Veggie tempura
Bob K.

3.5 stars, rounding up. Our first time here, and while we don't often go to Springtown, Kiseki is a nice draw. The Wife wanted her usual for Mother's Day dinner, but has been disappointed lately by Roppongi's tempura veggies. Kiseki's offering was well cooked, and a bigger portion to boot. The miso soup tasted like every place else, but the salad dressing was too vinegary for her to finish. The sushi prices were fairly high, so I just got one roll, the Vasco. Lovely presentation, and enough food for me (along with finishing The Wife's soup and salad). Service was fine, but I'm glad we got there early, as things picked up and got slower later. The space is quite simple, nothing fancy, but clean, and they have table service. Again, pricier than I would have liked, somif Roppongi can fix their issue, we'd prefer to go there, especially during happy hour.

I think we came on an off day - there was no sushi available, so maybe the sushi chef called in sick? There was only one guy working who apparently was the host, waiter, server, bus person, and handled any to-go orders. There seemed to be one cook in the kitchen. We decided to give the other menu items a try since we were already there and we were encouraged by the great reviews. Alas, their udon, tempura, and salmon teriyaki were just average, and the chicken katsu was dry and bland, and we did not care for their katsu sauce. I could have sworn the katsu on the bottom was tonkatsu, which I did not order, but regardless, it doesn't say much for the food if you can't tell if it's dry chicken or pork! If I'm ever back in this area, I would try the ramen and sushi, which seem to have garnered much more favorable reviews.

The staff is super nice and the food is good! The decorations were super cute. The presentations and the flowers on the food were so pretty that my mom wanted to bring it home with us. The food is definitely pricey for what it is, but overall fun

Sooooo goood!! We moved near by and wanted to try something new and this is 100% going to be our go to Japanese spot. We got the kiseki roll-YUM- California and dragon roll. We also got gyoza and karagge chicken. Everything was fantastic and we will be back soon!

Not too hungry. Just wanted a good snack before a long road trip. :) Very nice service. Place was clean. I like that your clothes don't smell like food when you leave. Crispy Salmon Skin appetizer - if you love crispy skin, order this!! So good. Nice crunch. Not fishy. Love the seasoning on it, and don't forget to squeeze the lemon on top. Delicious with a side of rice. Ton Katsu appetizer - Good flavor. Great crunch. Not greasy. Perfect! House Green Salad - nice healthy side dish to have with my mostly crunchy meal.

The electricity went out before we came to dine here, and we were very appreciative of the owner who accommodated us and decided to keep the kitchen open, and we are able to eat their sushi and their premade food. The owner and his head server who I assume is his wife is very kind Dragon roll $18, is one of the top rolls. 7/5 Caterpillar $18 also good 5/5, and the Bengal 5/5 thank you did not disappoint. Their plating is beautiful. They brought a lush salad, overflowing, and a beautiful wooden bowl for curry with rice (an affordable $10) Really nice owner and server, great service and accommodation. So grateful for their hospitality and flexibility, beautiful and well made food.

Had a nice lunch on the way to San Jose! First time here and service was a bit slow. Everything we ordered was delicious and flavorful. The restaurant was decorated beautifully during the Christmas holiday. Can't wait to go back and try other dishes.

Just wanted to add some pictures of our recent dinner! The Terriyaki dinner plate is a good portion! You can upgrade with fried rice which is so tasty! Comes with Miso soup as well. When ordering the Sushi, don't forget to ask for the fresh wassabi! It's the best! They have updated their menue with lots of bento options as well!

Miracle. That's what Kiseki means (I asked the staff). I thought it was so beautiful and worth sharing up front in this review. + Family friendly + Beautiful indoor decor + Attentive, friendly and quick service + Still daydreaming about their ramen! + Kids loved their kids menu ramen. It was simple (just noodles and soup but you can add veggies and meat for for $) but portion was huge. + Variety of sushi options. Ask your server their favorite if you're having trouble choosing. + High quality ingredients you can actually taste. Very important for sushi! + Beautiful, creative dinner finale. It was simply orange slices peeled in a fancy way but it was a surprise touch at the end of our meal. + Green tea mochi *chefs kiss + Plenty of parking

Went here last Saturday for dinner and got the Spicy Miso Ramen with a soft boiled egg. The server was great and food came out decently fast. The restaurant seemed to be lively, but the restaurant wasn't packed. It tasted very rich and tasty and I like the chashu a lot as well. The broth was rich and tasty as well. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I think next time I'll try the Chicken Karage Coconut Curry Ramen.

This is such a good ramen spot!!! This time I got the Coconut Curry ramen (chicken karaage) and okonomiyaki as an appetizer. Both were really good!!! The coconut curry ramen feels really unique and it tastes great. And the okonomiyaki was also really good, the variety of flavors and textures made for an enjoyable experience. The service and atmosphere are also great. Staff is friendly and attentive. Will definitely go to Kiseki again!

Not worth five dollars extremely small piece

Today when I order two bowls of chicken katsu the portions were spot on, but I'm very disappointed at the cheesecake for five dollars. I've had the cheesecake while dining inside and the portion was pretty good but the to go was extremely small. I will never order the cheesecake here ever again. Safeway has the proper slice for a dollar more and it's much bigger. But the restaurant overall is still a five star because their food is amazing.

Had a quick lunch here at Kiseki one weekday afternoon. Just a quick in and out: I had their Potato Croquet and Mayu Ramen. Food came fairly quickly with the croquet coming in first. It was pleasantly delicious, with a nice crunchy outside and soft creamy potato inside. Served with a salad, it was a good appetizer for the ramen. The Mayu Ramen though, was just alright. Chasiu pork was good the the broth could use a little more spruce. Not much of the garlic flavor and needed some egg which my ramen did not have.

Tempura is always a favorite here. Regular Nikutama Udon bowl with an egg is still affordable and fulfilling. This time, it felt like my regular bowl size had shrunk a bit, but the portions are still very slurpy good. Mushroom tempura and shrimp tempura plus the potato croquette is still legit and delicious. I have no complaints each time we stop by for a quick meal fix. Aisles are clean and organized. It's just not as crowded as it used to be anymore. The menu selections are surviving during high inflation times, especially for regular bowls under $15. I call it decent and affordable udon here. Adding another $1.50-$2.25 for each tempura item isn't too bad either. Very good. I'm still liking it here. Feels great inside and you can still sit comfortably outside. Worth it.

The internet was down so it was cash only - which was fine, inconvenient, but not their fault. We ordered with the hostess because their QR code menu wasn't working, probably due to the internet being out. Also fine. We ordered two plates of spicy bulgogi, one order of chicken, and three bowls of rice. The rice was dry, but that's fine because that's not why you go to kbbq. The portions were small, which should have been fine because it's all you can eat. However, we could not get any more service. The manager had taken over taking orders, and we watched her walk past our table multiple times. We watched her service other tables and not hear us try to get her attention. We got the attention of the hostess (with the help of the table next to us, who was also struggling to get any attention) who then said the manager would be right over to us. We never spoke to a manager. We decided to ask for the check instead. I had to step out because my baby was becoming a handful. My husband asked for the check, expressing that paying the full charge for the lack of service or food we received felt disrespectful, and was told the manager could help us. The manager never spoke to him, despite him waiting after the hostess told him again that she would. The only person in our group of three who left satisfied at all had already ate a lunch somewhere else before. My husband and I left hungry and disappointed. Two stars because the hostess was friendly. We will not be back.
