Rude employees who make customer service seem like a sick joke. I won't be stopping here on my way to Vegas anymore.

We are from out of town and stopped at the Panda Express on Lenwood for dinner while staying at the Hampton Inn down the road. We have a disabled son in a wheelchair who now has a service dog in tow ( currently in training). We sat down at a table while my husband went to order our food. My son and I were asked to leave because of our dog (who had a vest and was in a carrier). We have never been asked to leave from any restaurant and we were so embarrassed and humiliated especially because we were asked to leave in front of many patrons. I explained that she was a service dog for my son and was still asked to leave. We ended up having to eat in the hot car instead and we far from enjoyed our meals. My husband went in to complain but the worker had just left and nobody wanted to take any responsibility. Never again! Horrible experience! read more

Getting a refund on our soups because they don't have spoons.. only forks... wow.. we asked the cashier... and she knew about it.. why don't they tell you before you order it. Manager is now refunding us the money! Ridicoulouse. Oh and they don't have steam rice either. They are not tying to either do some more either... she just said.. "we don't have any". WOWO read more

We come here through our trips back from places on our way home and yesterday it was AWFUL. The lady that was helping me with my food choices would cut me off and start talking to her co-workers. I had to say " fried rice and black pepper chicken" SIX TIMES because she would not listen and cut me off. Then we got to pay and the lady at the register was so rude and gave me attitude and forgot to give us our fortune cookies and I went back to ask for them and she didn't say sorry or one word she literally just handed me them and didn't look at me and didn't say anything to me. SO RUDE NEVER GOING BACK THERE. read more

The food is standard Panda Express, which is what I was going for. The review is based on the portions. I only wanted two individual items--honey sesame chicken and honey walnut shrimp. I received six shrimp and one walnut (for $5.75) and a few pieces of chicken with one green bean and no peppers (for $4.50). I understand that they need to watch how much they give out, but I have never received such meager portions at a Panda Express for such outrageous prices. The one at home at least ensures that you get some vegetables with the meat entrees to make it look full. Additionally, they had fresh bowls of each just brought out, so it was not because they were running short at the moment. Terrible service at this Panda. Don't waste your money. read more

Tried a little of everything when we went. Everything I had was fresh and well prepared. If not, the server offered for me to wait for a fresh batch to come out of whatever dish I had. We decided to have lunch in Barstow coming back from our Las Vegas trip. 2 cars, I had my daughter, my sister, my niece and my god daughter with me. The other party decided to go to In-N-Out, which we already had the night before. At least this In-N-Out opened the doors ready to go before 10 am! Let me start off by saying, YES, I did have an attitude and YES, I could have handled the situation a lot better like WALKING OUT AS SOON AS I NOTICED THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY FOOD! Who does that? Really? It's a fast food restaurant, granted it was 10:00 am but correct me if I'm wrong and NO I'm NOT wrong (My 1st job was at Burger King). The food is prepped and ready to go before the establishment opens! This place had fried rice, beef broccoli, mushroom chicken and Kung Pao Chicken! That's IT! Granted, my sister and her fiance chose In N Out and we knew we had a little bit of time to wait so we ordered. My daughter ordered 2 entree combo with cashew shrimp and mushroom chicken (7 min). I ordered 2 entree combo orange chicken with bacon (5 min) and beef broccoli. So why did it take forever? Again, nothing was ready and when the cook finally put the tray on the counter for the ladies (BTW, there were 3) to place on the trays in front, NOT ONE OF THEM NOTICED but they sure as heck were chit chatting. Maybe I should have said something, but why should I? They know what protocol is and where was the manager for all this? I have never, never in my life experience this. Needless to say my attitude kicked in and I ended up cancelling my order and only paying for my daughter's combo. I left Barstow mad and on an empty stomach! I will NEVER, NEVER again stop here for lunch or any other time. There are plenty of other restaurants in the same vicinity to waste your time with these people and if you're going to stop here make sure it's not when they open at 10 am or run the risk of them NOT having what you want, like we did. HUGE, HUGE disappointment. BTW, I did apologize to the cashier but I also told her that EVERYTHING should have been prepped and ready to go by the time the doors opened. BAD SERVICE = low rating. Always a treat, and fast and neat, too! The Angus Steak is excellent. The Special Shrimp has the crispiest and mouthwatering snap peas I've ever eaten. Always busy - its a traveler magnet. I do have to admit that the portions are slightly smaller than other Panda Expresses, but the meal is still adequate. A fine respite after braving that desert!! read more

