I really liked the drink selection here. There were so many that caught my eye. Tanghulu yogurt drink: 5/5 it was really good! Loved the pieces of strawberry in it and the cup was super cute Brown sugar boba: 4/5 it was also very good, I think I would have liked more brown sugar syrup on the cup like it looks in the advertised picture Creme burle Thai tea: 2/5 they don't let you customize the sweetness on the drink and we thought it wasn't sweet enough and didn't have a strong Thai tea taste either. Also wished it was in a clear cup so we could see what the "creme brulee" was The have an ordering screen with tap to pay inside. I liked this because you can see the pictures of each drink. They have three small tables inside. I would come back to try some other drinks.
Ume Tea is located in the Safeway shopping center right off of Crow Canyon. It's in the midst of quite a few other places that offers snacks, food and drinks all around it. However, you're not going to find a cuter looking store than this in the area, so can't miss it. Ume offers the boba variety and will have the typical snacks that accompanies it. While no major food options, it's quite literally next to a sando place, and other food spots so you don't necessarily have to get a meal meal here. As mentioned before, Ume's play is definitely on the cute angle. I've been to their other locations and it's the same thing basically. This location does have a few seating inside albeit no big tables, and a few seating outside with a bigger table. The decor, from the seating pillow, to the wall design, to the cute mascots on the cups, it's all very coordinated at the very least. Price wise, it's not bad. Compared to Sharetea which is also in this shopping center, it's about comparable, though perhaps slightly cheaper, but not by much. Drink option wise, Sharetea is going to have more options of course, but Ume also has a good variety. Service here is good, just not friendly. You can just order yourself on the screen, but the people who work there really won't want to interact with you other than bringing out the order. They will at least pretend to work out half a smile when they feel like it, but otherwise they'll sort of just be doing their own thing most of the time I've been here. The drinks here are pretty decent. I've mostly gotten the milk teas when I've been here, and all in all, they've been real tasty. The combination of taste from the mixing was well done. The boba here is also quite good. Well made and certainly on par with Sharetea's boba if you need to compare, but slightly different, in a good way. All in all, Ume is a fine option for boba if you're in the area, and don't feel like Sharetea. Their drinks are priced relative to the area's offerings, and drink quality has also been good. However, one thing to note is that if you don't get the large cup, they unfortunately use the mini cups for regular size, which at the price for the upgrade, doesn't really make much sense unless you just want less, which in this case it'll work out. But just know, regular size here are small.

The ambience is a flirty pink and ume themed boba shop like other ones but this one has cute toast seats and booth seating. This spot is perfect for a quick bite or grab and go. We got the matcha seasonal drinks pictured and the thai creme brulee! Would highly recommend!
I finally tried Ume for the first time. This store is super cute. They have drinks with surprise plush and cute merch. The staff were kind, patient and efficient. I ordered the Oreo Creme Brulee Boba Milk Tea with less ice and 70% sugar. This was definitely a dessert for me lol It had cookies and creme brulee. I enjoyed the drink! It was packed with toppings and had great tea flavor. They have interesting flavor combination drinks. Many captured my attention. I will have to go back to try the other drinks and their snacks next time.

Came to this location after trying a different one and still love the drinks! Staff could not be more indifferent lol but the drinks are good so that's all that I really care about for boba. I got the premium lemon tea this time and it was so refreshing! Really light and not too sweet, and you can also taste the camellia tea notes. I also added mochi, which was nice and soft and slightly chewy.
Came in on a whim for a needed snack on a Tuesday. Walking in, very aesthetic - especially if you love boba and popcorn chicken. There were two young ladies working that day, very nice! There was a kiosk at the front to order. I ordered from there and it took about 3 minutes, it seemed like folks who ordered directly from the workers took a little longer. I ordered the lychee and watermelon green tea and the popcorn chicken and fries combo. Food was tasty and the drink was good. It did take a while for the food to be ready, I waited for about 10 minutes. Overall a good experience, there seem to be a few kinks that still need to be worked out. I believe they opened this location fairly recently.
This boba shop is a cute concept which caught my attention! I walked it and tried the brown sugar oolong! Honestly this was not the best that I have tried it tasted water and the boba was a mushy texture but it still was okay as a whole. Maybe i would try something different if I can back again
What a cute boba shop! Ume Tea's logo is a bunny and the cafe is filled with cute bunny plushies everywhere! I'm a bunny lover and would visit just for the decor. My friends and I were in the mood for a mango dessert and the Mango yogurt slushee was delicious. Sweet (even at 15% sweetness) and creamy with agar boba. It really hit the spot and we all enjoyed it. I would come back and try the teas.
I walked into Ume Tea and felt that everything looked so cute. At the front counter, the staff answered all of my questions with patience and politeness. I wanted to get something cute. The bunny hug is just what I needed when I returned home, jet lagged and exhausted. I ordered the taro coconut pudding latte with pistachio cream and zero added sugar even though it wasn't recommended. I was happy because it felt like a healthier option. We also ordered the crème brûlée Thai tea, the Oreo crème brûlée boba oolong milk tea. The crème brûlée Thai tea was our overall family favorite even though the sweetness levels were unchangeable. We will order that again for sure!
Ume Tea took over the spot where R&B tea used to be. Although I miss R&B Tea, I was excited to learn that Ume Tea was opening a location that is shorter than a half hour drive for me. I've seen pictures on Yelp for years but noticed that most of their locations are on the peninsula or South Bay. As you walk in, you'll see a pink interior with bunnies. You can order at the counter or the kiosk. They'll text you when your order is ready. First time I went I got black milk tea with mochi and taro (hot, 50% sweet). It was my first time trying mochi in boba. Though I liked the mochi and taro, I wasn't wild about the milk tea itself. It seemed watered down. Today I got the oolong milk tea with crème brûlée, Oreo crumbs, and boba (50% sweet, hot). I loved this drink! It has the perfect amount of sweetness and the boba wasn't overcooked. Also, it's hard to mess up crème brûlée and Oreo crumbs. Besides drinks, they also sell food and merch. I might get my bunny loving friend a bunny souvenir. ;-)
Tried their new items . The brown sugar oolong milk tea is now only $3.99! It's very nice and creamy. Lots of boba. We could adjust the ice and sweetness level! Highly recommend it. They have Swiss rolls now and are $1.50 each slice. The cakes were a bit dense and not airy enough . Also I prefer them to be sweeter.
Love it here! I was so pleased with my son and Is drink presentation! It was so cute! I ended up going back to grab my daughter 1 as well! I love that you can reuse some of the cups they provide! I go here for the esthetic and the friendly workers!

