Talk about Sheisty and Rude!!!!!! I rarely eat at Panda Express, but on this particular day my bf and his daughter were craving some orange chicken and mayo walnut shrimp. So we stopped by after "shopping" at the crappy, sorry excuse of a shopping outlet next door! At first we were assisted by this very nice gentleman with a smile on his face.. then this Witch by the name of "shelby or shelly" something like that, said "ill take care of this, go over there" She was so FRIGGEN RUDE!!! It went from the nice dude with a "Hi there, how can I help you?" to this downright cold witch.... "what I said was did you want rice or, chow mein?!" Her sentiment all the way was cold. Made our ordering ordeal very unpleasant. As she spoke, she kept looking down or to her right so we could not understand her, so when we asked "sorry, what was that you said?" she would rudely raise her voice and say..."What I said was...." The food was a-ok, but the portions I had were the same as a kids meal. Very disappointed during our entire experience here. On top of that, that shellane or shelly chick was "assisting" an elderly man, an apparent war vet. He didn't understand her either, so she would look up at him and raise her voice again. I had a visit to the hungry parser here, the guests were surprised too many. But I was able to eat the food quickly as soon as I reduced the line. There is a parking lot here. There is also a toilet for guests. The shop is spacious and has a lot of tables. The staff is friendly and the location is like a pet dog. read more

It is not real Chinese food they are serving. They are tasteless, and blend. It is just Americanized fast Chinese food. It is also expensive. A plate with rice and chow men with three choices of meat and vegetables will run you $12. The eating areas are roomy. Clean bathrooms earned it a one star. read more

We bought our meals and needed to use the restroom before leaving. The employee yelled at us and said one person at a time. I was walking out the door with my hand on the door and let my mother use the restroom before me and the employee was still yelling at us to only have one customer use the restroom at a time. Unbelievable. That is no way to approach your customers. read more

The food is as expected and we are satisfied. But I wanna ask Panda Express to consider using less disposable cutlery. This location has many customers and everyone eats their food from foam boxes, paper cups, plastic utensils. I would rather pay a little more so you could hire someone to wash the dishes than losing the earth. Upon walking in, an employee was cleaning outside. She proceeded to walk in 3 steps ahead of us, and LET THE DOOR GO BEHIND HER!! so rude. They were double doors and she let both go. No courtesy what so ever. We proceed to food counter, the other employee says they have no Sweet fire chicken. I thought they were supposed to offer to make it?! Chowmein tasted stale. I had Panda Express last night in North Las Vegas Nevada and was quite pleased. So much so I wanted Panda Express today on my drive to Southern California. I stopped at the Panda Express on Lenwood off the 15 freeway. It was clean but the food was terrible. I ordered a bowl with rice and Kung Pao chicken. Since you cannot eat in the restaurant I took my food to my vehicle to eat. First of all no condiments. Thank god I asked for chili sauce packets but no teriyaki sauce which by the way was in my bag of food I ordered in north Las Vegas without asking. The aroma was so pleasing to my mouth I was looking forward to the food. However it seemed most of the chicken was chicken fat I had to spit out most of the chicken I tried to eat. Terrible! You can barely hear what the workers are saying over the counter and I had to start yelling over the noise just to hear myself. On the way to Las Vegas seems like most people from Southern California stop in Barstow to get something before continuing to Las Vegas. This weekend 5/2021 we took the Lenwood exit to have a break and get some food. We decided on Panda Express (had too many burgers lately). We both got the two item plate. I chose Orange Chicken my favorite and honey walnut shrimp with fried rice. My rice quantity was average and the shrimp was 6 pieces, but the Orange Chicken ONLY FOUR LITTLE PIECES!!! This location has the best team I've experienced. Anai and all of them are always so polite and welcoming from the minute you walk in the door, even when they are really busy and dealing with rude guests. They are awsome. Not sure why this location is rated so low but I thought it was great. The inside is newly remodeled and has plenty of seating. I noticed that they make every entree that's available so I know that this place is typically busy and hence the food should be fresh and hot. The food was great, the veggies were not overcooked and the food was not salty as it does tend to get if it's been sitting in those heat trays for a while. Expect to pay a bit more per plate because of its location. read more

We were at panda around 10:30pm which I think it was near closing time. After we receive our order and sat down, I saw the staff was starting to close up the joint by cleaning the food area. They did not remove the food from the display and start to use windex to clean the outside windows. I would not eat at the place if I saw that before I order. Even though I do not see a direct contact of food and windex, the spraying of windex around food just doesn't seem right. I do not want to feel there is a possibility of windex solution in my food. read more

I'm not giving all Panda's two stars, just this one and again, it's not because of the food. I've come in here twice and the line has been RIDICULOUS both times. They seriously portion control the hell out of their scoops. It costs extra for the Honey walnut shrimp but they only give you 5 pieces. You're already paying the extra for a 2nd item and they charge extra for the 2nd item and limit you to 5 pieces!? I sat there and picked off all the vegetables off the chow main and was left with a small palm full of chow main and a mountain of vegetables. The Chinese McDonalds. Food always taste exactly the same at every one of their locations, some times good so times bad but in this case good. Picking a Chinese fast food place is like rolling a dice... and most of the time you will loose and that's why this is my favorite Chinese FAST food. Talk about what a year does. Was last here in October of 2010 during a pit-stop to Vegas. After my last visit - holy cow we weren't even sure if this was the same place. Outside looks the same but they had a crazy remodel of the inside. The most up-to-date, modern/trendy Panda's I've seen. Very clean, including the bathrooms. Efficient service with minimal wait (even with a line). Plenty of parking. Plenty of seating. Oh, and they have some family pack offers that I haven't seen offered in our local Panda (although we don't really eat Panda, so maybe this is new?), which definitely seemed to be cost effective and an easy way to feed your hungry caravan. read more

I was super impressed with this Panda Express. When we stopped, there were 3 huge tour buses parked outside... and every last one of the passengers must have been in this restaurant!!! It was PACKED with Chinese and Vietnamese tourists having lunch! All the tables were jammed, and there was a huge line. Even with the crowds... the servers cranked people through there. The kitchen was roaring along, so steam table was fully stocked. We probably only had to wait in line about 10 min. We had some trouble getting seats, but the tables did turn over promptly, and the staff was doing an AMAZING job wiping tables, sweeping floors, emptying trash, and keeping up. The restaurant stayed pleasant and clean inside, and we enjoyed our lunch and our food. When we went into the bathroom, I expected the worst--no, the staff was totally on top of things--fully supplied and clean. It was so much better than a Panda Express we stop at on I-5--when they get slammed during holiday travel, the wait is much longer, they can't keep up on the food and the cleaning. This Barstow Panda Express totally rocks! MAJOR KUDOS to the staff at this restaurant!!! Still... if you see huge tour buses parked outside... you may want to reconsider! read more
