The restaurant is permanently closed now. The food and service was good. It's a shame it closed.

Both were full of flavor and generous portions. The last item from the HH menu was the beef sliders. This was the Belle of the Ball. Extremely delicious and, again, the right portion. Let ok'ing at the menu the prices were on par with other restaurants and we will definitely be back to enjoy a full meal and more Happy Hours. Service was friendly, knowledgeable, and refreshing. For a Wednesday early evening, 5:00, there weren't many folk so it was very quiet.

Location is perfect, ample parking nearby and ambience is super chic and cozy. Calamari- 10/10. Small portion though, we should have ordered a 2nd appetizer. Bread/Butter- it seems like they're rationing butter....the plate had enough to coat *maybe* 1.5 rolls Chilean Seabass- 9/10 Prawn Tacos 9/10 The signature bourbon drink was 10/10....wish we ordered a couple more. The hostess was kind and sat us immediately, but seemed a little stressed out, could just be due a very busy night. A warm smile goes a long way. Our waitress was Catherine, absolutely wonderful and so friendly. She was patient and sweet. The kind of hire Tides should feel lucky to have. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5....the Grey seats we were seated in are so low, felt like we had to stand up every time we reached across table and could barely hear each other. Beautiful decor but not super practical for dining. Will definitely return soon.

Which by the way , at this time their Happy Hour is Sun through Fri 3-6pm Overall experience was good, the food was great, the service was mehhh. Pros: - food consistently delicious. We loved everything we ordered. - great parking, anywhere at The Lot - beautiful space & ambiance - clean restaurant - the bar tender came to check on us & she was so friendly & pleasant (red bun , rosey cheeks) Cons: - kinda cold inside. My daughter went back to the car to wrap in a scarf - took over 10 minutes before our server greeted us - server wasn't very hospitable or friendly (blond curly ponytail)

My mom ordered the Scallops which the server forgot to order which was fine because he apologized and admitted he forgot to order them and made it up with 2 free dessert. If I remember correctly, they get some of their seafood locally, from Pillar Point Harbor, by Half Moon Bay. Other fish come from farther afield but quality and cost control is reasonable given the fact that seafood is expensive. I've never been led astray. Order at the counter, find a seat, and food will be delivered to your table. Never had their pasta before. Finally tried their fettuccine. Instead of Alfredo sauce, substituted with butter sauce. Selected shrimp with crab. OMG! So good. Pasta was perfectly al dente. Hate mushy pasta. This pasta was fully cooked but still had texture. The butter sauce was generously studded with garlic. Shrimp were large and plump. Fully cooked but not rubbery at all. Next time, will skip the crab which disintegrated into the sauce. Go all shrimp or maybe try with fish. The fried clam strips appetizer was a huge portion and totally unnecessary. The fettuccine was enough of a meal by itself. In fact, was so full after the clams, took most of the fettuccine home. Even as leftovers, the shrimp and fettuccine was so delicious for dinner the next day. To cap it off, staff from the head chef to the cashier/server were so friendly and helpful. They genuinely seem happy to work here. Only 1 suggestion, they should add a few TVs for World Cup viewing.

Fantastic Seafood Feast and Outstanding Flavor!…read more Our daughter had visited Bag O Crab with her friends previously and recommended we try it out, as she swore she had the best seafood ever here. We decided to come by on a very hot afternoon for a late lunch around 3 PM. Even at that time, the place was still busy with most of the tables occupied. Fortunately, they have a great cooling system that kept the entire indoor space cold, crisp, and comfortable. The staff is efficient and very friendly, and the overall dining experience was fantastic. Here is what we enjoyed: * Dungeness Crab Meal Bag (New Orleans Style): We ordered the Dungeness crab meal bag and opted for the New Orleans flavor style. The corn, sausage, shrimp, and crab were all remarkably flavorful and tasty. * Steamed Rice Pairing: We got two sides of steamed rice, and pairing the rice with the rich New Orleans spices from the boil bag was an absolute match made in heaven. * Mango Habanero Chicken Wings: We also tried the mango habanero chicken wings, which were cooked to perfection--crispy, spicy, and extremely good. Put on your bibs, get ready to get a little messy, and enjoy some incredible seafood! We definitely recommend Bag O Crab in the Fallon Gateway plaza for a fun family outing, delicious food, and great conversation.
