Shrimp Tempura

Neighbor restaurant that's favored by my family. This is my second time here and their dishes are delicious. So far, I've tried their Khao Soi, Massaman Beef, Tom Yum with Shrimp, ribeye crying tiger, etc. All dishes are very tasty and huge portions. Definitely plenty of leftovers for tomorrow. Service has been great. One of the wait staff recognized us and told us, "See you next week!

Called to order pickup, rung for quite awhile and thus I was about to just walk in to order (as I was in the plaza running errands already... I didn't have time to dine in). SERVICE was rude AF. I walk in. The waitress gives a pissed off stink face and crosses her arms. She retrieves my take out order and throws it on the table. Then she proceeds to want to charge me "$17.82" (she literally presses this with force on the tablet in front of me) instead of $14.82 and I'm thinking WTF. I say "thank you" and she groans. I hope she's just having a bad day because if that's the vibe every day, I would stay far far far away from this establishment. I ordered the lunch portion of the chili bamboo basil with pork. Very sweet. Five pieces of stuck together pork; although the pork is very tender. Salad looks very fresh but slathered with ultra sweet dressing. I thought there were ants every where including on the salad but it was just black char marks. I hate how they tape and wrap the plastic bag (I appreciate it's to show it has not been tampered but I hate how you can't reuse the bag now). Modern Thai decor. Casual dining. Located within a plaza and therefore lots of parking to pick from. Will I come back? With many Thai restaurants in the bay, I will go to other places as life is too short to deal with people and their attitudes.

This is a really good, wholesome Thai restaurant located conveniently near Bishop Ranch in Crow Canyon place in SRV. Service is quick and friendly with plenty of seating to accommodate small groups, and you can pickup your favorite libation next door at Total Wine on the way out.

After having monks perform a house warming ceremony it is customary for us to take them out to eat. Thai Taste was very accommodating and understanding of the traditions. Food was good and did not take too long after ordering.

Came to try out the lunch specials and I was very satisfied!! They have a huge menu with so many different options! Our server was great and very attentive. The ambiance is very pleasant and always crowded during lunch time. I ordered the Thai Basil chicken lunch and it comes with rice. I was very pleased with the flavors , the service , and the variety of options they offered.

Delicious thai spot! Went here for a group lunch, and we were able to make reservations easily with a quick phone call. Good thing we did because when we arrived, it was so busy! Despite it being busy, the servers were very attentive and we got our food pretty quickly. - Asparagus curry with pork: Really creamy curry that had a mild spice kick and was loaded with veggies. I preferred this over the mango curry because I like more spicy flavors. - Yellow mango curry with chicken: Still very good and the mango pieces were super sweet/fresh! - Spicy catfish: Probably my favorite dish. Large chunks of fish that were still crispy despite being coated in a delicious sauce. - Eggplant basil with chicken: Good as well! Your typical eggplant basil which I love. - Honey grilled pork: Came with sticky rice which was good. The pork was grilled well and not fatty at all which is great. - Pad thai with crab: This was a special when we went, and they were very generous with the amount of crab! Pad thai had a good taste as well. What really stood out was how thoughtfully prepared everything was--each dish had layered, complex flavors and felt like it was made with care. A nice bonus: many dishes come with rice included, and the portion was enough for our whole table to share without needing to order extra. Highly recommend this place if you're craving flavorful, well-executed Thai food!

I ordered for pickup. I kept seeing this spot near me and was interested as I'm a fan of Thai food. The text pickup window was pretty accurate, as when I got there right in the middle my food was already ready. The container looked deceptively small. I'm not sure if I was just really hungry or what, but it's a great size. I wouldn't have been able to finish it had it not been so tasty! My only issue, which wasn't too big of a deal, was that I got a text confirming my order had been placed, and then they send a follow up text when your order is ready. I did not get the "your order is ready" text until nearly two hours after I'd placed my initial order. In that time I had already picked up my order, driven home, eaten it, and started doing other things. All in all though, I loved the food, and I'm excited to go back and try more dishes!

Crab Fried Rice

Picked up two orders in the last few weeks. Owner is super nice. Parking can be a nightmare, entire plaza is horribly structured and cramped. Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai - If I had it in the restaurant, likely would be great. But, it does not keep well once contained. Noodles basically congealed into one huge glob. Taste was good, but a single glob of noodles is not appetizing. Crab Fried Rice - excellent! Super flavorful with quality ingredients. Will never tire of ordering this and look forward to tasting new dishes in the future.

