I just discovered Tequila Bar & Grill, and I'm so glad I did! It's super convenient for lunch or dinner, especially if you're heading to or coming from a movie at Regal, but the convenience is honestly the least of this place's charm. The food was delicious, the drinks were yummy, and the ambiance was so authentically Mexican. The atmosphere immediately made me feel like I'd set foot somewhere special rather than just stopping by for a meal. I absolutely loved it! This is definitely a place I'll be coming back to. MUST TRY!!! I've seen this place a few times and finally decide to stop by, so glad I did. Staff are super friendly, quick service, constant check ins! I can't stress the service here enough, it's amazing. Now to the good stuff! Started off with complimentary chips and salsa which I paired with a michelada! Not sure if I was just stressed from work but be michelada was AMAZING! Appetizer was some cooked oysters, 2 Parmesan and 2 mango habanero. The mango habanero were ok but the Parmesan ones were elite!!! Insane flavor. I ordered the molcajete traditional which came with steak, chicken, chorizo, and shrimp. It was so good! Came in a steaming molcajete with tortillas. We also ordered ceviche de pescado which was missing some lemon. That was fixed quickly when we asked for some limes. Im extremely pleased with this place. Clean all around from the bar, to the dining area, to the bathrooms. Good lighting and tv's at the bar if you want to come watch a game. This restaurant has the potential to be better than what it is, and probably be the best in the area. However, they fall short in a few areas. I came here on a Sunday morning, and it wasn't too crowded. It was probably around 30% capacity. It didn't take any time to be seated and given some water, but it took a while for a server/waiter to come and take my order. After placing my order, I waited about 25 minutes before receiving food and about 10-15 minutes waiting for the drinks we ordered. Prior to receiving the food, I received about 3 plates that weren't mine, and the staff didn't seem like they knew who ordered the plates. Looking around, I noticed several of the staff was doing this and delivering food to the wrong tables. I tried a combo plate that had a chicken enchilada and a shredded chicken tamale. The beans and rice felt like the highlight of the plate. The enchilada was decent, but the tamale tasted way too dry. I don't think I'll come back unless I am in the area to watch a movie, but even then, I might be better off having food in the theater. read more

We came here for dinner with a group of four and had a really nice experience. We started with a few drinks, and I ordered two different margaritas. They were good, although I do think they could have been a little stronger. The service was great and very attentive throughout the evening. The restaurant is pretty spacious, which makes it comfortable for groups. The food is more Mexican-American than traditional authentic Mexican, but everything we ordered was pretty good. We order the molcajete, Baja tacos, mixed plate, and the mole enchiladas. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Overall, the food was good, the service was excellent, and I would definitely come back. I also noticed they have a pretty good happy hour menu, which is something we really enjoy, so I'd like to come back and try that next time. read more

For a Saturday afternoon it wasn't too busy, you can tell their locals were there enjoy the large tv screens. We sat at the bar and were immediately helped by the bartender. We ordered spicy margaritas and that came with complementary chips and salsa. The spicy margaritas were refreshing and had just the right amount of spice. Tequila Bar & Grill opened about a year ago so it is relatively new. This is an upscale Mexican restaurant. Chips are nicely crunchy and have enough thickness to easily add guacamole or their salsas. They can addicting. The Ahi Tacos appetizer is fantastic. As an appetizer, each tostada (two per order) is good for a few bites. We should have purchased two orders. We had the enchiladas, sorry no picture. Menu has several protein options and several sauces. Service was friendly and helpful. They have about seven large flatscreen video surfaces. This should be a great atmosphere of events like Super Bowl where you can see screens throughout the restaurant. Not surprising they can have nice size parties. We will be back. read more

