Saturday brunch with some ladies and this place is pretty much empty. If you love watching plans land and depart while enjoying casual dining, this is the place for you. I hosted Petals and Pour, Girl Gang Tribe event at Elevation LVK and had a wonderful experience. The space was absolutely beautiful and was exactly what we needed for our ladies' gathering. The atmosphere was welcoming and felt perfect for connecting, laughing and enjoying doing bouquets in tea cups. I truly appreciate the owner for allowing us to use the additional room as well which helped tremendously. Thank you to the entire team for your hospitality. I recently visited Elevation LVK yesterday 1/25 after hearing so many great things about it and decided to give it a try with a group of ladies. Initially, I had planned for a larger party of 12 but unfortunately, not everyone was able to show up. We ended up being a smaller group of five, which was still fine. Service The gentleman in the gray sweater who took our orders and brought our drinks was overall very sweet, friendly, and helpful. I don't want to take that away from him, he really tried to make the experience pleasant. However, one thing I would recommend he work on is the strong cigarette smell on him. It was clear he had recently smoked, and no effort was made to mask the odor before returning to work. This was a bit off-putting and impacted the ambiance, but his attitude and service were otherwise great. The young lady at the bar was also very friendly, although we didn't interact with her much. When I first walked in, she greeted me warmly and showed me to our table, which I appreciated. She even took a photo for us, after i asked which was a thoughtful gesture. I have no complaints about her. she was cool and professional. I will also add that the staff needs to be more proactive, I did have to flag them down a few times. The one in the gray sweater and the girl at the bar were looking at something on their phones at the bar, engaging with each other a lot. The guy that brought our food out was cool too. Food Now, let's talk about the food. For weeks, I had been eyeing the green beans on the menu. I had looked at the menu online in advance and thought, "Yes, the green beans I'm definitely getting that." So, when I got there, I ordered them, and they came out looking all nice and appetizing. But I was so disappointed when I took that first bite. I even shared them with a few of the ladies I was with, and they all agreed that they were awful. What made them so disappointing was the fact that the batter had absolutely no flavor. These are deep-fried green beans, so the batter should at least have some seasoning or taste to it, but this one had none. To make things worse, they came with a dip that was just as unappealing, definitely not a good pairing with the green beans. It felt like no thought went into the seasoning or the sauce. To salvage them, I had to ask for salt, as there were no salt or pepper shakers on the table (only utensils). Once I got the salt, I added a generous amount and ended up dipping the green beans in ketchup (which came with my fries) because the provided sauce was simply inedible. As for the fries, they had potential to be good, but they were overcooked to the point of being extremely hard. I couldn't enjoy them at all and ended up leaving more than half of them on the plate because they were too hard to eat. This was frustrating and felt like a waste of money. Whoever the cook was in the kitchen needs to work on not overcooking the fries. After trying the green beans and the fries, I regretted not ordering the LVK burger or the Caesar salad instead. Three of the ladies in my group ordered the LVK burger (with an egg, I believe), and they thoroughly enjoyed it. One of the ladies ordered what I think was the Caesar salad with blackened chicken, and she said it was delicious. Based on their reactions, it seems like those options were much better choices, and I'll definitely keep that in mind if I return. Overall Impression I'm going to give Elevation LVK one more try before forming a final opinion. Perhaps I need to come on a different day, where there might be different servers, or even at a different time of day. Maybe I'll have a better experience with another cook or even a repeat visit with improved consistency. As mentioned, I've heard great things about this restaurant, and it seems to have the potential to be a solid dining spot. The area is nice, and the setup inside and outside looks appealing. I want to see if they can live up to their reputation, so I'm willing to give them one more shot before making a final decision. I'll update this once I do. read more

This is a unique place to go. Recommend it for when your friends come to visit and the kids. The restaurant is at the airport and when you sit outside in the day time offers you the chance to watch the planes land and take off from the runway. We stayed for hours watching the amateur pilots perfect their skills and just talking the afternoon away. My kid was also into it remarking on which planes he liked most. The menu is elevated American food and the food was solid and delicious but not really memorable. The restaurant is divided up between an inside part with a rather large full bar and a large patio that has space for a band. When I went the servers were respectful and accommodating but also inside so if I wanted to initiate service I had to work at it. This was fine for us because we were in lazy afternoon mode. read more

Really really excited to try this place after hearing good reviews. The ambience is spectacular watching the planes was fun, restaurant was clean and the windows were sparkling. Our first clue to leave should have been us waiting for a server/hostess to be seated. After 8 minutes of waiting to be acknowledged a stout bartender came out rudely stating sit wherever... oh and we had to grab menus ourselves. Staff seemed unsure as to what to do or who to help next. People outside eating looked frustrated and coming in to get a server's assistance. I kinda of have the impression this is family owned and new to the family who may be unfamiliar with the food industry and how it works. As far as the food goes well it was just ok. Hamburger was dry, truffle fries had potential but they were cold and the burrito was pretty decent red sauce was pretty delicious. Best part was watching the planes land and take off so if you want to enjoy that and come with low expectations than you will enjoy yourself. Second visit. First time over a year ago was great. Today the floors were sticky, the booth had old & caked food splatters on them, and there were multiple dead flies and dust along the window sills. It just felt very unclean. Not to mention our server who I will not identify was wearing visibly soiled attire. They were nice but it's just not a good representation of the restaurant. We went here to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday and were really let down. The view was great--we enjoyed watching the planes come and go, which made for a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, the restaurant itself was pretty plain and didn't match the vibe we were hoping for. We ordered some cocktails and appetizers to start. The cocktails were good, and both appetizers were fairly good too, though they came out a little cold. They were out of oysters and filet mignon, which was really disappointing since those were two things we were excited to try. My husband got the T-bone steak and, like another reviewer mentioned, it was thin, overcooked, and nothing special. I had the prosciutto chicken with risotto--the chicken was actually pretty good, but the risotto was mediocre. The paper menus looked cheap, and overall everything felt overpriced for what we got. Between the food and the atmosphere inside, it just didn't feel like a special night out. We won't be returning. read more

