Now matter how busy this team is, or what type of day they are having, I never get shut down for my medically specific food substitutions. The staff is friendly, the music is great and the best part is my No-Rice sushi rolls are always tasty and very well put together. Thank you so much for always being able to make our visits memorable and delicious.

My local gem in my village community the ambiance is casual and clean no frills but great for a group celebration. The service is wonderful it's like you are family when you walk in and are seated We choose the hibachi this time around and enjoyed every minute of it, the chef was entertaining and generous with the portions. We ordered the filet mignon & lobster combo & the lobster & shrimp combo with a side of egg fried rice, mix tempura & fried oysters all cooked to perfection and delicious., topped it off with the house Cabernet & plum wine. Can't wait to try again.

    12 pc sashimi combo

Came here on a Thursday night, party of 2, kind of unintentionally (we were trying to get sushi and went to two other Sushi places in Dublin but everything was randomly closed for 4th of July week). My order: 12 pc sashimi combo ($26 ish) with a salmon handroll ($7 ish). I had been to a similarly named establishment in SLO that I think had the same menu before so I was like, okay maybe this will be good? This place is randomly also tapenyaki. Pros: - pretty huge chunks of sashimi in the sashimi combo, and they give you a good variety of 4-5 different kinds of fish (I got 4 pc salmon, and then 2 pieces each of 4 other different kinds of fish, which I didn't mind because I do like salmon alot). Tasted fresh, was pretty good. - The hot tea was pretty tasty - Reasonably priced - there was a $31 deal where you get an 8 pc nigiri set AND it comes with a roll of choice from a selection of maybe 8 different rolls - that seemed like such a steal that I wish I was hungrier so I could order it haha - lots of available parking in the nearby area - it kind of almost looks like a residential area but there are spaces if you keep driving around the restaurant - I'm grateful it was open on a holiday week lol - they gave us free edamame at the beginning and free ice cream at the end of the meal - Very enthusiastic waitress singing the birthday song for guests and they turn off the lights and sing with a tambourine lol - Really pretty plating and presentation Cons: - the deal I mentioned above sounds great - but what was interesting was that the special menu also had an 8 pc omakase nigiri set for the same price? I tried asking the waitress if it's different but they couldn't answer partly due to a language barrier (which isn't her fault, but I thought that kind of pricing was interesting). - The service was really really slow (we sat down around 7:25 but didn't get our food until around 8:05pm) - I don't want to blame the wait staff because they were all running around and trying their best - it felt like there just weren't enough people working. When I walked in there was nobody at the host booth area, and it took a long time to get menus, tea, water, etc. - the restaurant has an interesting layout with walls where it can make it hard to flag down a server to help you TLDR: solid fish, I wouldn't mind coming back because it seems like a well-loved local place, but the service was so slow the day we went, I sincerely hope that was just an off day.

    Birthday dessert

Our first time here and it was a belated birthday celebration for a group of 8. This restaurant is located in a shopping strip mall and the entrance isn't apparent. We parked in front of the restaurant but had to go around to the back to get into the restaurant. We sat in a nice comfortable spot as our 2 year grandson can be restless and he was enchanted with the ducks hung up on the wall. He loves animals so the ducks kept him somewhat entertained. Everyone ordered their own dish but we had tempura appetizer to start. I ordered the 3 item dinner combo with salmon teriyaki, shortribs and beef teriyaki and the portions were generous and tasty. We were celebrating a belated birthday for my daughter and I and the server brought out an ice cream dessert with a candle for us to share. It was a nice touch to celebrate with the fam bam!

    Baked Green Mussels
    Aletta A.

Tried this place via Door Dash delivery. I think if I give them a try again, I'll order sushi, because the baked items I ordered were not it. The baked green mussels were not creamy at all. It's like there was just melted cheese on them. This did not satisfy my craving. I also ordered the dynamite thinking it would resemble a sushi bake. This was also lacking the slight creaminess it was supposed to have, because I think it was over baked.

    84. Any 3 Different Items Dinner Combination Combination - pick a roll + 7 piece nigiri
    Veerawan T.

I've only been here for hot foods and sushi because it's so close to my house. But it's amazing! All of the sushi rolls that I've tried so far are unique, fresh, and good size. I'd recommend asking for spicy Mayo and eel sauce to dip along with it. Definitely their price is affordable and this seems like a family business which makes me want to support this place even more. We also ordered the dinner combo (3) where you can choose any 3 items from their menu of the dinner. We got the Katsu, beef teriyaki, and ribs. - always served with salad and miso soup as well. Katsu were crispy (okay amount of chicken, more breading but so delicious) ribs were great (hint of sweetness!) beef was cooked well (eel sauce is lil sweet) but overall try it out! There was another combo where you choose one sushi and it comes with 7 pieces of nigiri (perfect for 2 ppl) but it was yummy. :) Service is great, you're always greeted and sat with a bowl of edamame. The place itself is big, it's split between tables and sections for teppanyaki.

Sake and my lightsaber chop sticks!

If you are a fan of unique rolls of high quality and taste, this is a great find if you have not been here before. Recommendations on rolls would be the Hot Night, Happy Bunny, and the Crazy Girl. Staff is beyond friendly and remember their return customers. Don't forget to have sake! They have a diverse selection of great cold sake. Also give the Heart Attack appetizer a try, its beyond good.

The yummy roll we all shared.
    Denise R.

This was our 1st time dining and the service was friendly and quick although they were short-staffed. They have a nice selection of sake and beer and we ordered both and Shirley Temples for the kids. The selection of sushi was a nice surprise since we were there only for the cooking table. My son ordered a long roll and it was so fresh and enough for all five of us. The chef was fun and cooked our entrées beautifully while entertaining us. We also ordered the Tempura as an appetizer and it did not disappoint..however it came out as our dinner was ready so that's why only 4 stars. We look forward to going back.

