Cute and cozy chai shop that's tucked away in the BACK of Pleasanton. It's not a place you would stumble upon. But if you live in the neighborhood, I would definitely stop by. The Himalayan Chiya is so good and literally feels like a warm hug. If you like a drink that's subtly sweet, I would order this. But you can also adjust the sweetness.

New cafe alert!! ChaiAum is located in a quiet corner in the Raley's plaza on the opposite side of Jim's. I loved the space and friendly staff; definitely stop by if you happen to be in the downtown Pleasanton area and want tea specialities! I believe their Himalayan Chiya is their most popular menu item. The owner (I think she was, lovely lady) explained that they make the chai fresh every two hours because it tastes the best that way. Unfortunately that means they dump what doesn't sell :( It was in the 90s when I visited so I opted for the iced chai latte, but you bet I'll be back for the hot version. Himalayan Iced Chiya Latte ($6.50 for 12oz): I normally drink my tea and coffee without milk to get max flavor, but I quite liked the Chiya taste. Oat milk (extra $1) was recommended but I went with the whole milk at no cost lol Very cute serene area with board games and relaxing music. My only picky thing is their tables are bolted to the ground so I can't move it closer to my short legs lol Their matcha affogato looks compelling too!

A warm cozy chai place which serves Nepali chaiya. The tea was good. had nimki which is a crunchy savory side with tea to balance the sweetness of the tea. The server was friendly.

Yrs, they close@1230 but reopen for evening relaxation, non caffienated drinks available. Morning and evenings

Nepali dumplings called Mom's where the chicken is exotic and per workers Organic ingredients bales to nicely brown and just so right- the vegan were just perfect not so spicy as the Pollo. NOW I'm returning again, this time, my pov, for the MoMo's! Nice side acco.panment and requested a chutney made w Avacado, ,,-good choice for the kids a d grandma not so pungent as main but I expect to pay a higher price for chutney as it IS Real Organic Avacado! Best Indian i have ever tried, my pov as a non Indian eater-but ALWAYS Crave a good massage or rose or Himalayan chai here@CHAI AUM of Pleasanton. Way down past dow town in the Raley's plaza adjacent to Jim's Cafe, not Bill's, think Sunol Blvd off the 680 s/b, but go north after the exit to the Raleys Plaza.

Came in after lunch and ordered an Iced Chai with Oatmilk- medium sweet and a chocolate chip cookie for my kiddo. Got my order pretty quick. The chai wasn't strong enough for me but still had a good taste to it. I'm more of a HOT DIRTY CHAI typa girl but it was hella hot outside and I needed something cold. So for that reason I do need to go back and try the hot chai and will update.

Such a cozy, welcoming spot that truly feels like home. Perfect place to relax with a cup of chai and some tasty snacks. The atmosphere is super chill, and the owners clearly put so much pride and care into this new establishment. A wonderful addition to the community!

Nice ambience, pleasant and comfortable with sweet and savory snack choices and even a couple of Nepali treats. Lovely drink menu. I live nearby and glad they have opened up! They even have children's books and a couple games to keep them busy.

I love this spot to study, came twice both times good drinks and food! I think this place deserves more foot traffic, I don't leave reviews often but this spot is my favorite.

Really nice interiors and great location! I loved the customer service and enjoyed my hotel chiya, would definitely recommend and come again!

I ordered the Lucky Charms White Mocha. It was tasty, but definitely a drink I wouldn't be able to order on the regular. I was able to set up my computer and one of the side rooms and get some work done. This place seems to be a very popular place for studying and doing some work. Just a great place in a great area. Also, the special menu items didn't have their prices listed, but since the regular menu items were very reasonably priced, I thought the special menu probably was just slightly higher. I ordered a Cookie Butter Latte and a cappuccino, paid in cash with a $20, tipped $2 and had $3 and some coins left. Didn't really think about it until we've left - Cappuccino was $4.25, meaning that the Cookie Butter Latte was a $10 drink. Apologies but personally, it didn't taste like a $10 drink. Probably won't go all the way there again.