Passable Thai Food in San Ramon. We stopped by earlier today evening after shopping nearby at Sports Basement for snow gear. We had to park a little further away than we are used to, as the few spots near the restaurant were either short duration or handicap accessible. We were seated right away and ordered drinks, a variety of appetizers, Tom Kha soup with tofu, and mango sticky rice for dessert. The food trickled in randomly, but we didn't mind as we were hungry. We all enjoyed different dishes - our tween and I preferred the chicken satay and roti with yellow curry, our teen enjoyed the samosa and tempura shrimp, the missus enjoyed the Crab Rangoon and the Tom Kha soup. The only dish we could all agree on was the mango with sticky rice, which NONE of us enjoyed! Service was just okay - they brought out Tom Yum soup instead of Tom Kha, but replaced it without a fuss. My bigger issue was that our check was brought out waaaay too early, while we were still finishing our food, and BEFORE the aforementioned dessert was served. Check was a bit over $100 after tax and tip. Will likely be back as the food was quite good.

I finally tried this neighborhood Thai restaurant and enjoyed everything. It's very clean and nicely decorated inside. The curry dumplings were tasty and I liked the combination of dumplings and curry which I had not tried before. The Thai Basil Chicken lunch special with a fried egg was very flavorful but I should have ordered it spicier. I love noodles and the Pad See Ew was delicious with lots of veggies and the noodles were stir fried perfectly. Id love to return and try more dishes especially the curries!

Thai Taste: Wow, serving Authentic and Delicious Thai Cuisine! We've done takeout from Thai Taste several times, and the food has been consistently impressive! Their dishes are authentic, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Standouts include: - Red Curry with Chicken: Sumptuous and one of the best in the Bay Area! - Thai Fried Rice with Chicken: Flavorful and tasty, a must-order! - Fresh Avocado Spring Rolls: Nice and crunchy, served with awesome peanut sauce - Chicken Satay: Grilled to perfection, paired with that amazing peanut sauce The peanut sauce, in particular, is a game-changer! Definitely recommend Thai Taste for great Thai food. If you're a fan of authentic, flavorful cuisine, you won't be disappointed! Will continue to order from here and can't wait to try more dishes!

My friend and I picked this place as it's half way between us. We came at 5pm and noticed that as the night went on, there were several times where people were waiting for tables, so this place is definitely popular! Things we ordered: *Pad thai - really good, definitely enjoyed this! *Pineapple fried rice - I personally didn't love it, though my friend did. I just thought it had a weird taste to it, but that's more personal preference *Grilled pork - also delicious! *Mango sticky rice dessert - yummy! Overall, really looking forward to coming back and trying some of their curries like the avocado curry, that had me intrigued! I will also say that the service was great! We legit stayed at the restaurant until they closed (sorry!) because we had so much to catch up on, but the servers were very sweet and kind!

It was early dinner time on a Friday evening and it wasn't overly crowded. All 6 of us got different items and overall it's a matter of preference for what kind of broth and protein you'd like that depicts the meal, the toppings are generally all the same. Consider this place to almost be a "make your own ramen" type of thing, in that you're given a platter of toppings to add to your bowl of steaming hot broth, mix it and let it sit, then voila! It's ready to eat. For a rainy winter evening, it was perfect to have some tasty noodle soup!

The service was really good, they are super on top of cleaning and serving so my food came out in about 15-20 minutes. I got the combo with an appetizer, drink, and noodle soup. The portions were pretty generous. -grapefruit tea: thought it was pretty yummy! I also tried out the super fruit tea and i really liked it but personally found it to be a little too sweet. Not too much to displease though! I mixed some water and it was perfect for me. -tomato beef brisket noodle soup: i was surprised by how tender the meat was and how much they actually give you. If you love tomato soups as much as i do then it's definitely a great option! -takoyaki & lamb skewers: my sister had one dish from her combo order and i has my own but was able to try both! The lamb skewers were a bit smaller than expected but were flavorful with a fragrant aroma. The takoyaki came in about 5 balls and while they didn't include all typical takoyaki toppings it was still pretty good considering it came as a combo! Overall, i really loved coming by this place, my main concern is that it's actually in a pretty busy plaza so parking can be a little difficult during peak business hours. Otherwise it's located in a really great area relatively close to some shopping areas such as the Livermore outlets or even other smaller shopping plazas. Give this place a try if you're in the area and looking for a good eat without breaking the wallet!

The chicken was cold, not like it had been sitting out, but more like it had just come out of the refrigerator. The peanuts were actually a nice touch and added good flavor and texture. I also liked the ginger sauce they poured over the chicken, but there really wasn't enough of it. I wish they gave extra on the side in a separate container. The side veggies were okay too.
