They have very interesting lattes that I have never had before. I think it was lavender hojicha and lemon bar latte or something. They are both good! Hot chicken sandwich and salmon Nordic or something they are both good too. Nice quick service and the wait time was like less than 5 minutes so pretty quick even though this place was busy. Next time I want to try more sweet stuff and baked goods
I met friends here for breakfast and was super excited to try a dish. The pictures and videos all look so appetizing. I love eggs benedict and saw the Nordic Benedict.(I think this may be a weekend item?) Pure heaven in every bite! The graham cracker latte was so good as well. Everyone was very nice and super attentive. The servers came by frequently to clear dishes and refill our waters. There is indoor seating and plenty of outdoor seating with some parts covered and umbrellas which is wonderful when it's warm and bright out. I'll be back to try other goodies!

Tried the seasonal breakfast burrito on my latest visit and the chorizo was very flavorful and I loved the crispy cheese cooked on the sides. Chili crisps were okay, I liked the chipotle sauce more. Surprisingly spicy but I really enjoyed it. Loved my seasonal hojicha lavender latte but my date's lemon latte was not it. Order at the front and choose your own seat and they bring your order to you. Love that they've kept the copious amount of patio seating after Covid.

Love this spot! They have such a delicious unique menu, with lots of vegetarian options, and fun seasonal options. It gets quite busy and can be a bit noisy inside, but its def worth stopping by! I love their different lattes and their lavender lemonade. The lavender lemon cookie is soo good! The sandwiches are always great, and its a great spot to stop at for a quick brunch.
Came by for lunch with friends. the staff was helpful in putting together a table for us all outside, it was so nice that day but it ended up being too much of a hassle b/c some of us would've been out in the sun even w/the umbrellas so we were able to snag the large table in the back, inside. I enjoyed my sandwich, the food is delicious. It's a nice casual spot, you go up and order at the counter, then they bring your food to you.

The vibe was busy this time but over all very cute, and relaxing. Great colors really using the light to make the tiny space feel welcoming and open.

We were worried about seating, but people are pretty respectful and leave when they're done eating. I appreciated the little fly fan deterrents that were placed on the tables. Overall, the food is good and aesthetic. Can't wait to come back!
So on our way to SF this weekend we stopped in Livermore for a quick bite. We found this place, nice ambience downtown, and had easy parking close. For brunch my wife had the avocado toast, she absolutely loved it. I had the ham cheese and pickles...Now, if you love pickles, like I do...this is for you. If not, do not get. But for me, I loved my sandwich and loved the pickles. For drinks we got some lemonades, mine regular, my wife lavender. So refreshing...we want to come back to try the other items, since we pass through ever so often we will try. Def recommend.
The Press is a cute little artisan cafe in downtown Livermore. I ordered a cold brew with a splash of almond milk + the turkey pesto panini. The cold brew was great! The turkey pesto panini was good, but was more on the lighter side in terms of overall taste. I think it would have been better if paired with a side of tomato soup to dip it in. I came on a weekday so there was easy street parking and no wait, but by the time I left there was a line out the door. They do bring your order to your chosen table and also clear it afterwards.

This is a great downtown spot to grab a brew and a bite. It can get pretty busy in the mornings, so plan accordingly, as there can sometimes be a line out the door. The inside has a very open-concept, modern vibe that feels clean, comfortable, and welcoming. There's a good amount of seating indoors, along with some outdoor seating and umbrellas if you want to enjoy the nice weather. The food and drink menu is fairly extensive, and prices are on the moderate side, so it's worth taking a look at all of your options to find something that fits your taste and appetite. Everything I've tried so far has been tasty, satisfying, and filling. If you're dining in and order their house drip coffee, they provide a coffee mug, and the coffee is self-serve along with the available extras. If you decide to take your drip coffee to go, just keep in mind that they only offer one size of to-go cup, and it's not particularly large. If you prefer a bigger cup of coffee, you may be a little disappointed. The staff have always been friendly, welcoming, and professional during my visits. With all of the other options available in Livermore, this is definitely a place worth checking out if you're looking for a good spot downtown to grab some food and a drink. read more
The Press Cafe is such a gem in downtown Livermore. Don't let the long lines discourage you... they move fast, and by the time you order and sit down, your food is already out. This time I had the poblano panini, so full of flavor. We also got the queso egg tacos the blue tortilla is perfect with such robust flavor. Unfortunately I didn't get there in time for the mochi donuts, but I did have the mochi elote cake. Wow, so good. I had to get another slice to go. The brownie cake is rich and moist. The parfait was fresh, with fruit and a honey drizzle. The lavender cookie was delicious, with a very unique flavor profile The only miss was the fresh toast it seemed a bit overcooked. Overall, this place is a gem. There's a parking garage nearby, too. read more

I order to go and the service was great easy to order and the staff is so friendly, even though they were so busy the place was full and the service seems so nice. On our drive to San Francisco we stopped by Livermore to have lunch. I found The Press on Yelp, it had some good reviews. The coffee was delicious so was the gluten free donut but the sandwiches we ordered we weren't too thrilled about them. I got a breakfast Sammy with sausage but the sausage tasted weird and I didn't like the tomato jam on it. I should have said to not use it. My husband got a ham and cheese grilled sandwich and said it was ok. Not great but not bad either. Location is good, ambiance is good and customer service is good. Friendly and attentive staff. Overall an ok love to eat when in the area. read more

