I rated you 5 stars before and believe me when I say you're still my favorite Boba Tea place in the Trivalley area. Today, I will be very honest. The last 3 times we were there, I feel the people making the drinks are not putting enough effort as before. I'm not sure if you made a slight adjustment to your tie guan tea and Taiwanese milk teas. The tea is not as bold as before and topping are hardly any. My whole family go there twice a week and we know the difference when there's a slight change in our favorite drinks. So, I'm afraid you lost a couple customers due to that. I personally would still go back, but I can't get 2 others to go with me. Before you guys lose more followers, you might want to look into changing it back to old ways. Afterall, I want you guys to thrive. So, hopefully this review will help you guys enhance & attract more customers. Thanks for the consideration.
Really wonderful tea. The flavor of the tea truly comes out in each cup and the recipes for the non tea drinks are excellent as well! Jasmine milk tea- ordered with the fresh taro $1 (super great! Smeared on bottom and on the sides, small chunks) with cubed boba (see through, good boba) ~$9 total 7/5 Strawberry milk tea- wow. Even this was outstandingly delicious. Some puree, used some real strawberries. Through the milk and strawberry the tea flavor came through delightfully. Aiyu jelly - a little tough tangy jelly. 7/5 ~$9 Mango passion smoothie - you can choose with tea or without. We chose without for the little one, but it was amazing also! Well balanced not too sweet. Real fruit used. 7/5 Ordered in a kiosk, very busy 2 staff at closing time. Hard to talk to them, but they made some dang good drinks, so who cares?! lol. Small sipping area, maybe 8-12 chairs, loud non offensive music. Cute set up.
Great beverage options! Went to grab a pizza across the way and saw this place - glad I stopped in! Got the Strawberry smoothie (no caffeine) and it was refreshing. Was happy they had no caffeine options! But be careful with the sugar... you can order by percentage from 0-100%. Staff were all super cool... they were kind enough to let me know they have a shop in SJ (where I live) :) It is a small place.. so take out is probably the best option. And parking was easy.... Although it was late in the day and most of the other places were closed. Would I go back? Yes! Especially on a hot day!
Came here on a Wednesday afternoon. There were some people waiting for their orders outside. They had a promotion on the sesame drinks. It was BOGO. I didn't like how we had to order both drinks the same. But glad that they let me have one with oatmilk and one regular milk. They asked us for our sugar level but didn't asked for the ice. I wish I could get less ice . The taste was good . But just too much ice for me. I will remember to change the ice level next time. Also the straw was too short for the cup . My lips got cut by the lid a few times. That needs to change.
I think there's more quality boba shops than TP Tea, but admittedly this is one of the better places in the area! I have felt this way about their locations in Cupertino and Milpitas as well. Overall, solid place to get drinks but nothing to write home about. Parking is also a pain in the butt at times in this plaza. Personally, I also feel indifferent towards their TGY milk tea and strawberry milk tea, which I know are touted as their best drinks. I have tried these various times but it just hasn't grown on me. I enjoy the fruit, non milky teas here much more! RECS: + Passionfruit green tea ($6.75) is perfectly tart! + Lychee fruit tea ($6.95) is light and subtle, very refreshing. The lychee "cubes" are interesting because they resemble boba more than anything lychee-like
Not my favorite TP Tea location... though I adore their Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea, their new Yuzu menu (which I assume is seasonal) was not great. The yuzu overpowered the tea a lot personally. If you come here, I highly recommend the Velvet Lychee Milk Tea, Strawberry Milk Tea, ANY Passion Fruit drink, and of course the Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea. This shop is also very small with minimal seating and a couple outdoor tables. Parking is plentiful though!
I took my son here last Sunday as he has never been to the store, but have tried a drink previously that someone gifted him. He enjoyed the drink and finally had a chance to come to the store in person. He got the strawberry boba drink and really liked it. I got the taro latte, it was fine, but I think I like the iced version better. Overall, we would come back again. It's a cute store with some seating outside as well. It is located next to The Press cafe.
