I came to this location a couple of times recently. I ordered the Red Bean Milkshake, fried tofu, and popcorn chicken. The Red Bean Milkshake has always been my favorite at any of the T4s I have been too! So good! The fried tofu was good with the nice, crisp outside batter, and the soft tofu inside! The only thing I was disappointed about this was that the portion was definitely a snack size. It was really small. It filled up barely half the box. The popcorn chicken tasted good with the nice batter on the outside and juicy chicken. It had a lot of flavor with the basil. The portion was generous! Down the street from my house so come here for convenience. My usual is jadeite royal tea topped with cheese cream or oolong milk tea, sweetness is inconsistent but it works. Recently I ordered popcorn chicken, fried tofu, mozza sticks and egg puff and they were all yummy. Especially popcorn chicken, i really enjoyed the crispy texture and so very flavorful. The mix recipe must be good recently.. lol Store can get crowded during lunch hour and after school, while school is in session. Overall its clean inside and cashiers are somewhat friendly. I order door dash but my delivery of drinks were damaged. It between T4 and the door dasher. Luckily I got a refund from doordash not T4. T4 usually put the drinks in a drink container and bag it. Finally, I've returned after a four month hiatus because of my last poor experience. And to my pleasant surprise, this location has finally returned to normal operations with new tables and seating that had been removed since the pandemic. I can now enjoy my cup of boba tea dining in. The restroom has been reopened for customer use too. Love that they got rid of the dingy impractical white seating that was unpleasant to look at and sit in. The new seats are wipeable and inviting. The cashier was friendly and sweet. With more than 5 visible employees up front, id expect service to be fast, but no, it took 10+ minutes for two drinks is kind of ridiculous. Drinks: 1. Ginger Milk tea {4/5 stars, $5} - The only good thing about here was the drink. To my surprise, the ginger milk tea was delicious. It tasted exactly like a gingersnap cookie and was nice and hot. For those who like a sweet dessert tea, this is the one for you. Although, I requested zero sugar, it was too late when I noticed they made it with sugar. Service: Extremely slow and unfriendly. Took 10+ minutes for two drinks to be made plus my drink was made incorrectly. 5 visible employees behind the counter and no one in front of us, still 10+ minutes. I love T4, the Strawberry milkshake and the apple smoothie with aloe are the best. They also have great food such as the popcorn chicken and the curly fries, which are shown. Their takoyaki, potstickers and more are delicious. This is always a favorite snack place. There's always a line. Our favorite is the basil ried chicken poppers, calamari and ftied tofu. You can ask to make it spicy. Always made fresh. For the drinks, our go-to is the Passion Fruit Iced tea with boba and lychee jelly; and the royal honey peach with boba and lychee jelly. Refreshing, altho the zero sugar option still is sweet. This is a solid boba joint in my area for when I'm craving a nice peach tea! Their drinks are a little on the sweeter side so definitely ask for less sweet when ordering. I feel as though their prices for toppings are a little steep as I ended up paying more than usual for the same drink I always order from here the other day. If you call ahead they will also take your order which cuts down on the wait time for snacks! We always get various adjustments and they don't ever seem to have any issues with it. Someone told me about their Snow Globe and Pearl Milk Tea and liked it, so I figured I'd give it a try. It reminded me a lot of Sharetea's Panda Milk Tea - it was basically a regular milk tea drink with two toppings: regular boba and white agar boba. Together they created interesting mouthfeel - the regular boba was chewy and squishy, and the white boba (which they called snow globes at T4) was too but with some slight crunchiness. While I thought both were good, I personally like the regular boba more, so I probably wouldn't order the white boba again. The drink itself was pretty good. I went with full sugar this time around so it was kinda hard to judge the quality or the strength of tea. But yup, it was good, I finished my drink in a matter of minutes. But next time I'll probably try, like, 30% or no sugar to really judge the tea. read more

Although the drinks and snack items have been consistently delicious at this T4 location, the customer service is lacking, in my opinion. Each time I've visited this T4, I've had the same girl behind the register to take my orders. She isn't very personable, or too friendly for that matter, which makes the interactions rather awkward. I could understand if she's like that if it's busy, however, she's like that even when the store is not busy. If you're looking to dine/drink your tea or smoothie at this location or just hang out with friends, good luck! In the afternoon this place is packed with teenagers, so finding a table can be a challenge. Other than that, I don't have any real complaints and will visit this T4 in the near future. read more

There are various reasons I supposed but the service here is dismal...much like the other locations I have visited in the past of this franchise. The food and drinks are still good (well I haven't tasted the one from here just yet but not a worry...yet). My observation Customer greets the cashier. Cashier's response with "..." just silence. Others on the team seem to be better equipped with service mentality...you can actually tell one team member smiling as she response to the customer with a mask on. Love the taro milk tea from here. Can't really compare with other East Bay boba places since frankly no one can compare with T4. Generally lines are long and if you order food, be prepared to wait a while. They do have a huge menu (literally too) and a buy 10 get one free card that you can get punched.
