PROS: 1. Chris was an absolute pleasure! I hope he continues being such a sweetheart. 2. Chris made the remainder of our time there much more enjoyable. If we could have tipped only him, we definitely would have. 3. The game area was actually pretty darn nice. The variety of games was nice enough for all three of us to enjoy. 4. The food and drinks were average, nothing to brag about. 5. My review would have been 5 stars if it was based solely on our experience with Chris alone. CONS: 1. The first 40 minutes we were there our server didn't tend to us voluntarily. We had to ask him to assist us twice. 2. The second time we tried to get his attention, he was so engulfed with his coworker who was playing golf next to us that he didn't hear or see my husband the four times we waved and said his name. 3. We paid our bill with Chris in full. As we walked out our original waiter comes outside stating we didn't close out our bill with him. My husband explained to him that we closed it with Chris but he insisted his system was different and that we paid for the virtual games and not our meals and drinks. He stood corrected and although he apologized, it could have easily been avoided if he would have actually paid attention to us. 4. As first time guest, we were experiencing technical difficulties with the virtual football game so I went to speak with an employee. I just so happened to make eye contact with the manager, as I attempted to speak to him he inadvertently and swiftly looked away. It wasn't until I kind of waived my hand to get his attention that he came over. I explained the issue and even attempted to show him the recording of the issue. He was so dismissive though, stating "well it looks like it's on target" when CLEARLY it wasn't. Instead he offered us a refund. He could have offered a better explanation of what to do to make contact or even offer a different booth. It felt like we weren't welcome there. Chris informed us of some of the local events and events that Da Boccery hosted and we've decided to give the spot one more time for trivia night. So I've been here 2 times before over the past year and the food and general vibe/ambiance been great. But the REASON I'm writing this review today is to call out the amazing service I got from the staff this last week. I had a friend visiting in town this week and it's been a hard year for both of us in a lot of different ways. So I wanted to treat her for her birthday and also take her out for some surprise axe throwing so we could both blow off some steam. Initially I had some problems with the website so I had to physically come into book but the girl at the front, I don't remember her name but she wore glasses, was incredibly kind and walked me through the whole process which was great because the way I was trying to do it would've been incorrect. Then when we got to the restaurant for our reservation on Tuesday at 8pm our server JJ and axe supervisor Ethan were the best hosts/waiters we could've ever asked for. The hostess with the glasses was there too as where their coworkers Jacob and another fellow whose name I don't remember but I will his and the girls name here add once I find out because they all deserve to recognized by name for their amazing service. When I tell you they made our experience above and beyond I cannot describe how underwhelming that phrase is for how well they treated me and my friend. They made us feel welcome, they were incredibly kind, and they made our night 10 times better than what it was. They also did something incredibly nice for us at the end of the evening that was incredibly touching for both me and my friend. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. However much these folks are getting paid they deserve more and when people say that "the staff makes the business" this is what they're talking about. Will be coming back here as often as I can and recommending it to everyone I know. read more

Arrived and it was empty. It was Halloween so people probably have already left to take kids out. Upon arrival, didn't feel very welcome by a staff member who was on site. We are a different race. Not sure if that was it - but then a few of our other friend arrived (Caucasian) and they were treated differently so yeah, it was our skin color. We ended up staying to chill with them-kids played at arcade. We ordered food with a very welcoming female staff member. She was very nice. Food was good. Spicy bugolgi was good. Came here for a work event and had a blast! We got greeted right away & our table was all set up and ready to go for our reservations. Our waitress was Katherine & she was absolutely amazing! The menu has a great selection. I went with the classic burger & fries and it was delicious! Everyone else got salads and a few other for sandwiches but each dish came out quickly and looked delish! No one had one bad thing to say. I'd definitely try the wedge salad next with chicken on the side. We finished eating and went over to play a game of bocce ball! It was so much fun! I've never played and didn't think I'd enjoy it at first but after the first game I was hooked and wanted to keep playing. This place is so cute for an occasion. Had a reservation for Golf with friends on a saturday evening and the place is very entertaining for kids and adults. We also had a reservation for dinner after playing golf. We ordered Carne Asada Nachos while playing, we loved it so much(not too greasy, not too heavy in our tummy). While dinner me and my friends ordered different food and we were very surprised and amazed the big serving and how scrumptious it was(Pasta Primavera, Chicken Pesto Pasta, Hawaiian Burger, Have a Cow Burger, Crème Brûlée Cheesecake & Banana Split). We came to Da Boccery to axe throw on July 1st. This place has a nice setup. They have bocce courts inside, and outside, and axe throwing inside & outside too. They have a full bar, and a food menu too. The axe throwing & bocce courts you can rent out by the hour. You call to set up the reservation and pay a small deposit to reserve your spot that night. We came here for a work-related team event. There were probably about 