Wow! We visited Blossom Bee over Fourth of July weekend, and I'm so glad they were open. We were looking for something delicious to eat, and this place exceeded every expectation. The husband-and-wife team who runs the restaurant is incredibly warm and welcoming. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I ordered the Thai basil rice dish, and it was absolutely amazing--easily one of the best meals I had during our trip. You can truly feel the love and pride that goes into this family-owned and operated restaurant. Their genuine hospitality makes you feel right at home. Honestly such a cute mom and pop shop. They are a lean operation it seems as my takeout took some time but I don't mind. The chicken basil with rice was delicious- it didn't come with salad like advertised but still delicious nonetheless! They have some outdoor seating as well. Small restaurant with big flavor! I'm not a huge crepe person, but I do love Thai food so we gave this restaurant a visit. It was a busy Sunday afternoon, and the restaurant was packed. We barely got the last available table and still the wait was long. There's an older gentlemen who owns and runs the restaurant. We're totally ok waiting a little longer for the wonderful service he provides :) We tried the royal chicken and the Thai basil chicken savory crepes. Both were delicious and the flavor on the royal chicken is phenomenal. We ordered the mango coco for dessert and it was amazing! Browsing the menu, I found the Tim yum soup then was torn between a rice plate and crepe. Ultimately I went with a crepe as I think it's their signature dish. I ordered a cup of tom yum soup and the royal crepe. The service was friendly and attentive. The soup was served piping hot and spicy. The crepe came immediately afterwards. A curry like gravy covered the crepe filled with broccoli, mushroom and chicken. The curry gravy won me over. It was an enjoyable lunch. I am Asian so I struggle with the notion of Thai food in a crêpe so I usually get mine over rice. I haven't found a better Thai place than Blossom Bee. I usually order tofu because it's delicately cooked and the sauces are not thick and heavy. My favorites are spicy eggplant and the green curry with tofu. Local, family owned restaurant that consistently has had yummy food. There's crepes and then there are Thai crepes (crepes with Thai curies). Been frequenting this business for a long time, we come here time to time. No issues with parking but it's a small restaurant and can get full at lunchtime. I have never had a problem getting seated though. I hadn't had the Thai crepe in a while and got one for myself yesterday, hit a spot. I always get the Thai Iced tea here, helps with the spice too. One of my favorite lunch spots in the Tri Valley, this little hole in the wall is the definition of a mom and pop shop. The restaurant is operated by an older couple (it seems exclusively, without staff) and they do everything from taking your order to making the meal to making smoothies to cleaning up the Chinet plates you ate your lunch on... While I am not crazy about the disposable plates and utensils, I always support small businesses, especially if they are local! I recommend the Tangy Mango smoothie, the avocado smoothie, ANY of their lunch specials, and especially their Tom Yum soup. The portions are smaller but perfect for me for lunch. I have to admit I was initially doubtful about the idea of Thai food on French crepes, but that doubt was soon dispersed when we tried the food. The savory and sweet combination actually worked well and the flavors were complimentary. The base crepes had the right level of sweetness, thickness and consistency. We tried the seafood stromboli, the massamam beef, Bangkok beef, as well as classic pad thai and chicken satay. Everything was yummy, and no wonder the place was filled out with diners. The portions were good too and we were full from our Thai fusion lunch. It would be nicer if they would use real metal utensil and china plates instead of paper plates and plastic utensils, but the food is the real show here. Don't forget the dessert crepes. We had the mixed berries crepe and the mango with sticky rice crepes. Both orders were loaded with generous fillings, and each came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and whip cream. Cutest spot hidden in an unassuming strip mall! The inside is small with only about 5 tables but very homey. It's run by an older couple with the husband taking orders and the woman working hard in the back! So sweet and pretty quick service too. For a long time we've driven by this place and wanted to give it a try. Today my daughter and I did. First, there is no indoor seating right now. It's outdoor on tables or takeout only. After our order and payment were taken at the door, we sat at one of the tables outside. There is also a table with a water pitcher and cups. The wait for our breakfast was not long at all, maybe 15 minutes. It was brought out by a very polite, quiet older gentleman who told us repeatedly that he appreciated our business. Yes, as others have mentioned, the food came out on paper plates with plastic utensils. But, that wasn't a problem at all for us. My daughter ordered a Thai tea and the Fruity Bee. It's a crêpe with cinnamon apple, cranberries, banana, pecans, honey and cottage cheese. It was topped with some very large pecans, and there was a little side salad as it was close to lunchtime. She loved it. She said it was very filling and she couldn't eat it all. She brought home about 1/4 of it, but then finish the rest of it not too long after we got in the house. I ordered the Morning Break. It is a crêpe made with bacon, spinach, mushrooms, scrambled eggs, mozzarella, and pesto. It was topped with two pieces of bacon and there was also a side salad. SO good. There was a lot of each... Big slices of mushroom, bacon, lots of spinach, just the right amount of scrambled egg and the pesto gave it a really nice flavor. The crêpe was excellent. It pains me to give this review to a small business but it was truly unacceptable in my opinion. They are currently operating as a to-go operation but still welcome you to dine outside on their tables if you please (you may be considered as "eating here" now). We came shortly after opening and ordered 4 different Thai crepes and 3 drinks. Well over 45 minutes later we still had no plates in front of us. When we asked for an update, the server pretty tersely told us "I told you it would take 30-45 minutes!". Mind you, I noticed a gentleman (and only because of his bright blue shirt) who ordered about 20 minutes after us now exiting with about 6 actual to-go orders. Shortly after, our first plate finally arrived. Unfortunately, it was just that. 1 plate. After another 15 minutes we collectively agreed that on the next plate we'd cancel the other two since we had already been sitting for an hour now. On the delivery of the second plate, we informed our server we wanted to cancel and he again met us with resistance. "No, it's coming! It's coming!" and I had to just interject with a white lie that we needed to get somewhere and just couldn't wait longer. Only then was he more amicable. It is my assumption that the large to-go order was prioritized over us and all the tables after us that decided to "eat here" and frankly, that is unfair. The day we visited, summer and balmy, no indoor seating available but they did have takeaway and outdoor seats. We opted for one of the only the 3 outdoor tables. A very attentive gentleman took ou order and delivered it with genuine grace and eagerness to please. We loved our thai iced tea and fresh avocado smoothie served in mason glasses. We ordered a sweet crepe, nutella and ice cream, and a savory thai green choli with chicken. They were both delicious and generously portioned.
