    The rizz

There's a large parking lot right across the street from Danville brewing which is really convenient. I walked in and was promptly greeted by the hostess who took myself and my friend to seating. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Rizz drink and it came out quick and tasted good. I'd say the prices are average to other places, which unfortunately means it's is about $19-23 for a sandwich/burger meal. I split a Reuben with my friend and it was massive and filling for two people. I think Danville brewing is a good place to go for casual dining and delicious food. They do a have a happy hour but unfortunately I didn't get to try it because of the day I went.

Another dinner here with friends while in town for business. This place is great, good decor, good food, good service - just a bit loud with all the happy people! We were seated right away (four of us) and our server Jeff quickly brought us water and took some drink orders. We ordered some appetizers and some entrees as well. These included a bacon grilled cheese (hold the bacon!) with a bowl of cheddar broccoli soup, a salmon sandwich, a paleo bowl, Ahi nachos, an Ahi Tuna burger (garlic fires for a side), a buttermilk fried chicken, house made pretzel bites, and Shishito peppers - two orders, please! The food was delivered in a timely manner, and with the apps first and hot. The Shishito peppers are delicious and were ginormous this time! They came with a cherry pepper aioli that had a kick to it! The pretzel rolls, soft and not too chewy, were well salted and did great with the cheese (DBC beer cheese) dipping sauce. Yummy. The Ahi nachos (Ahi poke, pico de gallo, avocado cream, horseradish cream, taro chips) were different. The taro chips were not everyone's favorite, but the overall taste and texture of the dish was great. For the mains, the burger was very good, as well as the salmon sandwich. The grilled cheese was good, with tasty cheeses (gouda, cheddar, habanero jack - had a slight heat to it!) and crispy grilled sourdough bread. The soup was thick and tasty, and very hot, like I like it. The paleo bowl (with choice of chicken breast, beef or turkey patty 18 choice of hanger steak ,salmon, ahi, or Beyond patty 20 served with farmer's seasonal vegetables) was well constructed and full. Overall, the food was great, and the service very good, and we shall return.

The ambiance is great, very inviting, very friendly staff. However, I wasn't very impressed with my food. The chicken sandwich was extremely spicy. I don't think I've ever had a spicy sandwich that hot, and I tend to like spice. However the waiter was very good about returning my plate and fixing my order. They have great drinks & a full bar. Dogs are also allowed outside!

Stopped by on a Friday night for some beers and snacks before dinner. The place is large with a ton of seating inside and out. We sat outside because we had the dogs with us. The service was good minus the issue of them never turning the heater in for us after we asked them multiple times as it was freezing outdoors. They have an extensive beer menu to choose from: we opted to make a flight and also share some fries and pretzel bites. Everything came out super quick. The pretzel bites were delicious. They were pillowy soft and warm. The garlic fries were crispy and so garlicky good. All of the beers we tried were good. I loved Why cant we be fiends. So good!

Pretty laid back place to have a drink outside on a lazy afternoon. Staff was great - frequently checked up on us to see if we needed anything. Happy hour on Mon - Fri starting at 3pm. The beers were fantastic and so were the nachos (tacos were a bit lackluster but still okay). The outdoor seating was dog friendly as well as a lot of people bring their pups. Overall, a good place to have a chat while sipping on a beer or two.

BBQ wings. They fall right off the bone
    Audriana N.

Love the beer selection! But to be honest, I come for the wings! They're so crispy, fall right off the bone. I love getting half bbq and buffalo wings. I almost wish they would do a mixture of the two, because my favorite thing to do is take a bite of each! Service can be hit or miss, for most of the meal our waiter was MIA. We were only offered 1 refill throughout out meal and had to wait a while to find out waiter for the check.

Danville brewing is one of our go-to places when we want good food, friendly servers, relaxed vibe, clean, and even outdoor seating. From the tables you can see the brewing tanks albeit we have never been there where we saw staff making the brews. The appetizers and "burgers" are all good. We do t eat much beef but do like "burgers" that have fish or other ingredients. The restaurant is clean and nicely organized You can come here as a group if needed. We strongly recommend you give them a try.

