This is the newest location for Joe's Pho, it is also the biggest and more modern Vietnamese vibe with extensive menu. Service was attentive and.friendly. Food is overall good as expected like their other locations. Solid and legit Viet eatery.

Loved the food here - it takes me a while to prepare my pho to my liking but once it's all said and done that plate is almost empty and I get to take some home to enjoy later! I love the chicken pho and Vietnamese coffee! The menu is huge and so is the inside! I love how they also have a transformer inside there space, honestly that's one of my favorite movies so walking inside and seeing that - made my whole day! :) plus + free ice cream at the end!

This is our 2nd visit & we enjoyed dining here more this time. Last time, I was intrigued by a tower of plates served to the table next to us. It is called the Self Roll ($22.95). It is 10 plates of wrappers - vermicelli or rice paper and a plate with 2 meats, veggies, & dipping sauce. I chose 5 vermicelli, 5 rice paper with grilled pork & grilled chicken. It was a little messy but fun wrapping the meats in the wrappers. Super yummy, too. Meats were lean & topped with crunchy garlic. The tower can feed two! Hubby had the vermicelli bowl ($22.95) It was very flavorful even without the sauce. Again, the serving is big enough for two. To top it off, a self serve counter offered complimentary dessert - soft serve, and two others, not sure what they were though but it was perfect palette cleansers! Service is simple. When he took our orders, he explained the mechanics of the Self Roll & answered our questions. Once the food was delivered, he came back to drop off the check while we were still dining and said, "No rush." Dining hall is big, spacious, and comfy. It has a big "Bumble Bee" from Transformers welcoming patrons!

Had a great experience at Joe's Pho in Dublin! The pho broth tastes homemade and has so much depth and flavor, definitely one of the highlights of the meal. They also give you a generous portion of meat and toppings, and I love that they offer different pho sizes. Even the regular size is a very satisfying portion. The fried spring rolls were fresh and clearly made to order, crispy, hot, and delicious. Since it was a slower time when we visited, the service was very attentive and welcoming. The restaurant itself is spacious and a great option for larger groups. Another bonus is the location, it's right across from the movie theater, which makes it a perfect spot to grab dinner before a movie. Definitely a place I'd come back to!

This is as authentic as it gets. The dining room is spacious, clean, and the decorations remind me of the big fancy restaurants in Saigon. The menu here is extensive! The food is delicious. We have had pork chops and rice plates, bun cha Hanoi, various banh mi, cha gio (eggrolls), Fresh rolls, and the hue combination plate. All were very good. The pho is also solid. I love the free dessert bar-with soft serve machines, coconut waffles, and misc tapiocas.

This Restaurant is great for big groups, open, airy space with a fun street-style Vietnamese vibe. The soda chanh was incredibly refreshing and one of the highlights of the meal. The pho had great flavor, though it was a bit saltier than I personally prefer. Overall, a great atmosphere and I'd definitely come back.

Like how spacious it is here and it's a nice location right where the theaters are. They have a variety of dishes to choose from. I was hoping they had banh cuon but no. They had something they considered similar. But again no not what I wanted. Ended up having beef stew and my friend had herself a pho. We also had nem nuong spring rolls which I was happy they had. Spring rolls are always good for me as long as there's no bean sprouts. Which they made to order. I was a bit surprised there was at least a good portion of beef in it. My friend said her pho was good. I'm still used to my pho spots in San Jose.. but this place is second to the closest I can get in the area. Staff and service was alright. Not as attentive as you would think on a slow night but it was probably a long night for them. Clean restrooms was a plus as well. I most likely would come back if in the area and in the mood for Vietnamese.

Updating my review from 5 stars to 3 stars based on my most recent visits. I used to really enjoy coming here, but unfortunately the quality and consistency haven't been the same lately. One thing I always appreciated was the complimentary dessert, but the last few times we visited they were out every single time. Not a huge deal, but definitely noticeable when it used to be part of the experience. We ordered pho and it arrived lukewarm, almost like it had been sitting out before being served. That was disappointing since a hot, flavorful broth is what makes pho so comforting. We also ordered the pork egg rolls, but the texture seemed off and they tasted undercooked. The spring rolls were the highlight of the meal though -- fresh, flavorful, and honestly the best thing we ordered that day. I'm hoping this was just a rough stretch because I've had great experiences here in the past, but based on these recent visits, I felt it was fair to update my rating.

I want to be honest about my experience at this restaurant. The food is five stars all the way, especially the pho, which was really tasty. However, the customer service needs some improvement. There was no greeting when we arrived, and nobody checked on us to see if our meal was good. On the bright side, the place was clean, which is always a plus. Overall, I enjoyed the food but hope to see better service next time.

The appetizer rice cup cake is so delicious! Will order again. I always like the rib pho. Such a great price for such a huge bowl and rib! Service is fast, accurate, patient. I asked to have my spicy soup into non spicy: no question asked and immediately changed. That WAS customer service! Ambiance was nice, huge store, clean and bright. Plenty of parking in the theatre parking lot.

First time here and tried the Pho#1. Great, savory broth with perfectly proportioned meat to noodle ratio. Bowl is large but largely broth (which again is savory and delicious). Dining area is large and clean. Definitely coming back to try the other items since Joe's Pho is much than just Pho.

