Stopped at this strip mall to charge our EV and we're very happy to find Junbi Matcha & Tea. We got their black tea with oat milk and their yuzu green tea. They customize the drinks to your sugar and ice preference. However, they did recommend a little ice in my drink which I generally don't prefer. All in all, a solid stop to get your tea fix!

Tried Junbi for the first time and thought it was decent. I do appreciate them doing a double shot of matcha with their guava matcha latte, which helped the matcha flavor come out a bit more. If you like sweet, fruit-forward matcha mixes, this is a good spot. I probably would only come here if I had a dessert craving.

I got the guava matcha latte, and I really enjoyed it! The workers here are very friendly. There is parking in a plaza, and it's directly across the street from the outlets. Their seasonal drink options sound good as well. I would come back again!

Happy one year anniversary, Junbi! We stopped in on their one year anniversary to enjoy the banana sea salt series, and the usual favorite - strawberry matcha latte. And, I can never leave without the delicious salmon rice balls whenever that yummy food is available. Prior to that, I've been loving the BT21 drinks. As always, service was fast and super friendly.

Delicious matcha! Went in on a late Saturday afternoon and there were a decent amount of people there. It was relatively easy to find parking in their parking lot. There are 2 self-serve kiosks on the side and also a person that will happily take your order. We got a strawberry matcha and a chrysanthemum tea. The total came out to be $14.25 which I think is on the more expensive side. We got everything regular iced and regular sugar and no toppings. Strawberry Matcha (8/10): I can taste the earthiness of the matcha and the strawberry puree(?) adds a nice tartness when it's all combined. I think this was a nice balance and it wasn't too sweet which I personally enjoy. Chrysanthemum Tea (8/10): This was really enjoyable. You can taste the actual tea and it wasn't doused in sugar.

Last minute Christmas shopping means a matcha or boba stop for me hehe. We were headed to the Livermore outlets and saw there was a junbi across the street so we decided to check it out. It's super cute inside, we were greeted right away by the friendly staff, and there was no wait. I was really excited to try the matcha latte with oatmilk but i was pretty disappointed. You could barely taste the matcha. It tasted like a slightly sweet oatmilk with a hint of matcha. I've heard good things about their matcha so I may come back again to give it another shot! Maybe it was just an off day! I did get the little matcha tin to bring home to make my own, and that was really good. Didn't taste too grassy or bitter-- it was pretty smooth.

My family and I went to Junbi for the first time recently and I'm so sad we don't have one closer to us in pleasant hill area! They have a wide variety of matcha drinks it was so hard to decide, but the staff was so helpful in my decision. I chose a guava matcha cold brew, and my fiancé chose a hojicha cold foam latte. We both loved our drinks! Inside they also offered their matcha powders, and even a cute junbi sweater! A must try in the area!

I've been wanting to try this location ever since I knew of its existence. Came here last night for a post dinner drink, a little before closing. We were immediately greeted and drink orders taken. My go-to is always hojicha latte these days with oat milk. You can adjust your ice and sweetness and was informed that hojicha doesn't have any sweetness. Just did 50% and it was nice and not overly sweet. Tea was bold. Fam ordered the guava matcha and loved it. Just to their liking. No wonder this is a fav of ours whenever we travel. Somehow a few other groups followed us in before they closed soon after. A few minutes before closing we didn't feel rushed to leave but the staff were appreciative of us stopping by. Will need to go back soon and try their BT21 drinks. They have merch too! Couldn't decide what I wanted so will think about it before my return

I was in the area and craving a matcha, so I found this place on yelp. It was my first time in this cute little spot, and I was pleasantly surprised to see how many flavor options they had! I got the sea salt caramel banana flavor, and instantly noticed the vibrant green color this matcha has. Not like Starbucks or other places I've been. The young man who took my order(I think his name was Samuel?) was super nice also. Will definitely be back! I took a pic but wish I did so before I mixed it all up!

I have been coming here quite often since they've opened. They have many drinks to choose from and it's not just matcha drinks. But because of this place, I have become a matcha lover! There are many drinks here that I like, but one of my favorites is the Dirty Taro Vanilla Matcha Latte and I add their house-made almond jelly! Their house-made almond jelly is SOOO yummy! I LOVE it! It's worth the extra cost for an add-on! I try to add the almond jelly to almost every single drink I order. A few months ago they had their seasonal lychee drinks which I loved! Now, their seasonal fruit is peach! I tried the Golden Peach Matcha Blended drink, the Golden Peach Coffee Latte, and the Golden Peach Matcha Latte with Vanilla Cold Foam. All three were good! I love how they use real fruit for their purées! It makes such a difference tasting real fruit in my drinks.

