I've been a long-time raver about Bear Canyon's pizza, wings, sandwiches, and salads. However the pizza we ordered tonight fell woefully short. It looked fine, but lacked the essential qualities that make BCP so good. The usual delightfully chewy crust was overly crisp and not chewy, and the flavor just wasn't there. I ordered black olive, onion, and extra cheese. Plenty of olives but there must be a shortage of onion in the kitchen, because onion was barely there. Adding onion is the same price as adding meat, so the veg should have been plentiful. The photo shows that the cheese wasn't distributed evenly. And lastly, the sauce was so sparse that the pizza ate dry. Very disappointing.

This place has 2 amazing locations and the employees are just as spectacular as the food, drinks and service. Laid back atmosphere for the entire family. Easy ordering at the counter and plenty of food left over to take home because you end up ordering all of the great options.

Family and I came in tonight for a calzone and pizza. I myself am not a huge pizza fan but the spouse and kiddos are. The gentleman behind the counter, Eli helped us out and gave us excellent customer service. He answered a few questions for us, told us his favorite pizza (Baja) which I really wanted but the rest of the family are boring and I wouldn't be able to finish it myself. We ended up getting a larger sized pepperoni pizza and the General Hitchcock calzone. We asked for extra sides of marinara, ranch and a pineapples, they were very accommodating. Their marinara wasn't overly acidic, I thought it had a hint if sweetness to it, which was nice since my calzone was higher in sodium with all the different types of meats in it. I really did enjoy my calzone and the bite of pizza I had; they have wonderful pizza dough. Kids and I are a huge fan of ranch, and they've got the good stuff! Atmosphere was nice and loud, to be expected with a pizza joint selling alcohol. I did find it nice they had a little kiddie corner where my kids got to play with a few toys while waiting for our food to arrive. We also found out through Eli they do have dessert options, cheesecake, tiramisu and house made ice-cream. Unfortunately, we were extremely full and had left overs to take home, so no dessert. One dislike was their napkins though, I know it sound funny but I felt like I had to use 10x the amount that I needed to, rather than if they just spent money on a good brand I'd use one. All in all, I would definitely come back and try their baja without the spouse and kids lol

Your timing is on point. Thanks for the pies on Halloween night.

Great timing for a large order. Appreciate the hard work and go to for pizza. Happy Halloween!

Love love love the ambiance at Bear Canyon Pizza. The outdoor space is perfect for hanging out with friends or letting kids have a little more space to roam, a huge jenga kept our kiddos entertained. Food came out quickly and staff was very attentive. Nice size portions and they serve beer, wine, cut waters :) *we went on a dine out night, so the owners donated a portion of proceeds to a local elementary school. Love this!

We stopped by BCP for dinner. It was a rare weeknight that was on the rainy side but not enough to stop us from grabbing a table on the patio. I hadn't been here before but ordered the cauliflower nachos and a Hefeweizen/wheat ale. We were a party of 4 and there were a couple other tables but that's about it. The food took a while to come out and each dish was pretty staggered, leaving the last of our party waiting quite a while before their food was served. The cauliflower was pretty good but the lemon seemed unnecessary. Another cup of dip would have been great tho! Overall decent place. Wasn't impressed with how long it took the food to come out but I'm sure we'll go again

    Now waiting for order #48

The service improved dramatically since my first visit a couple months ago but the food is "just okay". The one bright spot was the fried cauliflower nachos which were crispy but light with a nice topping combo. My husband's meatballs were kind of tough and overly garlicky and the sauce was acidic. My bear claw smash burger was dry and missing one of the advertised toppings. ALSO... I had the option of a single, double, or triple patty BUT no one (including the manager) could tell me what size the patties are. For a $6/patty charge I would expect that info to be available.

Over done- HARD crust and literally little to no toppings! Pepperoni and mushroom pizza

For snacks, we tried the chicken wings: half honey sauce (our favorite, crispy and delicious) and half bourbon. The bourbon wings had great flavor, though we felt they were slightly undercooked. Prices are very reasonable. The bathrooms were clean, but they were missing paper towels. Overall, it was a great experience, and we'll definitely be back to try more of the menu

