Came on Mother's Day share some apps with my daughter. All of the staff members were very nice and helpful. The food was good. Next time I'll try some entrees.

The Beer Baron was turned into a tropical holiday. The decorations were all throughout the restaurant and upstairs, with a red Santa chair for photo ops. I had the Frost Bite cocktail for $18 the beverage consisted of tequila, sage, pineapple, lime, cranberry syrup, and spiced cranberry bitters. It was delicious. My friend had the frozen cocktail; the Coco Ho HoHo that's $18 and the ingredients are gold Jamaican rum, lime, coconut, pineapple, pandan syrup, and banana liqueur. My friend said it was the best. Our appetizers were french fries and short rib birria tacos. The fries were crunchy and tasty, and the birria short rib meat in the taco was full of fat and took away from the flavor profile. Our server was kind, friendly, and attentive. The holiday pop-up will last into the beginning of January.

R&B brunch on Sundays

Went for R&B brunch on a Saturday. It wasn't too packed and they were playing all the 90s and 2000s jams. They don't do the R&B wrench every weekend so you do need to check in and see when is being done if you don't like live music or people singing along this place is not for you. Service was amazing and food. Taste good so mad I didn't get a picture of it. We got a variety of things and cocktails, which were amazing. Definitely planning on going back for R&B brunch.

Cinnamon French toast with hasbrowns, eggs, and bacon

Located in downtown Pleasanton, Beer Baron is ready for this fall season! I came in late October and the whole bar and restaurant was decked out in Halloween decor - so festive and fun! You can make a reservation in advance if you'd like. On a Saturday at 11:30 am we were able to get seated right away with plenty of tables open. They also have outdoor dining. They have fun seasonal cocktails that are worth a try! On the weekends they serve brunch. I ordered the cinnamon French toast with hash browns (you can also sub for country potatoes or side salad) and eggs however way you like them. I didn't know, but they also come with bacon - pleasant surprise! The portion is hefty and I was surprised to see so many parts. The French toast has a beautiful cinnamon crust and is fluffy on the inside. Drizzled with some chocolate syrup and served with blueberries and strawberries, it was a delightful sweet treat without being overly sweet. The hashbrowns came out in like a triangular form. I wasn't expecting these kinds of hashbrowns but they did not disappoint - they were like tater tots and were crispy on the outside. Eggs were perfectly over easy and the bacon was crispy. The only note I would make was that food service was on the slower side. Service was attentive and our water was filled multiple times. Food and drinks felt like it took quite a while. Thankfully we chatted up a storm to pass time and were happy with the quality of food. Brunch was delicious and I would definitely return!

After attending the Great Junk Haul at the fairgrounds, we were starving from working up an appetite shopping....we saw the menu on their website and knew we had to try. This rating really bounces between 3 and 4 stars, would give 3.5 if I could. Here's why: what their website doesn't tell you is that while they offer their brunch menu on Sundays until 2pm (!!!) its the only menu they offer, they don't run their lunch menu in conjuction. We got here after 12:30 so assumed we could get lunch, we didn't want brunch. The chef was kind enough to allow orders off the regular menu, and thank goodness because the food was good. Sadly it all came out at different times to our party of 4, 2 of our table were halfway done eating before the other 2 entrees came. The garlic cheese curds are a must. Small plate so get more than 1 if you have a few people together. The chicken wings are sauced but don't come out sloppy on sauce, its almost dry which is interesting. The French dip was phenomenal but was missing the horseradish sauce or just didnt have a kick, the au jus was a lifesaver. The chipotle chicken sandwich also didnt have a big chipotle flavor. There was no comment on the chilaquilles order so not sure if good or bad. The place was all decked out for Christmas. Ornaments hanging from the ceiling covering almost every inch. This was a fun vibe but downside was also the musty/moldy smell in the booths near the stairway that leads upstairs.

Pretty cool spot. Very popular and if you're a fan of Halloween, then this is a cool place to visit for some food and drink. I really liked the vibe here and the staff was great, but for whatever reason our drinks didn't print, so it took awhile for that to happen in terms of actually getting the drinks. Food portions are HUGE. This is the food portions for giants, so just be aware of that. Overall, pretty good and cool spot.

