Came here on a Friday at 6:30pm and didn't have to wait in line, which was a huge plus. The restaurant did get filled up shortly after us though. Overall, it was a solid spot. We ordered: Dandan noodles Soup dumplings Popcorn chicken Green beans All really delicious and good portions. The food came out quickly too. I really enjoyed dinner here and will definitely come back!

Stopped by for a late dinner on 5/23 and they were busy at 8:30 ish. We were seated within 5-8 minutes but other than that, no attention was given other than the staff bringing another place setting. Since this was not our first time here, I scanned the QR code and ordered my items. Other than bringing our food, we had to ask for water, ask for to go boxes, and had to ask for our check. No one checked on us, hence minus the star. In their defense, they were busy, so perhaps they need to better staff for a Saturday night on a holiday weekend. Items ordered: Green onion pancake- As expected. This can get greasy, so we usually dab a piece of napkin over it to absorb the grease. Pan fried pork buns- Always a favorite of ours. Juicy and perfectly crispy on the outside Snowflake pan fried dumplings- Another solid choice. Juicy and perfectly crispy Cucumber salad- A nice crunchy appetizer and not overly dressed. Beef noodle soup- as expected Black fish hot pot noodles- This was not as photographed. No mushrooms and just ok. Spicy Dan Dan Noodles- A tad too spicy for hubby but fine for me. A good dish if you like some heat.

Not bad! We came in during the afternoon and were seated immediately. The service was friendly and quick. The food itself was ok, and it gets the job don't but not my favorite. I was very thirsty for the rest of the day and night, so I do think a lot of MSG was used. I'd come back only if I was in the area and was craving this. It's reasonable priced for the quality and portions.

Had a great experience here today. The place was busy, but we only had to wait about 10 minutes. The staff were really friendly and kept reassuring us that we'd be seated soon. Once you sit down, they hand you an iPad to place your order, which made everything quick and easy. Food: Braised Pork Belly Mixed Noodles Steamed Pork Soup Dumplings Steamed Crab Roe Dumplings Both soup dumplings were amazing -- bursting with flavor. I usually expect soup dumplings to lean salty, but these had two very distinct flavors that were rich, balanced, and incredibly satisfying. The crab roe dumplings had just the right amount of seafood flavor without being overpowering. The braised pork belly noodles were great too. The noodles were soft, while the pork was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Definitely a spot worth coming back to for dumplings and noodles.

Smallest prawn I ever seen

Honey walnut prawns- wouldn't order again. Bad fry, overly battered & tiniest prawn I've ever seen. No sauce. When we asked for more sauce, they literally just squeezed a regular tasting mayo on it. It didn't have the same sweetness the original sauce had. Green beans- yummy seasoning. Wish it wasn't so soggy & they trimmed it better. It was stringy still. Beef wrap- YUM! Good onion pancake & good sauce. XLBs- good and tasty filling & soup Clear beef noodle soup- noodles were bouncy & broth was delicious. Wish it had more choy Steam dumplings

Huge portions. Love the chili oil condiment, very fragrant and tasty on all dishes. Also has a nice kick. I think this menu can be endlessly explored and you won't be disappointed.

Always come here for the sweet and sour pork, different from the southern Chinese cooking and is a must try. Love their noodles too! Friendly and great service

Love the fish noodle! It's the perfect spicy and numbness level. We even ordered extra noodle since we just can't stop! The service is also very good. Since my daugher can't handle the spicy level, they even offered a small bowl of none spicy beef soup and it's so yummy!

This restaurant has a lot of variety, from veggies, sweet and sour chicken to cumin beef, noodles, and rice, but it's quite pricey the a food was okay. In a busy plaza, so parking close to restaurant can be tricky. Weekday lunch was quite busy, but was able to get a table. Order xiaolongbao (pork soup dumplings) $13.95), braised beef noodle soup ($18.49), small red bean sesame balls ($10.49). Prices are quite steep, even for family style, the dishes were that not that large. I wanted some veggies, but it was $20, other dishes cumin lamb is $27.99. You will need to ask for ginger which compliments the xiaolong bao, I've never had to ask for with ginger when ordering xiaolong bao. Xiaolong bao had a great thin wrap, the filling was alright. For the braised beef noodle dish, portion needs to be larger to justify the price. The meat needed more braided flavor and it was dry. Noodles had good chew. Overall, the food was okay, has a ton of food variety, but quite pricey. I think 88 baobao which is the down the road has the better option for soup dumplings.