That's how I found Louie's Cantina, and I'm so glad I did. We have two cars now, but I still make the Thursday drive every single week to celebrate the end of my work week since I'm off Friday and Saturday. There is just something about ending the week with a cold beer and a Mexican Candy shot with bartender Vinnie that makes life a little better. I can't say enough good things about this place. Louie, the owner, comes in from time to time, and you always know when he arrives because you hear his voice as he walks in. He says hello to everyone, is genuinely friendly, and clearly takes a lot of pride in his bar. And the Mexican Candy shots? So good. They come in all kinds of delicious flavors, and I still can't decide whether I like cucumber or mango better. I especially love that mine comes in a little snifter glass so I can sip it along with my beer. Speaking of beer, it is always cold, which matters! Vinnie is one of those bartenders who can talk about just about anything, from food to music, and he is just an all-around great person. The music is good, and they also have an AMI digital jukebox, so you can play songs right from the app, which makes it even more fun. Louie's Cantina is friendly, welcoming, and just a great place to unwind. What started as a way to kill time turned into one of my favorite spots of the week.

A had the Ahi Tuna Crunchy salad and she said it was as good as always as it's her favorite menu item. I had the Kale & Romaine Caesar with grilled chicken. The salad was delicious...golden raisins, pistachios and slightly salty chicken all worked well together however the roasted brussels sprouts were so raw that I couldn't even cut through them. The idea was great and I love roasted brussels but these were inedible. Took a long time to get our drinks and salads but once the food was served, our server NEVER came back to check on us. She did take the orders of new guests seated outside but totally ignored us even when it was obvious we were done and waiting for our check. After being ignored after finishing lunch for a good 20 minutes we went inside to the hostess station to see about paying but the hostess was unsure how to handle it. We were told to go back to the patio and wait at our table and she would tell our server. 10 minutes of doing that while we watched our server go to other tables was enough so we went back inside and asked for a manager. He came and identified our server as Ashley and went to tell her we wanted to pay. No apology, no care, no nothing. Ashley finally came up front and asked "Oh, you wanted to pay? Can I have your card?" We told her we never got our check so she retrieved it and took our payment. We were obviously unhappy but no one bothered to offer an apology or explanation. I haven't had service this bad in quite a while at any establishment. My husband and I hit up Yardhouse often before going to the movies but this experience makes it hard to want to come back.

My husband got the prime rib cheesesteak, I had a burger, and my friend had the lobster roll. I expected the mozzarella sticks to come out first but they came out with all of our food which was fine. The mozzarella sticks really lacked luster the breading was un flavorful and the bacon fat marinara sauce was actually not good either. The burger was maybe 4/10 they just cook the burgers well done - I was never asked how I wanted my burger. The bun ended up non existent half way through. The chips were interesting I think they must fry them in the bacon fat or a blend because the same flavor was in the marinara sauce which wasn't good. Hy husband loved his cheesesteak said it was great. My friend loved her lobster roll, she agreed with other reviews of the ratio of butter and mayo was great vs ones she has had in the past. We all didn't eat the chips. I think if they were fried in a regular oil it would've been fine or given the option of just plain fries would've been a nice substitute. It felt wasteful. Great job. In a few weeks I've been 3 times. I've tried the caviar cones that are a burst and mirage of flavors that left me wanting to order a dozen. Delicious. The guacamole experience at first glance I had written off, but friends decided to order and I'm so glad they did. Delicious!!! The Chicharron and Tostones were out of this world in flavor definitely worth it. The Fig drink is amazing. The sunset vodka drink with ginger OMG! The Mandavi red is amazing, the port is delicious for an after dinner cap off as is the espresso martini. I love all their glassware and tableware. They use the right glasses for the right things. Service is attentive, they're around, but they're not pushing you to be out the door -which I love. Definitely more of an Italy dining experience where they want you to sit back and relax and take your time. I love that. Especially because the place is so beautiful. You don't wanna leave and the chairs are so comfortable that you don't want to get up. Back to the food, got the special which was pork with a cherry glaze and goat cheese, drizzle. To die for perfectly accompanied with the artichoke. The ahi tuna dinner entree was cooked perfectly and a beautiful presentation. The steak was perfectly cooked. Wasn't a big fan of the Potatoes au gratin but it presented beautifully- I'm just more of a classic when it comes to that dish and they had a unique take on it. The crème brûlée was good. I feel like it's a staple that you can't really make any more exceptional than a good crème brûlée is. The surprise was the brownie, which I would not have ordered but friends wanted to so I tried it. it was amazing. I love the presentation of how they serve it and the taste was absolutely unique perfection! They made something taste exceptionally different, even though it seems like it would be your usual brownie à la mode. I've decided that I will have to try everything on the menu at least once. Because some of the things that I immediately wrote off with the things that I love the most.