Came to this location on a Sunday afternoon and they were packed. All the food was hot and decent for a panda express. They can handle that afternoon rush pretty quick. Only issue was that I got the steak and they don't mention to you that it is 1.25 extra. I didn't even see any clear signs either. read more

they just remodled this panda express and it definitely has a modern atmosphere. Definitely one of the nicest panda expresses ive been to and its in barstow... i dont know who they are trying to target for the remodeling but they did a very good job. I just wish they had more selection like the recent panda express ive been too considering its a brand new restaurant. read more

This is an EXCELLENT Panda Express!! Lots of business and fast turnover in food, so it's not sitting forever. They even serve Tsingtao beer and some other Chinese canned drinks. Pretty cool!! read more

Terrible customer service. I usually don't expect much from fast food, other than my food, ya know, being fast. But when you act like I'm inconveniencing you while I've been waiting 15 minutes for food that you just started making 5 minutes ago, and then walk out WITHOUT food, I'm going to be a little pissed. Stopped in on our way to Barstow. Fast and friendly service. I read the reviews and wasn't expecting much from customer service but they were great and smiling the entire time despite the super long line we had (it was probably 7pm). Food was fresh and wasn't half bad. Satisfied my craving. Bathrooms were pretty clean too, which is an extra star in my book. read more

Restrooms are disgusting at least in the men's restroom. Both sinks were broken and inoperable. Makes me wonder how the male employees are washing their hands. Trash was overflowing from cans. The portions of food were smaller than usual. Skip this disgusting place and go elsewhere. Cant believe management would tolerate this such dirtyness.. read more

One of the better Panda's I've been to on my way to Vegas. It was great idea to stop for some fresh food, fast and delicious. Good experience interacting with the Manager Jose! Gave us awesome customer service and made it seem like our experience in Vegas started earlier than expected! Highly recommend stopping here! I'll be stopping here again on my way back for sure! This great team catered an event at our school. Highly professional and personable. Great food also.

The fried rice was good. Customer service is not that great. They don't really seem to care. Egg roll was terrible, but the entrees (beef broccoli and string bean chicken) were quite tasty. A group of four of us went here for dinner. Three of us had good food, but one member found a long hair in her food, which is gross. She took it up to the counter, and the girl asked if there was anymore hair in her food..... Isn't one gross enough? Why would more hair make a difference? Someone else's hair in your food is disgusting. She told her no that's the only one but she wanted her money back. Finding a hair in her food just made her lose her appetite, which is understandable, but the girl at the counter gave her attitude. I would have given three stars, but when staff are rude to you, it doesn't deserve more than two. read more

I will not come to Panda Express again. I don't come here and I'm not familiar with their menu and my $9 meal ended up costing $13 because they added all kinds of Premium charges. It was not identified adequately on the menu and even though I complained about it I had two choices to have them cancel everything and walk out or pay the increased amount. Being that we have been stuck in traffic for hours I opted to eat, but rather than charge me for a 3 item meal, which Paul and I are sharing, they would rather throw it out. Line out the door and there are only 2 people making plates. Not ONE person cooking or making plates has gloves on.

The portion sizes were probably half the size of every other panda I've been to. And almost all my food was cold. I was very disappointed.

Rude workers (pays 0 attention to customers), burnt food, and most of the sodas are watered down. Sad thing is place would still probably make business because of the brand name. read more

Ok so if your expecting authentic Chinese food this is probably not where you would want to eat. I've never rated "real" Chinese but I'm sure this isn't it. That being said. I LOVE Panda Express. We ordered the family feast and it was plenty for all of us. The teriyaki chicken is great, as was the orange chicken mushroom chicken and the chow mein. The restaurant had a very spacious dinning area and large screen tvs (great for the kids since they had been stuck in the car for a while). The only thing I didn't like was that half of the tvs were broadcasting an MMA fight which was kind of scaring my toddler and it was fairly chilly in the restaurant. Wow, this Panda Express was a train wreck!!! We waited on line for 20 minutes. I wanted to order black pepper chicken, which they decided not to make today. I got the Kung pao chicken instead, which they should call Kung pao grissle, as there weren't any actual pieces of chicken, just grissle. Even the plain vegetables were inedible! And get this: there was no ice for the drinks!!! Should have gone next door to In And Out! read more