Stopped by on a Saturday evening with family and there was no wait. The interior was modern and had nice leafy decor and lights. We ordered the beef rolls, the soup pan fried pork buns, braise rib mixed noodle, and old Peking minced pork noodle. All the dishes were super flavorful, and I especially loved the soup pan fried pork buns because they were piping hot and crispy on the bottom. Service was super quick and friendly. This is a good stop for comforting Chinese food!

fried rice and spicy pork belly soup

Casual restaurant. Not a long weight, so that was nice. We got XLB pork dumplings which were delicious! Also really enjoyed the spicy pork belly noodle soup. The noodles in this was nice and chewy. Skip on the Zha Jiang Mian. There were barely any meat and sauce. Also the flavor was not hitting. The pan fried dumplings were pretty good. Also house fried rice was flavorful. The service was a bit slow. Food took a while even though there were barely any people there.

Like the noodle options here. Tastes good and serves fast! Will come back if coming to Livermore again!

Pan fried buns with soup inside 4/5* and flavorful
Bobby L.

I'm a bit on the fence about this place because with a 4.5 star review I thought this place would be really good. The star of this dinner was the fish filet noodle soup for $23 I believe! The flavor in this dish was really good and there was a good amount of the fish as well. The broth was extremely flavorful where we actually drank all of it. 5/5* The chow fun was so underwhelming, there was the slightest hint of wok flavor but not enough where I'd come back for it again. They definitely don't give enough to make it worth $16. This would probably be a skip for me 2/5* The beef noodle soup, I'm not sure why, but we got super fatty pieces of meat where, sure it was good, but I didn't order beef fat noodle soup. Flavor profile wise I wish the noodles were more chewy and broth left me longing for something more flavorful. 3/5* Finally, the pan fried buns, they were tasty and had a good amount of soup and meat inside, but tell me why we ordered that first and it took them 1 hour to make them? We got all our food and finished dinner before they came out. 4/5* for flavor Overall our experience was mixed, they were slightly busy, but they had 3 people working and all the tables weren't full. I politely asked the guy for a plate twice, first time he ignored me, second time I walked up when he was next to the plates and asked him for one and he ignored me again; I got the plate myself instead. Our IPad for ordering shut off randomly and the lady looked annoyed when we asked her to unlock it again. The iPad is fully in Chinese so don't expect much help from the wait staff unless you use their 39mile QR code. Service was 1.5/5* I usually don't dock restaurants on service, but it was annoying enough to where I'm taking away their 3.5* rating (would round up to a 4* and making it 3* Food: 3.5/5* Service: 1.5/5* Value: 3/5*

I'm sure she makes everyone feel that way. She communicates with the chef and they got our order perfect (no onions). The zha jiang noodles were our favorite. The texture of the noodles was bouncy and perfectly cooked and the veggies were fresh and neatly sliced. This dish has impressive qualities and the flavors were well balanced. The hot chili wontons had a nice kick to them and not too spicy. The potstickers are a good vegetarian option and the tofu, mushroom and basil worked well together and that butterfly made out of carrots was gorgeous. I hear the chef makes them by hand. Thank you to the server for helping us with our order and being so kind. Our dinner was superb. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. We will definitely be back next time we're in town.

It was early dinner time on a Friday evening and it wasn't overly crowded. All 6 of us got different items and overall it's a matter of preference for what kind of broth and protein you'd like that depicts the meal, the toppings are generally all the same. Consider this place to almost be a "make your own ramen" type of thing, in that you're given a platter of toppings to add to your bowl of steaming hot broth, mix it and let it sit, then voila! It's ready to eat. For a rainy winter evening, it was perfect to have some tasty noodle soup!

The portions were pretty generous. -grapefruit tea: thought it was pretty yummy! I also tried out the super fruit tea and i really liked it but personally found it to be a little too sweet. Not too much to displease though! I mixed some water and it was perfect for me. -tomato beef brisket noodle soup: i was surprised by how tender the meat was and how much they actually give you. If you love tomato soups as much as i do then it's definitely a great option! -takoyaki & lamb skewers: my sister had one dish from her combo order and i has my own but was able to try both! The lamb skewers were a bit smaller than expected but were flavorful with a fragrant aroma. The takoyaki came in about 5 balls and while they didn't include all typical takoyaki toppings it was still pretty good considering it came as a combo! Overall, i really loved coming by this place, my main concern is that it's actually in a pretty busy plaza so parking can be a little difficult during peak business hours. Otherwise it's located in a really great area relatively close to some shopping areas such as the Livermore outlets or even other smaller shopping plazas. Give this place a try if you're in the area and looking for a good eat without breaking the wallet!
