Me and my boyfriend were in the area doing errands and we were hungry. We came across this place and wanted to try it out. The interior is small with a couple of tables available to sit from. The menu was pretty easy to read and they had a variety of items to choose from! Medium Poke Bowl(5/10): For my base I got half kelp noodles and cucumbers. For my protein I got salmon, marinated tuna, and volcano tuna--mixed with spicy mayo and spicy poke house sauce. For toppings I had spicy tuna, spicy crab mayo, corn, green onions, masago, mango, kimchi, black tobiko, and pickled radish. I thought the choices I made were lackluster. I felt like there was a lot of kelp noodles, and it didn't add flavor. I didn't like the marinated tuna cause I felt like it was more on the sweeter side. The volcano tuna was super spicy, but the flavor profile was there. I think if I were to choose my protein again, it wouldn't be those options. Service(10/10): The worker was super nice and friendly. They were pretty fast and it looked like it was just one person working at the store. No complaints here. Overall, I don't think I'll be coming here again, but it was still worth a try!

Food was tasty. Ambiance was simple take out store, no tables. Service was fast. Wished the extra toppings included had more choices.

Lilo and Stitch made a huge mistake and completely forgot to represent the poke from Hawaii. Trying Authentic Hawaiian style Poke from a good place will send you straight into a plane all the way to Hawaii. Unfortunately poke from the Bay Area doesn't do Hawaii any justice and Local Poke isnt a break from the routine and is true disappointment. I wish I could say that Im exaggerating, but ive tried this place twice. This place was lucky that I even considered giving it a second chance and yet again a huge let down. I searched high and low constantly scrolling through yelp, google, and Uber Eats trying to find Poke Nachos with Wonton Chips. As delicious and simple as that sounds it's a dish that is extremely difficult to get right. I say this because ive tried so many places that have this exclusive dish and it's been a struggle. I ordered the Poke Nachos twice and there's two variations that this place has to offer: Fresh Poke Nachos and the Marinated Poke Nachos. Now I will say that the fresh poke nachos weren't that bad. The crab salad was good, portion was generous, and the fish wasn't that bad. However, I thought the Marinated Poke Nachos would be exactly what I was looking for. Both Nacho dishes the Wontons reeked of the nastiest smell ever. It smelled extremely dirty as if the frying oil that they used had not been changed since my last visit to Hawaii which was over 8 months ago....yeah it was that bad. The fish also stank so badly and had that dirty fishy oder that we all love. I had two chips with the fish and immediately gagged. Huge disappointment and after that I dont think I could give this place a second chance. so Hawaii wins this one and I guess the Poke thats Local to the bay has no chance in being a fraction as satisfying. the only thing this place has going for it is the presentation, but other than that nothing. take your picture for instagram and then throw away whatever you ordered from here because trust me I took one for the team.

If you want fresh, filling, and affordable poke, this is one of the better options around Livermore/Pleasanton. If you're chasing ultra-authentic Hawaiian-style poke, you might find it a bit "mainland-style"--but still very good. You can walk in, customize exactly what you want, and be out the door with a fresh bowl in under 5-10 minutes in many cases. That's a big part of why people see it as a go-to spot for a quick lunch or casual dinner rather than a sit-down experience. I highly prefer the poke nachos! You'll really get the bang for your buck on that one!

I didn't know this place was here at all but it looks like it's been here awhile !!! We came here on sat to grab some lunch . I wasn't very hungry so we split a large bowl , they also have a poke nachos option or a sushi bake option which looked super yummy too . We got the large bowl which comes with your choice of 4 scoops of fish , toppings and sides. The fish was really fresh and the rice was hot and fresh as well . They were making a new batch of white sushi rice which would have taken another 15 min to be ready so we just went with the brown rice . Free yakult per person if you want ! Next time I want to come back and try the nachos . On a side note this plaza has changed a lot , the Trader Joe's that was here previously has been taken over by an Indian grocery store . There is also another indian restaurant in this same plaza as well . The stores here are starting to reflect the demographic change of this area more and more .

I've been wanting to try Local Poke for a while because their menu has nachos, and I love poke nachos. Since I was in the area, I finally stopped by. I actually wanted something a little healthier that day and wasn't craving nachos, so I ordered a medium bowl instead. One of the main reasons I came here is because they offer marinated poke, which I really prefer. It reminds me of Hawaii. Most places around here just toss raw fish in sauce at the last minute, so they never taste as flavorful as a true marinade. Spots that serve marinated poke are hard to find, so this was a big win for me. For protein I got the marinated local ahi and the volcano ahi. Both were really good. The fish quality was solid and not dry or stringy like some other places. For my side I chose spicy crab and spicy tuna. It was interesting to see spicy tuna listed as a side since it is usually offered as a protein. Overall this was a delicious poke bowl and Local Poke is now one of my favorite spots in the East Bay. Aloha Fresh and Santos Market in San Jose are still at the top for me, but this place is definitely up there. The customer service was great and they even include a Yakult with your order which is a nice little bonus since it is a probiotic drink.

