The vibes here are always super lovely. There's plenty of seating for folks who want to get work done and the employees are all exceptionally sweet and accommodating. They have more experimental / novelty drinks which can be hit or miss but they're really fun to try. Such a cute coffee spot! Had to give this cafe a try for their innovative speciality lattes and was not disappointed. I tried their banana bread latte and I don't like sweet coffee an asked the barista to make it less sweet and and she did an amazing job making it less sweet but not lose flavor! I'm not a fan of hazelnut, which the og recipe calls for, so the barista subbed it for toffee for me and it was fire. My mom got their Mumbai masala chai which was also super yum and had a good taste of spices. We also got their spinach and cheese pastry which was fresh and also super yum. Probably closer to 3.5 stars. This is (almost) a good place to get some work done! They have outlets and a decent amount of seating. The only con is that the music is too loud. One time it was so loud a stranger next to me actually went up to ask the employee to lower the music and everyone thanked him. I don't recommend if you have to take any calls or meetings. The bathroom code changes every week so you'll need to ask the employees for the code when you come in. Drinks are okay - not my favorite but I still come back because it's the best place I've found to do work so far. It comes out to $6.85 for an iced oat milk latte with a flavored syrup. I was in the area for meetings and wanted to stop somewhere I can work on my laptop and get a little pick me up. Glad I stumbled upon this spot! It was super chill inside. The line was super quick, and while there were people seated all around, the noise level was pretty low. The decor is cute and loved the vibe. The barista I ordered with was sweet! I didn't really know what to get, so I opted for an iced Carmel latte w oat milk. She was like "wait, have you had the Carmelita. It's like a vanilla/carmel latte." I was sold and when I told her I want it with oat milk she said that's the absolute best combo. I also got a croissant. The Carmelita was really good! I have been visiting Panama Coffee at least once a week for the past few months. The atmosphere is clearly coffee shop with busy employees, tables both inside and outside. It's normally busy around 9:30-10:00 when so get there but we normally find one table open. Large menu of drinks both hot & cold. Fresh baked goods and a couple of hot items but coffee is their focus. I have tried numerous coffee drinks and non disappoint. Employees are super friendly. This is my favorite coffee shop in Livermore - it feels so warm and cozy, the staff are friendly, the drinks are unique, and there is wi-fi and a bathroom ! I got to visit again a little before the holidays and it was the perfect escape from the cold outside. It was so nicely decorated and the barista that served me was very friendly. My family has been visiting Panama for over a decade and has had memorable experiences here throughout the years. The service has always been fantastic, but I feel like the coffee is increasingly becoming a hit-or-miss. My favorite drink, the Java Chip Breeze, no longer tastes the same and there's hardly any Java chips. It's also been pretty watered down lately. I've ordered a cono pour over in the past and really liked it. The most recent time we ordered one, the shop was so busy that they forgot about it after they poured the water over, so it just sat there until it was nearly cold. My husband used to really like the white chocolate mocha, but lately there's no mocha flavor and only tastes like sugar. Once in a while I like to treat myself to a chocolate chip cookie, but the past two times the cookies have been burnt. Generally Panama is a solid coffee shop, but I think the staff needs to slow down to give each order the adequate time it needs. It already takes a bit for the drinks to come out, so waiting an extra few minutes doesn't hurt if the coffee will come out fantastic. read more

I found Panama Bay Coffee from a Google search and realized that I've passed by this place many times. What a cute spot! Loved the Latin beach vibes and appreciated the ample cozy seating. I was able to find a corner spot with an electricity outlet and took my meetings with their free and fast wifi. I ordered a egg and pepper jack cheese croissant and a hot rooibos tea. The egg and cheese croissant just hit right. I think they make the croissants in-house. They weren't big and flaky like I'd expect from a French croissant, but the choux was definitely crispy and buttery. I've always had great experiences here at Panama Bay. My daughter loves their cookies and I love their coffee. They have a nice relaxed atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. Their location is incredible (on the corner of 1st and South K) and nothing beats sitting on the patio with a hot cup of coffee watching the folks walk by. Pretty good coffee place. Loved the little things about it. It's right in downtown Livermore, so parking is a little difficult. It's close to where they hold their Sunday Farmers Market. They have an area where you can watch them make the drip coffee. They support local students. They had coffee mug sleeves where you can design it. There's a bookshelf in the back that holds games for those that want to hang out. The wall of pics of their staff was a cute touch. Decided to visit Panama Bay Coffee for the first time! I went on an afternoon and there were some people. There was no wait to order. I forgot the name of my drink, but it was something along the lines of an iced mocha! The staff were helpful and I appreciated their friendliness. Clean tables with outlets available across the cafe. Cool cosy cafe! They have a large menu with lots to offer. I like their java breeze, it's nicely rich in coffee and the ice is blended well (very smooth to drink). The flavor is not too sweet and very creamy. It's a delicious icy treat! Their brewed coffee is also good! It's made as a pour over. There's a "secret" menu of flavors they can add into your drink located by the registers if you like (in general). They also make milkshakes!
