BEST TENDON IN TOWN! To be honest, I didn't know tendon was tempura served over a bed of rice until I came here. My husband was the one who introduced me to this restaurant after he came here with some friends. He was raving about it so of course I had to try for myself. We decided to stop by for dinner on a Saturday around 6pm, and we were surprised that there wasn't a line given the high reviews on Yelp. Our server was really friendly and started us off with some free appetizers after we ordered! The miso soup, salad, and japchae were tasty. We ordered two tendon bowls - Ari and Chicken. Tempuras were nice and crispy and wasn't too salty like other places. My favorite was the shrimp. The Ari Sushi was also extremely tasty and had the perfect crunch and sauce in every bite. Would love to come back to try other items on their menu. Glad that there is such a great restaurant in Dublin that I can swing by the next time I'm in town.

First time here. The tendon was good. Nice presentation. Sushi was good. Wished they didn't use imitation crab for their sushi and etc Or wished it was labeled as imitation on the menu.

Been here a couple times and I always leave super satisfied. The modern/clean ambiance, friendly staff, on top of the amazing food makes it so worth! The only thing I'd change is to put less rice in the rolls. My favorite dish is the omakase by far. Will be coming back for sure!

Ari Sushi and Tendon was a great dining experience. The service was friendly, the food was good. The tendon was good, very filling. Having the soft boiled egg to mix with the rice was delicious. The fish was very fresh. Overall, great experience and we will be back!

Second time trying this please for bento style lunch. First time was delivery and today I picked it up. This place is setup very nicely. Nice, bright, clean, happy modern feel inside. The staff is very pleasant as well. I love the combo of items when you get them tempura. Most places give you mostly starchy veggies for the most part, which can all taste like a potato. The side salad is always fresh and I'm obsessed with the dressing. The sushi portions (well all the portions) are also quite generous with perfectly reasonable prices, which we all appreciate these days.

Always pleased to come back to Ari, super clean dining environment, friendly staff and delicious food. Maybe I haven't been back for a while but they added a lot more items on their menu. Come here and you won't regret.

Delightful new sushi place in Dublin! Beautiful sushi rolls and crispy fried tempura bowls, along with appreciated touches like complementary items - miso soup, japchae, corn salad, and a golf ball-sized scoop of melon sorbet. The owner and staff were so friendly and accommodating in letting our dog hang out on the patio with us, and speaking to every table to ask how everyone's meal was.

The place is excellent and the fish is so fresh, great prices, and service was impeccable from the super kind Asian woman. Way underrated and really good food.

Cute spot with plenty of seating and open floor plan where you can see the chefs preparing the sushi. The host was very sweet and checked in with us often. The rolls were creative and very filling.

First time trying with friends. They've been there once few years ago and not liking it. Mostly because of their price. They decided to give them another try so I tagalong. Okay, looking at the menu, I wanted to try their lunch nigiri mix, but with uncertainty, we asked the server how big the portion is. The server came back and told us they only serve 7 nigiri (they did mention the size is small) and that's it. Wow, with the price of $23 and I could only get 7 small nigiri? No way. We then all tried their lunch set, but unfortunately, nothing special. The price does not worth it at all. They started with serving miso soup and jaepchae as appetizers. But once the lunch set was served, I went speechless. Their portion was extremely small and sauce was everywhere. Where my California roll and salad were drowned in the sauce. I ordered spicy chicken, but seems like only the 4 pieces of California roll has rice, I don't see they came with rice. Didn't surprise me with their taste either. The lunch set came with a small "dessert", which was shaved sugar ice. I tasted nothing but sweet, dead sweet. Overall experience was not pleasant, store looks nice and clean but food and price is not, not enough to make me go again.

Unfortunately this was the first time, I just expected a place to be good and it wasn't. It could be that this was because we went in during a weekday lunch time but it wasn't at all what we expected. We have been eating sushi around the bay area (from Satomi Sushi in Union City to Kurasake SF and then local spots in Tri Valley) but this place didn't meet that expectation. Only one thing I absolutely loved was their complimentary salad (fresh) and the scoop of shave ice (so flavorful and fresh).

We were excited to find a tendon place in the bay, so we made the trek from San Jose on a Monday evening. We got here around 6:30pm - it wasn't too busy, we got seated right away. The servers were very nice and attentive. We ordered hot tea to help with the chill. For foods we got: - anago tendon - soft shell crab tendon - 15pc chef's choice sashimi - amaebi nigiri - seared scallop nigiri We were served soup, salad and what seemed like japchae-style noodles. The noodles were surprisingly really, really good and flavorful. Our favorites were the nigiris. The sashimi was fresh but pretty basic and nothing special (probably wouldn't get this again). Unfortunately, the tendons were just okay. There wasn't enough sauce and it really lacked flavor. The tempura also wasn't as crispy. I've had better tendon in SoCal tbh. I did appreciate the self-serve ginger and pickled garlic at the table, these were yummy! I also noticed that everyone else who ordered hot tea got their own hot tea pot, and we didn't (just two cups, where the servers would have to come refill them). At first, I thought that maybe it was exclusive to tables with 3+, but a table of 2 next to us got a tea pot. We had to ask for more for hot tea a couple times. Not a big deal but something to note. All in all, did it satisfy our tendon craving? Surrrreeee. Will we drive from San Jose for this place, and for this place only? Probably not. Honorable mention: I like how noticeably clean and tidy the restaurant was and also liked the cute, simple, refreshing decor.

