Cute and cozy chai shop that's tucked away in the BACK of Pleasanton. It's not a place you would stumble upon. But if you live in the neighborhood, I would definitely stop by. The Himalayan Chiya is so good and literally feels like a warm hug. If you like a drink that's subtly sweet, I would order this. But you can also adjust the sweetness.

New cafe alert!! ChaiAum is located in a quiet corner in the Raley's plaza on the opposite side of Jim's. I loved the space and friendly staff; definitely stop by if you happen to be in the downtown Pleasanton area and want tea specialities! I believe their Himalayan Chiya is their most popular menu item. The owner (I think she was, lovely lady) explained that they make the chai fresh every two hours because it tastes the best that way. Unfortunately that means they dump what doesn't sell :( It was in the 90s when I visited so I opted for the iced chai latte, but you bet I'll be back for the hot version. Himalayan Iced Chiya Latte ($6.50 for 12oz): I normally drink my tea and coffee without milk to get max flavor, but I quite liked the Chiya taste. Oat milk (extra $1) was recommended but I went with the whole milk at no cost lol Very cute serene area with board games and relaxing music. My only picky thing is their tables are bolted to the ground so I can't move it closer to my short legs lol Their matcha affogato looks compelling too!

A warm cozy chai place which serves Nepali chaiya. The tea was good. had nimki which is a crunchy savory side with tea to balance the sweetness of the tea. The server was friendly.

Yrs, they close@1230 but reopen for evening relaxation, non caffienated drinks available. Morning and evenings

Nepali dumplings called Mom's where the chicken is exotic and per workers Organic ingredients bales to nicely brown and just so right- the vegan were just perfect not so spicy as the Pollo. NOW I'm returning again, this time, my pov, for the MoMo's! Nice side acco.panment and requested a chutney made w Avacado, ,,-good choice for the kids a d grandma not so pungent as main but I expect to pay a higher price for chutney as it IS Real Organic Avacado! Best Indian i have ever tried, my pov as a non Indian eater-but ALWAYS Crave a good massage or rose or Himalayan chai here@CHAI AUM of Pleasanton. Way down past dow town in the Raley's plaza adjacent to Jim's Cafe, not Bill's, think Sunol Blvd off the 680 s/b, but go north after the exit to the Raleys Plaza.

Came in after lunch and ordered an Iced Chai with Oatmilk- medium sweet and a chocolate chip cookie for my kiddo. Got my order pretty quick. The chai wasn't strong enough for me but still had a good taste to it. I'm more of a HOT DIRTY CHAI typa girl but it was hella hot outside and I needed something cold. So for that reason I do need to go back and try the hot chai and will update.

Such a cozy, welcoming spot that truly feels like home. Perfect place to relax with a cup of chai and some tasty snacks. The atmosphere is super chill, and the owners clearly put so much pride and care into this new establishment. A wonderful addition to the community!

Nice ambience, pleasant and comfortable with sweet and savory snack choices and even a couple of Nepali treats. Lovely drink menu. I live nearby and glad they have opened up! They even have children's books and a couple games to keep them busy.

I love this spot to study, came twice both times good drinks and food! I think this place deserves more foot traffic, I don't leave reviews often but this spot is my favorite.

Really nice interiors and great location! I loved the customer service and enjoyed my hotel chiya, would definitely recommend and come again!

You can tell when someone truly cares about what they do, and it shows in every bite. The flavors were bold, perfectly balanced, and somehow even better than I imagined. It felt like every detail was done with passion and pride. And the person behind it all? Super kind, welcoming, and clearly talented. Watching someone put that much love into their cooking is rare these days. I walked in expecting a normal meal... and left completely blown away. If you ever get the chance to try their food, do it--you'll understand why I'm still talking about it!

