Still the only location I'll go to in the area for Panda. Whoever cooks there deserves a massive raise bc their food is always on point. However. The people running the drive thru always forget something. A straw. Napkins. Silverware., etc. Always. Always. Something. So take the time to double check your bag.

Newly opened Panda Express! Clean and new. Good service. Delicious food. They have 2 restrooms that require door codes. Near EV charger stations.

I absolutely love their super greens and white streamed rice and that's exactly what I had a taste for last night.

The food is always fresh and the service is always good. I haven't really had a bad experience at this location which is refreshing when you're spending your money to patronize a restaurant or place of business. I appreciate good and hard workers that go the extra mile. Shawn took care of me in the drive thru 30 mins before the restaurant closed last night. She was helpful as always. She has taken care of me numerous amount of times inside the restaurant. She carries herself like a manager and I actually thought at first when I met her she was one of the managers because of her attentiveness, her professionalism, and her conduct. She carries herself very well and you can see that she is very seasoned in her line of work. You can tell she has worked in a place of business before and you can tell that she loves what she does. Thank you Shawn. God bless you and your family.

I expected to be refunded $14 as that's what I paid and didn't receive anything.

Today I went to this location and ordered my food. They said that part of my order wasn't ready, yet, and that it would be a few minutes. I sat down and waited for about 15 minutes for my food. I was just about to go ask if they had forgotten about me when one of the ladies came over and said it would be 3 more minutes. Shortly after that she came over and told me that actually they were all out of that item! I would have been fine with them running out of something if they had told me from the beginning. It wasn't right to leave me waiting that long just to tell me they didn't have it. I had ordered a plate plus a free entree for the 5 star review I had given them online. I decided to just get a refund and go elsewhere to eat. Bero did the refund and I felt that she had a little bit of an attitude with me. I would have expected her to be more apologetic after leaving me waiting like that. All I asked is that I wanted my free entree to be re-instated since I wouldn't be using it today. She was like, "I can't give you money for something you didn't pay for". Obviously I know that. I was just asking for it to be re-instated, but she was too busy talking instead of listening to what I was saying. I come here regularly and I always round up my change for the childrens hospital. When she refunded me, she didn't even give me back the full $14 that I paid. She refunded me $13.99. I am not worried about a penny, but it was just the principle. If I paid $14 and didn't get anything, why would you not refund me $14 back? I had really liked coming to this location because I liked the food, the cleanliness and the seating. I also thought the service was mostly good even though they have forgot about me and left me waiting a few times before. But after tonight I won't be going back. I think they could have been more professional and more polite to me. I will find somewhere new to eat. (Ps- it was not very busy)

The three combo meal for $15 I'm very disappointed. Go down the street to the other Chinese restaurant so much better for $11.

The food is OK for the little bit. They give you for $15 blown away. It's a shame my son likes this place and I don't know why I guess he still likes children food. And the service is not all that great either I'd rather listen to their iPods and listen to what the customer wants. I really don't recommend coming here.

I ate almost the entire plate and drank every bit of the rich, flavorful stew that came with it. So delicious, juicy, and packed with flavor. We still had about 200 miles to go, and all that was left in the car was coconut water and a few pretzels--not exactly a satisfying meal! I opened Yelp to see what Barstow had to offer, and Chelas Y Carnitas immediately caught my eye. I'm so glad we made the stop. The food was incredibly fresh and tasted like it was made from scratch--which I believe it was. Every bite of our wet, chicken burrito and steak burrito with everything in it, was delicious. Although it's a true hole-in-the-wall spot, that's part of its charm. The service was warm and welcoming, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the food exceeded our expectations. This place is an absolute gem, and it has officially become a must-stop whenever I'm traveling between Southern California and Las Vegas. Highly recommend!