Stopped by after a hike in the area around 1 PM, and I was definitely hungry for lunch! This place is a popular spot, but luckily we were able to get a table right away. The ordering system is casual--you place your order at the counter, and then they bring your food to your table. They had some weekend and seasonal specials, which was a nice touch, and the café has both indoor and outdoor seating. I loved that they even had blankets available outside for anyone wanting to stay a little warmer. By the afternoon, there weren't many pastries left, so unfortunately I didn't get to try any of their gluten-free options. What I ordered: a lavender lemonade and their Lizzy's Grits special. My friends got the chia pudding with a side of bacon and a latte, and a turkey panini with a side salad. Our food came out in about 15 minutes, and everything looked fresh and delicious. I ate every bite of my grits special--it was perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. I also tried their hot sauce, but it was more vinegar-forward than I like, so I'm glad I didn't put it all over my meal. This is definitely a cute spot in downtown Livermore. Parking can be tricky, so I'd recommend using a nearby garage (it's free). I'll definitely be bookmarking this café and would love to try other menu items or visit their other locations when I'm in the area. read more
Cute Spot with Great Drinks and Friendly Service We stopped by The Press and enjoyed the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. There's seating both inside and outside -- we chose to sit outdoors, which was really cute and relaxing. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and guided us through the menu with great recommendations. I had the avocado + egg, which was fresh but would've been better with a poached egg instead of hard boiled, and a little more citrus for balance. The caramel latte was delicious -- probably my favorite part! The affogato was also tasty, but the ice cream-to-coffee ratio felt off -- there was so much ice cream I had to eat some just to pour the coffee in. My husband had the peach summer melt panini and loved the flavors, but it was a bit bread-heavy, with two slices in the middle that didn't have any filling between them. Overall, it's a charming spot with creative options, delicious drinks, and a staff that really makes you feel welcome. Just a few tweaks and it would be an easy go-to! read more
We love visiting The Press, and the Livermore location is hands-down our favorite -- it's nestled right in the heart of downtown, which gives it a much better vibe compared to the Pleasanton spot tucked into a market plaza with views of the parking lot. This visit did not disappoint -- everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. We tried the Albacore Protein Salad, which featured Hobbs wild-caught tuna salad, baby arugula, a Burroughs farm egg, radish, carrot/cabbage slaw, tomato, onion sprouts, and a lemon pepper vinaigrette. It was super fresh and perfectly balanced -- light but satisfying. The Beet & Quinoa Salad was equally impressive with organic arugula, red and golden beets, quinoa, a seed medley, Laura Chenel goat cheese, and a side of house balsamic vinaigrette. The flavors were bright and earthy with just the right touch of sweetness from the orange segments. We also shared the Turkey Pesto Panini on Acme organic wholewheat sourdough -- Hobbs nitrite-free roast turkey, tomato, provolone, brie, house pesto, and aioli. It was absolutely fabulous -- warm, melty, and full of flavor. And for the sweet finish -- my son devoured the seasonal blueberry mochi pancakes. They were fluffy, warm, lightly sweet, and had that delightful chewy texture that only mochi brings. The food and service were both too good -- friendly, fast, and welcoming. Lovely place to get brunch! Came around noon on Sunday for the first time and while there were a-lot of people, the line moved fast and a table opened up after we ordered. Got the nordic toastini, bee sting salami panini press, and a graham cracker latte. Water is self serve. Everything was so delicious and good!!!!! The toastini is basically like a knox bagel but with toast. It is super refreshing and aesthetic to look at. The bee sting salami panini had hot honey drizzled on it and had melty cheese and salami inside. Paired with a side of tomato soup made this such a savory delicious meal!! The graham cracker latte was also very tasty and visually appealing! I loved the espresso taste and the honey and cinnamon taste! Overall I would definitely come back because this place was really good! Usually I love to try different menu items when I visit new places but I think I might come back and order the bee sting panini again because it was so good! Loved the outdoor seating options, parking was easy because there is a free parking garage nearby, and you can walk around downtown livermore afterwards if you wanted to. read more

Great little spot. 5 minute walk from the train station. Visited during the holidays and decor is very festive. Food was great. Toast a little hard so it was difficult to eat with fork and knife, but no problem holding those tasty babies. #spicemeister approved. read more

It was packed on a Sunday morning, which is to be expected. I'd advise having one person grab a table while the other waits in line. It worked perfect for our small group of 2. The staff and employees were so kind even though they were very busy. I had a few nice conversations with them during our visit and they were very nice people. The avocado and egg toastini along with the iced matcha (I LOVE pebble ice) were delicious. I'd definitely come back! Overall a great experience. read more

As we walked up to the place, I felt a nice Sunday brunch kinda vibe even though it was Monday. We couldn't find parking in the immediate area, so we drove around and ended up parking a couple blocks away. I guess a lot of people took time off for the holidays. The girl are the counter was nice and took our orders confirming everything we ordered. We ordered the panini with 1/2 Turkey Pesto and 1/2 Might Maitake Mushroom with side of organic sitting mix salad, and the Apple and Arugula Salad. It's so nice that they offer half and half selection option on the panini because we get to taste 2 flavors in one order. Even though it was very busy, we were able to find seats at the big table shared with other customers. The drip coffee offered 2 flavors... Dark roast and other option was like honey something... Of course I opted for the dark roast... Lol. We also got some cold water at the self service station. Coffee was very good! In about 5 minutes, they brought out food. I got to taste the Apple and Arugula Salad which was very refreshing. The light dressing with apples mixed with arugula... Yummmm! It was definitely better than my side salad, but I loved both of my panini selections. The flavors of the Maitake mushroom with melting cheese and the crisped bread with their panini press was delicious! The other sandwich selection, turkey pesto, was just perfect! The pesto flavors with melting cheese and the delicate turkey slices were just exquisite. This is a MUST sandwich. There's no mistake about their name! It's definitely The Press, panini press that is.... I will definitely be returning here when I'm in town next town. The only problem is I have to decide whether to order the same thing or try something else like one of their Sammies which are supposed to be good. Well... I won't with about it until I'm back.
