Outdoor and indoor dining. Lots of TVs and a huge selection of food. The pizza is so good. Try the fried pickles. Huge selection of beer and non alcoholic and slushies

A casual style brewery with great spots to sit and chill ambiance, they have a qr code to place the order and the service was exceptionally good and it was very quick, we have ordered wings, garlic fries and chicken pizza. Food was our pretty quickly and everything was delicious, great location with good options and good service

This is a brewing company located in San Ramon . Their think crust pizza , appetizer and salads are very delicious. We visited on a Sunday around 1 pm . To my surprise it was not too crowded. We were able to find a table and placed the order right the way . Fasting way to place order was on line and the waiter would bring you the food and drinks once they were ready . Parking is a challenge even with a lot of outdoor making and a parking garage . There were many restaurants and shops in this outdoor place . It was extremely crowded with a lot of cars . Restaurant has outdoor seatings and indoors with AC . Restrooms are available. You could get free ice water ( self served ) if you had kids or you didn't want to drink something with sugar . The food was excellent! Appetizer : deer fried cauliflower with dipping sauce. A kale salad , one thin crust pizza for the three of us . Many if their pizza are very delicious. We tried different ones each time . My favorites are Fun Guys ( mushroom) and Hail Mary ( chicken ) . This is one of my favorite place for lunch or dinner .

Fieldwork is known for many beers on tap. As a pub, it has some great food. Today we had a small pizza with mushrooms and sausage. We typically like to add sliced, or diced, tomatoes to our pizzas once it is done. Unfortunately, "add tomatoes" isn't an option. The kale and apple salad with other goodies gave us a nicely flavored salad. To order, scan the QR code in the table. The servers come by to make certain all is good. The restaurant is clean and has a modern appearance.

Rename it to NeedsWork Brewing! This brewing company was a bit of an operational mess. They have a mix of indoor and outside seating and those silly barcodes where you order and pay right in the app. Leave it to Northern California Tech Country to ruin a brewery. Service was bad. The staff seemed like they didn't want to be there and the waitress seemed annoyed that we ordered with her instead of on the app. She was going out of her way to avoid us and not take our order, not bring water, and not stop by to see if we needed anything. It was so bad I can't even give this place 3 stars for OK. They did have a nice selection of beers and I opted for their Belgian Wit which was served in a different glass than I expected. The beer was good and I was impressed with the variety. I never rate a brewery either way on the taste of the beer as that's not fair as tastes differ. But variety, glassware, temperature are all on the table and for beer, this was a winner. Foodwise, the wings seems like they were pre-baked, then reheated later. The skins weren't crispy at all. However, the Calabrian Chili Honey sauce was outstanding. If that sauce was on a properly cooked wing... that's at least worth a 2 star upgrade. The pizza was amazingly delicious! We opted for the cheese pizza over the Margherita and I was glad we did. The crust was awesome, and it had the perfect amount of toppings. We didn't think we'd finish it but it was so good and light, we did! They DID have the cup and char pepperoni but I wasn't in the mood for the grease on this particular day. I'd go back for that. TLDR: Go for pizza and beer and don't be in a rush! If they got their service together, it would be a much better experience.

Had a fantastic time watching a world cup game! We were able to make a reservation, they had a ton of tables set up with views of the many tvs. Online ordering made it so easy for our group. They've expanded the non-beer options since my last review and the Frose was perfect for this day! Pizza still delicious, did a detroit style this time and it was great. Staff was super friendly and helpful even during as busy of a day as a world cup game.

Love this spot! They have a great selection of draft beers. They also have one of the best thin crust pizzas! My favorite is delivery boy! Literally order this and grab some cans to go weekly! They have lots of tables and seating indoors and outdoors. It is great to sit next the heaters and fire pits in the cool evenings too. Very chill vibes.

Haven't been here in a hot minute! Was feeling nostalgic for some pizza and beer (had to have nonalcoholic since I'm pregnant but it was just as good!!). Warning: the black diamond pizza is spicy! I didn't read that thoroughly before ordering so had to pick the peppers off before eating. But it was so good!! I have to say since I'd last been there the pizza did feel a little more cold and mushy?! Still good but I remember it being a hotter pan and less mushy bottom. Maybe they were too busy. The wings were fantastic with ranch. We ate EVERYTHING! Left satiated. There was a private event going on but we sat away from all the ruckus outdoors which was nice! Can't believe they have screen golf too.. this place is an amazing place for private events! Should have had my baby shower here

Best place to hangout at City Center. Our Unofficial Run Club's favorite hangout place is here. We just had our club's One Year Anniversary celebration here at Fieldworks. Staff are great. All are super friendly and accommodating. You can make reservations over the phone or online booking. Each long table sits 8 people and I was able to book 2 table for 16 ppl max. They have a private room at the back u can book for parties but u have to pay a fee, or its first come first serve. If you've never been here, you're definitely missing out. They have great pink slushy cocktails too, and also non alcoholic can drinks as options. Best waiter there - ask for Dom or Omar!