Didn't try the pho but had the rice plate and it was very good. I ordered the Korean short rib plate and it was very good. I restaurant inside is very nice and very open. They have a big bumble bee statue inside the restaurant. The service good waiters took care of my big party for dinner. The cherry on top is they have free vanilla soft serve inside. Always have room for a sweet treat after! Overall I give this establishment a 4/5 star review. Will definitely be back to try the pho on my next visit!

Came here late on a Sunday night and lucky for us last call is at 10:45pm. This is located right next to the movie theaters. I've been to the one in San Leandro and wasn't aware they had a location in Dublin, we will go here from now on! The restaurant is spacious inside and service was friendly and fast. We had a pork chop rice plate and large combo pho, and ban xeo for appetizers. Everything was delicious! Even Thai tea with boba. They don't add service charge like San Leandro so I like that. The ban xeo was my favorite as it was crispy and fresh. Definitely recommend this place if you're craving Vietnamese food.

It was early dinner time on a Friday evening and it wasn't overly crowded. All 6 of us got different items and overall it's a matter of preference for what kind of broth and protein you'd like that depicts the meal, the toppings are generally all the same. Consider this place to almost be a "make your own ramen" type of thing, in that you're given a platter of toppings to add to your bowl of steaming hot broth, mix it and let it sit, then voila! It's ready to eat. For a rainy winter evening, it was perfect to have some tasty noodle soup!

The service was really good, they are super on top of cleaning and serving so my food came out in about 15-20 minutes. I got the combo with an appetizer, drink, and noodle soup. The portions were pretty generous. -grapefruit tea: thought it was pretty yummy! I also tried out the super fruit tea and i really liked it but personally found it to be a little too sweet. Not too much to displease though! I mixed some water and it was perfect for me. -tomato beef brisket noodle soup: i was surprised by how tender the meat was and how much they actually give you. If you love tomato soups as much as i do then it's definitely a great option! -takoyaki & lamb skewers: my sister had one dish from her combo order and i has my own but was able to try both! The lamb skewers were a bit smaller than expected but were flavorful with a fragrant aroma. The takoyaki came in about 5 balls and while they didn't include all typical takoyaki toppings it was still pretty good considering it came as a combo! Overall, i really loved coming by this place, my main concern is that it's actually in a pretty busy plaza so parking can be a little difficult during peak business hours. Otherwise it's located in a really great area relatively close to some shopping areas such as the Livermore outlets or even other smaller shopping plazas. Give this place a try if you're in the area and looking for a good eat without breaking the wallet!

The menu itself isn't extensive, but mostly just noodle focused based, with some of the variations of what the base and meats are, and of course the cold dishes that typically comes with a beef noodle eating experience. Price wise, it's not cheap, but for beef noodle places there's not too many of those places around, and if they are around they're usually not that great. The place isn't huge, but there are a fair number of tables in there all closeish together. Again, not a large place, so mostly smaller tables, but can certainly be pieced together for larger parties. Service here was good, no issues. Let's talk food! The cold dishes were good. Nothing out of the ordinary, but one thing that is good even though the cost of them are a bit high is that the quantity they give you is at least a decent amount. If you like the cold dishes, you will get plenty with each order. Now to the noodles. We got a chow mein style noodles and then of course the beef noodle soup. The chow mein noodles were not bad, but wasn't out of the ordinary. It was tasty and I would be happy to eat it again. The beef noodle soup was definitely tasty. The noodles here, in both the chow mein and in the noodle soup were nice quality and texture, just the right QQness to them. The beef in the beef noodle soup is where most restaurants tend to struggle with, particularly the chain dumpling places that offers beef noodle soup and when it arrives, they're just the beef slices from the appetizer dish. Not here, these were actual chunks of beef that have been cooked for awhile and actually stewed. They were good and plentiful in this soup. All-in-all, CA Noodles is a good option for some good beef noodles if you're ever in the mood. The place isn't big, so they may get filled pretty quickly depending on the time of day, and the actual day. Worth the visit.

It's more of a 3.5 round up to a 4…read more I honestly can't remember the last time I've had food from a Hong Kong cafe until my friend and I were in the area last week and this place popped up on my Yelp search for food. Located in a plaza, parking is abundant and free. The restaurant is pretty spacious and we were seated promptly on arrival. I appreciate the vast selection of options from each category and opted for their XO rice rolls and porridge. The XO rice rolls tasted great and nostalgic, but the porridge was way too thick. Overall, service was efficient and some of the staff were friendly. Bathrooms were cleaned.

I've been to Hong Kong Cafe a few times already, but I have to say this is the best visit yet…read more Friday afternoon, the busiest I've seen. The servers kept the service flowing well, despite how hectic lunch time rush is. Our server was welcoming, friendly, & attentive. My friend and I were able to get a round table in the center of the restaurant, within a few minutes. Comfortable atmosphere, a bit loud, but manageable to hold conversations. We ordered the Chinese donut, veggies (which is like pea sprouts with garlic "damu*"), salt & pepper tofu, and baked seafood with the cream sauce & rice. And of course, had to order Hong Kong style milk tea & coffee mix drink "yuen yeung". Everything was delicious! Whoever's cooking in the kitchen did a commendable job today. You can tell they can cook authentic HK food. If you visit here, don't forget to try out their chili crisp hot sauce. It's so good! Perfectly spicy. Had to take a bit home with my leftover food. The dishes are big portions. So, I usually have enough leftovers to take home and save for later to enjoy.