It used to be you can only join where you come near the restaurant. It must be only for busy days like Mother's Day? There was a sheet offering specials for Mother's Day, cocktails, mocktails, a kurobuta pork belly and 2 desserts. We ordered our usual fare. Great service by Ariel, she handled everything as a pro, even with the crazy business. Food came out with no delay. The only change that we noticed id the teriyaki beef. The rib eye was usually so tender and juicy, everybody that we invited here were amazed how tender and great they were. Yes, we came here quite often, and brought every and all out of town guests here. But today they were tough, on the dry side, even though cooked Rare and MediumRare. All 3 steaks. So disappointed. We finished with the Biscoff cookie sundae, which they had for Valentine, a tempura fried ice cream dessert with crumbles of Biscoff cookies and caramel drizzles. So good. The room was busy with laughter and guests enjoying the food and company on this holiday.

The fried oysters were also a great size and came with two dipping sauces, which was a nice touch. The maze ramen was a big portion and even my toddler enjoyed it. The standout for me was the tempura ice cream--perfectly crisp with a thin, light shell. Service: Our server was friendly, efficient, and very accommodating. However, the host experience was frustrating. The Yelp waitlist wasn't working on a busy Friday night, which seemed to cause some disorganization. We were quoted a 25-minute wait for a party of three, but ended up waiting 45 minutes. During that time, multiple parties of three who arrived after us were seated first. When I checked in at 35 minutes, I was told we were "next," but that didn't seem to reflect what was happening. At 45 minutes, after checking again and explaining how long we'd been waiting, we were seated immediately. It was confusing and especially difficult with a hungry toddler. Parking: Parking can be tricky. The restaurant is located under an apartment complex with limited guest spots on the first floor of the garage. If it's full, you'll have to exit and find street parking (which is minimal) or park across Dublin Blvd and walk. Overall: This was close to a perfect experience. The food and server were great, but the disorganized wait and host interaction took away from it. Hopefully they improve their system for busy nights, especially if the Yelp waitlist goes down again.

Shinkai does-- automatic plus for me. I ordered the Sushi Crafter Box and salivated as it being walked over to my table. It looked so satisfying that I didn't even want to dig in. But of course I had to. It was incredible! I normally don't love fatty tuna because the texture can be inconsistent and veiny but it was soft and not veiny at all! My fiance ordered 2 rolls, and a sashimi appetizer and loved it all. We were able to share everything we ordered and both left very satisfied. The service was fantastic, waters being refilled without having to ask and the restaurant was clean. It is a bit small unfortunately but that's just to say, expect wait times!

Flavors and seasoning all balanced well, they put shiso leaf bits in between under the typically gamier fish and rice. Savory roe bits dot the top of some of the stronger tasting fishes. And 8pc were only $40. Salmon rolls (salmon salmon) and (orange ocean) were both good. Nice citrus hit in orange ocean but doesn't overpower - salmon salmon roll had good crisp and umami from the fried skin. The sashimi platter was solid - nothing that blew my mind but it was pretty good quality fish, only minor complaint was it was cut into oddly shaped chunks and not consistent in texture between each bite Also they gave a LOT of plum wine, not skimpy at all!

My order was packed and ready to go without much of a wait, which was nice. It didn't take long, so it's very helpful for people on a time crunch. I got the 3 item bento box with katsu chicken, California roll, and sashimi. It also came with miso soup, salad, and rice. I got it to go, so I was happy the soup was included because I notice some restaurants don't always include soup on togo orders. The katsu chicken was light and seasoned nicely, and the katsu sauce tasted a little different than normal, so maybe it's freshly made. I wasn't a fan of the California roll only because I am not a fan of the whole roll chunks of imitation crab meat but it wasn't a full deal breaker. The sashimi tasted fresh with a nice, soft, buttery texture. I still think about their sashimi at times, it's up there with some of the best pieces of fish I've eaten.

I came in around 6pm and when I walked in there was 1 other table there and not busy. I would say it's a small spot that seats less than 50 people but it was nice and clean. The salmon being seared gives it extra sweetness and the siracha mayo actually had a nice kick it to it and wasn't just sweet. The fried shallots on top added nice texture being crunchy with extra flavor. This was my favorite roll. Rosewood Roll - 8/10. You can taste that the fish is fresh. If you like salmon and tuna I would get this roll. What I liked about it as well was the spicy crab on top which carried a small amount of spice but adds to the flavor. Moriwase - 9/10. It comes with 6 nigiri and a hand roll. Again the fish is fresh and has good flavor. The portion was normal, definitely not small. The nigiri comes with a brush of soy sauce so no need to dip, but feel free to. I just wish it had some more wasabi cause I didn't taste any. It came with a spicy tuna hand roll which I liked a lot because it had a good kick. Service was great even though I was the only one in there after the table before me left but the lady was very nice and attentive. She even offered some home made dessert that was packaged in a cute box after having some small convo. I talked to the sushi chef and he's been making sushi for over 15 years and I could tell that he puts some passion in his craft. He told me everyone says the fish is fresh but he really tries to make the flavor known which I think he executed well. They also get their fish flown/delivered on Tuesdays/Thursday. The best dish by far was the futo-maki roll. Really good flavor for a vegetarian roll. The 'fresh crab' in the other roll we ordered was not good. Rice being IMO the most important element in sushi was executed well, but my chirashi had all the fish served fridge cold and with pretty rough, haphazard cuts. For the overall price of the experience, it just doesn't seem worth it.
