A properly made Caesar Salad that you can still taste the anchovies in the dressing. Light and airy shell with a tasty ahi mix insert. Could very well be the best fish taco I've had - it's not your traditional "here's some tuna and cabbage in a corn tortilla" taco and that's a great thing. It's unique and amazing. Our friends split a pizza and salad and raved about how perfect the pizza was. They wanted a crispy crust and got what they wanted. My wife ordered the stuffed mushroom appetizer in her crafty way to embellish her beef hamburger with bacon. She asked medium rare. She got medium rare. Very enjoyable. Our service was beyond great. It wasn't super busy and often the staff gets distracted when it's not busy - in this case our service was perfect. Da Boccery ambiance is obviously linked to all the entertainment that's there but the tables are nicely separated from the courts and simulators, and even during bocce or the simulator, there are comfortable couches and tables if you want to eat there - we did drinks there, then ate in the more "restaurant" area of the place. The place is located in a somewhat random boujee plaza by the Livermore wineries and a gas station. The place is super spacious with plenty of room inside and outside to just chill / drink or play games! There was a work event happening, some dates, and kids running around -- really family friendly and seems to cater to all ages. The concept of this place is great for hosting gatherings or large groups. There's a mini arcade, golf simulation area with other games to play like soccer, and virtual axe throwing for a relatively low price of $13 per person! Would definitely come back again for how affordable it was. We also had some technical issues and the manager or owner happily let us stay an extra 15 minutes because of that delay...like #blessed As for the food, it was yummy but really pricey from $25-$30 minimum. The main highlight was my friend's chili cheese nachos where the chips stayed crispy the whole time and the parm chicken sandwich. Delicious flavors and well seasoned. So I've been here 2 times before over the past year and the food and general vibe/ambiance been great. But the REASON I'm writing this review today is to call out the amazing service I got from the staff this last week. I had a friend visiting in town this week and it's been a hard year for both of us in a lot of different ways. So I wanted to treat her for her birthday and also take her out for some surprise axe throwing so we could both blow off some steam. Initially I had some problems with the website so I had to physically come into book but the girl at the front, I don't remember her name but she wore glasses, was incredibly kind and walked me through the whole process which was great because the way I was trying to do it would've been incorrect. Then when we got to the restaurant for our reservation on Tuesday at 8pm our server JJ and axe supervisor Ethan were the best hosts/waiters we could've ever asked for. The hostess with the glasses was there too as where their coworkers Jacob and another fellow whose name I don't remember but I will his and the girls name here add once I find out because they all deserve to recognized by name for their amazing service. When I tell you they made our experience above and beyond I cannot describe how underwhelming that phrase is for how well they treated me and my friend. They made us feel welcome, they were incredibly kind, and they made our night 10 times better than what it was. They also did something incredibly nice for us at the end of the evening that was incredibly touching for both me and my friend. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. However much these folks are getting paid they deserve more and when people say that "the staff makes the business" this is what they're talking about. Will be coming back here as often as I can and recommending it to everyone I know. read more

I was looking for a fun activity to do while on winter break and came across Da Boccery. I came here years ago when it was Camp Da Bocce. The set up is similar to when I came before. They have an arcade area, bar area, plenty of seating for dining and bocce ball courts inside and their outside area that's covered.There's an axe throwing enclosed area, and a shuffle board court that's outside. There is a month long deal, half off all activities till January 31, 2025. (BOTCHOUT2025) The gentleman that checked us in and showed us our bocce court was friendly and helpful. He gave us a quick tutorial of the game, and there's a rules sheet for our convenience for reference. I hadn't played in years so the instruction was well needed. The bocce court is outside but covered overhead. If you enjoy bocce ball this is the perfect time to come out since their activities are half off this month(January 2025). read more

My husband explained to him that we closed it with Chris but he insisted his system was different and that we paid for the virtual games and not our meals and drinks. He stood corrected and although he apologized, it could have easily been avoided if he would have actually paid attention to us. 4. As first time guest, we were experiencing technical difficulties with the virtual football game so I went to speak with an employee. I just so happened to make eye contact with the manager, as I attempted to speak to him he inadvertently and swiftly looked away. It wasn't until I kind of waived my hand to get his attention that he came over. I explained the issue and even attempted to show him the recording of the issue. He was so dismissive though, stating "well it looks like it's on target" when CLEARLY it wasn't. Instead he offered us a refund. He could have offered a better explanation of what to do to make contact or even offer a different booth. It felt like we weren't welcome there. Chris informed us of some of the local events and events that Da Boccery hosted and we've decided to give the spot one more time for trivia night.