I visited this TP Tea once about a couple months ago. Ordering was easy as you just use the kiosk which there was two in store. I ordered the Strawberry Milk Tea with boba. There's a bar table by the window with some seats. The wait was about 10 minutes before I received my drink. Not too bad. My drink was a nice strawberry flavor with a good balance of sweetness. It was a slushy texture, which I liked! The boba was bouncy and soft at the same time. I enjoyed my drink. I would definitely come here again the next time I'm in the area. :)
Excited to try treasure taro milk tea ($6.75) which is a milk tea with taro and mango pudding. The drinks come default in 22oz sizes. Parking lot can get quite busy, so you maybe need to park further. The store is clean, a few tables and couple outside table. The tea was fragrant, love the fresh taro. The drink was delicious. Luckily there was only two people in line at the ordering at the kiosk, but were taking some time so I decided to order through snackpass. Service was somewhat slow. Unfortunately I should have waited at the kiosk since those orders came out quicker than the app order, waited about additional 10 minutes compared to the customers that ordered wt the kiosk.
This TP Tea is located in a shopping center that's sort of on the outskirts of the more busier areas around Stoneridge in all directions. It's very much on a stretch of road that has quite a bit of traffic flowing through there at all times but most people who are coming here specifically for something wouldn't even give it a second thought. It is just a shopping center right before the Philz Coffee behind it down the road in this direction, so if you're at Philz, you've gone too far. Again, nestled in a somewhat quieter shopping center, albeit, filled with various eating options of its own, so certainly a few things in here that might be of interest to others. This TP Tea is similar to the other locations in which the main ordering system is directly through the kiosk that's to the right wall, while the waiting area is to the left side and perhaps outside for those who prefer outdoorsey wait. They appear to be staffed pretty well, as there were several people working the front area mixing drinks and so-on. Service here was mediocre at best. When we came in, nobody even greeted us, they just sort of stared for a second then went back to making their drinks, but I guess it's fine since all the ordering is done directly through the kiosks, and their menu are displayed on the monitors above the counter. Most of the counter space is just for drink orders, so this is just the employees main objectives most likely. When we came in they were already pretty busy too, with 4-5 people/groups ahead of us. We went out to walk around the area since the aforementioned 4-5 orders ahead of us anyways, so took a nice stroll to check out the shopping center and the next door one as well it's connected to that's slightly more different than this more eating spot center. It's a nice quiet area outside of the one BBQ joint we passed by since there was a game going on. All-in-all, the walk took about 9 minutes to go around and then back at the store. Once we got there though, it seems that our drinks still weren't quite ready, but everybody else ahead were gone so they did at least get through the queue before us. Waited about another minute before our drinks were finally ready. They didn't really say anything when we went to get the drinks, just stared at us, we looked at the receipt ourselves and took the drinks and left. Just a very odd service experience. However, the drinks we got were just fine and as good as any of the other TP Teas I've been to here, though, nice to know this one is here in our part of the East Bay since they're mostly in the South Bay and then certain parts of South SF teetering on Milbrae areas. Overall, a straight forward experience at this TP Tea, albeit, perhaps a bit slower, and service, well, who am I kidding, what service? The drinks were made well and tasted good, all that really matters in the end as the wait wasn't terrible at least.
Stumbled upon this tea place after visiting other merchants in the area. The line was long of people waiting for their drinks. You can order online or kiosk and I ordered via mobile. So many options to choose from and got a little overwhelmed. You can also choose level of sweetness which is a nice touch. Got the mango drink which was decent and would be open to try other things while in the area and will order ahead.
Boba The fruit tea was really good here! Fresh fruit was used in the tea. The fruit tea tasted good however the boba was just okay and there wasn't anything special about the boba that was used. However more than the milk tea the fruit tea was better here in my opinion! Ambiance There is a parking lot that is right in front in a shopping mall. There isn't too many spots to sit down in the store to drink but the workers were nice and made the boba pretty quickly!
High-quality, premium Taiwanese tea. They offer a wide variety of drinks, including fruit teas, cheese foam, milk teas, and matcha. Ordering is self-service through a kiosk even though they were out of some drinks and boba during my visit. I ordered the Velvet Osmanthus Fresh Milk Tea and really enjoyed it. It was rich yet light, with a fragrant floral note similar to jasmine, but more subtle and distinct. I'd definitely come back for this drink since it's quite unique.