After spending most of the day in San Ramon with family, we almost missed out on dinner. So we quickly looked at what was still open at this hour and we found Beer Baron Bar & Kitchen. Street parking only. Ambience: Popular and crowded place. Modern decor and festivly decorated for Halloween. One big LCD TV with a sports channel.Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating available and also you can cozy up and grab a seat at the bar. Tonight was DJ Weekend, 10pm - 1am. Two separate multi-user men and women restrooms. Service: Table service was so friendly and attentive! He was helpful in recommending some of his favorites and also asking what we were in the mood for. We took a long time to decide but both of the servers were friendly and made sure we were helped. Food: El Cubana (4/5) with Belgian Duck Fat Fries (4/5): Toasted ciabatta, roasted pork, ham, Monterey jack cheese, pickles, mustard, pepperoncinis. The fries came with your choice of two sauces. I chose the smokey ketchup and the server recommended the chipotle bbq. He also included their house ranch. All the sauces were good! The ciabatta bread was toasted and had that nice crunch. I liked the roasted pork as some other versions use a "pulled pork" style. Loaded Nachos: cheese, guacamole, crema, pinto beans, pickled jalapeño, pico de gallo. Add $6 for chicken adobo (4/5). This easily can feed 2 or more people! The food was great and the ambience was chill. We'll be back! Support your local business!

Came for the Halloween pop up bar. Really cool experience. The decoration and the special glasses were really cool. Posting a couple pictures of those. The drinks in them were decent. The Headless Horseman was the best. We didn't love the Slasherita nor the Chucky Hot Toddy (that's not the actual name - I can't recall it). They were out of one of the two shots, but the Potion #13 was great. Price was decent. About $120 plus tip for 8 drinks, so that's about $15 each. Honestly not bad for a bar in the Bay Area - especially a cool, themed one. Our server was nice, though they were slow on the drinks even though it wasn't super busy. Also really cool that you're supposed to have reservations for the pop up, but they seated us even without them.

Fish & Chips

We celebrated a friend's pre-birthday lunch here, and overall it was a good experience. The place has a chill vibe and is great for a casual get-together. We ordered tacos, calamari, classic breakfast, and chicken and waffles. Most of the food was good and satisfying. The classic breakfast and chicken and waffles were enjoyable, and everything came out nicely. The only downside was the fish and chips--the fish was a bit tough, which was disappointing. Aside from that, everything else was fine, and we still had a good time. It's a solid spot for lunch with friends, and we'd be open to coming back to try other items on the menu.

Great bar food options Monday happy hour 3-5 20 percent off on cocktails and food! We got here at 4:45 and our party was seated within 5 mins and food was brought out in less than ten mins! The servers are super efficient. Ambiance is typical bar like but this is the perfect downtown location with street parking for team happy hours. It could take a few mins to find parking so you might have to circle around a bit! Food - fried, but expected! Taking a star away because the food felt too fried and it could be made healthier Price - team of 10 paid $330 and we all ordered mocktails I'll try the salads and the mains next time

This is one of my favorite places in Pleasanton to grab a beer or an old fashioned! You're able to taste their tap beers before committing to a glass. I felt like I had to add this in my review because I recently went to a taproom that did not offer samples which was my first time experiencing that. SO THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO CHECK OUT THEIR BEERS ON TAP. You can park on the street or at the public parking areas. It's an easy and nice walk from all available public parking areas. We love sitting outside, their tables outside are mostly in shaded areas. The inside of the establishment is dimmed (not too bright). The service is great here, I've been here a few times before my current visit. Our server checked up on us regularly and when she went on break, she informed us that we can ask any of her colleagues serving at tables near us for assistance while she was on break. BELGIAN STYLE DUCK FAT FRIES - Cooked to perfection - Fries had a nice light crisp on the outside but when you bite into the fry, it's so fluffy and delicious! - We chose 2 sauces for our fries: Garlic Aioli & Smokey Ketchup, they paired well with the fries - Fries fried in duck fat is so so gooooood, I'm so happy that this establishment has this on their menu DRINKS (I forgot what beer my boyfriend drank but I do remember my drink)... OLD FASHIONED! OLD FASHIONED - They use Michter's Single Barrel Rye - I love how they use Maple Syrup instead of simple syrup - Not too sweet, it was just right (at least for me) 5 Stars for service, delicious food, beer/whisky selection and indoor/outdoor seating options

