The saddest veggie sandwich you ever did see.
    Lori R.

Dude, it's been a while, so I decided to give them a try yet again!!!! Big mistake. I really don't know how they mess up the easiest sandwich on the menu. Ordered the veggie. It comes with veggies, mine did not have much on it, yet again.

I ordered #7 Reuben Pastrami Sandwich and it tasted good but I noticed the sandwiches are much smaller now.

Where has this place been????? bf and I were hungry and wanted to get a small bite and eat it at the park. Found this place on Yelp and decided to go. When I tell you, this is one of the best sandwiches I have had in a longggg time ‍ we got the SMOKED BRISKET, it's on their speciality menu. Also added in tomato bisque (super good!) Overall, super satisfied and super happy it's near me!! It is a bit on the pricier side for a sandwich, but you get the bang for the buck. Portions are pretty big, and the sourdough is *chef's kiss*

My meal was absolutely delicious. Ordered a bowl of soup meal that comes with a side salad, 3 slices of sourdough bread, and a can of soda for under $16. I am staying locally for work and wanted to take it back to my hotel, but I was afraid the soup would be cold by the time I got there. Soup was piping hot, sourdough had a crispy crust and soft middle, and my salad was fresh and crisp. The have a great variety of dressings and at least two soup offerings per day. Gabriela was attentive, friendly, and helpful.

Sourdough is a chain similar to Subway and it's friends. I like it better than Subway but not as well as a full service New York deli like Domenico's in Danville, or even better the many corner delis in Manhattan. I had a Reuben pastrami that came with a marble rye. To Sourdough's credit, marble rye is an excellent choice! Many delis don't have marble rye bread. The restaurant is clean and nicely maintained. We will be back when in Livermore and want a good sandwich.

Are you even from the SF Bay Area if you can't appreciate a good sourdough sandwich? The bread is true to the name, though I would love to see some more vegetarian options. On this occasion we got the Caprese and the Roast Beef. I though the Caprese was good but could have used a bit more filling of everything (Tomatoes, pesto aioli and the mozzarella), there were parts of the sandwich where I was just eating the bread and it can get pretty bland. Overall a decent sandwich shop tucked into the Fallon shopping area. There is little seating inside so you can always sit outside when the weather is nice, which is what we ended up doing. This is going to be on my rotation for those afternoons requiring a sandwich fix.

I *love* the sandwiches here! Everything is sliced thin, which I love. The bread is warm & made fresh. My favorite is the hot pastrami. The people working there are very kind as well.

My friend told me about this place and I had to give it a try. I have ate at many sandwich shops before, and she told me that it is better then most chain sandwich shops you go to. When browsing the menu, I was immediately drawn into the peppered turkey option. My go to is usually a roast beef, but any shop that serves peppered turkey deserves a taste from me. The sandwich was really good along with the sourdough bread. It was plentiful with the size I got. The side salad accompanied it really well and it felt refreshing overall. I had a good lunch out of eating this and I would see myself ordering from here again

Overall, I really enjoyed the food here. The chicken rice was aromatic, flavorful and had a really nice texture to it. The chicken is tender and the thin outer skin has a gelatinous quality to it like a well-prepared Hainanese chicken. Honestly I had no notes on this dish. Hard to improve. I generally avoid roast duck at restaurants because of how fatty it is, but the one here was surprisingly good. While there were a few pieces with a thick section of fat between the skin and the meat, the majority of the pieces had a nice balance. There's a sweet tangy sauce that's included on the side with the duck that I really enjoyed as well. If you're looking for lean duck, you'll probably want to stick with the Chiu Chow marinated duck. Service is pretty minimal here, but our waitress stopped by our table once to refill our waters and to check on how we liked the food. Overall, 4.5 stars rounding up to a 5.

I placed the order over the phone and asked for it without the skin since I'm not a fan of slimy chicken skin unless it's crispy. A few minutes later they called back to ask if I wanted bone in or boneless. I told them bone in was fine, I just didn't want the skin. When I got home and ate it, the food was okay overall. The chicken was cold, not like it had been sitting out, but more like it had just come out of the refrigerator. The peanuts were actually a nice touch and added good flavor and texture. I also liked the ginger sauce they poured over the chicken, but there really wasn't enough of it. I wish they gave extra on the side in a separate container. The side veggies were okay too. It came with cucumbers, quail eggs, and fungus. I ate everything except the fungus. It had a very unique flavor that I just couldn't get into. Overall it wasn't bad, but I've definitely had better Hainan chicken elsewhere, so I'm not sure if I'd come back again.