tp tea does NOT stand for toilet paper folks...it means taiwan professional. they are linked to that taiwanese brand that always gatekeeps inventing boba or something. well we're in AMERICA buddy so aint nobody claiming nothing. FREEDOM RAHHHH baristas are alright. small shop so wait outside. they place their drinks heytea/chicha style (in the lines). we got the golden osmanthus lemonade, tieguyan milk tea, and lychee aloe. MMMMM that stuff SLAPS. MMM better than chicha. golden osmanthus was so good and had a good amount of toppings and that paired so well with lemonade. tieguyan was DELISH like perfectly flavorful and creamy. lychee aloe was okay, flavor was lighter and very um lychee-like but i like strong flavors so it wasn't my favorite. overall would come back read more

Boba The fruit tea was really good here! Fresh fruit was used in the tea. The fruit tea tasted good however the boba was just okay and there wasn't anything special about the boba that was used. One of my favs in Pleasanton! - order ahead on Snackpass save yourself the wait during peak times and earn rewards towards free drinks - orange tea, 3q are my go tos! - you can actually taste the tea flavors - not overly sweet I usually do 50% and that is fine - not a lot of seating here read more
When the milk tea craving hits, TP Tea is my go-to spot. You can collect and even gift points when you order through the Snackpass app. Those points add up fast and you can redeem them for a free drink (always a win). What I love most is that you can actually taste the tea itself in every drink. The faves: ~TGY Family Milk Tea for the best bang for your buck when it comes to toppings (coffee jelly, boba, pudding) ~Jasmine Green Milk Tea is the classic for when I can't decide what to get ~Treasure Taro Milk Tea with pudding because the fresh taro paste just slaps ~Strawberry Matcha Latte for when I'm feeling a little extra - it's pricey at around $7, but totally worth it I also really appreciate that you can customize the sweetness and ice level on all their drinks. The location's super convenient with plenty of parking, and there are a few small outdoor tables if you want to sip and chill for a bit. Service is fast and efficient, so even when it's busy, you're not waiting long. read more

the BESTT TPT location :)) I love coming here for a sweet treat and will never get tired of their drinks. Pretty small, definitely not a sit down spot more of a grab and go. My favorite is the TGY family milk tea 80% sweetness as someone who usually keeps their drinks at normal sweetness. I would say the toppings make up for the 20% ! Parking is also pretty limited and the area can be a bit crowded at times. Overall would recommend 100% read more

We tried this boba place today. It is located beside a breakfast place called The Press. There are not enough parking in the area during busy time unfortunately. I tried their Mango ice tea with aiyu jelly. 30% sweetness. The sweetness level is very good. But the drink was just ok to me. There are not enough mango taste in my opinion. We also tried 3 of their egg waffles. Original, original chocolate and chocolate chocolate. Unfortunately I really don't think their recipe for the waffles were the best. I somehow can taste bean in their batter. Maybe it's just me. But the chocolate chocolate was floppy and not crispy at all. Overall I'm not too impressed with this place but maybe I ordered the wrong thing. They seem to be constantly busy while we were there. So that's good for them. read more

TP tea has been popping up all over the bay and I'm here for it! I was hoping to try the peach drink series but they were sold out :( it's seasonal and I think it's only during the summer. I highly recommend getting any of the peach drinks if it's available. The plaza has a parking lot and it doesn't get too crowded. We ordered off a machine. I opted for the matcha strawberry and I liked it! The matcha flavor wasn't too strong but I still liked the drink. My friend got the boba milk tea and she was a fan. read more
A few weeks ago I saw an ad at the store for one of their new offers and it was called Sesame Iron Goddess Cube Pearl Milk Tea, and I decided to try it. It was delicious! I typically ask for "no ice" because subjectively I always feel like the ice dilutes the flavor of my drinks a little bit, but this new drink didn't come with any "no ice" option unfortunately, so I had to go with "less ice". The milk tea still carried the delicious Iron Goddess tea flavor very well but at the same time conveyed a strong black sesame nuttiness; I really enjoyed it. To make it even more special, the topping was unique -- it was like regular boba but shaped into cubes. I would get this drink again. Delicious! Just beware that it was super difficult to spot their special menu because they didn't put it on their regular static screen, rather they put it on their rotating screen, so if you're not looking at the right time you probably won't see it. But apparently there were also other new-arrival items such as black sesame fresh milk and black sesame cloud frost. I haven't tried them yet but they sure sound yummy. read more