The lox croissandwich was good, however, I asked for tomato because I needed an added flavor profile and the saltiness of the lox made me want more hydration in the bite. I usually don't like capers but today they were fine. Croissant was toasted nicely. Service: excellent. A pretty woman greeted us quickly and because it was such a beautiful day, she was coming out to bring our meals and drinks back and forth. She brought us our drinks. My drink was supposed to be with almond milk but I suspected it may have been regular milk. Although I disclose that I rarely order black sesame; it was very very sweet so I ended up not taking a chance and drinking it. My husband and daughter had vanilla lattes and lemonade with their breakfast bacon sandwich and salad. My daughter wanted to go there again today. (Posting a day later). The ambiance was very nice. I had never been to this downtown area. We were across the street from a really cute historic gas station. Great seating for people watching and enjoying the warming heat of summer on the patio. Really lovely experience at Bocado.

Honestly, if I could give Bravazo 6 stars, I would! We have enjoyed this spot a number of times now…read moreand loved each visit. It is a local family run restaurant that delivers amazing food consistently. The patio is our favorite spot. The fettuccine Bravazo is a perfect dish..... simply delicious and hands down my favorite! The Arroz Chaufa is also amazing along with either the fillet anticuchos or a more traditional de corazon! A side shot of Leche de Tigre is a perfect complement and we love to end our meal with the passionfruit tart! My wife and I love this spot!

Stopped by on Sunday at noon for lunch. I was looking forward to trying their empanadas that day…read moreand I was disappointed to hear they were out. I wasn't sure if the waitress said they were out of them for the day or just none at all that Sunday. Regardless, We decided to proceed with the fish of the day ceviche as a starter and I ordered the Peruvian turkey sandwich. The wait was a little long but I like to tell myself it's probably because it's fresh. Once the food came out I was relieved with how fresh and lemony the ceviche was. The thinly sliced onions with the crunch of the corn nuts and sweet potato was so refreshing. It was a light starter but the pieces of fish were pretty thick so I think it was worth the $27. My sandwich was better than I expected it to be. There were thick cuts of turkey with a spicy orange sauce and marinated sliced onions. I honestly forgot about the empanadas towards the end of the meal. The staff were super welcoming and kind so I will definitely be back and make it my mission to score some empanadas.

The staff is friendly and allows you to sample the beer if you're indecisive about what to try or just don't know where to start. Dog friendly too! Their food selection and quality is also amazing and goes FAR beyond typical bar food. I noticed that they had lots of different options for food, which I liked. We saw they had a charcuterie board on the menu and had to order. It came with 3 different cheeses, walnuts, and honey. I wish it had came with more crackers and jam but it was a great pairing with our drinks while chatting. 9/10 Next we snacked on the Bavarian-style soft pretzel, which was huge. It came with their homemade sweet red ale mustard, which was tangy, but also sweet the perfect pairing. We also got the Southwest Veggie Queso and chips, which tasted like a mix between bean dip and nacho cheese-- a10/10, I was surprised by how good it was. We also tried the summer salad, which had mainly arugula, corn, cheese, and avocado. It was like street corn but in salad form with a light dressing --9/10. Lastly, we got the Margherita flatbread, this was small but amazing. I didn't get to take a picture because it was so good it gone within minutes Super cheesy too, though a bit pricey for its size.

A very average American restaurant…read more I ordered fish and chips. My wife ordered "doozy scoozi". I know what you are thinking, what on the earth is "doozy scoozi"? It's basically buffalo chicken stuffed in pocket bread. The dishes look great (see pics)! Fish and chips are ok, I found some burnt and dried fries but overall good tartar sauce and a little dry coleslaw. But fish is pretty good. The doozy scoozi is horrible in one word. The cook/chef for some reason drenched chicken in buffalo sauce. To me, it's almost looked like curry chicken. I asked my American wife did you order curry chicken by mistake? Then I tasted from her plate. The buffalo sauce is overpowering so the stuffing becomes inedible! I gave three stars as I like everything else in the restaurant, hospitality, friendliness, the server gave water bowl for our dogs (very nice!). I don't expect much from "American cuisine" (to me it's burger and sandwiches pretty much), but come on drenching chicken in buffalo sauce is a strict no no! If the cook is reading this, please contact me and I will teach you how to make curry chicken! Put that in the bread pocket, it will be your special menu item and I guarantee it will be an instant hit, way better than your version of "doozy scoozi". Anyway, so that summarizes the 3 stars!
