I came to this T4 after going to the gym nearby with my cousins because I was craving boba like always (I know it is a bad habit, lol). Not much was open at this time, especially in this area, since it was already after 9 PM, so we just came here and I was kind of craving for their drinks as well. They are located in the Country Club Village - a big, but pretty quiet plaza with plenty of parking. My cousins did not want anything, so I just ordered 2 boba drinks (1 for now and 1 for when I get home and study later). I forgot that this was one of the slowest T4 locations I had been to in the Bay Area, but I quickly remembered, as I was waiting for my drink and reading my previous Yelp review from here - we were the only customers here at the time, yet it took almost half an hour for 2 drinks. The employee messed up 1 of drinks, which I caught before she finished - I told her of an easy fix, but she insisted of remaking both drinks, even though she only messed 1 up, which seems like a waste and also is way more work for her, but I guess whatever makes it easier for her. I ordered my usual go to drinks from here, which is their green tea topped with cream, boba, & grass jelly and jasmine milk tea with boba & grass jelly). The quality has significantly decreased, especially compared to their other locations that I go to. Food: Fried squid {$6.50,5/5 stars} - haven't have food from T4 in awhile and decided to choose fried squid and was absolutely delicious. It had a crunchy, light breading ( got a little kick to it) and perfectly cooked squid on the inside. Highly recommend along side popcorn chicken! T4 has been a lifeline during this pandemic for quick and fast boba. I've been having very strong boba cravings lately and just need a simple (and safe) fix to satiate that craving every so often. I call in and order my milk tea with boba and it's ready within 5 minutes to be picked up. The staff are efficient and doing well to keep everything sanitized and distant. I feel very safe going in for 2 seconds and grabbing my boba and going! As for the quality, the boba is always a little watered down tasting, but it's not that big of a deal. I definitely cannot thank T4 enough for being there when I need them!!! read more

We've been coming to this location for years. There were a couple years in the middle they stopped indoor dining, and also the interior was really getting pretty beat up and grimey. Came back again today and it looks like they've finally made some updates. The dining area is open and looks clean and bright. Drinks and food are solidly 3.5 stars -- nothing spectacular but as expected. Boba is good texture. Popcorn chicken is crunchy. We will continue to come here for comfort boba. read more

This is my happy spot in Dublin. They have my favorite Taro milk tea and the location is fab! Grab a drink and snacks to fuel up for shopping at Target or across the overpass to the Livermore Outlets. Just like most boba places, adjust your ice level and sweetness level to your desire. I always take my drinks to 30% sweetness and take the ice level down so I can get my money's worth with the actual drink. #AsianMoneyHack I also love their popcorn chicken and egg puffs as my snack of choice. There tends to always be a line and a wait no matter time/day you go. To be honest, lines/waits don't worry me if I see the food and drinks constantly being made. This place will over-charge your kids if you don't go in there with them. Today, my wife inquired with the manager/owner about discrepancies between what was charged in the kids' receipts and what they got in their cups, the manager told her that she would need to call a lawyer to get it resolved. I then went back and looked at my kids' Greenlight account and saw that T4 charged them $25 for the same two basic drinks on other occasions. I think T4 in general is better for their fruit drinks, not MT. Their MTs aren't very strong as compared to I-Tea. Passion fruit with fig jelly / 30% sugar -- this is my second time getting this drink. It's already pretty sweet, so the cashier recommended 30% sugar. Spot on. It would have been too sweet otherwise. Wintermelon crema with 50% sugar (80% is SUPER SWEET) -- I approve of this one. Their crema isn't the best or the worst, so of so drinks, would get this again. Amber Pearl Latte with 50% sugar -- Do not get any boba, it was hard. Maybe because it was toward the end of the day (8pm)?? Regardless, I definitely regretted it in this drink. The drink itself was ok. It's hard to mess up milk + brown sugar. I don't think there was any coffee in that drink. Hot Ginger Milk Tea with 30% sugar recommended. 50% was way too sweet. Decent ginger flavor though, would get this again. Mango smoothie with 50% sugar -- tastes like the fruit syrup, definitely not fresh or frozen mangos. Blending job could have been better. There were chucks of ice, which tells me I would've been better off making my own. Popcorn chicken -- received half the bag. Good thing it was happy hour. I've been to many food/boba places before, but this was the most disgusting place i've ever been to. I would rate this 0 stars if i could. First, if you glance behind the counter, there's mold EVERYWHERE. Second, the boss seems completely clueless about the items on the menu, let alone any simple question given to him. The food is pretty mediocre and the drinks are eh and definitely not worth the expensive price. I had asked one of the workers if there was any non caffeinated drinks. The worker went to ask the manager (i'm assuming) and the manager said something like," this was a boba store so everything has caffeine" in a very rude manner. I then asked if there was caffeine in the smoothies, and they said no. ????????? I don't understand why they acted this way toward me and were still wrong in the first place. Wow, this place was hecka popular with the students, lots of them seemed to just chill and hang out a lot at this store. Good for the store's business. The only let one party of customers to be in the store at once, and after you place your order, you gotta scram out of the store and wait for your order outside. I ordered the Pearl Milk Tea, but they ran out of the large boba, so they asked if they could partially substitute it with the small boba. I was like, sure, it's still boba. And boy I think now I like the small boba better than the large boba. It was good. Overall I really liked my drink. It was tasty, the milk tea itself was delicious, perfectly sweetened to my liking and so was the boba. My current review is for their red bean egg puff and their fried calamari. Recently I've had their red bean egg puff during their happy hour, where they have 20% off their menu items. This is one of the few places that I know of that serve egg puff, and they do it pretty well! The outside is crispy and edges are crunchy, while the inside is light and fluffy. The batter isn't too sweet, and the red bean itself adds a hint of sweetness. I did try the matcha egg puff at the other T4 location in San Ramon, and the textures were consistent. The matcha flavor was strong enough and not too bitter, and the sweetness of the batter was also not too overwhelming. When you're ordering the egg puff, expect at least a 5-10 minute wait, especially during happy hour. As for their fried calamari, the batter is the same as their popcorn chicken. I don't prefer this batter over other boba shops' batter, as this batter is crunchy, which is great. However it is so crunchy that it crumbles, and you're left eating the calamari and batter separately. They don't add spices to the calamari, so you can do that yourself next to where you pick up your order. They don't give too many pieces/fill up the box as much as they do with the popcorn chicken, which is a little disappointing. For the price though at ~$4, it's not too bad. Itea sells a full box of fried calamari, but it is always regular priced (no happy hour deal for it). Their batter is also different than T4's, so take your pick! read more

