Ube Taro Crème Brulee
Laura E.

I first heard of Teazen from a former coworker a few years back who frequented the Brentwood location. Unfortunately, there weren't any locations close to me in Walnut Creek, where I was living at the time. I bookmarked it on Yelp in hopes I'd be able to go one day. As I was leaving an interview in Pleasanton yesterday (5/15/2025), my car showed the temperature at 97 degrees so what better place to go than for boba! Teazen turned out to be less than 5 mins away. I had no trouble finding parking in their free (up to 3 hours) parking lot. They have an extensive menu with lots of common and unique drinks. I got the ube taro crème brûlée at 50% sweet with less ice. So good! I could taste all of the flavors without the drink being watered down. They have several couches and tables to work or hangout. I appreciate that they have WiFi and charging outlets so I could get work done and charge my phone. I came ~2:15 pm and it wasn't crowded when I left ~3:45 pm. Service is friendly and efficient. I ordered from the kiosk and I got a text that my drink was ready a few mins after ordering. Also, I heard the woman at the front (maybe the owner?) offer to remake a drink for a customer who wasn't happy with his. It's clear that this woman cares about her customers and went into the business for the right reasons. Even though I had no issues with my drink, I know that the staff would take any concerns I had seriously if I had issues with my drink. If I lived in Pleasanton, I'd be a regular. I hope Teazen opens an Oakland location one day!

Matcha Latte

Service this morning was 10/10 the guy who took my order was so nice and helpful when I ordered. The egg coffee was delicious so dang good, thank you for the recommendation! 70% sweet was perfect for me and the coffee was nice and strong! The downfall had to be the matcha latte, the milk was spoiled so it ruined the matcha for me. The color was promising but upon the first sip I found out it was spoiled. I don't live in the area so by the time I tasted it was too late to ask for a new one. It's cute and cozy inside and has a nice parking lot to the side of the building.

Uber Taro Creme Brulee with Boba

Came in at noon on a Tuesday and there was no one there. You can order in-person and they have tons of options to customize your order. The atmosphere is IG-chic and they have a claw machine. I tried an Ube Taro Creme Brulee with honey boba, which was delicious. I'd recommend only 50% sweetness, though, unless you really like sweet drinks. The only downside is that the price is a bit high if you like lots of toppings.

Coconut milk tea

I generally enjoy TeaZenTea, but this location took 30 minutes to make my order and it doesn't even taste like coconut :/ I'm disappointed. Also this was totally a me issue, but I know they have a crème brûlée series that uses a puff crème, but ordering creme brûlée in a milk tea is actual candy pieces so beware if you don't like crunchy texture in your drink. Ambiance was fantastic I like the couches and music. Employees were busy so I ordered on a kiosk, but I saw them working hard.

Beautiful downtown Pleasanton location. Clean aesthetic. Friendly service. Ordered: Strawberry Summer Green Tea with Mango Popping Balls. I came to downtown Pleasanton and was in the mood for bubble tea. I'm usually a fan of the classic boba but they didn't have that yet. At least they make it fresh. The popping bubbles were pretty good though. Recommend.

Super cute and cozy boba spot in Pleasanton. We do not frequent Pleasanton often so I was super happy to find out that TeaZenTea has multiple locations. I ordered the Brown Sugar Okinawa and was NOT disappointed. The tea has great flavour and the boba is done right. Perfectly chewy and sweet. It's so easy to mess up boba pearls but these guys know what they're doing. I wish this spot was closer to where I lived, but I can tell you that if I lived in Pleasanton, this would be my go-to spot for my weekly boba runs.

Vietnamese coffee, Thai tea with boba

We decided to grab something sweet after we had dinner and teazentea was right down the street. Luckily when we went it was empty so I got to order and get our drinks right away. The menu is pretty straight forward with a bunch of different options to choose from. We got Vietnamese coffee and a Thai tea with boba. Both were really good-- a little on the sweeter side but not bad at all! The location is super cute inside. It's bright and the staff was pretty friendly as well. I would go again.

We tried 2 drinks today. 50% sweet cream brûlée Okinawa and green milk tea. Both were a bit too sweet so next time we will try 25%. There are two tables with sofas which is probably comfortable enough for 4-6 ppl and 3 circle wooden tables for 4 so seatings are limited but that's the norm for boba shop. Someone ordered ube waffles and the smell made the entire store filled with fresh baked waffles. You order on a kiosk. Too bad they don't have Snackpass which I was hoping they would have it so we can do online ordering easily for takeouts. We will come back to try their waffle. I do wish that they have snack food on the menu like some other boba place around.

