Came here around noon on a Friday. Was fairly busy with people ordering, and some picking up sandwiches ordered online. We would have done that, but this was a last minute decision to stop by. Turkey sandwich on dutch bread -1/5: My wife is lactose / egg intolerant and cannot take any mayonnaise. She asked for no mayo on the sandwich, but it seems it was added to the sandwich, then scraped off, as the employee asked again what she didn't want. He said "oh", and proceeded to make the sandwich. An hour later, she did not feel good for the rest of the day and the next morning, as it was clear that mayo was still on the bread. The bread itself tasted like day old bread as it did not have any crunch, and was very chewy. This ruined the sandwich. Goomba - 1/5: Ordered with Dutch bread as well which was chewy. Not only was it chewy, but it was the driest sandwich I have ever had. I even added more red wine vinegar at home, but still could finish this sandwich due to the overly chewy bread. I ended up throwing the bread out, and ate the innards of the sandwich instead. I will say this was the worst sandwich I have ever had, and never thought I would have experienced that. I could have come on an off day, but it's going to be a while before I return. Jersey Mikes, Ikes, and Crust offer much better sandwiches in the area. I come to Mr. Pickles often, and every single visit reminds me why it's one of my go-to spots. The customer service here is consistently excellent -- the team truly cares about getting your order right and making you feel welcome. One experience really stood out. I was helped by the owner, and not only was he kind and attentive, but when I wasn't sure exactly what my husband wanted on his sandwich, he went above and beyond. He thoughtfully put some of the toppings I was unsure about on the side so my husband could customize it himself at home. He even added a whole avocado on the side, just because. That level of care is rare. Food-wise, my favorite sandwich is the Hang Loose; it never misses. Fun, flavorful, and made exactly how I want it every time. It's moments like this that keep me coming back. I actually prefer going into the store instead of ordering through DoorDash, not because delivery isn't convenient, but because the genuine human interaction here is refreshing. The stars are mainly for the service. My coworker and I had lunch. The gentleman that helped us was engaging and helpful compared to the other workers. Our sandwiches were pretty good. The only thing was just by looking at it, didn't look like there was much meat. I've been to the one off crow canyon location. The sandwiches at the crow canyon weren't as meat skimpy as the ones at this location. We still think the sandwiches are tasty but more meat would of been even better read more

The sandwiches here are tasty. I've tried a few but my favorite is the "Hot T" on sourdough with the works, no mayo. Consistently good and made with care. Sometimes there is a lunch rush wait but I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes to place an order. The staff is always attentive and friendly even when they have a crush of in-person and on-line orders to complete. 1 star ding is because the drink selection is average and the bottled choices are not as plentiful as I would like. After many years since my previous review, this Mr. Pickles is still great. My most recent visit took place a few days before New Year's and I believe the owner was in the midst of making sandwiches for customers. He and his staff greeted each customer. I opted for the Veggie Pestoli and it was packed full of ingredients, as was the Mr. Pickles sandwich. Although I didn't eat my sandwich immediately, it held up well a couple of hours later upon eating it. The Veggie Pestoli was so hearty that I only ate 1/2 and that kept me full for the rest of the day. One of my favorite things about Mr. Pickles is that they provide chocolate chip cookies with each order, I usually eat that first. The cookies aren't too sweet. Ample parking, clean restrooms, friendly staff, I'll be back next time I'm passing through the area and need a sandwich. #5/2023 read more

The older lady working there looks absolutely miserable and has a staring problem, while sitting in there, dirty dining room my husband and I noticed a mouse trap under the beverage station. So disgusting, and they had a whole bunch of teenagers working there that you could totally tell did not take pride and making sandwiches. I haven't been here in a while but came back today for lunch. I was excited when I heard they now had 3 different sizes but now I know that was just a way for them to skyrocket their prices for the same sandwiches. I got what was a "Sammie" the middle size with chips and a drink and it was $16.69 with tax. For a medium sandwich chips and a drink that's a ridiculous price. I could go to other sandwich shops for less and with better options. I was sad to find they no longer offer anything other than mayo yellow mustard and the garlic sauce. I loved the honey mustard they used to offer but I guess the new owner didn't like giving his customers options. While I work close to this location I will not be back I would much rather go to any of the other sandwich shops in town. read more

The food was alright, not too spectacular. It was expensive, and the portion size on the menu did not match what you get: $70 for 4 "sammies," which were mid and looked like a kid's portion. I overheard what appeared to be the owner or a manager saying something to one of the employees about tossing out the gloves the employee used between making sandwiches and cash handling. This bothered me, and you can tell it bothered the employee being told that--the sandwich artisans were friendly and fast. The inside looks like the average Mr. Pickles; however, I believe they may all be independently owned. Their bread is always fresh, my fav is their Dutch Crunch; super light and fluffy with a nice crunch! I always order the Mr. Pickles here. Chicken, avocado, bacon, cheese, and their oh so amazing garlic sauce, topped off with: lettuce, pepper, onion, and tomatoes My husband gets their BBQ Tri Tip. He's not a big sandwich person, but LOVES their BBQ tri tip sandwich is is smothered in bbq and their garlic sauce. The tri too is cooked to perfection; not overly cooked! And of course, their free fresh baked cookies! Who can resist those!? Tip: make sure you check in! I got a nice surprise when I checked in and got a free soft drink. read more

I did an online order which I picked up and took home. The sandwich that I ordered had mayonnaise, which I had specifically asked to be omitted. I went in a couple of days later to let them know and the owner told me I should have let him know that night when I got home. I looked at him and said "you don't believe me?". I door dashed a sandwich today, asked for extra mustard, just expecting more mustard than normal but nothing crazy. It shows up, and it's a mustard sandwich. Absolutely disgusting. Drowning in mustard, the paper that it's wrapped in is soaked from the mustard. It looks like the bottle exploded on it and they just didn't remake the sandwich. Listen, I don't want to be mean, but I'm going to be, you have to be not very intelligent to do this to a sandwich. What were you thinking? Demanding my money back, writing a terrible review, and showing pictures. This is absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable. I'm not even going to say this is a training issue because you shouldn't have to teach someone to not put that much mustard on a sandwich even if it says "extra mustard". This review is for my visit on December 17, 2024. I brought my coworkers here who were visiting from Washington and SoCal. We were greeted with a warm welcome and left with a full and satisfied stomach. My coworkers were very pleased! There was a man behind the counter (presumably the owner), and he had the best attitude towards his customers and employees.
