I am a long-time regular of this particular Gong Cha location since it opened in 2023. Every time I make an order, the tea tastes as it should, and more. Do you want to know why? The Neopets collab drew me in, definitely been a few years since I've visited a Gong Cha. I vaguely remember liking the wintermelon tea from here, now I think there's added basil in it? I think that'd be something I'd try another time. As it was the game of my childhood, I really wanted a Neopet blind box with my weekly treat of a boba. I generally always go for fruit teas, but the tea smell in this shop smelled really strong; I always assume that's the strong smell of black tea...so I felt like a milk tea this time. I ordered the AISHA: Black Milk Tea w/ Pearls, 70% sweetness. Service here was quick and super friendly despite it looking like a one man operation at the time I was there. It seemed like he was the owner as we chatted about the Neopet collaboration and how it's a very nostalgic thing. He said it's all been adults coming in to grab a blind box, no kids yet then. I am not that surprised as I was there purely for the nostalgia too. The straws there are the paper ones, used 2 to try to stab the top open and that was a fail... ended up using a reusable straw I had stashed in my car. I'd suggest stabbing the straw in store first as the straw can crumble a bit after a few attempts of poking it through the top. For the drink itself, I loved that there was a strong tea taste - would get it a little less sweet next time as the boba added a lot of sweetness to me. Boba was a bit overcooked as there wasn't much of a bite to it, but good flavor soaked in it. Final Thoughts: Collabs definitely are the way to go as it peaked my interest of Gong Cha again, been a while since I've gone and I'll definitely be back again to give other drinks a try. read more

This Gong Cha is the perfect place if you're looking for something quick and easy. In the heart of Downtown Dublin, it's conveniently located in the same plaza as Safeway and is close to many other stores (REI, Sprouts, Target, 99 Ranch, etc.). I wouldn't call anything extraordinary or standout, but I find the drinks at Gong Cha to be pretty reliable and consistent. My go-to used to be the Milk Foam Oolong until I ordered it one too many times. The Wintermelon Oolong with basil seeds has become my favorite as of late. I love that you can order ahead online or self-order from a kiosk. The service here is also very speedy and friendly. read more

I stopped in here hoping to catch the Peanuts promotion they were having. Sadly, I missed it. I got a matcha smoothie with almond milk anyway. You can order at a kiosk or you can order up front. I got my smoothie with 30% sweetened which was perfect. Not too overwhelming on the sweetness. Overall, the smoothie was okay for the price. I came to this location a few times now. More recently, I came here a couple of weeks ago to try one of their pumpkin flavored seasonal drinks! I ordered the Pumpkin Pie Milk Tea with Pearls and Milk Foam. It was good! I didn't taste as much pumpkin flavor as I expected, but I still liked it. Delicious! This Gong cha is consistently good unlike other locations I've been to. I think their drinks are perfect at 50% sweetness. I've ordered online multiple times here and it's always been ready on time. I really like their mochi waffles- it has great texture and flavor, especially when it's fresh. I think the portion is generous and definitely worth a try! Their seating is super comfortable, I like coming here to study and get work done- they also have wifi available. There's 4 tables or so, it's not super spacious but still a really nice spot to hang out for a bit. Everytime i come here, the drinks are watered down, and flavorless. I came to find out it's because their sugar level is automatically 50%. When i ordered i asked less sweet, which i didn't know would be 30%. That made my oolong tea flavorless and just plain tea, even mixed with the milk foam, it was watery and the pudding didnt have flavor either. I ordered a strawberry marble drink before and it tasted like a regular strawberry milk i could make at home. We finally got to visit this new place near the West Dublin Safeway and it is a gem! Cute with minimalist decor nestled near Panda Express and Yogurtland. Fast service with kiosks and counter staff with an attentive owner checking on patrons. The Brown Sugar Cloud Milk Tea with Boba tasted fresh and the boba, although smaller, had just the right chewy texture. The Creme Brulee topped Hot Earl Greay Tea was perfect, half sweet with the creamy sweet and slightly salty texture of the creme brulee - a perfect drink for a cool spring day. Mango Mochi Nuggets were fresh, crispy around the edges, nicely chewy and quite flavorful but the presentation could most certainly be improved. Surprisingly the nuggets were all piled into a plastic cup, surely making them softer and certainly detracting from their presentation! I remember really liking Gong Cha before and that's why I was super excited to give this place a try. However, unfortunately I didn't enjoy the drink that I got at all. Immediately after the first sip, my immediate first impression was boba felt tough (too chewy) and could've been cooked longer. In addition many of my pearls stuck together in clumps, making them so difficult to get through the straw. With that said, the boba flavor was pretty spot on (perfectly sweetened). I got the oolong milk tea and the milk tea drink itself felt less creamy than what I normally would get from my other typical boba places. It almost tasted watery, although I had to say the oolong tea flavor did come through though. While I regretfully didn't enjoy my drink, I thought staff were nice and friendly though, and the interior of the shop looked nice and cozy. read more

I came here on a Wednesday afternoon. The kiosks were down, a separate guest and myself both tried using separate kiosks but once we reached the payment stage, it said there was no internet so we had to wait in line. There were several people in line and only two people working so there was a bit of a wait. The drinks were expensive and despite being 50% sweet they were both very sweet. The boba in both drinks (one had honey or brown sugar boba the other had some special mango boba) were meh, the flavor and texture wasn't great. The staff was friendly and the interior seemed new and clean but based on the cost and flavor I don't know that I'd come here again unless I was desperate for boba and had no other option. read more

This location is fairly new and in the same plaza as Yogurtland and Panda Express. There is a decent amount of parking shared with other establishments. The place is clean and the employees are very friendly and helpful. You can order through the kiosk or in person, if it is not too busy. I usually order the Earl Gray Milk Tea with 3J and QQ Passionfruit Green Tea. Both drinks are fairly consistent every time I have purchased them. I've visited the Dublin Gong Cha twice now both times to get the Gingerbread man cups! The staff there is really nice, when I first went in the guy working there told me I was the first one at that location to get the Gingerbread man cups. He had accidentally forgot to add the scarfs to them but when I came back on a different day for another one he had remembered me and gave me the 2 scarfs for those cups which was nice! He was very friendly and kind. As for the drinks, I tried the Gingerbread flavor, Taro flavor and Thai Tea flavor! I really loved the Taro flavor the most but the Thai tea was also lovely! I wasn't as big a fan of the gingerbread flavor but I did enjoy trying something different, it felt very fitting for the holiday season and was still tasty The gingerbread man cups are very cute, I'll be collecting some this year to have to repurpose for Christmas partys as well as gifts!
