Normally our family celebrates special occasions at Tomi in SJ, but this time we decided to try…read moresomething different and came here for my brother's birthday. It was my first time experiencing an all-you-can-eat buffet in Dublin, and I have to say it left a great impression. We went for Sunday lunch, which was priced at $43.99, and I was pleasantly surprised that they included dinner menu items like steak and lobster (They are cooked fresh while you wait). While the lobster wasn't unlimited, you could add one lobster tail for $6, which I thought was a reasonable option. One of the highlights for me was the hotpot station--it was actually my first time ever seeing hotpot offered at an AYCE buffet, and it made the experience feel more unique and interactive. I also really appreciated the self-serve beverage machine, which made it super convenient to refill drinks whenever we wanted. On top of that, they had a selection of bottled drinks in the fridge, and even milk tea, which was a nice bonus you don't usually see at buffets. As for the food, there was a wide variety to choose from. I especially enjoyed the steak, which was flavorful and cooked well, along with the sushi and seafood options. They also had a good selection of Chinese dishes that complemented everything nicely. Overall, the variety and quality of the food made it feel like a great value for the price. It turned out to be a fun and memorable way to celebrate my brother's birthday. I really enjoyed the experience and would definitely come back again in the future.

5* Food 5* Service 5*…read moreAmbiance I want to return and try every single item on their menu! From the moment you walk through the doors, you are instantly made to feel joyfully welcomed. Just stepping in lifts your spirit and creates joy. The thoughtful decor and beautiful design immediately stand out, creating a special atmosphere, even if you are simply meeting friends for lunch on a weekday. I never expected to find such a stunning restaurant tucked into a shopping strip in the heart of San Ramon. One Hour Bistro is truly a delightfull find. The same attention to detail reflected in the decor is also evident in the quality of the ingredients and the incredible flavors of each dish. Crystal glasses in a Thai restaurant? YES! They also offer mocktails which I wish I had time to try and savor. I ordered the Kao Soi Braised Short Ribs, and it was absolutely stunning; beautifully presented, generously portioned, and deeply comforting. The rich broth, tender bone-in ribs, and flavorful noodles made every bite memorable. I couldn't even finish the entire dish because I wanted to savore it slowly. The Pad See Ew was a silky, heavenly treat. The rice noodles were succulent, the vegetables were fresh, and everything was coated in a rich, flavorful sauce. If your driving through San Ramon, this is a MUST try. If you live in the area, lucky you!

The food was half as good as the first time we ate here. The spaghetti the kids had were done…read morereally well and chewy. I liked that they were long hollow strains of spaghetti. Surprisingly this was one of the best dishes. The salad was mediocre as the flavors were not really Mediterranean and lacked flavor. The dressing is fine and there was salt which was nice but something else is missing. Quinoa seemed undercooked and not flavored well. Roasted garbanzos were not crunchy but tuff and hard and flavorless. The focaccia sides wasn't as buttery and flavorful with spices as before. The drink I ordered was nice but not exceptional, although I liked the rosemary smell / flavor, the drink just wasn't done well. More like a hard soda than a fancy beverage. The small ice cubes made this even more apparent. They were also out of the seafood sauce my wife wanted from her last meal so we had two other dishes and they were not impressive. We had to order multiple additional entrees since the dishes had also gotten much smaller in size compared to 6 months ago. The top it off, service was lacking. Alex at the bar was amazing the last time. We were with our children for Mother's Day today and we sat at the booth and our server wasn't horrible, but just wasn't any good. I know it was busy but she had time to be on her phone instead of providing better service kind of irked me. I wanted to give her some tips during our meal, but I hadn't brought cash with me, so my wife could enjoy her meal better. I made a comment about it being busy and all I got was one dismissive ha - no engagement. Kind of disappointed. Not sure what I was expecting but I guess more of Alex's energy and engagement and caring went a long way the last time and today's was missing. I didn't see Alex today at the bar. I hope she's still working here; otherwise, this place just isn't the same based on my experience today.

We usually go to Hang Ten, but they closed down the one that was at Southland. I looked around and found Lemon Crab. They had everything we were looking for and it was super close by! I ended up ordering online through Yelp and it was a very smooth process. When we got there to pick up our order, the staff were super friendly. We told them that we had an online order to pick up and it was already waiting for us. Everything was sooo amazing! The flavors were delicious and it was not bland or too salty. Everything paired so well with rice and we just couldn't get enough. We definitely will be ordering again from here! Amazing place and looking forward to trying out stuff on the menu.

It was on one of our places to check out after seeing an influencer go here. It's a small restaurant with limited seating outside but plenty of parking outside. We got clam chowder, white rice, and combo #1 with shrimp head on, crawfish, and clams (extra $2) with lemon crab medium spicy sauce. Service was just okay. It was hard to flag them down even though it's not a big space. The clam chowder wasn't very hot. It was cool at the top and a bit warm at the bottom. The white rice just wasn't soft at all :/ The combo was alright. No complaints on the quality of the seafood.

To start on a positive note, our server Mike was attentive and provided good service throughout the evening. However, the food quality did not meet expectations, especially given that our meal was nearly $400. * The sautéed white gulf prawns were average * The salads were fine * The boneless ribeye (ordered medium rare) came out rare and was very fatty/gristly * The hamburger was dry * The petite filet was undercooked (rare instead of medium rare) * The lobster was overcooked and chewy * Sides were acceptable but did not make up for the issues with the main dishes There was also confusion about lobster availability when ordering, which added to the inconsistency of the experience. This was meant to be a meaningful birthday dinner, which made the experience especially disappointing. I did try to contact the restaurant directly through their website form and by calling multiple times but have not received any response. Based on past visits, we expected much better and hope the restaurant improves its quality and consistency.

We informed the receptionist and our server; both were courteous, professional, and accommodating. We received our food shortly after placing our orders. The charm of the restaurant is endearing, which made our short lunch enjoyable. The food was good and convenient for a business lunch. The beef ravioli was delicious and filling. The gnocchi was not as we hoped it would be. The texture of the gnocchi was dense and heavy, but the sauce was savory and creamy. I would love to return and try other items on the menu to have a better understanding of other items. This charming spacious restaurant has a lot of love.

The server seemed confused and just left the entrées sitting off to the side. My wife ordered the Chicken Parmesan, and the pasta appeared to have been sitting under a heat lamp for quite a while -- much of it was dried out around the edges. We sent the Chicken Parm back and declined a replacement, but it took so long for the plate to be cleared that I had already finished my pasta by the time it was addressed. The timing completely threw off our meal and left us both frustrated. We also asked twice for more bread and dipping sauce and never received it. It made for a very disappointing Valentine's Day. This used to be our go-to spot for a nice dinner, but after this experience, we'll likely be looking elsewhere.