Great food and drinks! They still had Christmas decorations up which I loved! The buffalo wings and fried zucchini are super good. It's a nice place for a get together with friends or a date. Definitely recommend! I will hopefully be going back soon.

Super glad I made reservations here during December for the Christmas theme bar etc. for my group because it was super crowded and when we arrived there was a line outside. Drinks were delicious, ambiance was nice, decor was really Christmassy. Staff were kind as well. We didnt get to try the food so maybe next time when we are in town we may be back to do so.

I found this place on Instagram and came out for drinks one night it's somewhat of a hidden door as it is a speakeasy so come prepared with the password. I hope they keep this drink on the menu and I'm excited to see what new craft cocktails they come up with. Overall a fun experience to add to your night out in Downtown Livermore!

The people who run this place keep this place tidy and clean as evidenced by how quickly they cleared my glass and the cleanliness of the bathrooms. I missed the rock n' roll memo, but amazingly talented singers including the KJ himself. The sound system can be pretty loud especially the bass, so ended up keeping my ear plugs in. My only major reservation is how the karaoke queue is managed. Couldn't help but notice the bartenders and some patrons who generously tipped got to sing multiple times in a row. One of the patrons tipped $20 and sang three songs in a row. In comparison, I got one song in in the span of three hours. I kind of expected the place to start clearing out after midnight but ppl stuck around and seemed to be having a good time. If you're not into rock n' roll/metal karaoke, they also have pool, shuffleboard, and darts. I do like the KJ and the patrons here, though in the future, I'll just set the expectation that I'll get one song in and set a curfew for myself.

They happily accommodated. Given our table map, the room was a bit cozy for forty but no problem for the waitstaff. The room itself is private, lots of windows, big buffet table and wine area, so it was all good. Waitstaff and venue were great, but what made the event special was the very high quality of the food: gourmet shrimp appetizer, flatbread, salad, chicken kabob, filet mignon kabob (no exaggeration), and Oasis salmon, plus rice, asparagus, mashed potatoes, chocolate mousse cake for dessert, coffee, tea, sodas. AND... they sent our family home with the leftover food, quite a lot that we've polished off since. Charge was $69 per person, three kids counted as one person for a special pizza, 20% service, tax, poured wines from a reasonably priced wine list. Total bill came to $4,000. So... Five stars. When making the reservation, I specifically noted that this was a birthday celebration and selected covered outdoor patio seating through the reservation system. When we arrived on time, we were told there were no tables available in the area your reservation platform had offered us. To make matters worse, after a staff member asked us which available table we preferred, we pointed one out, only for another waiter to immediately give that exact table away to a smaller party while we stood there as a party of six. That set the tone for the evening. Service throughout the night lacked professionalism and hospitality. One male waiter, approximately in his 40s with slicked-back hair, was consistently rude, dismissive, sharp in tone, and visibly uninterested in helping our table. His behavior affected our entire party and made us feel unwelcome. Management should seriously address his service etiquette and overall conduct toward guests. The most disappointing part was the complete lack of acknowledgment of my wife's birthday. Throughout dinner, we watched several other tables celebrating birthdays receive desserts and recognition from staff, while our table received absolutely nothing despite the restaurant being informed ahead of time. At the end of dinner, we were simply handed the bill with no acknowledgment whatsoever. My wife even turned to me and asked, 'What about my birthday?' and honestly I had no answer for her. The evening felt careless, disorganized, and poorly managed. We did not receive the seating we reserved, experienced rude service, and the special occasion we communicated in advance was completely ignored. Overall, it was a poor dining experience and not somewhere I would currently recommend."