80-90 of us, and we rented the entire outdoor area. I really enjoyed the outside. There are sofa seating areas, some tall tables, and regular dining tables. In terms of games, there's bocce ball, shuffle board, and foot pool. We had the taco buffet, and it wasn't bad. There's corn and flour street size tortillas, and 3 types of fillings: Chicken (4/5), Beef Bulgogi (5/5), and Veggie (4/5). We also had tortilla chips and salsas. I didn't spend any time at the indoor area, but I saw there were more bocce ball courts and an arcade. There's also lots of tables and a bar. It was also nicely air-conditioned. Overall, this is a nice choice for a group event. Since my visit was paid for by my company, I can't say if it's a good value or not. I came here with a group of 10-12 colleagues which happened to fall on Trivia Night. We sat the bar area. Service was so friendly from the staff that interacted with us. As some of my colleagues trickled in later, the staff was observant and prompt to come over and take their drink order. Additionally, the staff were all super friendly in taking all of our orders, getting anything else we needed. Their menu had so many yummy options. I opted for their 3's a company option where you could mix & match items. I chose the Bulgogi taco, Fish taco, and wagyu beef slider. They were all pretty good but the star for me was the bulgogi. So much flavor! my colleague agreed. I ended up ordering ALL bulgogi tacos to-go for hubby's lunch the next day. I knew he'd like them too. We hosted our company holiday party at Da Boccery, and it could not have gone better. From start to finish, the entire evening was seamless, festive, and genuinely enjoyable for our whole group. The outdoor event space was beautifully decorated with holiday décor, which really set the tone for the night, we didn't have to bring or set up a single decoration ourselves. Even though the event was outdoors, the overhead heaters worked incredibly well and kept everyone comfortable the entire time. The activities were a huge hit! Our team had an amazing time rotating between the bocce courts, shuffleboards, and the axe-throwing lanes. Everything was well-maintained, and it added the perfect balance of fun without feeling forced. The food exceeded our expectations. There was a great variety, the steak was especially delicious, and several people commented on how much they enjoyed the entire spread. A small but thoughtful detail we loved was that, at the end of the night, the staff brought out take-home containers so guests could bring leftovers home. Such a considerate touch that everyone appreciated! We also have to give a special shout-out to the staff who made the night exceptional. Catherine and Erin, our servers, were absolutely fantastic, attentive, friendly, and always checking in with our group. Anytime someone wanted or needed something, they were on it immediately. I'd go here for bocce ball, but I wouldn't consider axe throwing a very good deal here. We had a large group come in and the fees are per person per hour, but only 2 people can throw axes at a time (which is totally a reasonable ask considering safety!). We ended up paying over $300 for one hour of play, but each person probably only got to throw for 10-15 minutes. I'd go somewhere else where more people can participate simultaneously. I think the safety rules are perfectly fine, but I think it should be charged as per station like the other games, considering most people were sitting and watching most of the time but still incurred equal cost. I was overall disappointed because people always seem to be excited about the axe throwing here. 5 stars for service however, as the servers were super kind and helpful as we transitioned from axe throwing to a game of bocce ball. We probably used like 4 tables throughout the afternoon and they would always get us fresh small plates for sharing and fresh waters. read more

A good place for group gatherings but service has trouble keeping up with larger parties. They claim they are unable to split bills more than 2 ways per party as well. We had a large group of about 25 people and it should've been 8 checks.It was a horrible experience paying at the end. Wagyu sliders were closer to sloppy joes. The texture and taste was on par with microwave prepared food. When we sent 2 orders back we were still charged for it. Bulgogi tacos were a bit dry and too salty. I was here for a family birthday gathering as my 1st visit. We rented out one of the outdoor areas for bocce ball. We had the table with the lane and two high tables behind it. Food was set up along the window wall with the taco party kit from their menu. It consisted of two different meats (shrimp and carne), grilled veggies, mini street sized tortillas, guacamole, cilantro, onions, and cheese. We also had appetizers of chips and two different kinds of salsa (pica de gallo and a chipotle salsa I think it may have been). For drinks, we had menus where you could order whatever you wanted off there - we ordered a couple pitchers of beer to share while others may have gotten wine. The food package we had came with two beverages - I forgot what they were as I never had them (most likely juice or tea), but anything outside of that was extra. The food was not bad at all - would recommend those to try if they planned on going here to try their food and drinks while playing games before or after. This place is tucked in the back of a shared parking lot. There is a Chevron gas station close by too. Lots of parking during the time we were there - 11am I think. The whole place once you walk inside is like a big indoor gaming center. It's bright and spacious. They had lanes of things on the left, arcade games on the right and a bar. The restrooms are on the right as soon as you walk in through the front doors. Outside where we were, they also had lots of areas where they have reserved parties most likely as well as some smaller areas for guests to sit. There are TVs outside where you can watch sports or I'm sure whatever you want if you ask. The outdoor areas are covered, but not totally covered from the outside - the air and sun as well as