Came to pick up a couple of poke bowls to go. Parking in the shared lot was easy and plentiful. They have a couple of tables outside and a handful of tables inside. The employee was helping a couple ahead of me and did greet people as they walked in and worked quickly. I got 2 large poke bowls and while they have a lot of ingredients to choose from, some are included and others are either $1 or $2 more each, so it can add up depending on what you order. The food was okay, but the overall experience was disappointing. The staff member preparing the food was not friendly -- no greeting, no thank you, and a very stern expression the entire time. I honestly felt uncomfortable, almost like I was bothering them or owed them money. What concerned me more was that the food preparer was handling food without wearing a face covering/mask while preparing food. This made me worried about saliva droplets potentially coming into contact with the food and raised concerns about hygiene standards. 3 Stars for service - the food is fine, the place is fine. Not super welcoming to eat in as it's dark but there are a few seats available. The staff are kind. However, there aren't enough staff working here. On several trips, it has taken half hour to get our poke bowl because there are a handful of customers and only one staff building the very customized bowls. There is a staff member in the kitchen working as well. Twice now my orders through Uber Eats has been cancelled due to them not being able to accommodate. Staff can move a little faster sometimes, but seems to be a general lack of staffing especially during busier times (later half of the week, dinner). Because it was so hot, I waited in the car with the dog, the air conditioning running. My wife went in and placed the order and waited while it was prepared. A few customers had exited as we were figuring out what we wanted. She was the only customer to order and the one man working the counter took her order and prepared it. Other guests arrived and more employees came out from the back to help them. The gentleman wanted to know what we wanted for each section of our bowls, while making both bowls at the same time. She was quite happy with her bowl. I won't say that I wasn't happy BUT there was a hint of spice in my bowl and I did not order anything that should have been spicy. Overall, while we enjoyed our bowls, it seems like these were the smallest portioned "large" Poke bowls that we've ever received. Flavor and texture wise, they were on point. Stopped by Poke Don in San Ramon because I was craving a poke bowl. The place has a nice setup and plenty of topping options to customize your bowl just the way you like it -- definitely a plus! The guys here are very nice and their shop is nice and clean. They don't have all the chairs down for seating but they have a couple of tables outside. I ordered the small bowl which comes with two proteins and half brown rice and half spring mix. And, a fountain soda from the fancy Coke machine that has lots of choices. My proteins were salmon and tuna with a small scoop of the crab salad, seaweed salad, cucumbers, onions and furikake. I don't like to pay for the extras such as avocado. My 3 rating is for the portion of fish. Very tight on the scoop, very tight. The guy took the scoop and scraped it in the container to get it packed. I chose the house sauce and spicy mayo. I put a splash of the house soy sauce for a little added flavor. The business is a 4, just lighten up on the scoop since I'm paying almost $13. Please support this local business. read more

Food quality is still there, but service and portions sizes are still decreasing. Every time I visit, the prices seem to go up, with new price labels taped all over the menu. The service is always very mediocre with one worker working at a time, even at peak hours which can make the line very long. Came in to pickup dinner one guy in line, worker was having a personal conversation with customer, took at least 5 minutes to acknowledge me and say "Ill be right there for you". Still no seating inside or restrooms to use. Even after a year of indoor eating. The portions are very skimpy compared to other locations, even with price increase. Typical poke place with base, proteins, toppings, etc.. I got the ahi and albacore which were both very tender and flavorful. What I liked the best was the pickled cucumber options. The protein portions are a bit smaller than competitors but everything else were good portions. It had been a while since we've been there due to the hours as they close fairly early. It will be a very small lunch even if you go with a large bowl Conclusion is it is just hard to have a good amount of poke and be economical at the same time in the Bay Area Like their variety of poke and toppings. The server guy who is there most of time is rude, ridiculous and has no manner as a food server. He always looks unhappy and is not friendly at all. I go there occasionally but ruin my feelings whenever I stop by there to get the poke bowls. The most recent visit was bad so I decided to not give any tip to him while I gave tips all the time until then because of his attitude and the amount of food items that he put in my poke bowl, then as soon as he found out I didn't give any tip to him, he gave me a dirty look . Who cares how he looked at me because he didn't deserve to get any tip from me. Hopefully, the owner of the restaurant read my review so the server guy can get some time to think about how bad his attitude has been to customers and the way he serves to customers can be analyzed.