Ume Tea is a solid option in the area. I come here for their jasmine milk tea and add lychee jelly for the sweetness. The drinks are made quite quickly, which may be why my drinks haven't always been consistent. However, I still enjoy this spot more than some others in San Ramon. There is limited seating inside, but a few spots outside too so you can enjoy your tea drinks. read more

Very friendly staffs and stable quality, I have been to other Ume locations and overall the San Ramon location is the best. I ordered my routine drinks and always come out very good. And comfortable outside sitting with the shade of two big trees. read more

Ume Tea opened recently where Frozen Cafe once was. Totally refurbished with pink decor, pink merch, and a instagrammable experience. Ordered, pd, drink ready in minutes... Offerings: milk tea, fruit tea, snacks, milk, yogurt, matcha, pistachio, mango, rose... Sips: matcha latte (5.95) regular size, less ice, mango fruit, 20 grams sugar by default. 20 grams = 40% of daily allowance. No can change. Tried it to "size" it. -mango not an issue, just fibrous fluid. Easy to digest. -latte subtlety nonissue. Matcha very subtle, prefer more... -sugar an issue healthwise. sugar addicts not deterred. Note brown sugar dosage... 4.5 stars wouldn't order again. Drank it over 3 day -size medium not the large one. *outside has more seating.. read more

Drinks: I tried the lychee rose green tea that has lychee bits - with 100% sweetness and extra ice. It's delicious and refreshing! I wish they had more nondairy milk teas. The yogurt drinks were so tempting but had dairy since she said the yogurt is mixed with some milk, I might just try it next time! Ambience: Small seating and waiting area but lots of space outside Parking: In the same lot as Wingstop and Safeway so lots of parking. You can order on the kiosk but the payment wasn't working so the friendly staff helped me order. Great service and it was not busy on a Thursday afternoon. read more
Dropped by after seeing this place had turned into a new boba spot. I am unbelievably addicted to Dubai chocolate anything so when I saw they had it on the menu I was immediately drawn in. The decor in the place is super cute and service is pretty fast as they do have the option to order at the register or with the cashier. The boba itself was really good and not too sugary. The only downside is they didn't put enough ice so with the heat it immediately just started to taste like watery melted chocolate. Either way I still enjoyed my drink and would be open to trying the other items. read more

Because of my favorite mango, I ordered their Coco Mango Jasmin Bloom this time (I liked their rose series very much also) With all of the surprise, they are very very good! Mango is fresh, with the combination of jasmine tea, it works well together. Not really favoring of sago but it's okay to keep in the drink. Went again just recently for their 6th Anniversary event, specifically for their surprise cup. They only offer a few to choose from, which I understand to have staff to focus making the drink. I also understand that because it was the last day of the event, there was a lot of orders. When I first stepped into the store, I didn't know should I order from the kiosk or from the staff. I stood there for few minutes but no one acknowledged my appearance, which was a little disappointing. Later, another customer showed me I could actually ordered from the kiosk, so I ordered. While waiting, I stepped outside the store and bought something else then waited at the car. 15 minutes has passed, I finally received the text showed my order is ready. As I approach the store again, I saw only one cup was ready. I asked if that was my other order, then she said they ran out of boba. I was surprised that they did not refill when ingredients run low, later they finally started my order then realized they ran out of jasmine tea also! I wondered if they had time to check, but looking at only 2 person working then I thought wow, did they not anticipate how busy it will be for the 4 day event? Okay, I just hope if there is such an event again they can plan better. read more

