We both had patty melts tasty w aioli mushrooms cheese big patty on grilled rye , enjoyed only ate half . Could have had more fries & onion ring combo upgraded too . Added the tortilla cup of soup offer w burger . Not spicy at all lots of colorful small tortilla chips in in. Didn't see much chicken at all maybe if ordered full bowl? Risky's used to be our go to place but over the last 5 years has deteriorated to where we avoid. It's become dingy, dirty and the food has gone way downhill. I'm sad about this cuz it was nice to have a neighborhood hang out. But no longer read more

The first time I went to a Risky Business was in the early 2000s, and at that time, there were three or four restaurants. Now, there is only one remaining. We ordered the Angry Calamari as an appetizer, which was not nearly as good as I remembered it. The squid was overcooked as the texture was rubbery. For the main course, I ordered the herb-crusted sea bass served over linguini. While the linguini was ok, the fish had a strong fish smell and taste. The crabby mac and cheese had a strange taste as well. I am unsure if they use crab from a can, but I would avoid this dish. To drink, I ordered the mango jalapeno margarita, which was ok but not memorable. On the positive, our waitress was friendly. The restaurant is locally owned which I like, but unless some changes are made for the betterment of the food served, I do not think this establishment will last much longer.I know this is conjecture, but it seems like they are cutting corners to stay afloat. read more

We had a pleasant dinner with friends on the patio since the dining room was busy with screaming University of Alabama fans watching the football game. My cup of French onion soup (which I have had in the past) was not great... tiny portion and did not taste as I had remembered in the past at the Sunrise or the old Tanque Verde locations. My bbq ribs were tasty BUT (1) there is no such thing as a St. Louis Baby Back Rib... either a St. Louis Spare Ribs or Baby Back Ribs, (2) half portion was a small thin ribcage, and (3) to NOT serve any side dish with the ribs... nothing (no fries, slaw, potato salad, vegetable, not even a pickle) and have to pay extra for a small cup of soup was a ripoff! read more

Risky's is now permanently closed after 28 years. Loved this place for fun and food. The staff were friendly and attentive.

This is easily my favorite restaurant. I get the havarti cream cheese with the tomato basil soup. It comes with crackers on the side. It's crispy, fresh, hot and melty in all the best ways!!! I definitely dunk it and basically turn into a big kid every time I walk into this place. Service is good and they always have seating available. More of a cheers vibe, which I think is neat! Was a shit hole, food sucked, service /bartenders sucked ,, so over rated its pathetic

Sad that this place is shutting down like others in the area. Service today was horendious. Came to watch a few games, and got a beer. Taking my time I sat with an empty glass for over 20 minutes. Others around me getting refills with no problem. Hmmm, maybe this is why they're shutting down. Ordered some food, and it was very good. The waitress brought my food but didn't bring me silverware or napkin, so I had to go get it on my own. If you get ignored with the service, it doesn't matter how good the food is. I hate to see any restaurant close because these are tough times. Hopefully, a new restaurant will take Risky's place that can survive. read more

We absolutely love coming here! This time we tried the Greek flatbread, and it was fantastic--super fresh, loaded with delicious toppings, and full of flavor. Bartender was super nice, but should have been embarrassed by what he brought out from the kitchen- and the chef should be fired. One taco had a decent amount of fish, the other had what was leftover on the spatula. I won't be back which is unfortunate because it's super close. read more

If you're looking for a really great restaurant with really great food, Risky Business is the place for you. I guarantee you will not be disappointed! Risky's is the perfect home town bar restaurant! It's family friendly atmosphere and home cooked style food is without compare in Tucson. I eat at Risky's all the time because their food is the best! I've eaten everything on their menu more than several times and it's all prepared perfectly. I recently read a review of Risky from some guy that obviously has no taste buds and an equally obvious negative attitude on life. He wrote the burger he got was under cooked. I can tell you from personal experience, the cooks at Risky's are are the best in Tucson, hands down. I have eaten most all their burgers and each and every one of them was cooked perfectly, full of flavor and juicy. Their burgers (as well as everything else they offer) is cooked to perfection. So, who ever this out-of-towner was, he has his taste buds up his butt. Been many many years since I have been here. The waitress was cold. Nearly dropped a dish on a glass. I did not notice a smile Ordered an Old Fashioned. Not sure what they gave me but it was not an Old Fashioned. I did send it back and no charge. Ordered a Caesar salad. I do not know what that was either. I did not eat it. We decided to give this place a try since we drive by it all the time and we are so glad we did !! We got the kids some French fries and wow they were so yummy we ended up getting couple more orders of them !! The kids had nugget and fries and they loved it . We ordered the meatball with linguine noodles and it was 10/10, jambalaya with rice 10/10 . Our friends that were with us ordered the quesadillas and burgers and they loved it as well. I loved my taco salad!!! My hubby was not a big fan of the gumbo. This is one of those places that has a big, varied menu, so I think it really depends on what you order. When I asked about the fries the waitress said that item doesn't come with fries even though it's clearly listed under the sandwich category where it says sandwiches come with fries. She brings over the manager who doesn't even bother to introduce himself and who just says, " What's the problem?" Rude. Then he argues with me and says that they just didn't have room to state that that item doesn't come with fries and then walks away. Never tries to make things right.