I recently discovered one of the Bay Area's best kept secrets. 100% Kona Coffee, right here in our…read moreown backyard. I'm talking about Mokulele Farms Kona Coffee. Who are they? Quite simply, they are a husband and wife team who splits their time between the Big Island of Hawaii and Pleasanton. They own a small farm in Kona, complete with acres of coffee trees that grow from volcanic rock, producing coffee that has been certified as 100% Kona (meaning it is not blended with other types of coffee beans). After the coffee is grown, picked, roasted and packaged, they bring it to Pleasanton where they sell it at the local farmers' market and other events. That's where we become the winners. Having the chance to purchase a half-pound or one-pound bag of this amazing whole bean coffee, direct from the farmers is extremely rare on the mainland. But that's exactly what you get when you buy from Mokulele Farms. The coffee itself has a wonderful aroma that is only outdone by its smooth taste and rich flavor. Oh, and by the way. They also sell wonduful tasting, fresh macadamia nuts, that are also grown on their farm in Kona. These macadamias are full of natural flavor and are even bigger than the over-roasted, salty ones that you find in the supermarket. I also found out that Mokulele Farms sells their products online through their website. So if you can't get out to the farmers' market, you can order right from home. Don't be fulled by the other so-called Kona Coffee's out there. Mokulele Farms 100% Kona Coffee is certified as such and you will find that every drop of this amazing coffee is well-worth every cent that you pay for it.

I hope they don't get too big and outgrow the personalized serve and next door neighbor feel.

They sell a ham & cheese croissant, coffees, teas, lattes, and four flavors of Japanese shaved ice called kakigori, which is the star of the show. The texture of this shaved ice is like fluffy cool softness that melts in your mouth. It is different than the traditional shaved ice and it is far from a snow cone. We ordered mango and kinako (a roasted soybean flour commonly mixed with sugar). These are large desserts! It takes time to make them since there are fresh ingredients inside. The mango was superb with little bits of fresh mango buried inside the ice. Not sickeningly sweet like the syrups most places use. My husband's had little mochi pieces mixed inside. It is common to add kinako to mochi so this was a bonus and a nice surprise. The kinako dessert was sweeter than the mango. Please know that there seems to be no a/c in this little shop but she has fans going. We went in the late afternoon so it was really uncomfortable inside. I had to leave and wait outside until the dessert was ready. It's hard to take these home as it melts fast so we sat inside to enjoy them. It was like heaven in my mouth and it cooled me down instantly. You must be patient as it takes at least 10-15 minutes for her to prepare the desserts but it is worth the wait! There is a small parking lot right in front shared with other businesses. Located right off the freeway behind Burger King.

Ding Ding plus Ding my mind spins fast as my hubby is getting pulled at a rapid pace towards the door. He says "No Way" I say "For another time," as we don't live in the area. Anyone that knows me knows my last meal in life would consist of Berry Pie for dessert. I look and there it is a Mixed Berry. I turn and ask the lady after she was done with her customer how much for this delight? She said it's $24. Without question I grabbed said pie, and went to the register. I told her that Berry is my favorite, and she went on to say that every Friday is Pie Day. She also mentioned that if I ever needed anything in particular, I could call ahead. She could have it prepared for me. Wonderful lady and beautiful service. Might I add that a pie of this weight and stature normally runs about $35 even $40 in some places. We had a slice the next day because I could not bear it any longer. Without lie this is the best pie I've had in years!!!! Years or even perhaps ever. It has to be realized that if there is Berry Pie of any kind on the menu it will be ordered even to go. There were actual whole berries, and it was not full of sugar like some pies. You can taste the natural fruit of summer, and the crust was perfection!!!! Now I have to wait for a Birthday to order a cake. I'm sure it will be divine! I could take a pic of pie now but it's partially gone. Not so picturesque.
