Looking for our next go-to Japanese restaurant and we landed here. This is in a nice little plaza with plenty of parking. There was also plenty of tables inside. The decor was nice and fun. We were seated and served immediately and our food came shortly after. Also, it was a weekday night so it wasn't too busy. We got some hand rolls and bentos so we can try a lot of items. I also got this pretty purple lemonade which I am guessing has blue pea flower tea in it to make the color vibrant purple. The handrolls were okay. I wasn't expecting the tuna to be cooked on the outside was hoping for a nice raw piece. The salmon handroll was better. Our bento was good, nice portion of things and I did enjoy everything in the bento. For someone who is entirely too spoiled with Japanese food, unfortunately this place did not hit the marks for me. But, it is a good option in this area with little Japanese food options. Prices were as expected. Staff was very welcoming and kind.

I think we came on an off day - there was no sushi available, so maybe the sushi chef called in sick? There was only one guy working who apparently was the host, waiter, server, bus person, and handled any to-go orders. There seemed to be one cook in the kitchen. We decided to give the other menu items a try since we were already there and we were encouraged by the great reviews. Alas, their udon, tempura, and salmon teriyaki were just average, and the chicken katsu was dry and bland, and we did not care for their katsu sauce. I could have sworn the katsu on the bottom was tonkatsu, which I did not order, but regardless, it doesn't say much for the food if you can't tell if it's dry chicken or pork! If I'm ever back in this area, I would try the ramen and sushi, which seem to have garnered much more favorable reviews.

I've been here like 6 or 7 times and usually had the Spicy Miso or Shoryu Ramen, and they're always fantastic but THE COCONUT CURRY RAMEN omg. 10/10 I literally texted two of my friends to tell them how good this ramen was. The broth is a complex of complimentary flavor profiles, the noodles are perfectly cooked, all of the ingredients mesh well. Definitely getting this from now on. Also, I've had their chicken gyoza and salmon sashimi in past visits and they were VERY good.

The staff is super nice and the food is good! The decorations were super cute. The presentations and the flowers on the food were so pretty that my mom wanted to bring it home with us. The food is definitely pricey for what it is, but overall fun

Not too hungry. Just wanted a good snack before a long road trip. :) Very nice service. Place was clean. I like that your clothes don't smell like food when you leave. Crispy Salmon Skin appetizer - if you love crispy skin, order this!! So good. Nice crunch. Not fishy. Love the seasoning on it, and don't forget to squeeze the lemon on top. Delicious with a side of rice. Ton Katsu appetizer - Good flavor. Great crunch. Not greasy. Perfect! House Green Salad - nice healthy side dish to have with my mostly crunchy meal.

Sooooo goood!! We moved near by and wanted to try something new and this is 100% going to be our go to Japanese spot. We got the kiseki roll-YUM- California and dragon roll. We also got gyoza and karagge chicken. Everything was fantastic and we will be back soon!

The electricity went out before we came to dine here, and we were very appreciative of the owner who accommodated us and decided to keep the kitchen open, and we are able to eat their sushi and their premade food. The owner and his head server who I assume is his wife is very kind Dragon roll $18, is one of the top rolls. 7/5 Caterpillar $18 also good 5/5, and the Bengal 5/5 thank you did not disappoint. Their plating is beautiful. They brought a lush salad, overflowing, and a beautiful wooden bowl for curry with rice (an affordable $10) Really nice owner and server, great service and accommodation. So grateful for their hospitality and flexibility, beautiful and well made food.

Had a nice lunch on the way to San Jose! First time here and service was a bit slow. Everything we ordered was delicious and flavorful. The restaurant was decorated beautifully during the Christmas holiday. Can't wait to go back and try other dishes.

Miracle. That's what Kiseki means (I asked the staff). I thought it was so beautiful and worth sharing up front in this review. + Family friendly + Beautiful indoor decor + Attentive, friendly and quick service + Still daydreaming about their ramen! + Kids loved their kids menu ramen. It was simple (just noodles and soup but you can add veggies and meat for for $) but portion was huge. + Variety of sushi options. Ask your server their favorite if you're having trouble choosing. + High quality ingredients you can actually taste. Very important for sushi! + Beautiful, creative dinner finale. It was simply orange slices peeled in a fancy way but it was a surprise touch at the end of our meal. + Green tea mochi *chefs kiss + Plenty of parking

Went here last Saturday for dinner and got the Spicy Miso Ramen with a soft boiled egg. The server was great and food came out decently fast. The restaurant seemed to be lively, but the restaurant wasn't packed. It tasted very rich and tasty and I like the chashu a lot as well. The broth was rich and tasty as well. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I think next time I'll try the Chicken Karage Coconut Curry Ramen.