I love and brake for boba tea! TeaZenTea is relatively new to this location in Pleasanton on Main Street and sits on the old Dean's Cafe property. I love that I can walk here from my apartment in downtown Pleasanton. My drink of choice today was a Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Boba and it was delicious . Service was great. I was greeted with a smile from the associate and was asked what sweet level I preferred (30%, 50%, 75%). I went with 50% and that was perfect.

Definitely recommended!

Cute little spot with a cozy vibe--there's both couch seating and table seating inside, perfect whether you're catching up with a friend or just hanging out solo. That first sip of coffee? Instant obsession. I was hooked. The baristas were also super friendly, which made the whole experience even better. They've got a great selection of pastries and breakfast options too. I ordered the breakfast burrito (comes with egg, cheese and your choice of protein, plus a veggie option), and it did not disappoint--super satisfying and flavorful. For my drink, I went with an iced vanilla latte with oat milk... and let me just say, it was chef's kiss. Smooth, perfectly sweet, and so refreshing. Safe to say I've found a new go-to coffee spot. In San Leandro is an older one but have seen these around over the years alike Tully's and/or Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf now left in The City. That major in iced coffee drinks famously. I had a similar experience couple times I went since grand opening last year to, AnaSofia Z.'s I believe it's okay and food odors mix in a higher ceiling and kept even in a 1st floor setting here. By men's macy's doors down towards center court. Kinda pricey for a Breakfast burro but expected for Mall Lease prices increasing due to less vendors currently renting space differences. Traffic is less except on the weekends, they always have enough staff at this location inside but still training and different persons and like the options on the shelf, but don't know how long it's been there, especially loose leaf tea. Cups are unique and tasteful. I will return for the 5th time, next time and will try a different drink. To us the avacado bagel toast and the quesedilla had more value, than burrito pricing as much as the flavors. My accompanier had the Hot Nutty Cow which was unlike other drinks. So kudos DESI for them for that on the nationwide menu. Another good thing is sugar free hot and cold drinks upforth on the menu giving others a chance to enjoy a beverage while others only use a sugar free syrup only change to anything, ALWAYS defaults Vanilla. Seating is usually full, good for them, but we occasionally found out of the door seating chairs to enjoy our food and beverage seated there. Only a 3*5 due to box chai and the tables dirty but I asked someone they came around the corner and cleaned as we appreciated that. Don't have any photos today, but you will see for yourself next time you go to Stoneridge Mall across from Game Stop, that closed and was vacant blank black on our last visit last week. Ume was around the bend but favors bobba tea and their drive thru closed to re-open as Cowboy Coffee this week.

I cannot get enough of it! Order here is very convenient as you can do so via the Snackpass app. They also have the QR code in front to order there and a standing ordering station that you can do so yourself. As for parking, it does get a little crowded at times, especially when people are waiting to get a spot or trying to parallel park along the median area. During the busy hours, the wait is a bit... but it's very worth it to me. The employees don't have much interaction with customers, but it seems that everything is done very efficiently behind the counter with order numbers constantly being called out and such. The shop inside is small with just a few seats to wait, mostly best to wait outside for your number to be called (or the app to notify you that your order is ready). Front is clean and cutely decorated, menu displayed clearly as well. The 2 go to drinks for me here is the Passion Fruit Green Tea and the Mango Passion Smoothie. QQ Noodles and Cubed Pearls are a must have for me as I love the chewy texture (makes me think of mochi cakes from Yi Fang too). The tea is always very smooth and yet present in the drinks. As for the Mango Passion Smoothie, there's a very strong mango flavor without it tasting artificial at all! Everything tastes made with fresh fruits and much care. My friend did order a Bubble Waffle here. Getting it fresh and having some, it was not the most memorable waffle. The flavor is as you'd expect it... but it doesn't fall a bit flat. I think I personally prefer Happy Lemon's bubble waffle. Overall though... I love the drinks here enough to honestly ignore the food. Our recent visits have been to return for the avocado smoothie, which is not a common drink offering at Boba places, and popcorn chicken. The avocado smoothie is okay and not the best, however, it will do given none of the nearby places offer this drink. But the real winner is their popcorn chicken which comes with a decently sized-portion and the batter is perfect in amount and flavor. We don't particularly like our food spicy, so we always request for them to not add additional pepper sprinkled on top. That makes it perfect for us. However, if you like your food more spicy, definitely let them know. The only way to do this is if you order directly through a cashier or you somehow get their attention before they finish your order. Otherwise, ordering through the kiosk does not allow you to input any special requests. Service is not particularly fast especially when they get bombarded by the students from the middle schools and high school in the afternoon. I have yet to try their milk tea, but I haven't come to want to take the chance given one of my favorites is not that far of a walk from Honi-Bear.
