Smaller restaurant with Asian decor. For the food we got the chicken omurice and pad kee mao with chicken. All very good! Chicken omurice: definitely the highlight and seems like one of their more popular dishes. The chicken was flavorful, hot, and has a nice crispy light batter. So good! The rice with egg really complimented the chicken as well. Good flavors and not overwhelming. Highly recommend Pad kee mao: good traditional flavors. It comes mild, so didn't have much of a kick. I don't eat too spicy so that was fine for me. If you prefer more spicy I recommend asking to increase the spicy level. Came here for Sunday brunch and called at 9am that morning for an 11am reservation for three. When we arrived, the place looked pretty calm with just one large party and a few scattered tables Honestly, perfect timing, because within minutes the brunch rush hit and the place filled up fast. We started strong with the truffle tots: crispy, well-seasoned, and topped with Parmesan. The sauce? Genuinely great. No notes there. The chicken omurice was also a win! flavorful, comforting, and exactly what you'd hope for. My daughter's "bear in a blanket" dish was almost too cute to eat, and our server kindly offered complimentary mini pancakes for my toddler (which we didn't even know was a thing). They were adorable and surprisingly good, even without syrup. I also ordered the cloud matcha, which was delicious. Now... the duck Benedict. I'm saving it for last for a reason and not a good one. It was, unfortunately, a complete miss. It lacked flavor in a way that was almost impressive. Like... aggressively bland. The spinach and tomato completely overpowered the duck, and even tasting the duck on its own didn't help. It was giving absolutely nothing. Nothing. I've been here a few more times since my last review. Once for dinner with a friend on a weeknight and it wasn't too busy. I had the yellow curry w/brown rice. The curry had good flavor but was a bit watery for my taste, and the rice was okay. I got hubby a dish to-go and he enjoyed it. The most recent time I came for brunch with friends on a Saturday around 10:30am/11am and it wasn't busy at all and we were sat right away! I tried their omurice b/c it looked cute! The egg was good and fluffy. Their famous fried chicken was delicious, but I was a bit sad on the rice, it lacked some flavor. Apparently it was supposed to be garlic rice but the garlic didn't come through for me. The curry was good I just wish there was more of it b/c the chicken needed some sauce. I asked for a side of their sweet chili that comes on the side when you order their fried chicken pad thai...and that made the dish a whole lot better. read more

4.5 STARS This is quickly becoming my go-to neighborhood spot. It's very convenient and there is always plenty of parking nearby. Why not 5 stars? The service can be hit-or-miss. My first visit was with my parents on a Sunday evening. Even though the restaurant was nearly empty, the server insisted we sit right by the door and window. When I politely asked to move, he agreed but spent the rest of the night scowling at us. It was so uncomfortable that I asked my parents if they wanted to leave. My dad eventually joked, "You should Yelp this," and we think the server overheard because his attitude shifted and a different server took over. That kind of first impression definitely leaves a mark. Thankfully, the food delivered where the service lacked. The Tom Yum soup really hit the spot for my mom. I had the Beef Pra Ram; the peanut sauce was perfectly balanced and didn't make the spinach soggy. My parents also loved the deep-fried fish, and the mango sticky rice was delicious. My second visit was on a rainy Friday night with a friend. The place was packed and the kitchen was clearly overwhelmed, so we had a long wait for our food. Again--hit-or-miss. My third visit was for lunch after the holidays. This was the most "normal" experience so far; the server was friendly and the food arrived promptly. Bottom line: It's absolutely worth visiting for the food, but go in with managed expectations regarding the service. I keep coming back because the kitchen is so consistent. Can't believe I haven't written a review for this location sooner - we come here all the time. We love the food and hospitality. Bo is absolutely wonderful and always so cheerful. The restaurant is very clean and I love when they decorate for holidays too :) It's rare to find a Thai brunch location, and the brunch here is fantastic. We typically come for dinner, which is easiest after work right before the dinner rush starts. They recently released a lunch menu and we've tried that a couple times and like it. PLENTY of great options on their full menu - I really think you can't go wrong with anything you select. I've visited Time Thai Kitchen's Pleasanton location but I was interested in checking out their Livermore spot to try their brunch menu. I started with the Fried Chicken Omurice. It was a bit different than I expected; the flavor profile reminded me more of a loco moco than a traditional omurice. It did not have enough gravy sauce for the amount of rice so we had to order extra sauce. Next, we tried the Khao Soi. It was decent--not the most memorable Khao Soi I've ever had, but it was still enjoyable. The flavors were there, just a little muted compared to what I'm used to. The most unique dish was the Tiramisu French Toast. With all the Oreo topping, it tasted more like a cookies and cream dessert than a tiramisu. I would pick a different sweet item if I were to return. It's nice to have more asian fusion brunch in this part of the bay. While the prices are quite high compared to the quality of the food, I would be willing to return and try some of their other dishes. read more