We asked the young lady helping us for her recommendation, so I went with the oxtails over rice, collard greens, and baked beans. They were so tender they fell right off the bone, and I made sure to clean every last bit that didn't. The gravy over the rice, with just the right amount of heat, was fantastic. My wife had the Salisbury steak with broccoli and yams and loved it just as much. We swapped bites and agreed this was the best food of our four week road trip. Portions were huge and prices were right in line with a typical restaurant, so the value was great too. It was 100+ degrees outside on July 5th, and the staff let us bring our dog Sarah in out of the heat, which we really appreciated. The young lady who helped us was friendly and professional the whole time, and it turns out she has a dog that looks just like Sarah, named Zoey. Small world. If you're anywhere near Barstow, this is a must visit.

The brisket is tender, well seasoned and overall very good. The bbq sauce was tasty, I would have preferred a bit more kick, but good. The collard greens were good, not like my Mama made them, but good. The rice with the oxtail gravy was tasty. The corn was good and had some heat. The beef ribs were not as tender as I would like (I am a pork rib kinda girl) but they weren't bad. The only thing that I really didn't like was the squash. I make squash and onions all the time and I could not place what was off. The closest I can come is maybe they had sat too long or the oil was old? I'm not sure but they were sadly disappointing. All and all it was a pleasant experience and we will likely be back. Definitely worth the stop if you are driving through Barstow.

We found parking easily and walked on - as soon as we walked in we were greeted warmly - always a good sign! The inside was very clean - it took us a minute to remember the menu because we don't get there often. Ordering was easy and the person at the counter was super friendly! Food was made quickly and was very tasty, hot and fresh! When we were finished I went to thrown our trash and put the tray back and I noticed the gentleman who was making the food and told him everything was delicious! First, and probably the most important, they don't have Diet Pepsi, but Pepsi Zero. And Pepsi Zero is just awful. And yes, I tried it. I admit that I'm a fan of Coke products, but I'll survive on Diet Pepsi, never, but never Pepsi Zero. So that alone makes me not want to come here anymore. This trip, the girl taking our order seemed confused. Maybe she was new? But it didn't help that we had to explain we wanted a bowl of Chili, and even though it's not on the menu, they could sell it. I personally didn't want a burger this time, so I ordered a chicken sandwich, which is basically just chicken tenders on a bun. Not very impressed, but it wasn't as bad as Pepsi Zero. They do get credit for having a "senior" menu, which I ordered from. And I appreciate that they have tater tots. It seemed like a smaller portion, but it was actually perfect for me. I'll keep checking back, but if I see they still only serve Pepsi Zero, I might be walking over the McD's for my drink.

(4.25 STARS)…read more Memorial Day road trips always seem to create the best random discoveries, and Pit Stop Bar & Grill absolutely delivered. Tucked away off Victor Street in Barstow, this was a fun find while driving back to Los Angeles from Vegas over Memorial Day weekend. Big props to Haley M., who was basically running a one-woman show and somehow kept the entire place moving with a great attitude and solid service. That alone made the stop memorable. The location has a cool, laid-back vibe with plenty to keep people entertained while grabbing food and drinks. They've got two billiards tables, a dart board, and all kinds of classic bar games, board games, and card games, including UNO, which is a family favorite. They also have several televisions. The food was all good too. I really enjoyed the Green Chili Burger, and everyone else in my party seemed genuinely happy with their meals as well. I felt they were trying to nickel and dime when I got the bill, i was charged for a side of ranch, a side of BBQ, and had no idea I was being up charged for the onion rings. I didn't say a word, but it hit wrong with me. .75 points deducted. What especially stood out to me, though, was the Memorial Day place setting displayed near the front entrance honoring our veterans and fallen heroes. It was simple, respectful, and genuinely touching. See my picture. That detail said a lot about the heart behind this place. If you're making the Vegas-to-LA drive and want something more memorable than the usual freeway fast-food stop, this place is definitely worth checking out. Great atmosphere, friendly energy, and one of those spots you end up talking about later.