birds can still get in. Of course, as others may know, they have other games you could sign up to rent / play such as ax throwing, shuffleboard, etc. The staff who waited on our group was attentive. Most of the employees here appeared to look young, but they were all very professional. I wouldn't mind coming back out this way to do some ax throwing, haha. A nice entertainment venue with not only bocce ball, as the name refers, but also has golf simulator, ax throwing and lots of arcade games and tvs for sports games. Looks like a fun place for birthdays and get togethers. We had lunch on a Saturday around noon. It wasn't too crowded and service was good. I ordered the Ahi tuna salad, which was double the size I expected and was delicious. However my friend ordered the pepperoni pizza and said it takes ok, kind of "cardboard" crust. They have bocce inside and outside and tons of seating. The outdoor area is beautiful and very comfortable. Food was also tasty. The carne asada nachos were very good and use real cheese, which I prefer. They were loaded well with enough toppings. Most of our party ordered the peloton for an entree. I added chicken and it was very good! I just wish it had a little less farro and more greens, but otherwise, it was perfectly dressed and flavorful and the chicken was cooked perfectly. However, two members of our group ordered burgers and said they were a little overcooked. Service started out poor, but got better as our time went on. We used to frequent this place a year ago. We were so impressed with the food, watching sports on the various TVs, activity options and arcade games - that we were there at least once if not more during the week. We encouraged family and friends to check it out. Service was not always on point but everything else outweighed the spotty service. Maybe towards the end of 2023 or the start of 2024 we noticed that the experience was declining. The games changed to card readers, became more expensive and were not well maintained ( we even let management know). Food was still solid but service remained spotty especially in the high top area where you would need to flag someone down for service even when they were not busy. We celebrated our son's birthday there and food was still good, bocce ball was so much fun but again service was inconsistent and it took multiple requests to have them bring out a birthday brownie for him. The service issues continued to persist and as a result we did not visit as frequently anymore. We visited a couple months ago and service again was poor but surprisingly the food was actually terrible too! We had ordered a pizza which was so undercooked we had to send it back and the overall quality was sub par. While they were good about preparing a new one we left feeling disappointed. Sadly today is our last visit. We were happy to see a new brunch menu and sat in the high top area. We waited for at least 30 minutes and no one came to check in or take our order (though when we first sat down someone tried to give us someone else's order). The bartender finally came by and when we explained no one had come by - he explained he just started his shift. No dude - you were behind the bar the entire team we've been here. The thing is, the place was dead and other servers were chatting at the host station or milling around not doing much. There is zero excuse for not checking on guests and we were not the only ones. At this point, it wasn't worth staying no matter how hungry we were. Management needs to do better. It is sad how in just a year's time this place has deteriorated in food, service and ambiance. read more

Came here for a family celebration. It was so much fun to play bocce ball together and relax with a nice chilled drink and appetizers. After bocce ball we went inside for our dinner reservation. It was a bit hot so I agree with other reviewers that some fans would have been appreciated. The time playing bocce ball goes by really fast and we were caught off guard that our time was up and someone is using the lane right after us. So if you want to play more than one hour I recommend reserving it ahead of time, as we wouldn't have been able to extend it even if we wanted to. The layout of the outside is really pretty with different game stations consisting of: Bocce ball lanes Axe throwing Kick ball Shuffle board Cornhole There was also a sectioned off area where a large balloon installation was being put up for about a 50 person private event. It's confusing as to the cost of how much each thing is to play as the breakdown of costs isn't really visible anywhere in the facility. I wasn't the host which is why I didn't know the cost breakdown but it would have been nice to read the pricing somewhere. There was a surprisingly strong breeze for how hot it was and how little to no breeze there was outside, and so I'm led to believe the outside area layout is like a wind tunnel. The menus were flying everywhere, lost a drink attempting to save one. Perhaps some heavier menus because it was too hot outside to be chasing around our flying menus with their "menu weight" lol. It was nice to relax inside for our dinner and the air conditioning was clutch. I got the $13.99 salad and when it first arrived I was thinking wow it's small! But it ended up being deceptively filling! It had quinoa which also helped to fill me up and I liked the combination of beets, goat cheese, mandarins, and balsamic with an arugula mix. I really liked all the employees here! Everyone was so friendly and attentive! There was a mix of some seasoned staff and a lot of younger adults just starting their work careers. I can't tell you how many times they opened the door for me or checked on our table! Great job folks :)! It is very loud here so just be forewarned. Our dinner table was right next to a shuffleboard court and I had the seat where my back was to the court, so there was cheering and shouting right behind me which was suuuper loud at times. I came in with a large party without a reservation and even though the restaurant was packed we were accommodated really quickly. The manager, Mitchell was so attentive and professional.