My go-to for poke nachos in this area. The wonton chips are crispy, toppings are loaded, and portion size is awesome. Definitely shareable and worth the $20 takeout price!

I'm on my summer poke hype and I was traveling to the Bay Area and stopped by this place. The pics on yelp and the reviews made it look promising so I was like "sure why not". I get there and noticed alot of ppl sitting around waiting for food. Which was kind of weird because the person behind the counter wasn't really making anything. Weird but whatever. I proceed to order and the first thing that was kind of a bad experience was the glass wall between you and the server. It's pretty high. So it was hard for the person to hear us. It wasn't particularly noisy but I had to repeat myself at least 3 times per ingredient. Which after the 4th ingredient I was getting kind of annoyed. I'm a loud person. Not soft spoken at all. Oh well. What can you do. I get my food and it was just ok. I don't think I'll be back. I also found out all the people waiting were waiting for Sushi bakes. Which they didn't have on their main menu but there was a pic of it on the wall to the right and behind you if you are trying to order. I think I would've enjoyed that more.

We went to Local Poke to grab lunch. There are tables outside but no inside dining. The shop was empty when we arrived although it was lunch time. The server took our order and made our bowls. The food was fresh and tasty.

We were in the area and were looking for a good Poke restaurant to get our cravings satisfied! Local Poke had good reviews so we decided to check it out. The restaurant is fairly small and tucked away but easy to get to right off the highway. There is a decent amount of seating, both indoor and outdoor. Although it was windy, we decided to sit outside. The Poke was tasty and fresh. They offer a couple of different sizes; I opted for the large and it was filling! I enjoyed the fact they have a lot of options and offerings. You start at the right of the counter and move left as they make your bowl. The menu up top gives you step by step instructions on what and how much you are allowed to pick. Overall, good food and experience. Pricing was decent. I will be back if I'm ever in the area and in the mood for Poke!

This was my second visit here. Apparently, I didn't write a review the first time. I wouldn't have come back if it hadn't been a positive experience, so there's that. Around 1pm on a Saturday afternoon, there were two tables in use in front of the restaurant when we arrived. There was also a line of five guests ordering or waiting to order. Two employees were working the food prep line and at least two additional employees in the back. The ordering process is pretty straight forward like many other poke shops. You order your size, base, proteins, sides, mix-ins, sauces and then toppings. Then you pay and they hand you your order. Napkins, chopsticks and forks are on a small table in the dining room. She ordered a "standard" menu item: Medium Main - on brown rice, no changes to what was listed on the menu. I had: Large - on brown rice, 1 scoop of hamachi, 1 scoop of shrimp, 2 scoops of salmon (I originally wanted 2 scoops of hamachi but they didn't have enough, so he gave me 1 scoop and what was left in the pan). My sides were avocado and krab salad. I got corn and edamame as mix-ins, poke sauce and for toppings, mango. We both agreed that the fish was fresh and the food was delicious. Because of this, we would come back when in the area. Service was adequate with some minor hiccups. At one point, a young lady came from the back and started assembling my orders. Mid-point, one of the guys stepped in and took over and sent her back to the back. At another point, while assembling a customer's order, he stepped away to carry some food totes out to either a manager's or owner's vehicle. Nothing was said to the guest that was waiting for his order. I would consider this poor customer service from the employee as well as the manager/owner. If it was urgent for her to get the order to her car and she couldn't carry them herself, she should have moved her car to the backdoor and between her and the young lady, could have accomplished the task without interrupting the business flow.

Came here while visiting a friend and really enjoyed it! We ordered through phone ahead because while my friend was picking me up from the train station, it was within an hour of their closing time. We both ordered the Sushi Bake with added avocado and some wonton chips with unagi sauce. It was absolutely delicious!!! And VERY filling. We both only got halfway thru our sushi bakes until we were already feeling full. The sushi bakes do come with a pack of seaweed also! The chips were also great. The inside had only a bit of sitting space but there is outdoor seating as well. There didn't seem to be a bathroom, so heads up! Overall, really enjoyed my sushi bake

Poke was good, I like all the mixins and toppings that they offer. I got a medium with half brown rice half mixed greens, main (salmon avocado mixture), local (ahi tuna shoyu mixture), and hamachi. My sides were spicy crab salad and wonton chips. Plenty of food and fish tasted fine. Probably will try to get more plain fish next time so I can taste the fish flavor more. Service was a little off though... I walked in and it was sooo quiet: no music, no greeting, barely talking from taking orders. It wasn't the most welcoming I've felt walking into a food establishment. But the gentlemen were fast on top of making online orders.