After flying my friends for a San Francisco Bay Tour, we headed out to Livermore airport for some lunch at Elevation LVK. We parked right in front of the restaurant. Elevation LVK has a chic ambiance and has great views of the airport. We were fairly spent from flying and had a feast of a lunch: Crab Cake, Crispy Calamari, Lamb Burger, Black-Tie Chocolate Cake, and Vanilla Creme Brulee. The calamari was good, right amount of crunch while tender. Same goes with the crab cake. The sauces that came with these appetizers really elevated it up a notch. The Mango Aioli was very good. The lamb burgers came shortly and I could not have expected any other way how a lamb burger should be; Elevation LVK really nailed it. Desserts came after and they were very good as well. Chocolate cake was rich and flavorful and the brulle was succulent and quaint. Flyers outside the area, I really recommend Elevation LVK for your next stop for that $100 hamburger. Their burgers are really up to the moniker and the rest are just as good. Service was great and unlimited views of the tarmac. read more

Place was pretty amazing!! It was a quiet evening when we stopped in last night but the bartender/waiter was attentive, made the best drinks and extremely responsive to our needs. The food was on point across the board, my hubby said whoever was in the kitchen was cooking their anatomy off.. They would've gotten an A from even Chef Ramsay..the scallops were perfect..the prawns were perfectly cooked not rubbery or raw, my risotto was to die for and the oysters were fresh and delicious. The DJ was great - we got his number in case we ever need someone for a party. LVW is our new date night spot...hubby said we shouldn't say anything because we don't want everyone rushing over there..I have to give credit where credit is due. Loved it!! read more

This restaurant has all the potential to be really fun venue. Nice outdoor patio when the weather permits, spacious inside area and the ability to watch airplanes landing and taking off. We have been there several times and have found the food to be inconsistent. Great lamb burger my first time getting it for example and very dry and tasteless the second time. Service needs to be more professional and not random. Servers and a man who might be the manager often don't look clean and well groomed. I think they would benefit from having to wear the same outfit as other nice restaurants do. As I said.... I want them to succeed. They just need to do better to meet the potential of the place. Although the ambience is still near perfect with a fantastic view of the hills and the airport for the aviation enthusiast, the service will fall shot of what you would expect if you plan for a Father's Day visit and a Father's Day ahead of time. Music is too loud for even servers to hear and one really got frustrated and darted off without taking order. Can't believe in this hospitality industry, she would end up, irritated by her own music. I just discovered this restaurant when I flew my plane over the Livermore to eat at the other restaurant. I asked to taxi to the restaurant and the controller asked which one. That was the moment I discovered that there was now a second restaurant at the Livermore airport. For years there was only a single restaurant over at LIvermore. I decided that day that I'd have to return to try Elevation. Not much to say about this place except the food, service, staff, and location are awesome. Oh, and they have the cleanest nicest public bathrooms you'll ever find. At least the men's even had a lighted candle on the counter. Now that's fancy! Us pilot's are always looking for a place to fly to for food. I totally recommend Elevation for this. I even got a pilot's discount. I also saw a lot of non-pilots there. In fact, the day I was there, there was a private party outside with a DJ. Go here and eat whether you fly or drive. You will not regret it. I will be going back. read more

Date night my sweetie. Friday evening. We were excited for live music but it was disappointing (sounded like meh karaoke). Not entirely the restaurants fault, but I wish they removed a table so people had more room to dance. I had several ladies' behinds in my face and touching our table while eating. Food: the appetizers were solid. The dinner left a lot to be desired. I had the T-bone steak and it was gross. Overcooked (medium well vs medium-rare), very thin, full of gristle, and I could barely cut it (edit: definitely not 12 ounces. Rip off). It's served on a wooden board that's too small, with the steak hanging off and dripping greasy sauce everywhere. Green beans were grossly sweet. The potatoes were stellar. My SO had the halibut and it was dry and his plate was lacking in flavor. Thumbs up to the crab cakes and ceviche tho!! Cocktails were very yummy too. Service: not great. Started strong but once the music started it went quickly down hill. Our table was only partially pre-bussed, so we both sat with dirty plates but also I didn't have a fork for when the entrees arrived. Server was nowhere in site, and I wasn't sure I could push past all the people dancing next to our table. My SO is a burly dude so he got up, pushed through, and asked for a fork from the bar + followed up asking about our drinks. We didn't get checked on most of our stay. Inside: it's very loud and echo-y, pretty bare but had interesting low effort lights. I was hoping something nicer to match how expensive the food is, and something that syncs up with the airport. My SO is a pilot, and we've been excited for the terminal to open up. We had briefly visited before the pandemic for lunch, and thought we'd give it another shot. It was really disappointing and super expensive for subpar service and food. I think it'd be good for a cocktail and appy at the bar.