It was early dinner time on a Friday evening and it wasn't overly crowded. All 6 of us got different items and overall it's a matter of preference for what kind of broth and protein you'd like that depicts the meal, the toppings are generally all the same. Consider this place to almost be a "make your own ramen" type of thing, in that you're given a platter of toppings to add to your bowl of steaming hot broth, mix it and let it sit, then voila! It's ready to eat. For a rainy winter evening, it was perfect to have some tasty noodle soup!

The service was really good, they are super on top of cleaning and serving so my food came out in about 15-20 minutes. I got the combo with an appetizer, drink, and noodle soup. The portions were pretty generous. -grapefruit tea: thought it was pretty yummy! I also tried out the super fruit tea and i really liked it but personally found it to be a little too sweet. Not too much to displease though! I mixed some water and it was perfect for me. -tomato beef brisket noodle soup: i was surprised by how tender the meat was and how much they actually give you. If you love tomato soups as much as i do then it's definitely a great option! -takoyaki & lamb skewers: my sister had one dish from her combo order and i has my own but was able to try both! The lamb skewers were a bit smaller than expected but were flavorful with a fragrant aroma. The takoyaki came in about 5 balls and while they didn't include all typical takoyaki toppings it was still pretty good considering it came as a combo! Overall, i really loved coming by this place, my main concern is that it's actually in a pretty busy plaza so parking can be a little difficult during peak business hours. Otherwise it's located in a really great area relatively close to some shopping areas such as the Livermore outlets or even other smaller shopping plazas. Give this place a try if you're in the area and looking for a good eat without breaking the wallet!

But years later, Tasty Pot at Ulferts Center is still one of our reliable go-to spots in Dublin. My wife usually orders the Beef Hot Soup, while I go for the Taiwanese Supreme Spicy Hot Soup - both with a side of rice and either black or green tea during lunchtime. Both pots are consistently delicious, satisfying, and served steaming hot - the kind of hot that clears your sinuses and makes your nose run. For reference, we order them at the "medium" spice level, so either we're weak sauce or they really are that hot and spicy. I especially like that Tasty Pot's meals are complete individual servings. You get the full hot-pot experience without having to fetch ingredients, wait for a communal pot to cook, or coordinate a family-style meal. It's easy, convenient, and perfect when everyone just wants to dig into their own bowl. Service has always been fast, and the food comes out piping hot and ready to enjoy. The wait staff also checks in to see whether you are running low on soup and need a top-off. They also have a rewards program that earns you points toward a free hot pot; it has changed over the last couple of years from a "buy seven, get one free" setup to a points-based system - either way, it's a nice bonus. If you're craving comforting Taiwanese-style hot pot in the Dublin, Pleasanton, or Livermore area, this is an easy five-star choice.

My sister recommended Tasty Pot because she said it was well known for its soup and good service,…read moreso we decided to give this location a try. Unfortunately, our experience at the Dublin location was extremely disappointing. We visited on August 8, 2026, at around 8:45 PM. We are a family of 9 and were just passing through the area on our way to our hotel. Since the restaurant's website states that the closing time is 9:30 PM, we thought we had enough time to have dinner, especially since this was our first time visiting. As soon as we arrived, however, we were told by the server that 8:45 PM was the last call for orders. We immediately tried to order as quickly as possible using the online ordering system because we did not want to inconvenience the staff. After placing our order, we were then told that green tea and other teas were unavailable, so all of our drink orders were canceled except for water. We understood that items can sometimes run out, so we let that go. The biggest problem was the service and atmosphere after we received our food. It was very difficult to get the attention of the staff because everyone seemed to be rushing around cleaning. We genuinely felt like we were a burden simply because we were still eating. What was especially inappropriate was that while customers were still dining, the staff began putting chairs up on the tables. I even took a picture because I believe management should be aware of what was happening. If the restaurant is still open and customers are still eating, this is not the kind of atmosphere customers should be subjected to. Even worse, it appeared that the AC was turned off while we were still eating, even though it was not yet closing time. With hot pot already being a very warm meal, we were literally sweating while trying to eat. After a long day of traveling, the last thing we wanted was to feel rushed and uncomfortable during dinner. We tried not to make a big issue out of it because we were tired and simply wanted to finish our meal and get to our hotel. But honestly, this type of service is unacceptable. I don't know if this is how every Tasty Pot location operates, but if this is specific to this branch, management really needs to address it and properly train the staff on how to treat customers who are still dining during business hours. Unfortunately, this was our first experience with Tasty Pot, and it will most likely be our last. We were hoping to enjoy the food and understand why my sister recommended it, but the poor service and uncomfortable atmosphere completely ruined the experience. With hot pot, the food is already hot enough. There's no need for the customers to leave with a boiling-hot temper because of the service. Very disappointing, and definitely not a place I would recommend based on this experience.