I ordered Coco Mango and Popcorn Chicken. The Coco Mango was sooo good! It was sweet, creamy, and refreshing! I would definitely order it again. The popcorn chicken was good! Generous portions! The batter was good. It's what you would expect for popcorn chicken. read more

Came to the store around noon on a Saturday and they were kind of quiet but when we left they had a line going so they're pretty popular. They took the space of R&B. We tried Coco mango 30% sweetness - 4/5 It's coconut milk, mango chunks, grapefruit pieces, sago and green tea . It's a very refreshing drink. Not as heavy as yogurt and the grapefruit gave it a bit of a citrus bite. Passion fruit watermelon green tea 50% sweetness light ice- 4/5 Brown sugar boba fresh milk half sugar - 3.5/5 The boba is soft and yummy. The drink itself was ok. Popcorn chicken salt and pepper - 3.8/5 It's moist and crunchy but it tastes a bit oily. Not sure why. Overall we enjoyed it. All drinks large are still under $7. The popcorn chicken has other flavors but they're on the expensive side $10. read more

I'm not too sure about this place yet. Came here during the week while it wasn't so busy during lunch time. Small little location that took the place of r&b tea. When I arrived, there was already two customers waiting for their order. I ordered the matcha strawberry latte and requested the surprise cup. The cashier pointed out asking what size. I then had to ask does the surprise cup come in sizes and he was like oh okay. The wait was about 10-15mins. The drink was okay..the surprise made up for it cause it was such a cute mermaid. I'll be sure to try other items. read more

So excited that Ume is within walking distance from my house! Wait...I think my hips hate me already. Currently in their soft opening stage. Grand opening 1/4/25 with deals and prizes to come! Ume is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Pop music plays in the background, and there is a very small seating area in front with some outside seating as well. They have a decent menu of fruity, milky, nutty, or smoothie-like drinks. We got the berry pistachio latte and the boba milk tea. The pistachio cream is so yummy and is a flavor I haven't yet had in milk teas. The sweetness is not adjustable for this drink. The OG milk tea was also decent. I like their boba as they are slightly sweet and have a good chew. We also were given a sample of their new pistachio gelato to try. It was not too sweet and had good pistachio flavor. It was icier than a standard gelato, but still a delicious treat! The staff are really friendly here as well. All in all we will definitely be back! Can't wait to try out their popcorn chicken and other hot food items! read more
I got the taro pudding drink hot this time instead of cold. The lid of the cup is quite loose. The drink had spilled over my hands, thankfully it didn't burn me. But my fingers feel sticky. I am going to see if I can bring my own tumbler next time for hot drinks. A cute little store with lots bunny decor. I come here for the taro drink. read more

Maybe more a 4.5? I've visited three times so far. Great customer service-really friendly and patient staff, had a good hardworking team that kept the lines moving despite how overwhelming it probably felt to have a long line of customers. Lovely decorations, love the bunny mascot! I tend to like hot drinks in the winter. They said they can make their milk teas and matcha latte hot. My first two drinks came out warm even though I ordered hot, but the third drink was hot. 2/3 times the drinks came pretty quickly after ordering. Drinks tend to be sweeter. I ordered the hot milk tea with taro and mochi with 50% sweet but it was still too sweet. I wasn't crazy about the matcha latte- the matcha was too light for me, and the milk had an after taste. The jasmine floral tea (blossom latte), 30% sweetened was perfect though! My friends ordered the mango yogurt and the strawberry yogurt and they liked their drinks. In summary, beautiful, creative drinks with friendly and kind staff. A fun small shop with cute decorations, good location with lots of parking. Has limited seating inside, also some seating available outside. But areas of improvement would be more balance in sweetness, consistency in temperature of drinks and timing. Look forward to visiting again and trying more items! read more
Came to the first day of their four day grand opening, the line wasn't too long and the ambiance was so cute and pink. I ordered the pistachio rose latte with boba and it was so good and creamy. This shop is a great addition to the shopping area, with the only other boba shop being sharetea. I love the little bunnies everywhere around the store and the decorations they put up. I'll definitely be coming back here whenever I want a quick boba drink! read more
I like this Ume Tea location. It is located in the Diablo Plaza. Whenever we come here, we can sit for a few minutes while they prepare our drinks. Their sitting area is small; but, most boba tea shops are small. I do like their taro drink and so far their drinks are consistent. I notice they have a steady stream of customers wherever we are here. The down side is there are no restrooms here. read more

Amazing little spot that we found here in San Ramon! I got myself a Lychee & Watermelon Green Tea, soooo yummy. The staff is very friendly, the place is clean and well lit. There's a cute section to sit and enjoy your tea/boba, plus they got snacks. I highly recommend giving them a try. Take pictures because it's SUPER CUTE! read more

Usually it's pretty good but this time I think the seasoning container got accidentally emptied on the food. Box had 1cm of seasoning from the bottom :(. Popcorn chicken and fries didnt have this issue. read more