The service, the food, the vibes - everything is great here. I've taken almost everyone I know here for lunch or dinner and they've all agreed it's fantastic. My dad LOVES spicy food and he gets the Thai spicy - it's perfect for him (I almost died trying his food but I'm happy he's happy). While everything is good here, their chicken wing, pad see ew, and crab fried rice are all EXCELLENT. I hope she remembered us for good reasons! We ordered the omurice and chicken and waffle breakfasts. The Thai part of the fusion brunch wasn't immediately obvious to us--but the food looked and tasted good. I ordered my 1-year-old kid the fresh fruit side. She did not care for it and preferred my omurice plate. We went on a Tuesday morning. It was quite slow. Our food took some time to come out. Reading the reviews, I can understand some of the frustrations. I experienced a similar level of service, but it didn't bother me. They were accommodating with each of my requests. I'm not sure why but Time Thai is slowly going downhill. I have tried supporting this small business since their soft opening last year. Service was almost non-existent when we came here for Easter Brunch. The staff did not come check up on us once to refill our waters, see if we needed any utensils or napkins or to even let us know that our food was on the way. The strangest part was everyone's dish trickled out slowly. My hunch is that the tip is automatically included for large parties and they didn't really care. I really wanted to love this place, but the food was just not it. Out of our spread we enjoyed the beef noodle soup the most, especially when you add the jalapeno peppers to it. Service was great, and quick. We came in about an hour before closing, and the food came in really quick. The whole place looked so nice, and the staff were very friendly. I ordered the chicken and waffles. My husband ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and my daughter ordered the beck plate (fried chicken drizzled with some sweet and sour sauce, served with egg and rice). I'm very picky with my "breaded chicken", because most of the time when you order from other places, you get more breading than the chicken, and the whole thing is just bland..but ALL our orders from this place were so good and flavorful!! So funny how I frequent this shopping center but never thought about trying this place until recently..and I'm really glad we did. We came here for brunch after reading positive online reviews and OH BOY were we pleasantly surprised. The location is great, next to a bunch of stores with plenty of parking. We were able to make a reservation in person. The ambiance is wonderful, it's a small cozy restaurant with a family feel and the staff were really nice. The food was next level, I'm vegetarian and they had plenty of options - their pancakes were 10/10 delicious. My partner is not, and also loved their signature BECK. We loved the food so much that we actually went back (and invited a friend along) for dinner at their Pleasanton location. We came around 11AM on a Sunday and were sat right away! The parking lot is fairly big as well so we had no trouble finding parking. The staff were friendly and I LOVED the food here!! The food came out pretty quick within 10 minutes. I got the Tom Yum Scrambled which is essentially scrambled eggs with shrimp and tom yum sauce and a side of crispy potatoes and bread. This is my go-to place in Livermore for Thai food. My friend first brought us to the Pleasanton one and we were so happy one was open in Livermore. My favorite go to is the khao soi. Rarely do places offer vegetarian versions with so many toppings. Their curry and fried rice are also good but portions of those are a bit smaller. But unsurprisingly it didn't take a lot of time for Time Thai to open their 2nd location in Livermore just 3 years after opening their first location in downtown Pleasanton. Time Thai has always been Thai fusion but the Livermore location does it to another level since they have an awesome weekend brunch with bottomless mimosas as well as combinations of breakfast food like waffles with Thai fried chicken or mixing crab meat into eggs benedict. Imagine my confusion when the Livermore location opened up and my wife said let's have weekend brunch and she led me to a Thai place. But honestly, it really works. Come to think of it I've always liked Thai-style crispy wok fried eggs (kai dao) and add that to a waffle and you've upgraded breakfast. But Time Thai takes it further. Everything from fish benedict and carbonara to their signature dish the B.E.C.K. Which is Thai holy "B"asil + fried "E"gg + "C"hicken served with rice. Not sure what the K stands for. Ask for the tray of hot sauce and bam "K"razy party in your mouth. Most of the food was amazing. My favorite has to be their khao soi, which is northern-style curry stew with two different types of noodles. I always get the beef which I think is brisket. This is a must get. That said, I felt that two of their dishes didn't meet expectations. The som tum set consisting of papaya salad with sticky rice that is served with chicken was okay. I think this looks better than it tastes like everything on Instagram. Also the omurice aka omelet rice fell a little flat. It wasn't really omg-ur-rice. Also, true to their name, Time Thai does take some time for their food to be prepared. It's great that it's fresh but just be warned if you are in a hurry. Slow. Time. Thai. We ordered the Truffle Tots, Chicky Tiny Waffle, Chicken Omurice, Tiramisu French Toast with the upgrade to a complete meal with scrambled eggs and bacon, and the Stir-fried Eggplant with Pork. Our favorites were the tots (super crispy) and the french toast (not super sweet so if you're not a huge fan of sweet breakfasts, this is a solid option to share)! The Chicky Tiny Waffle was alright, but we are not huge fans of maple syrup so we'd probably order a savory fried chicken dish next time. We've never had creamy eggs than the egg on the omurice. The complete meal isn't quite worth the extra cost with two thin slices of bacon and scrambled eggs. The eggplant was good, but next time we'd order it with dinner instead of brunch. I really enjoyed their fried chicken, it is similar in flavor to the popcorn chicken at a boba restaurant. I can't wait to return to try some of their more traditional Thai dishes! read more

I made plans to visit my bestie who lives in Livermore. I had a small window until my next work meeting, so I suggested we grab brunch some place in the area. Time Thai was located at at a big strip mall with ample parking. We got to the restaurant a few minutes after it opened at 10am. Although I did join their online waitlist through Yelp just to be on the safe side, we were obviously the first customers. The restaurant was cute and simple and had an appetizing food menu. They served cocktails as well. I can see it being a brunch hit, hence the waitlist. Overall service was great. Staff members were friendly and ready to assist. I appreciated that the food came out in a timely manner. As well it should have since we were the only customers at the restaurant for a majority of our time there. We ordered the truffle tots to start. My bestie got the duck eggs benedict, and I got the fried chicken omurice. We shared everything and loved it all. I especially enjoyed my fried chicken omurice, which was so savory and flavorful. The fried chicken thigh was perfectly crispy on the outside and had juicy, tender meat. Tried this Thai place for the first time. It was 8pm on Saturday night and it was empty. They had many to do orders on the counter ready to be picked up. Beautiful restaurant with good customer service. Food was average I have to say as compared to other Thai restaurants. We were given water as soon as we all sat down. Soup was 9/10. We all loved it.