Shopped at SF Premium outlet for about 3 hours only then we decided to go home but My niece who was visiting from Philippines saw Ross across the street and requested that we go. And so we did but on the way there, we saw this place and we were kind of thirsty already and a little bit tired of walking. So I asked my niece and nephew if they want something to drink. They said they only want water I said okay. It's my first time here so it took me a while to choose what's on their menu. I ordered the guava flavor, strawberry, and the dragon fruit. My nephew loves the guava flavor. I love the dragon fruit too. It's a cute little place. Very colorful and refreshing. It's cool that you have option to order either hot or cold tea and since it was hot that they after a long walk while shopping it was so refreshing to get ice cold tea drinks for us. I highly recommend this place. The staff are nice and plenty of parking too.

Really enjoy this spot as its quality for the drinks are top tier. By far one of the best matcha boba spots I've tried. The inside interior is also very cute and picturesque for those who like to capture their drinks with a nice background. The guy who took our order was very patient and accommodating. The drinks came out fast and was just the right amount of sweetness. I hope they open more Junbi's out in the bay area! It deserves all the hype it gets! They also have a different menu for seasonal drinks that change every 3-4 months which allows those who are interested in trying new drinks from their original menu!

Atmosphere Junbi is a nice chain matcha/tea shop, and the Livermore location is pretty spacious inside with a few tables to sit and chill. They also sell their own matcha powders if you're into making drinks at home, which is a cool touch. What I Ordered Guava Matcha Latte Strawberry Refresher The Experience As a semi-matcha snob, I thought the guava matcha latte was just okay for a quick fix. You could taste the matcha, but it leaned too milky for me, which is very typical of boba shop drinks that come in those big cups. On the flip side, I really enjoyed the strawberry refresher. If you've ever had the strawberry jasmine tea at Boba Guys, this tastes super similar (and that one's my fave at Boba Guys), so I was happy about that. Final Thoughts Overall, I'd give Junbi a 3.5 since they are known for their matchas, but I'm rounding up to a 4 just for the strawberry refresher.

I cannot get enough of it! Order here is very convenient as you can do so via the Snackpass app. They also have the QR code in front to order there and a standing ordering station that you can do so yourself. As for parking, it does get a little crowded at times, especially when people are waiting to get a spot or trying to parallel park along the median area. During the busy hours, the wait is a bit... but it's very worth it to me. The employees don't have much interaction with customers, but it seems that everything is done very efficiently behind the counter with order numbers constantly being called out and such. The shop inside is small with just a few seats to wait, mostly best to wait outside for your number to be called (or the app to notify you that your order is ready). Front is clean and cutely decorated, menu displayed clearly as well. The 2 go to drinks for me here is the Passion Fruit Green Tea and the Mango Passion Smoothie. QQ Noodles and Cubed Pearls are a must have for me as I love the chewy texture (makes me think of mochi cakes from Yi Fang too). The tea is always very smooth and yet present in the drinks. As for the Mango Passion Smoothie, there's a very strong mango flavor without it tasting artificial at all! Everything tastes made with fresh fruits and much care. My friend did order a Bubble Waffle here. Getting it fresh and having some, it was not the most memorable waffle. The flavor is as you'd expect it... but it doesn't fall a bit flat. I think I personally prefer Happy Lemon's bubble waffle. Overall though... I love the drinks here enough to honestly ignore the food. Final Thoughts: This will definitely be my to go place in this area and I'm already craving a stop here already.

I wish I could get less ice . The taste was good . But just too much ice for me. I will remember to change the ice level next time. Also the straw was too short for the cup . My lips got cut by the lid a few times. That needs to change.

Our recent visits have been to return for the avocado smoothie, which is not a common drink offering at Boba places, and popcorn chicken. The avocado smoothie is okay and not the best, however, it will do given none of the nearby places offer this drink. But the real winner is their popcorn chicken which comes with a decently sized-portion and the batter is perfect in amount and flavor. We don't particularly like our food spicy, so we always request for them to not add additional pepper sprinkled on top. That makes it perfect for us. However, if you like your food more spicy, definitely let them know. The only way to do this is if you order directly through a cashier or you somehow get their attention before they finish your order. Otherwise, ordering through the kiosk does not allow you to input any special requests. Service is not particularly fast especially when they get bombarded by the students from the middle schools and high school in the afternoon. I have yet to try their milk tea, but I haven't come to want to take the chance given one of my favorites is not that far of a walk from Honi-Bear. In any case, the location is great in the heart of downtown to treat ourselves to some drinks and snacks!