First time trying TP Tea and the tea is so good! I loved the flavor and smoothness of the Tie Guan Yin Ooloog Latte with oat milk. I added grass jelly and it was delicious. I'll definitely be back to try more teas. read more
Whenever I am in the Pleasanton area and craving matcha or milk tea. This is the spot I usually choose. In my opinion they have good matcha here and I always order a matcha drink whenever I go here. The service was okay. You just order through the kiosk and wait for your order to be made. The ambiance was okay, nothing too fancy. Very small inside. They have 2 kiosks to order through and they have like 3 chairs inside to sit while you wait for your order to be made. I overall give this place a solid 4/5 star review. If I lived closer I would be back more often. This place is definitely a a good place to try! read more
April 29 2025, Me and Hubby wanted to try something new so we saw this place and wanted to check it out. It's a very nice and cute little boba store. I got one of the most popular drink which was TGU Family Milk Tea it comes with pudding, oolong tea, coffee jelly and boba. We also got a Thai Creme Brûlée Tornado and both drinks are so good. I would recommend this place for boba lovers. It's better to try different boba spot then go to the same one you know. Drinks: 5/5 read more
I love their tea . It is nicely brewed with good quality tea leaves , then adding other ingredients to make different flavors . Excellent service . I have been to TP tea at different locations . For the first time I learn that I can add comment to my order . Instead of picking 25 % sweetness I can manually write 10 % . They would make it accordingly. Also for the first time I as told that I must down loaded the snack pass app on my phone to place order , in order to get my rewards free drink . At the Milpitas location I asked the front desk , she told me I only needed to enter my phone number at the end of the order . I suspected that was incorrect cause I have ordered more than 10 drinks already . It is located next to UPS store inside a small plaza with many other stores . Quality/Quantity - My daughter got: Jasmine Green Milk Tea with Boba - The boba was too small especially compared to their competitors. Other than that, my daughter says the drink was okay. Tie Guan Milk Tea - Same as above. Atmosphere - Small local tea business. Three outdoor tables which seats 6, but everyone takes their drinks to-go. Good job with all the signage, directions, communication, etc. See pictures. Plenty of mall parking, as the majority of the businesses today (Sunday) were closed. Open 7 days a week from 11:30am to 8:30pm; on Sundays they close at 6:30pm. Holiday hours differ, see my picture or Yelp. Service - Two self service Kiosk. Fairly busy when we got here. They just serviced a large party, and there were two more sets of customers inside sitting and waiting for their drinks. They still made the drinks fairly quickly. Price - $13.20; reasonably priced for what we got. Owner Comment - Congrats on your parent company's success since 2005. Congrats on your franchise location success since November of 2022. read more
We were in the area and decided to check this place out today and went with the Mango Matcha Latte. The presentation is really good with all the layers. Even though the matcha is not as strong as other matcha places, which it depends on people's preference, it's still super refreshing. Service was quick and the shop has a clean, chill vibe. Has self check out kiosk which make things a lot easier. Definitely adding this spot to my regular boba/matcha rotation. Prices are fair for the quality and the portion size is big enough that you definitely feel like you're getting your money's worth. This is my third time coming to this location and this time it was so packed people were standing outside waiting for their drink orders to be filled! I ordered a matcha tornado for both me and my girlfriend because we wanted to try the same thing and it was really good. They didn't have it available the last time we came by to try it because they were out of matcha so I'm hoping that they keep it well-stocked. I was told by another patron that the Thai tea tornado is just as good so I will have to try that next time.
