I was on the hunt for a breakfast burrito and this place came up on the search list. It's on Main Street but it has a small parking lot in front. They have seating outside and tables inside for dining. The breakfast burrito was not like any other burrito I've had before. I think they put a mix of spinach and lettuce in it. I feel like it could've been more flavorful but it does come with what looks like a homemade salsa. 4.5 stars overall! Came across this new local coffee shop since I was in the area. Very easy to find with a big parking lot and lots of outdoor and indoor seating as well. Customer service was top notch. I was warmly greeted by Navi who took the time to explain their menu and made great recommendations since it was my first time there. The space itself is cozy and relaxed, easy to settle into whether you're grabbing breakfast or lingering over a drink. I tried the mazapan latte and it was so good. Lightly sweet with that soft nutty flavor, but not heavy. It felt thoughtful, like they really know how to balance the flavors. For breakfast, the croissant sandwich was fresh and flaky, not stiff or bready. The egg was soft and the cheese melted just right. Koffee Time is such a lovely cafe with really good vibes. It feels welcoming and cozy, and I love that it is a locally owned business. The space is bright, clean, and a great spot to grab a quick coffee or sit down for breakfast in Pleasanton downtown. The food was excellent. Today was my second time coming to this cute cafe in the heart of downtown Pleasanton. If it wasn't for the sidewalk sign placed months ago that I stumbled across during a stroll, I would not have known this place existed. It is tucked away on the side of a parking lot off the main road. So unless you're looking for it, one would easily not even realize it exists. This is a very quaint location with the few patio seats with umbrellas situated outside and equally few number of seating spaces inside. Upon arriving, the front ordering counter includes a pastry and a bakery case. There are a number of breakfast and lunch sandwiches and other dishes to order from to go with your handcrafted espresso drink. Prices are average, however, portion sizes are underwhelming when it comes to their menu items. Staff has always been friendly and prompt. With a few dining spaces available both inside and outside, this isn't necessarily a place for large gatherings. It is perfect for a quick catch up with a friend or quick pick up to go. So if you're looking for something outside of the ordinary chain cafe, Koffee Time is worth a visit! read more

One of the volunteers at my work had been bugging me to try Koffee Time, so one afternoon I decided I needed a break from my desk. I'm so glad I did because Koffee Time is phenomenal. That first visit, I ordered a dark chocolate and sea salt cookie, and a hot chai latte. As I lifted the chai to take that first sip, the warm aroma of all the spices enveloped me as a warm hug. And the cookie? Best of the best! Koffee Time has since become my go-to for lunches or caffeine runs. The staff is super friendly, the cafe is inviting and clean, and the food and drinks ate wonderful. Yes, it's not quite on Main Street, and the view is of the TrueValue parking lot. UPDATE: Still 5 stars. My wife went after Pleasanton farmer's market today - just days after I went for first time this week (review below). Got the drink from the Valentine's Day specials board which has rose petals in it. She loved it. She showed me the rose petals, rinsed the beautiful paper cup and it's drying in our dish rack for future use. A beautiful morning, she said people were using the outdoor tables. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Yes! 100%. I agree with the 5 star reviews. It's a cliche, but: HIDDEN GEM. There. I said it. It's tucked away but has table seating inside for your hidden meetup, or a change of scenery while telecommuting. From the street I couldn't see there was outdoor seating too! But there is!!! Super cute! There were at least 4 sets of outdoor tables and chairs if not 5 or 6. Vanilla latte and chocolate croissant to go. - Vanilla latte was reasonably priced and "money!" So good. Love love love the to-go cup!!! - Chocolate croissant was fresh, the pastry had the right chew, as did the chocolate. I like mine "cold" (not heated) so I can get the bite / toothiness I like out of the chocolate. I got it. There was a cashier-coffee maker and a kitchen person. Later a person who seemed like an owner returned and one of the first things she did was check whether the cashier-coffee maker needed help or not. The lovely, smart, bright, helpful, PERSONABLE coffee maker was not backed up, but I really appreciate this teamwork and emphasis on getting drinks and orders out in a reasonable time. I do not return to places where the workers find ways not to work, or focus inwardly and away from a service focus. Take a look at the specials board to the right as you face the counter. Right now it's in Valentine's Day mode and those themed drinks sounded so DELICIOUS! I'm frugal, I get what I want out of coffee at home. We have an espresso machine, an espresso pods machine, a drip coffee maker, Aero press, French press, a couple Italian cooktop espresso makers, a Turkish coffee maker and a coffee pod machine. In other words, enough variety to not get bored and be economical. But I will 100% return when out and about, and make this a destination as well. I will tell my wife this is a great alternative and preferred "work space" to the chains and I will tell friends and coworkers. Spread the word, we got a good one here! read more

