We thought they were only okay: - almond croissant was nice on the outside but the inside paste could have been softer - chocolate pan was okay but not amazing - pepperoni pizette could have used more toppings and less cheese - quiche Lorraine was bland - curry croquette had a nice flavor but the veggies were undercooked I was impressed by the coffee though. I tried the pink velvet macchiato and the espresso was lovely and strong, and then the pink velvet mixed in with a great flavor. I'd get coffee here again. Service was very slow, we felt bad for the one cashier who was also making the drinks. Meanwhile we could see three other staff in the kitchen just standing there talking and laughing to each other. I was in the area for work and I saw this on my way there. I'm always a huge fan of bakeries and Paris baguette has never let me down. So on my break, I decided to give it a try. Curry Croquette: This was heated for me and it was delicious. It was no overpowering with the curry spices and it wasn't too oily for my taste either. It was still crunchy for a croquette and it was a nice snack for me to end my lunch (which I had earlier at work). Peach Ice Tea: I went with tea because it felt simple and you can't do it wrong. The peach tea was not overpowering for flavor and it tasted as described. It was refreshing for me and I made it last my entire remaining of my shift at work. Satisfied with the drink. Bites: coffee danish (3.69) disappointing. -powdered sugar on top, slight drizzle of chocolate-coffee substance slightly flava full. -long baked semi-wide bread stick crunchy with bland brown paste within. Look what is new in town! Check out this newly opened location. Within the same buildings as the Vine cinema and the Zephyr Restaurant. Parking in the back lot or in the street in front. Such a wonderful addition to the Livermore area. I was super excited when I found out one of my favorite bakeries just opened in this neighborhood . I also am glad that this location is not exactly in the downtown so the parking would be easier to find. I came in a bit late during the day almost around 6 PM, so the selections of their breads and pastries were a bit limited. However I was able to get some delicious almond and chocolate croissants. The atmosphere and music played were so lovely and the staff were friendly. Next time I'll visit a bit earlier during the day. read more

The decor is in line with the rest of the chain--bright, light, and airy. There are many delicious offerings. Unfortunately, many were gone by the time I swing by at 1pm for a little treat after lunch. I'll have to return earlier in the day next time. Unlike the nearby location on Santa Rita Road, this one has a pleasant smell and a view of the bakers making the tasty treats. What a great addition to Livermore, went last Monday to check it out and it didn't disappoint. Clean,neat well organized, friendly staff quick service amd of course a great selection of pastries and sweets. I went to the newly opened Paris Baguette with a coupon that clearly said $5 for ANY beverage drink with pastry. The cashier immediately gave me attitude and said it was only for coffee. I said "Okay, then I'll take a macchiato," and she repeated "Only coffee" in a dismissive tone. She walked away and came back with a plain black coffee -- no explanation, no offer to upgrade or pay the difference, just rude and unhelpful. When she handed me my pastries, she had shoved my cream bombolone into the same box with a donut and a crispy croissant, squashing everything together. The cream-filled pastry was smushed and messy before I even left the counter. For a new store, you'd expect friendly, welcoming service to make a good impression -- but this experience was the exact opposite. The service was careless, unfriendly, and completely unprofessional. My wife & I have to PB a number of times during weekday mornings about 9:30. The choice of pastries both hot or cold are awesome and always fresh. Lots of choices makes it hard to choose. My wife enjoys their hot chocolate or iced mocha. I love the coffee black. The staff is always friendly and usually a table is available. It's our go to place now for breakfast. While the visual presentation is lovely, the ambiance was continually disrupted by the mother of the girls working there. She was speaking harshly in front of myself and the other patrons. We tried the Lemon Citrus Tart slice, Strawberry Pistachio Cake slice, Pistachio Supreme Croissant, Pistachio Mochi Donut, and two BBQ Chicken Pizzettas and absolutely everything was delicious. I'm a big fan of this bakery and will definitely be coming back to try more. They were out of several items I had planned to order, which is honestly a good sign! The pastries are very good, and the cases are well stocked in the mornings. I've tried their baguettes which are also good, certainly much better than the "baguettes" at the nearby Safeway. However, it's difficult to pay. If you've got time it's not problem, but if you just want to run in, grab your favorite, and get out you may get stuck waiting to pay at the counter for several minutes. Often there are many people behind the counter but it seems only one is allowed to service customers--boxing pastries, preparing speciality drinks, and paying. The shop setup makes these time-consuming activities especially when added to the time some guests take to make a beverage decision. Some mornings I decide not to stop in because I don't have the time--having both registers staffed, with experienced cashiers, would go a long way towards addressing this--a key rule for any business is to make it easy for customers to pay! Thankful for Paris Baguette. I like the enclosed shelves for sanitary reasons, unlike other locations where shelves are open. Selections are new and curated well for my sweet tooth. Most of all, the staff is friendly and helpful in getting me signed for the rewards program and the offers within are generous. Stopped by for the first (and last) time yesterday, because of the BOGO coupon. Walked up to the cake counter where a worker was filling the case and I know she saw me, not greeted or even asked if she could help me. Another customer walked around me to the register and she helped her first. So then I walked to,the register and the same worker did not acknowledge me, I said what I wanted and she told someone else to get my order. My two slices before coupon would have been $17.67 and with coupon down to $9.03. I gave her $10.05 and she had a hard time giving me back my $1 back. I normally would have left the $1 tip, but felt I was not a valued customer, decided not too. I will say, the strawberry cake was delicious, but not a fan of the frosting on the red velvet. I had a really frustrating experience at this coffee shop. I ordered three drinks and some pastries. For two of the drinks, I ordered a caramel macchiato and a white mocha. When the barista handed me my drinks, she casually mentioned that she had switched the labels, so my white mocha was labeled as caramel macchiato and my caramel macchiato as white mocha. I was still confused, though, because the "caramel macchiato" had dark mocha sauce drizzled around the cup. When I asked for clarification, she kept insisting it was the caramel macchiato and just laughed off the fact she put the mocha sauce on it. I then asked if my "white mocha" was actually a white mocha since the drink looked dark, and she told me she used dark chocolate instead of white. She said she'd remake the white mocha, but I ended up waiting another 10 minutes on top of the 20 minutes I had been there as she proceeded to work on other orders. I eventually had to go back up and remind her about mine, and when I did, she told me to wait a few more minutes. Not once did she apologize for the mix-up or the wait. To make matters worse, some of the pastries I ordered were completely burned black after being heated. They did not let me know of this, and I did not realize until I was home. So make sure you check your orders before leaving. This was very disappointing, especially since I was excited to try this cafe. I won't be coming back. read more