There's lots of parking for your convenience when you walk in you're seated by the host, we chose the outside seating area since it was a very warm day. We enjoyed the open airy ambience TVs we were mounted turned on to the sports channels. Service was fantastic. Our waiter was very professional and attentive. we happen to be there during happy hour so we ordered a couple of things from the happy hour menu We starting with the Cadillac margarita with Don Julio Anejo which was top-notch we will definitely will come back for the cocktails also ordered the guacamole appetizer which tasted freshly made our entrées were the combination fajita with flour, tortilla rice and beans, beef, chicken, and shrimp. The beef could use a little bit more seasoning otherwise cooked to perfection the shrimp and the chicken was tender and juicy. My dining partner ordered a crispy beef taco with a chicken tamale. The chicken to masa ratio was perfect chicken was nice and juicy again the beef was tender, but could use just slight more seasoning overall the food was good. We were greeted immediately and didn't have to wait to be sat. We had a dog with us and they were extremely accommodating, letting us choose whether to sit inside or outside. Chips and salsa were delivered quickly. The menu had so many options so we asked Betty (our waher favorites and, she had some great choices. We came here around 4PM and it's pretty quiet. Came here on a Saturday afternoon. There was no wait and we were seated right away. The decor is pretty. And I like the layout of the restaurant. Staff was friendly. And the menu had a good amount of choices. At the suggestion of our waitress I got a spicy pineapple margarita. It was VERY tasty. Not strong at all - but flavorful. For appetizer, we got shrimp ceviche. Btw .. they have so many ceviche choices!! Me and my companion both ordered the seafood enchiladas. They were tasty. My only beef was they put the rice on one side of the enchiladas and beans on the other side. Like what?! There's enough division in this society. But now even rice is separated from beans?! Ok ok... Well this sucks to have to write this. Came in on a Thursday at 330pm. There were four total customers, FOUR. When I walked in the whole restaurant smelled like a bathroom. So I asked to sit outside. They showed me the outside area and I requested that a table be moved to accommodate for my young children and be at least partially in the shade. The woman who led me outside, said she doesn't have staff to help me move the table. So I said can I move the table she said sure but you can't move it here and pointed to the shaded part of the patio that didn't have tables. They had high top tables in the shade but can you imagine the liability if my child were to fall and that's all you could offer me? I said well let me ask my husband and as I was about to she said if this doesn't work you can go somewhere else. So of course we left. There are so many issues with this interaction. 1. A newer business 2. The lack of care about the situation. 3. The sheer unwillingness to help. I'm fully capable of moving tables but not when you are unwilling to even help problem solve. 4. Isn't the restaurant business considered within the hospitality industry? I guess not here 5. Utterly disappointed by the woman who thought it would be okay to tell customers to leave and go elsewhere. 6. I did go back and asked to speak to a manager and shared how unprofessional it was and hope someone can communicate with her about that. And how disappointed I am in the service and sheer lack of care. Shame on you tequila bar and grill. It is a damn shame that this was my experience. Hopefully it is not yours. We found out about this place through Ocean Oyster Bar & Grill in Union City, which we like. Turns out it's under the same ownership, so we decided to give this place a try. Nice spot! Spacious, clean, and located in the center of the Dublin Regal Hacienda plaza. We started with a dozen raw oysters, and an order of cooked ones, 1 of each of the 4 flavors - Parmesan, Mango Habanero, Diabla, and Sriracha Bourbon. All but the Parmesan are spicy, so if you like spice, you will enjoy these. Still hungry, we also ordered a couple of shrimp tacos, and the shrimp ceviche. Then went with a second order of the cooked oysters. Do you see a pattern here? They have an extensive menu, something for every taste, and I appreciate that they have meat-free options as well. Service was very good and the friendly staff checked in on us regularly. The movie theater is in the same plaza, so this is a nice place to hang out before or after a movie. So I had never been here but hubby and I were going to a movie and decided to watch here. Even though it was a Friday night and they were a little crowded, the wait for a table was only about 15 minutes. Very good turnover time for a small restaurant. It is a little loud but you can still hear conversations of your table. I was watching the bartenders make the drinks but they also have sports on 3 or 4 TVs if that is your thing. They start you off with some chips, salsa and water. I had 3 shredded chicken traditional "street" tacos. Hubby had a burrito with al pastor. Both were delicious. We rarely drink alcohol but there was a vast menu of drinks to choose from. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in Dublin waiting for a movie or just want to grab something good to eat! read more

Wait time wasn't bad for a Friday night, place was pretty busy so expected to wait a good long time. Wait was less than 15 minutes which turned out great for us. Service was initially a little slow but once our waiter made it to us, food and drinks came pretty quick. My wife really enjoyed the tacos. The chicken was really good. The Pastor burrito was fantastic. The pork had a light crust that made it so much better than expected. The green sauce had a good amount of lime juice in it that added a little unexpected sweetness. Adrian was by far the best! Polite, attentive, and he knows his stuff! the drinks aren't overwhelming, and yes, you can actually taste the alcohol lol. I went for my birthday on Friday night with my bestie, and he made us feel so welcomed. We came back Saturday with a party of ten, and once again our drinks were excellent! The food here is so authentic. I always get the shrimp tacos -- that sauce is SO good. Everyone else loved the enchiladas, tamales, steaks, and the chorizo & eggs. Everything was yummy! Food at Tequila Bar and Grill was mediocre overall. They seemed busy and I think our waitress may have been new so I will give her grace. I ordered the fajita combo nachos which were just okay and my daughter had the quesabirria tacos which were not great but were edible. The most unusual part was the horchata. It tasted like cherry Coke or had some kind of cherry flavoring which was very odd. My daughter tried it first and could not drink it and even I struggled with it after paying for it. I also asked the staff what they put in it since I have seen places add flavors like strawberry, but they said it was normal horchata ingredients, which made the taste even more confusing. This was our first dine in visit although we have done drive thru before and overall I do not think I will be back. The food is pricey for the quality. Service was understandable given how busy they were. Silverware and drinks took a while but I understand how hectic it can be so I will leave it at that. read more

Bigger than it looks from the outside. It was fairly busy on a Friday afternoon at the bar and assorted tables. We were greeted and seated right away and informed that it was happy hour. We ordered prosecco and a mojito, guacamole, calamari, two orders of taquitos. The mint in the mojito was mostly used as a garnish so we crushed it into the drink at the table for better flavor. The calamari was great. The guacamole was fresh but just ok and a pretty small serving. Had we known the taquitos also came with guacamole we wouldn't have ordered it. The taquitos were giant sized and full of chicken with an abnormal ratio of chicken to crispy shell in each bite. We couldn't finish them, it was just too much chicken. read more
