Lakeside Coffee Bar can be a bit tricky to find, but it's located inside of the business center. They offer great coffee specials (espresso martinis, lattes, etc) breakfast items, and pastries that will sell out if you're not quick enough! Their breakfast burrito is filling, and their highlight of Equator coffee always satisfies my coffee needs. The view of the lake is refreshing, and staff has been consistently helpful and friendly.

Friendly service and lots of seasonal coffees. There were pastries and breakfast items like bacon quiche and breakfast burritos. I loved the view and the cleanliness. It's in a corporate office building so it is hidden.

Good view and a good place to chill and relax. Latte and mocha didn't really have the coffee taste (wish the coffee can be stronger) Had a pretty relaxation time there

Truly flabber-de-gasted when I visited Lakeside Coffee for the first time. What is this beautiful place?? What secret garden have I stumbled upon?? My friend once mentioned she went on a date at the lake next to City Center, and I was like where does a lake fit in that area and how come I've never seen it?? Behold. Lakeside Coffee is...lakeside! I watched a paddle boat paddle off in the distance and it was the most scenic thing I've seen in San Ramon lol. The coffee shop is located in a beautiful convention center and I never thought I would be jealous of conference attendees scooping food from their lunch buffet :P Blueberry Crumble ($5.50): This was on the seasonal specials menu and for some reason I thought I was ordering an actual blueberry crumble...I stared at the drink for a good 5 seconds when it was ready lol. However! No regrets since hubby liked it :) Cappuccino ($3.75): My go-to when I don't know which coffee to get. Hit the spot! I can't wait to spend more time here and take my family paddle boating hehe. At a lake! In San Ramon!

I only got an Americano which was fine nothing special but it was a good strong coffee and it wasn't acidic at all. The service was fast and the cashier was very nice. The ambience is why I rate it so well. The vibe was very much a work office. It was quiet with everyone doing their own work. The view was beautiful and there was a lot of natural lighting, which I enjoyed.

Roundhouse is a beautiful facility just walking distance from Bishop Ranch. Lakeside can be a bit hard to find at first, but just keep going through the front sliding doors and you'll see it directly across the way. Small, friendly, full service coffee bar that made a great dirty chai. Bathrooms can be hard to find, and it is an active office/conference space throughout the week, so exploring can lead to awkward encounters haha. There's a good sized food court and library, but the standout for me is the walking path that wraps around the man-made pond out back. It's tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the general public, but if you're not working in the building you could feel a bit of impostor syndrome. Overall a great spot i'll totally be coming back to.

They were out of cold brew at the time.... however, I would definitely give it another try. I got a strawberry cream danish and it was divine! I opted for an iced matcha latte which was decent. They had indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful views! Staff was friendly and attentive. 4/5 stars only due to not having cold brew.

I believe this coffee shop scored high because of the lake view. This is the WORST latte I have ever had. It was all ice and milk. No flavor whatsoever. I could have done better going to 7-11 and picking up a Starbucks vanilla latte and sitting by the lake. The service was the best thing. Employees were smiling and greeted me immediately.

VIEW: 5/5 - so nice w/the lake. You can take a walk around or they have outdoor seating. It was a bit chilly this morning, so we didn't sit outside for too long. DRINKS: 3/5 - iced chai latte. they use a boxed concentrate, nothing special and had a pink tinge color to it. a bit weird. I asked the girl about it and she sai that's how the concentrate is. hubby got a drip coffee. wish they offered a few more non-coffee options other than tea. PARKING: There's a small visitor lot at the front. We snagged the last spot! I'm not sure where there's additional parking, but if we had not found parking, I think we would've just left. I would come back for the view! Some folks were there working with their laptops, in calls, meetings.

Really good coffee. Super hidden bc it's in an office complex. But what a grand surprise when you go in and see that it is literally lakeside. A man made lake inside what was once chevron and att in the past. Pleasant walking easy walking trail with sand volleyball courts, a cafe and in the warm weather months a free boat ride. There's also a dock to have a bag lunch. Fishing permits are also avail but for catch and release not associated w the coffee shop but w building info.

Tried Lakeside Coffee Bar in San Ramon and really liked it. I ordered their seasonal iced lavender mocha--sounded interesting, but it was too sweet for me. The barista was super nice and made me a less sweet version without any hassle. This place has one of the best views for a coffee shop. You can sit by the lake, get some work done, or just go for a walk. Service was fast, and the vibe is really relaxing. One star off just because the first drink wasn't quite right, but I'll definitely be coming back!

Lakeside Coffee Bar is one of the best places to get work done while sipping on delicious coffee in San Ramon. There's tons of parking. If you can't find a spot in the immediately close lot, you can go to the overflow visitor parking. The coffee shop is in the middle of the Roundhouse lobby. There's some seating inside, but if it's a nice day, I recommend sitting out by the lake. They've got seating right outside of the lobby on the patio or you can even go on the dock. I've never seen it too busy here but do expect to see folks walking around during lunch time. They've got strong, solid WiFi for working (though if you're doing a lot of video calls, it might cut out once or twice). Outside is quiet enough to take your calls, but full of enough people passing by talking to not feel bad about talking on your calls. And of course, you can't beat these views. Who knew San Ramon would have such a nice lake to enjoy? One day, I'll make my way to walk around the lake. Until then, I'll just keep taking my San Ramon meetings and work days from the dock.

Very milky coffee not worth it. Told the barista what I wanted and felt like they didn't get it right and made the coffee overly sweet.

Also if I only based my ratings on the drinks this would easily be 5 stars but I have to say that it's such a long ass wait at this location. I usually order on the app and even then I waited a total of 45 min. Can you imagine waiting in line, ordering, then waiting another 45 min? Wild! Sooo wild.