Just wanted to add some pictures of our recent dinner! The Terriyaki dinner plate is a good portion! You can upgrade with fried rice which is so tasty! Comes with Miso soup as well. When ordering the Sushi, don't forget to ask for the fresh wassabi! It's the best! They have updated their menue with lots of bento options as well!

This is such a good ramen spot!!! This time I got the Coconut Curry ramen (chicken karaage) and okonomiyaki as an appetizer. Both were really good!!! The coconut curry ramen feels really unique and it tastes great. And the okonomiyaki was also really good, the variety of flavors and textures made for an enjoyable experience. The service and atmosphere are also great. Staff is friendly and attentive. Will definitely go to Kiseki again!

Had a quick lunch here at Kiseki one weekday afternoon. Just a quick in and out: I had their Potato Croquet and Mayu Ramen. Food came fairly quickly with the croquet coming in first. It was pleasantly delicious, with a nice crunchy outside and soft creamy potato inside. Served with a salad, it was a good appetizer for the ramen. The Mayu Ramen though, was just alright. Chasiu pork was good the the broth could use a little more spruce. Not much of the garlic flavor and needed some egg which my ramen did not have.

Not worth five dollars extremely small piece

So slow, in fact, I was ready to leave. I ended up staying because their croquettes ended up being delicious. Super crunchy on the outside and very soft on the inside. I was in heaven and ate them all. After I finished my croquettes, I waited for my ramen. Took about 40 minutes for it to come out. By the time it came out, I was underwhelmed by the presentation. A lot of ramen places take pride in presentation but Fujiwara called it a day and sent it out. I was skeptical until I took my first bite. I was pleasantly surprised. It was very good and not heavily seasoned with salt. I enjoyed it. Will definitely come back.

Severe Food Poisoning -- And a Complete Lack of Compassion From the Owner…read more On Friday, July 31st, we ordered three sushi rolls and a bento box from Roppongi Sushi for pickup. My husband waited almost 40 minutes longer than expected for the food. We have eaten here several times before and liked it. I ate significantly more of the sushi than he did. The next morning, I felt absolutely terrible. After about 12 hours, I became violently sick and threw up all of the sushi. I couldn't believe that after all that time, it was still coming back up. I have never been that sick. I was extremely weak and lethargic, could barely eat for days, and it took several days to feel normal again. I'm a breastfeeding mom to a 5-month-old and also have a 20-month-old, so being that sick was especially difficult. I nearly lost my milk supply because I could barely eat or drink, and I was so exhausted that I could barely help with my children. I called the restaurant Saturday afternoon to let the manager know what happened. Instead of asking if I was okay or expressing any concern, her first response was, "What roll did you eat?" When I told her which one I suspected, she said, "A lot of people ordered that," and offered to refund one roll. I explained how seriously sick I had been and how difficult it was to care for my children while feeling that way. I even asked her if she was a mother and how she would feel in my situation. Her response was, "Enough -- just stop already!" followed by "We work so hard." I understand restaurants work hard, I worked in restaurants for 10 years myself! but customers deserve compassion when they report becoming violently ill after eating their food. I wasn't looking for an argument--a little compassion would have gone a long way. She eventually refunded almost the entire order, but only after a very dismissive interaction. I would not have written this review if the owner had shown even a little compassion. She never followed up with me to see if I was ok. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will NEVER be returning to Roppongi Sushi, and it will probably be a very long time before I feel comfortable eating sushi again.

Great joint for when you have a ramen craving and are in the area!…read more After a day shopping at the Stoneridge Mall and Livermore Outlets with my Mom, I had a hankering for a good hot meal and bowl of ramen. This location is down the street in Dublin and we were about an hour out from close. It was a slow weekday and they were able to serve us quick and easy! A $15 bowl of ramen, with great portion and great flavor (compared to other bigger cities who overcharge and give significantly less)? How can I not be happy? Albeit I am a vegetarian and I got the veggie ramen with tofu, mushrooms, corn, bean sprouts and a boiled egg on the side. I also opted for the creamy version of their veggie broth and loved it. Ramen noodles were great and cooked well too. I feel like I can go to ramen spots who disappoint me easily when it ventures too far out of the norm, and this was an easy meal that was quick, reliable, and hit the spot. I haven't tried their other options though I do know they offer other Hawaiian bbq staples (I saw a number of people ordering those to-go). Not sure how those are... but I'm happy to report their ramen does the job. Happy gals!