It seems that the ownership or management of this place changed sometime between my first visit in June 2024 and my last in August 2024. Previously, they used to offer a free dessert at the end of the meal, but under the new management, that perk has been discontinued. The restaurant still has shelves next to each table stocked with common items you'd typically ask the server for, allowing you to help yourself. These include utensils, cups, napkins, condiments, sauces, and more. During my most recent visit, the restaurant seemed a bit short-staffed, so the self-service shelves made sense as a practical solution. Additionally, I ordered takeout on a previous occasion, and I noticed that the complimentary soup and salad that normally come with every entrée were not included with takeout orders (just something to keep in mind).

The fried oysters were also a great size and came with two dipping sauces, which was a nice touch. The maze ramen was a big portion and even my toddler enjoyed it. The standout for me was the tempura ice cream--perfectly crisp with a thin, light shell. Service: Our server was friendly, efficient, and very accommodating. However, the host experience was frustrating. The Yelp waitlist wasn't working on a busy Friday night, which seemed to cause some disorganization. We were quoted a 25-minute wait for a party of three, but ended up waiting 45 minutes. During that time, multiple parties of three who arrived after us were seated first. When I checked in at 35 minutes, I was told we were "next," but that didn't seem to reflect what was happening. At 45 minutes, after checking again and explaining how long we'd been waiting, we were seated immediately. It was confusing and especially difficult with a hungry toddler. Parking: Parking can be tricky. The restaurant is located under an apartment complex with limited guest spots on the first floor of the garage. If it's full, you'll have to exit and find street parking (which is minimal) or park across Dublin Blvd and walk. Overall: This was close to a perfect experience. The food and server were great, but the disorganized wait and host interaction took away from it. Hopefully they improve their system for busy nights, especially if the Yelp waitlist goes down again.

Our party of six were seated in a spacious booth towards the middle of the restaurant and were warmly greeted by our server. The restaurant had good vibes! After the birthday girlie opened a few presents, one of the managers came to our table to ask if we wanted some group photos b/c she noticed we were celebrating! She was soooo sweet, observant, and attentive! c: After looking at the extensive menu, I knew I wanted to try some of their sushi rolls so I shared a few with a friend. We ordered the Caterpillar Roll, Klondike Express, and the Chili Spider Salmon Roll. These are my ratings / thoughts on our order: - Caterpillar Roll (4/5): This roll is under Amakara's Common Rolls. Filled with unagi, cucumber, avocado and glazed with teriyaki sauce, this roll is a classic and was delicious! The avocado was creamy, the teriyaki was sweet/ umami, and the unagi was delicate and tender. I also appreciate that the pieces were perfectly bite- sized. I'm glad I tried this roll but would prefer to try a new one next time. -Klondike Express Roll (5/5): This roll was tasty and oh so colorful! Rolled with cucumber, crispy, tempura shrimp, fresh crab, and avocado w/ scallop mayo, this roll was an explosion of flavors. I love that it was garnished with bits of crunchy tempura and 3 flavors of tobiko for texture. The tobiko really added "wow factor" to the roll and each color had a subtle citrus flavor! My friend and I were trying to decipher the 3 flavors of tobiko and concluded yellow = lemon, green = lime, and orange = orange. This roll was fun and would definitely order again! -Chili Spider Salmon Roll (5/5): The Chili Spider was BEAUTIFUL and hands down my favorite roll of the night!! This roll is under Amakara's Spicy Rolls and was interestingly topped with vibrant tomatoes, thinly sliced onion, and tender salmon. Filled with avocado and tempura soft-shell crab and drizzled with chili oil and ponzu, this roll was uniquely fresh and delicious! I've never had onions and tomatoes on a roll but it worked and I would definitely come back and have again! I had a great time here with friends and really enjoyed the food! I will definitely come back to try some unique and flavorful dishes!

My order was packed and ready to go without much of a wait, which was nice. It didn't take long, so it's very helpful for people on a time crunch. I got the 3 item bento box with katsu chicken, California roll, and sashimi. It also came with miso soup, salad, and rice. I got it to go, so I was happy the soup was included because I notice some restaurants don't always include soup on togo orders. The katsu chicken was light and seasoned nicely, and the katsu sauce tasted a little different than normal, so maybe it's freshly made. I wasn't a fan of the California roll only because I am not a fan of the whole roll chunks of imitation crab meat but it wasn't a full deal breaker. The sashimi tasted fresh with a nice, soft, buttery texture. I still think about their sashimi at times, it's up there with some of the best pieces of fish I've eaten.

My son's wife had a sashimi donburi with fresh fish and my son went with a three item bento beef teriyaki, mixed tempura and three piece nigiri. I came in around 6pm and when I walked in there was 1 other table there and not busy. I would say it's a small spot that seats less than 50 people but it was nice and clean. The salmon being seared gives it extra sweetness and the siracha mayo actually had a nice kick it to it and wasn't just sweet. The fried shallots on top added nice texture being crunchy with extra flavor. This was my favorite roll. Rosewood Roll - 8/10. You can taste that the fish is fresh. If you like salmon and tuna I would get this roll. What I liked about it as well was the spicy crab on top which carried a small amount of spice but adds to the flavor. Moriwase - 9/10. It comes with 6 nigiri and a hand roll. Again the fish is fresh and has good flavor. The portion was normal, definitely not small. The nigiri comes with a brush of soy sauce so no need to dip, but feel free to. I just wish it had some more wasabi cause I didn't taste any. It came with a spicy tuna hand roll which I liked a lot because it had a good kick. Service was great even though I was the only one in there after the table before me left but the lady was very nice and attentive. She even offered some home made dessert that was packaged in a cute box after having some small convo. I talked to the sushi chef and he's been making sushi for over 15 years and I could tell that he puts some passion in his craft. He told me everyone says the fish is fresh but he really tries to make the flavor known which I think he executed well. They also get their fish flown/delivered on Tuesdays/Thursday. If you're in the area I would recommend trying this spot. It's definitely a safe option and I'll be coming back to try the other items.