What an awful people to use a spoiled milk and serve it to their customers just to save couple of dollars on their end. You've lost a regular customers today and put our lives in danger. Dirty business practice. When paying with a credit card, I selected "Other" for the tip amount. It didn't prompt me to enter a tip amount, instead it asked me to sign. I thought I would enter the amount on the receipt. Turns out they added 20% tip amount to the total. My order was $50+ so they added $10+ for tips!! When I asked about it, the worker just said I don't know. This is the second time this has happened here so it is not an error. I will not be going back here. The vibe here is pretty good, usually there are groups of friends hanging out at all hours, some table games available to play, and of course milk tea and food offerings. As you can see, I frequent this T4 weekly..more like twice a week. Apparently, we are here way too much. Since i-Tea opened nearly a year ago further down Alcosta, T4 lost their better employees to that establishment. Still, I don't expect 5 star..heck, let's be honest here..I barely expect 2 star service here. However, please do not be rude to your loyal and long time customers that spend $20 - $25 weekly. My husband and I drive quite a way out of our way to this T4. There is another T4 that is less than 2 miles away from us; but, we rarely go there after a couple of rude interactions. Well, I guess it'll be bye bye T4 Alcosta too. There is one particular employee, Vicky that is very rude. I've ignored it for the past 2-3 months because most teens aren't very customer service oriented. However, let's just say I worked during my teen years and I was always upbeat at work and customers loved it. I guess it was a totally different era, right? They always act as if you're asking for them to cut off their arm and give it to you when I ask for a tiny container or cover to place my sweet and sour sauce in (many times they're out and act as if I am lying so I have to motion and point right next to them on the counter) or a bag to put my food in. Tonight, I ordered curly fries, basil chicken, and a drink. They placed the items on the counter and called out my number. I walked up and looked at my items and asked for a bag. Vicky grudgingly placed their smallest bag (the narrow one that fits one drink..maybe 2 if you shove it in and have it stacked and it'll fall right over anyway) on the counter. I nicely asked if I can have another bag or a bigger bag that'll fit my items. She glances over with a scowl and rudely and curtly says, "It fits". Huh? Really? I reply with, "No, it doesn't." The guy next to her hands me a bigger bag and she rolls her eyes. Whoa. Now that I won't tolerate. I say, "Excuse me. What is your name?" All of a sudden she can't hear me. I ask again. She continues to ignore me. I ask the guy, "Excuse me. What is her name?" He ignores me too. I ask again. He mutters without looking up, "Is that necessary." It wasn't a question it was a statement. I responded very firmly at this point. "The way she responded was not necessary". Well T4, is it necessary to roll your eyes at a customer who asked nicely and since your employees have no respect or tact, will lose a loyal long time customer? Sharetea, i-Tea, Boba Place,...any other boba places in San Ramon? Or, this may be a sign to cut out more sugar. Positively speaking, this may be a sign. read more

This place is a hit or miss. . I got the Amber Pearl Latte, their #1 bestseller. The drink allows for NO ADJUSTMENTS. I was able to switch the milk to soy milk. The soymilk is sweet too. I wish it was unsweeten. The drink is good. Its kinda like the black sugar milk tea drink, but there were issues with this drink. The boba is not evenly done. The majority of my boba were still hard, and the ice level was too much. The drink is already $5.00. I don't want to pay for ice. Last time I got the snow globe which includes both the pearl and agar boba. I asked if they can put less creamer and sugar and they agreed. The drink was delicious. It's your standard bubble tea shop, conveniently located in East Bay suburbia. There's been an outbreak of PMT places in the San Ramon area recently, and luckily T4 is on the better end of this spectrum. How authentic is it? Just take a look around at the cheesy advertisements on the wall and their slogan - "Fashion, Favor, Flavor". Mhmm. And the fact that all items are listed in Chinese as well. Prices are pretty standard and there's a large selection of drinks, teas, slushes, and toppings to satisfy a variety of palates. Be sure to save your rewards card for a free drink! I only wish they would note which drinks can't have their sugar-level adjusted, since it's not clear from the menu. My go-tos are probably the Roasted Oolong and Taro Milk Tea, my brother's an Okinawa devotee. Drink quality tends to vary based on the maker, but it's much better than Quickly. The Rose Milk Tea was way too pungent for us. They also offer essential Taiwanese/Hong Kong snack items like popcorn chicken, fried tofu, fried squid, and French fries (the most ethnic, of course) to balance out those sweet drinks. They have pretty comfy chairs and booths and you wouldn't be the first to bring your laptop or books here to hang out for a bit. Just be warned that things could get rough if their single bathroom goes out of service like it did our last visit. read more

My husband got a grapefruit tea with boba and said it was good. I always have good service here so not sure why people have commented otherwise. I got my order within a few minutes and it was pretty busy right now. And the guy that took my order was friendly and nice. My only "complaint" is that the floor always looks dirty. Like always.
