Both of them have regular sugar and ice. I liked both of them, dirty boba comes with a good amount of black boba and tasted perfect to me. I decided to try Boba X because I saw online that they had some fun One Piece themed decor. They really went all out with the One Piece theme inside. I got a mango milk tea, 30% sweet, no ice, and it was done within a few mins. It was still quite sweet for 30% sweetness, but other than that, it was pretty decent, but not anything particular memorable about the flavor. This is a cute little boba store with lots of One Piece-inspired decorations! We came for late night boba less than an hour before they closed, so it was pretty empty. I love this boba. I started coming here when she started manages it then when it turn into her own business I support it even more. All snacks are great. I love getting the fried tofu, honey popcorn Chicken, fried octopus and takoyaki. For the drinks. I tasted all of them, but the one I really stick to it is either mango snow with 50% sweet, or Taro Milk Tea water-based. The service is great! They're fast and if they know you as their regulars you do not have to talk they know your order unless you changed your mind. I enjoy it when boba places utilize themes to differentiate themselves, especially when the theme is unique, well done, and accompanied by great tasting beverages. I think Boba X did just that. Boba X, featuring so many things, from posters to action figures (I mean a lot of action figures) to everything else you can almost imagine around what I believe to be the "One Piece" anime series featured on Netflix. It was so fun and entertaining to show my baby daughter all of the unique-ness around the shop. The drinks were well made, but nothing stood out. Perfect for fans of One Piece!! I came here to get fried tofu and it was so delicious Definitely some of the best boba shop fried tofu I've had. It pairs perfectly with sweet chili sauce and was crunchy and flavorful. I didn't get a drink this time, but will definitely come back to get more tofu and try their bevs. I think it was very reasonably priced too. The matcha milk tea here is very good. I love boba but I'm trying to watch my sugar so I got it with agar which is a clear type of jelly that still has texture and size like boba but isn't stringy like noodles. I got my matcha milk tea with 80 percent sweet and agar. We also got some popcorn chicken. They have different dips you can have for it but we opted just for the spicy pepper on the side. They didn't have any white pepper but it wasn't a problem because the popcorn chicken was pretty darn great alone. When we approached the register, there was a very sweet young man and also a cute little girl watching and helping him. They are adorable and full of good vibes. I would love to be helped by them anytime! The shop itself is awesome, they have some cozy chairs in the register area as well as small and some larger tables around the cafe, perfect to hang out, work on laptops, etc. They also have a restroom inside! I usually get milk tea as more of a treat or like a dessert type thing. This milk tea wasn't as flavorful as others are or as sweet. I asked for zero ice and regular sweetness but the regular sweetness isn't sweet. The tea was really strong and I think they used more tea than normal. My boyfriend got a crème filled churro and said it was a normal churro, nothing special. Overall it seems super modern and is a clean cute place. Great customer service. The dude serving me and a friend made a quick variety of recommendations for my request for less caffeinated options. I landed on the Dirty Boba which I chose after he compared it to tiger sugar boba. I would not have otherwise known what that was. Again, love the efficiency this guy operated with. He also was able to describe the details of the XYZ tea for my friend without looking at the menu and confidently/efficiently took her order for substitutions of lychee for big boba. This Boba spot is too cute and is very dedicated to One Piece (anime show). This is the second time I've come here and I love their popcorn chicken. My kids always ask to come here to grab boba. We came on a Monday and it wasn't busy. The service was nice and fast. I enjoyed looking at all their One Piece decor. We ordered a Matcha boba and spicy popcorn chicken. Came here after randomly coming across this page on Yelp. The place turned out to be pretty fun. The entire place is One Piece themed (how they don't have a copyright situation is a bit interesting). That said, came here since they had something called "Sweet Bomb Toast" as well as popcorn chicken and drinks. The toast was interesting. It's thick cut but the filling is similar to Chinese custard buns. Not as creamy but the taste is similar. I expected more topping but it turned out to just be almost like a center filling thing. The popcorn chicken was pretty good. The chicken itself is a bit bland but they have a bunch of sauces you can choose from. Went with the sweet and sour as well as ranch. Sweet and sour had a different taste than I expected. Guess I should've gotten the sweet chili one instead. Ranch was good but nothing special about it. I think if they were to season the chicken a bit more and offer their current sauces, it would turn out well. The drinks were pretty basic. Again, nothing too special. Don't get me wrong, this place is good. But it's just more gimmicky with the One Piece decor and figures.
