I thought it was really tasty and as delicious as expected from a Philz. This location could get a little hectic, since it's one of the most high foot traffic spots in the San Ramon area, so parking gets a little busy as well. We love Philz- it's our favorite Bay Area coffee chain. We frequent Philz often and have our regular orders (soul train for me, philtered soul for him- sweet and creamy for both). Unfortunately the coffee is not consistent and the last few times we've went, we've had horrible experiences- specifically with a barista named Alex. Every single time, the coffee comes out like coffee-scented water. We've asked him to have them made again and they're no different. I wish we were able, especially in the app but also in person, to select the barista we'd prefer. Coffees nowadays are not cheap and it's disappointing to frequent a popular chain that doesn't offer consistency and varied qualify depends on different baristas. Our favorite breakfast item is their sausage burrito. Soooo good with the cholula, but please make the portions bigger!! This should be twice the size for the price. read more