Great brewery located in the Bishop Ranch City Center! It's is a solid spot to hang out, grab a drink, and relax. The beers were good across the board and there was a nice variety to choose from. I definitely recommend getting a flight so you can try a few different styles and find your favorite. They even have a golf simulator in the back. I would definitely come back again.

I first came here with my company on an event and I always thought that it is a place that sells beer only but I was wrong. They had very good pizza and snacks. I brought my daughter here for the pizza and wings, and she loves it! You sit anywhere you like and order your food by scanning the QR code on the table. The server brings out your food and you can close the tap and pay online. Ambience is very casual, but the food are fresh and good.

Glad to have a fieldwork location in San Ramon! Great outdoor area with refreshing beer flights and fresh pizza. I tried the "Churro" and it had subtle notes of vanilla, cinnamon and overall liked it. The rest of the table had flights and gave overall positive reviews. Ambiance is open and welcoming with ample seating outside. You order and pay by QR code so easy peasy although it would be nice to have someone give recommendations for a more personalized experience like in traditional breweries.

Ask the Community - Fieldwork Brewing

    Is outside food still allowed?

No it is not since they started providing their own food.

Can you order beer in a growler to go?

Yes! I have 2 growlers and I come back and they wash it and refill it for you. With a discount.

If planning a retirement party for 20+ do we need to do that in advance or can we just show up and start a tab? Also is outside food allowed?

Hi there! Thanks for the message. Please send an email to info@fieldworkbrewing.com with your preferred date and time so we can make sure to accommodate your group. We have a full food menu, so outside food isn’t allowed. Cheers!

Do they offer free wi-fi/an ok place to get some work done a few hours mid-week?

Is food offered at the San Ramon location?

YES! As of 8/1/2020 they have partnered with C-casa next door for Mexican/Southwestern food. Order from your table and they bring it out, just like a real restaurant. Also,…

The service was friendly and super quick--our entire order came out just minutes after ordering via QR code. My favorite item was the Brewery Platter, a beautifully-presented sampler of German-inspired appetizers, including three warm pretzels, candied bacon, bratwurst, crispy potato pancakes, and candied pepitas, along with spicy mustard, curry ketchup, beer cheese, and pickles. My favorite part of this platter was the warm, chewy pretzels eaten along with the thick, creamy beer cheese, but everything was delicious in its own way! Another highlight was the curry ketchup, which had such a unique combination of tomato flavor with spices. For our mains, the Heirloom Tomato Salad came with mixed greens, feta, and heirloom & cherry tomatoes, along with a balsamic dressing. We also added a Wagyu Beef Patty, which was nicely grilled but on the dry side. The Fried Chicken Sandwich came with a breaded chicken breast, citrus slaw, red onion marmalade, and sauce on a soft bun; and the Fried Fish Sandwich was a similar creation but made with beer battered rock cod. The mains were decent though nothing spectacular. Overall, however, this was a nice, casual brewery for its calm, shaded atmosphere and tasty eats.

The people who run this place keep this place tidy and clean as evidenced by how quickly they cleared my glass and the cleanliness of the bathrooms. I missed the rock n' roll memo, but amazingly talented singers including the KJ himself. The sound system can be pretty loud especially the bass, so ended up keeping my ear plugs in. My only major reservation is how the karaoke queue is managed. Couldn't help but notice the bartenders and some patrons who generously tipped got to sing multiple times in a row. One of the patrons tipped $20 and sang three songs in a row. In comparison, I got one song in in the span of three hours. I kind of expected the place to start clearing out after midnight but ppl stuck around and seemed to be having a good time. If you're not into rock n' roll/metal karaoke, they also have pool, shuffleboard, and darts. I do like the KJ and the patrons here, though in the future, I'll just set the expectation that I'll get one song in and set a curfew for myself.
