The ambiance is crazy!! Its in front of a beautiful atrium with birds flying around. The workers were so kind and I even got an extra madeline for being the first customer of the day :) I got a hot spanish latte with oat milk (no extra charge) and brown butter and yuzu glaze madelines. The yuzu glaze was my favorite!! They play really nice and fun music to start the day! Plenty of parking outside. read more

This is a hidden gem situated in an office building. There is minimal signage directing passerbys to step inside the building. But once inside, you are transported into what appears to be outside space with lush greenery and a fountain in the middle of the atrium. The atrium is actually open to the outside with open skylights at the top of this multi story building. We even saw and heard birds inside thr atrium. The cafe is conveniently located on the first floor with a number of patio dining sets for diners. The menu is simple with your typical pastries, breakfast sandwiches and lunch specialty sandwiches. None of the lunch sandwiches come toasted or heated, which is left to be desired. Bread options are sourdough or baguette. I am usually not a fan of sourdough but this was particularly good as it had a very soft center, crisped edges and appeared to be wheat (not white). Prices are on the high end where a typical sandwich alone averages $17. There are definitely better sandwich options elsewhere. The one redeeming feature of this cafe is the unique ambience of the atrium. read more

Stroll Cafe & Bakery is located in a calm, quiet space inside the 5776 office building. When you enter, there's an atrium with plenty of seating and lots of greenery. It's a nice place if you want a low-noise spot to relax or get some work done. I ordered the iced Dubai chocolate latte, which had pistachio cream spread along the side of the cup and chocolate drizzle at the bottom. It had a strong coffee flavor and wasn't as sweet as expected. I also tried the almond and chocolate croissants, which were buttery and had a generous filling, but the texture was a bit more bready than flaky, possibly because they were discounted and not completely fresh that day. I'd like to come back to try their sourdough since I've heard good things about it. The limited weekday hours make it a bit harder to visit, but it sounds like they're planning to expand, which is exciting. It's a decent spot if you're looking for a quieter cafe, just not my favorite for pastries. read more

Hidden gem alert Tucked inside a business building across the mall, this coffee spot totally surprised me in the best way. As soon as you walk in, you're instantly amazed--beautiful indoor trees, glass ceilings, and such an airy, peaceful vibe. It doesn't even feel like you're in a typical office building. They offer fresh baked pastries, a solid coffee selection, and a full menu with breakfast and lunch options. I ordered the Dubai chocolate latte, an almond croissant, and a ham and egg sandwich. The sandwich threw me off a bit with the boiled egg (not what I expected). The drink was alright, and the almond croissant didn't have that super flaky texture I've had from other cafes. The owner is incredibly friendly, and you can really tell she puts so much love and care into both the food and the shop--it shows in every detail. This beautiful cafe is located in one of the most beautiful office spaces. I felt like I was in the jungle. And it was the perfect temperature that day, so I definitely dined outside. But note, they do have some bar stools inside if you opt to dine in. I found this gem on TikTok because it was going viral. I ordered the Spanish latte, which was fine. But the star of the show was the tuna sandwich on a baggette. Seriously the best tuna I've ever had. They make their own bread so it was extremely fresh. A literal hidden gem! My friend sent me an IG video featuring The Stroll's pastries, and I've been wanting to go since. Regrettably I didn't order a pastry this time as I went during lunch, but I will absolutely be back for breakfast to try one! I love unsuspecting locations. They're in an office building across from Stoneridge Mall, and you have to walk through a forest courtyard (?!?!?) to reach their entrance. Where am I LOL. Lucky employees who have this right downstairs! I assume the building is closed on the weekends since the cafe is only open M-F. If I had known breakfast was offered all day until sold out, I would've ordered an avocado & egg ($8.50) on a croissant (extra $1). Alas, I still panic at the register. Roast Beef Avocado ($16): Option for house-baked sliced country sourdough or baguette! This was so darn good and turned out to be exactly what I was craving. It can get messy, but it was worth it! I think the bread made it even better than any typical roast beef sandwich you can make at home. Spanish latte ($6): Double shot of espresso with condensed milk! I liked it and would get again cold. I'm curious about their Sunrise Espresso ($6.50) which is a double shot with orange juice over ice. I believe they offer pre-orders via email and text so you don't have to wait if you're in a rush! I hope more people find them on Yelp or IG since they technically don't have a super visible public storefront. read more

Tried this place a couple weeks back because there cafes went viral on social media! The ambiance was very unique. Views inside is quite peaceful and calm. The service was really nice. The barista recommend me good drinks and food when I went. I ordered a coffee, matcha, and a sandwich. The coffee was good, good flavor, matcha was just alright probably will not order it again. Went here on a Friday morning, it's not too busy during the time and I got my items pretty quickly. Before I talk about what I had, let me tell you about the ambience. You walk in and see all the greenery inside of a building!! It's very gorgeous. Theres a small fountain so your white noise is light talking and water splashing. Sandwiches: My friend and I got two different sandwiches, both on the baguette. We got the tuna sandwich and the prosciutto mozzarella sandwich. With tax, each comes out to be around $19. The bread is soft inside and has that crispy outside layer that you want when you bite into a sandwich. We both liked the tuna sandwich more. The prosciutto mozzarella sandwich wasn't bad, but maybe I just don't favor the taste of that type of sandwich. The alfalfa sprouts definitely were stronger than the rest of the ingredients in it, so I took some out. Tuna had a stronger taste than the prosciutto, so the alfalfa sprouts weren't as strong. Ingredients were very fresh! Drinks: Spanish latte and Honey matcha. Nothing special, I probably wouldn't come here for the drinks. Overall, I'd go here for the ambience and sandwiches. Really cute small business cafe. It's located in this business center that has all of these trees that almost transports you somewhere else. It's easy to miss if you are driving by so don't worry when you pull up in front of a boring looking building lol. The 2 people working were really friendly and service was fast. This place was pretty disappointing. We came here from a google search. It is confusing because it's in a professional building, however, once you get in the courtyard it has a nice ambiance. You can sit in the atrium and enjoy the sound of the fountain. The place itself is underwhelming. The coffee is just ok. They only have regular milk and oat milk options. The breakfast is boring and bland. The overnight oats cup was not good at all. The service was twilighty and awkward. To spend almost $50 to throw most of it away did not leave me feeling great about it. My advice: get your coffee somewhere else, bring a snack from home, and sit out in the atrium and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Good luck! read more

Thankfully for a viral post on Instagram I was lucky enough to discover this gem hidden in Pleasanton that is truly a special and dare I say magical experience! There really is a real life atrium inside this office building and this cafe is smack dab right in the middle complete with a beautiful fountain, amazing customer service and delicious food and drinks. I ordered the rocky road cookie and the sweetest barista warmed it up for me and I've been dreaming about going back and getting another one ever since. I had a delicious coffee and even met the owner who offered to make me more cookies! I have visited the Stroll twice. The first time there was a small line out the door and when I got to the front they were out of almost everything. So I didn't get anything. The second time no line and I got a chocolate croissant, english muffins and glazed madeleines. Chocolate croissant was OK but lacked the crunch of the best croissants. 3 stars. It's hard to find bakery-made english muffins so they get at least a star for just trying. Good sourdough flavor but not the softer style I happen to prefer. 4 stars. The madeleines were great - highly recommend. 5 stars. The Stroll is located of the atrium of an office building and the atrium is very nice with a water feature, lots of plants and plenty of seating. Relaxing place out of the usual sun in Pleasanton. Service the first time was harried but very good the second time(the baker recommended the muffins to me). Haven't tried the coffee yet. read more
