We ordered 5 rolls for 3 people and we should've ordered 6 because they were amazing!! So many great options and lots of great flavors. Their menu is organized really well so that we can order from each section. As a note everything was spicy!!!! Even if we didn't want it spicy it was They offered us green tea ice cream which was nice

Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. The only things edible were the teriyaki chicken (surprisingly tender) and the gyoza. First time I've ever been served a sashimi platter with all of the same types of fish... Wtf is this ? And it was also all just prefrozened stuff that wasn't fresh. Had to smother in sauce to get it down and the horseradish (fake wasabi) wouldn't even mix into the soy sauce. The OMG roll we ordered was misleading and looked nothing like the photos. The other roll I ordered was just completely covered in spicy mayo and was all I could taste. Probably to cover the not so fresh fish. The spicy mayo wasn't mentioned on the menu otherwise I wouldn't have ordered it. Can we all stop smothering rolls in spicy mayo and calling this sushi? Japanese people everywhere and my taste buds continue to be appalled. The mixed tempura was almost $20 and they couldn't even give us two pieces of shrimp? My boyfriend loves shrimp so I told him to eat the shrimp and he had to spit it out cuz it tasted already spoiled. He loves everything shrimp and couldn't even eat it. This place was a sorry excuse for dinner. I couldn't eat almost everything I ordered.

The sushi is decent. The service is fine. They're friendly. Food comes out fairly quickly. The restaurant is clean, small, with Japanese decor. We ordered: Beef Udon Tempura Mix - good. Not greasy. Sukiyaki - Nice flavor but the beef was tough and had a funky taste. Not a lot of restaurants serve sukiyaki. Salmon Sashimi and Tempura Bento Box Salmon Sashimi - must be good because my hubby ordered more after he ate his bento box. Salmon skin hand roll - yummy! I love how the skin is crispy!

Went to Kaki Sushi with my Son. Always good food. I ordered the Pork Katsu. My son ordered the Sashimi Deluxe dinner. And we split a Spicy Tuna and Spider roll. Started with Miso soup and green salad. I think it's pretty hard to screw up miso soup. And salad was a salad. My tonkatsu was very moist and came with a small container of tonkatsu sauce on the side with 3 slices of Takuan (pickled daikon). Tonkatsu also came with a small bowl of rice. My son's sashimi looked fresh. A good amount of 4 types of fish (Saba, Ahi, Sake, and Hamachi). The spicy tuna roll was 6 pieces. And I think the spider roll had 5 pieces. Little smaller portions than at other places but tasty. Service was good. Servers are always very nice and courteous. Food came out promptly. Was kinda surprised that my Tonkatsu came out before my son's sashimi dinner.

Was invited to come here for lunch! There is such a big variety to choose from! I loved the bento options! The kids menu was dry suitable for my kids and they finished everything! The service was great and fast! The place is cute and dark like. Very cute atmosphere. Food was very yummy! I can't wait to come back!

Kaki sushi is a great restaurant with a cozy ambiance. We ordered 3 rolls and a fried squid ring appetizer. Food came out quickly and hot. The service was great as well since we always felt attended to. It started to get busy by the end of our meal but it was nice since we didn't feel rushed out the door to make room for others. I will say that the restaurant itself is on the smaller side but we did sit closer to the front of the restaurant so I'm not sure the actual size of the restaurant if it would be good for larger parties.

I think this is always a solid place to go when you're in the Tri-Valley and looking for good sushi with a little to no wait time. I definitely have my favorites that are further out or always have long waitlists, but if you're craving sushi last minute, you can always count on Kaki! The service is always great, the staff is very attentive and friendly! So it's still a solid choice for those reasons.

Just ran across this restaurant on a recent business trip. Service was friendly, attentive and helpful. Food came quickly and was on point. Light and crispy tempura, tender teriyaki chicken and fresh sushi. I also loved their salad dressing and the miso soup. I will absolutely return on my next trip to this area. A great find for sure.

Sushi indoor dining. Takeout available. Lots of options for Bento boxes and rolls. Some Korean-Japanese fusion items like Hwe Dub Bop and Short ribs. Nigiri and sashimi was okay. Average service. All employees wore masks and gloves. Easy strip mall parking.

As long as we started ordering during lunch hours, we have 90 minutes to finish eating from the lunch menu. Yay! Weekday AYCE Lunch ($27.99): This is quite a darn deal. Doesn't matter that sashimi, sushi apps, and short rib aren't included. You still get ALL the rolls, other apps, hibachi, nigiri, and loads more. The self serve station for a variety of salads and fruits was nice. My favorites were the salmon and tuna hand rolls, thick cuts of fish! Baked salmon roll is a classic, and I loved every roll we ordered. They also have single serving ice cream with fun flavors like lime and orange. Everything came pretty quickly besides the baked rolls and hibachi, which had an anticipated wait. The tempura was elite as another reviewer raved. The clay pot rice and chicken katsu curry rice sounded really good, but I was scared of being too full lol. I'll share it with someone next time! The space was clean and they played loudish R&B. Will be back to try AYCE dinner offerings :)

Shinkai does-- automatic plus for me. I ordered the Sushi Crafter Box and salivated as it being walked over to my table. It looked so satisfying that I didn't even want to dig in. But of course I had to. It was incredible! I normally don't love fatty tuna because the texture can be inconsistent and veiny but it was soft and not veiny at all! My fiance ordered 2 rolls, and a sashimi appetizer and loved it all. We were able to share everything we ordered and both left very satisfied. The service was fantastic, waters being refilled without having to ask and the restaurant was clean. It is a bit small unfortunately but that's just to say, expect wait times!