I called ahead for a couple of spam musubis and was told it will be ready within 10 - 15 minutes - upon arrival, it was ready. The employee who took my order on the phone was pretty impatient and overall rude - he had an attitude. The spam musubis are sold individually, unlike most of the other Hawaiian BBQ spots, but the pricing is similar, if you were to get two pieces here compared to an order of two at the other spots. The musubi was a bit smaller in size compared to other spots though - it was more narrow / skinny like a rectangle, instead of the block / brick size. Overall, it was decent for a quick snack because they were the only musubi spot opened at night in this area that I found.

We had it Sunday at the farmers market and again Thursday at the farmers market; it was that good! It's simple, not overdone. Which is perfect. Fresh ahi, sesame, avocado, onion, sauce. Over rice, or your choice of base. It's a little pricey but it is 100% worth it. When comparing to other poke places around, it's a little higher but the quality smacks those in the face, so it makes sense. The fish is so fresh tasting, melts in your mouth. Highly, highly recommend. So nice to have a nice light, refreshing food truck option in lieu of all the fried stuff. Plus, the guy who runs the truck is so friendly. So nice. Reminds me so much of being in Hawaii and getting that ohana treatment. The truck looks clean and well taken care of which makes me feel good about the cleanliness standards he holds. You also have to pay more just to get rice with your fish (if ordering a "poke boat") which feels like a rip off in my opinion. Ahi tuna ($14 for 1/2 lb) itself is solid and good quality for what it is in this area. The sauce is described as a sesame soy sauce with spicy mayo. It's on the sweeter with some savoriness, light on the sesame, and not so much salty. I do like the flavors, but the poke isn't marinated long enough for them to seep through the whole fish chunks. Has a very slight kick from the chili flakes.

We ordered mango and kinako (a roasted soybean flour commonly mixed with sugar). These are large desserts! It takes time to make them since there are fresh ingredients inside. The mango was superb with little bits of fresh mango buried inside the ice. Not sickeningly sweet like the syrups most places use. My husband's had little mochi pieces mixed inside. It is common to add kinako to mochi so this was a bonus and a nice surprise. The kinako dessert was sweeter than the mango. Please know that there seems to be no a/c in this little shop but she has fans going. We went in the late afternoon so it was really uncomfortable inside. I had to leave and wait outside until the dessert was ready. It's hard to take these home as it melts fast so we sat inside to enjoy them. It was like heaven in my mouth and it cooled me down instantly. You must be patient as it takes at least 10-15 minutes for her to prepare the desserts but it is worth the wait! There is a small parking lot right in front shared with other businesses. Located right off the freeway behind Burger King.

I arrived at 3:01 pm on a Monday, literally 1 minute after they opened and I was the 4th in line... it took around 10-15 minutes for my turn at the register. Then I sat down to wait for my order and when they called the next person's name, it was for the 2nd person in line.... Wait what?? I literally continued to wait and watch the guy preparing the shaved ice orders at the speed of a turtle, errr more like a tortoise actually. He was the only one besides the cashier working at first but then another guy shows up and instead of jumping on the second shaved ice machine (that was not being used at all), to speed up the orders, he just looks lost as he restocks some cups and lids etc... like HELLO there is a LINE OUT THE DOOR NOW, what are ya'll doing? The cashier was very friendly and chatted a little too much with customers which caused her to be slow as well. I got to the store and was in the line at 3:01 pm and I didn't leave with my shaved ice until 3:44 pm! I was the 4th order of the day! I almost had to leave with out my Oder and tell them I'd come back later to pick it up as I had to be somewhere at 4pm... I think it would be best if the shop utilized a kiosk or multiple kiosk for customers to place orders (the store has signs stating that its cashless anyway and it's 2026), and dedicate their staff to preparing the orders faster... two machines and two people at least making the orders and one person restocking supplies and bussing the tables as needed. It's shaved ice and smoothies/slushies... it should not take 43 minutes. It should be more like 5 to 10 mins at the most. It's not like the people in front of me had large groups either , there was one person, then a group of 2, then group of 3, then just me. Anyway until they staff that second ice shaver machine and train the current "chef" to speed it up, plan on waiting for aT least 40-60 minutes to finally enjoy the perfectly delish shaved ice you've been craving all day/week/month/year/however long