The location may be a little hard to find but it is located with very convenient parking next to True Value Hardware in the middle of downtown Pleasanton. It's a very nice presentation inside with many delectable treats and common and stylish coffees. I only purchased the chocolate, white chocolate filled puff pastry and an americano. I was excited to come across this gem on Yelp! A bit hidden in a parking lot in downtown Pleasanton. I've been here a couple times now. EATS: -torta: (5/5) So good, it's packed, and they're generous w/the avocado portion. Hubby and I both enjoyed it and would get it again. Pro-tip: ask for a side of chiles en vinagre (pickled peppers). -breakfast burrito: (2/5). We liked the torta so much on the first visit, on the next visit, hubby got their breakfast burrito but was not a fan of it :( I noticed it was a bit on the small side, but more importantly, the chorizo flavor wasn't good. Not sure what kind they use. He didn't like the chipotle mayo they use, wasn't for his taste. There was like raw spinach in the burrito. seemed out of place like it didn't go w/the burrito and more like a filler item. the salsa on the side came in a little to-go cup. I get that they need to make a batch ahead of time and refrigerate it, but hubby couldn't pour out the salsa onto his burrito like a traditional salsa. it kinda slid out as a whole piece and held the shape of the to-go cup, almost like a salsa jello. Hubby used a fork to scoop it out. It was just tomatoes and onions, no chiles in it so no heat. I would guess maybe to make it non-spicy for the Pleasanton palate. -burrata toast: (5/5) generous on the burrata, and the pesto and the balsamic glaze were very good. I would order this again! -Mexican mocha (5/5): got this on my first visit and enjoyed it very much. had to get it iced b/c I much prefer iced drinks :) I don't normally like chocolate in my coffee drinks but this one was very good. - Candy Hearts Latte (3/5): I wanted to try a different drink since I liked the Mexican mocha a lot. I tried one of their Valentines drinks on the pretty board. It had raspberry, lavender, and vanilla. I got it iced. Lattes are made of espresso but this one was not, so it's not a true latte. I asked and was told it's made with cold brew. so I would change the name to Candy Hearts Cold Brew. It was a bit on the sweet side w/all the syrups. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I wish they had a few more outdoor tables, there was just 2 on the day we went and it seemed nice outside. On our first visit, they weren't that busy so I felt the customer service was better and were able to ask more questions than the following visit, when they were more busy and young kids working up front. I found myself a new spot for Koffee and pastries. I stumbled upon this cafe by accident, tucked away but it's worth the find. Newer looking, clean, indoor seating and outdoor seating available. I had their regular medium roast and an almond croissant. Both good! The ambience is pleasant, sweet, genuine service and I did a speed test on their WiFi and it was at nearly 400Mbps. That's a lot faster than most others. They also have a full breakfast menu and lunch menu too. read more

Great new neighborhood coffee shop located in the heart of downtown Pleasanton. It's got a nice space and the service is really friendly. I only stopped by for a coffee, but they have breakfast and lunch items. I really want to try their breakfast burrito but on my way to meet up with family for lunch. Maybe next time. Based off a recommendation from the folks there, I got the cafe de olla. It was really good coffee and it wasn't too sweet. Koffee Time is a new coffee cafe in the bustling downtown Pleasanton. It's located near Inkling's. It has its own parking lot if you can't find any parking on the street. When we stepped inside, I was immediately hit with the smell of delicious food and coffee. Wish we ate here for brunch but will save that for another time! I ordered a mazapan latte which I honestly don't how to describe. It did have some peanuts in it but it was good. My friend got an iced cookie butter latte. This is one of the holiday drinks. They didn't have cold brew so they asked if they can make it with espresso. Turned out to be delicious. I saw a wide array of pastries and a case full of cake slices. I asked the barista if the pastries were from somewhere but she told me they're all made in-house. If I wasn't so full from brunch I would have bought some. Anyway, I would definitely be back for some good coffee and have to try their food menu and pastries. Great to have another coffee spot downtown. read more

Let me preface by saying I was not having the best day and was getting a bit hangry when my husband decided to stop for coffee and chose Koffee Time. I had never been nor even heard of this coffee shop but was happy to see they served food as well as coffee. I initially ordered the avocado toast (looks good) but quickly changed to the burrata toast and man oh man was it a good choice. That burrata toast is the best burrata toast I have ever eaten. The bread was delicious, the presentation 10/10, and the taste was amazing. It definitely cured my hanger. Great quality coffee, great service, and unique drinks every month. I am a huge fan of their February special which is a shaken espresso with raspberry and mocha (I might be wrong on the mocha, I forgot), but it is seriously one of the best coffee's I've ever had and the owner's happily make it for me even when it's not February lol. All of the workers are friendly, and happy to be there. Just a great environment, my only complaint is I wish the interior was a little bigger so I could feel comfortable hanging out in there doing my homework or reading. The wife went in and ordered for me (i.e., no ambiance notes this time). Iced latte was excellent: smooth, not bitter, creamy, strong, not watered down. Cost around $5 (Everything just seems more expensive these days, unfortunately- recently, i saw a gas station trying to charge $6.98(+9/10) for unleaded!). But this place was good! No coffee out is cost-effective, but the experience was still decent. I would go again if the desire for coffee is strong and I am in the area.