Flavors and seasoning all balanced well, they put shiso leaf bits in between under the typically gamier fish and rice. Savory roe bits dot the top of some of the stronger tasting fishes. And 8pc were only $40. Salmon rolls (salmon salmon) and (orange ocean) were both good. Nice citrus hit in orange ocean but doesn't overpower - salmon salmon roll had good crisp and umami from the fried skin. The sashimi platter was solid - nothing that blew my mind but it was pretty good quality fish, only minor complaint was it was cut into oddly shaped chunks and not consistent in texture between each bite Also they gave a LOT of plum wine, not skimpy at all!

It used to be you can only join where you come near the restaurant. It must be only for busy days like Mother's Day? There was a sheet offering specials for Mother's Day, cocktails, mocktails, a kurobuta pork belly and 2 desserts. We ordered our usual fare. Great service by Ariel, she handled everything as a pro, even with the crazy business. Food came out with no delay. The only change that we noticed id the teriyaki beef. The rib eye was usually so tender and juicy, everybody that we invited here were amazed how tender and great they were. Yes, we came here quite often, and brought every and all out of town guests here. But today they were tough, on the dry side, even though cooked Rare and MediumRare. All 3 steaks. So disappointed. We finished with the Biscoff cookie sundae, which they had for Valentine, a tempura fried ice cream dessert with crumbles of Biscoff cookies and caramel drizzles. So good. The room was busy with laughter and guests enjoying the food and company on this holiday.

The fried oysters were also a great size and came with two dipping sauces, which was a nice touch. The maze ramen was a big portion and even my toddler enjoyed it. The standout for me was the tempura ice cream--perfectly crisp with a thin, light shell. Service: Our server was friendly, efficient, and very accommodating. However, the host experience was frustrating. The Yelp waitlist wasn't working on a busy Friday night, which seemed to cause some disorganization. We were quoted a 25-minute wait for a party of three, but ended up waiting 45 minutes. During that time, multiple parties of three who arrived after us were seated first. When I checked in at 35 minutes, I was told we were "next," but that didn't seem to reflect what was happening. At 45 minutes, after checking again and explaining how long we'd been waiting, we were seated immediately. It was confusing and especially difficult with a hungry toddler. Parking: Parking can be tricky. The restaurant is located under an apartment complex with limited guest spots on the first floor of the garage. If it's full, you'll have to exit and find street parking (which is minimal) or park across Dublin Blvd and walk. Overall: This was close to a perfect experience. The food and server were great, but the disorganized wait and host interaction took away from it. Hopefully they improve their system for busy nights, especially if the Yelp waitlist goes down again.

With so many options in the area I decided to try this spot out that didn't have too many reviews…read morebut it had a good amount of positive reviews. I came in around 6pm and when I walked in there was 1 other table there and not busy. I would say it's a small spot that seats less than 50 people but it was nice and clean. I decided to get two rolls and a 6 piece nigiri that comes with a hand roll. Gorilla Roll - 9/10. I'm always a sucker for seared rolls. The salmon being seared gives it extra sweetness and the siracha mayo actually had a nice kick it to it and wasn't just sweet. The fried shallots on top added nice texture being crunchy with extra flavor. This was my favorite roll. Rosewood Roll - 8/10. You can taste that the fish is fresh. If you like salmon and tuna I would get this roll. What I liked about it as well was the spicy crab on top which carried a small amount of spice but adds to the flavor. Moriwase - 9/10. It comes with 6 nigiri and a hand roll. Again the fish is fresh and has good flavor. The portion was normal, definitely not small. The nigiri comes with a brush of soy sauce so no need to dip, but feel free to. I just wish it had some more wasabi cause I didn't taste any. It came with a spicy tuna hand roll which I liked a lot because it had a good kick. Service was great even though I was the only one in there after the table before me left but the lady was very nice and attentive. She even offered some home made dessert that was packaged in a cute box after having some small convo. I talked to the sushi chef and he's been making sushi for over 15 years and I could tell that he puts some passion in his craft. He told me everyone says the fish is fresh but he really tries to make the flavor known which I think he executed well. They also get their fish flown/delivered on Tuesdays/Thursday. If you're in the area I would recommend trying this spot. It's definitely a safe option and I'll be coming back to try the other items.

That said, phone sounds blasting from the kitchen does seem a bridge too far for me personally. It's just not professional and totally kills the possibility of an enjoyable meal. Service was friendly, but on the slow side. The atmosphere is super informal, featuring posters of food that is not actually on the menu. Food wise, it was OK. The miso soup was pretty expensive. The best dish by far was the futo-maki roll. Really good flavor for a vegetarian roll. The 'fresh crab' in the other roll we ordered was not good. Rice being IMO the most important element in sushi was executed well, but my chirashi had all the fish served fridge cold and with pretty rough, haphazard cuts. For the overall price of the experience, it just doesn't seem worth it.