    IPA flight

Second visit here - had been looking forward to it and it didn't disappoint but was not quite as good as my previous visit - the beer was the saving grace! Out server was nice but I think she was a little overwhelmed with too many tables - my husband had wanted to order another drink and some wings but it took so long for anyone to come to our table, we were cold and had stacked plates so did not want to wait anymore - she was however super nice to realize we were on the cusp of happy hour and get our appetizer orders in. The IPA flight was delicious- they make some fantastic beers and it is a very good slight with 6 generous pours!! We enjoyed the Shishito peppers which were fantastic , crispy Brussels sprouts - also good and the poke nachos - these badly needed some heat and a tad more seasoning and I not sure yucca chips work as though they taste great, half of them were just too soggy to enjoy! Great beers and atmosphere, some good bites and some were a miss but would still absolutely return!

    Loco Moco
    Bobby M.

Had lunch here after a hard hike up Mount Diablo. We both had the Loco Moco - grilled hamburger patty over rice, topped with mushroom gravy, scallops & a sunny side up egg. Delicious! I lived in Hawaii for 35 years and this Loco Moco was as good as any I had there. A taste of home! ;) The service was attentive & the ambience was casual & clean.

"In Tasty We Trust", West Coast IPA collaboration brew, Danville Brewery and Wonderous Brewery.

Raving Review: "In Tasty We Trust" West Coast IPA "In Tasty We Trust" is a knockout collaboration that lives up to its name--an inspired West Coast IPA brewed by the brilliant teams at Danville Brewing Co. and Wondrous Brewing Company. From the first pour to the final sip, this beer absolutely delivers. Crisp, clean, and confidently hop-forward, it showcases a beautifully layered hop bill of Krush, Riwaka, and Mosaic. The aroma pops with bright citrus, and the palate follows through with vibrant grapefruit undertones that feel fresh--not pithy--balanced by just the right touch of malt backbone. It's that classic West Coast snap, refined and modern, with bitterness that's assertive yet smooth. What really shines is the balance. The hops sing without shouting, the malt supports without weighing things down, and the finish is dry and refreshing--inviting you back for another sip before you've even set the glass down. It's delicious, dangerously drinkable, and clearly crafted with intention and skill. If you're a fan of West Coast IPAs done right--bold, bright, and impeccably balanced--In Tasty We Trust isn't just a beer, it's a statement. Cheers to collaboration done very right

Came here on a whim at around 130 on a weekday. there was only one other group at a table and a few patrons at the bar. Our waiter was friendly and checked on us casually during our lunch. There was a kids menu so this would be great for families and wife enough for strollers! The place also has oddly shared bathrooms down a back hall but they were clean and well kept. The food was amazing! We literally ate all the scraps off the plates. The ingredients are top notch and you can tell the food is elevated pub goods. The beer tasting menu looked interesting with some beer flavors that seemed seasonal and artisanal. They allow you a taste before purchase so that was a plus. I will definitely come back here with family and try more menu items. Glad i found a good gastropub in the area!

I hate it. It's frustrating and kind of ruined the experience for me. It's not a treat to go out if I have to struggle with the menu on a tiny device I have a hard time seeing. I also wanted to pay cash.. I mean, why can't someone just come say hello and welcome do you have questions or need assistance? I did arrive a little after the other 5 in my party and did get help eventually when a server brought out some of their drinks and food. I was then offered explanations on wines and could place an order to pay cash at the end, but ultimately had to have a friend order me another drink and pay her while she ordered from the code. I still tipped 20% but don't understand this.. It's like walking into TacoBell and having to order for myself. At least I don't have to tip there. They walk to the counter with my food or in restaurant to my table... how is this different? It's not special and I had to do all of the grunt work searching the menu instead of being able to ask my server, "Do you have any vegetarian appetizers" or "What are your white wines" ... boom one and done.. I had to spend 15 min scrolling my phone for what could be done in 2 min. Though I appreciated the order for cash paying, nobody ever checked to see if our food was okay or if we needed anything else. I wanted to order another drink for 20 min before asking a friend to order another. Still 3 stars because the minimal service we had was very friendly, the food with pretty much every appetizer on the menu was fantastic, and while I drink wine, which was good, the beers my friends tasted were very much enjoyed. It just wasn't super service oriented which was frustrating for me in my upper 50's, please wait on me if I come to your restaurant.

What started as simple random dinners turned into my and my husband's standing Friday night tradition at the bar with Z - and that's entirely because of the people at Revel. First things first, the food is consistently delicious. The service is unmatched. But what makes this place extraordinary is that the service doesn't stay transactional. It turns into something much more personal. It turns into family. The team has taken the time to get to know us and more importantly, they've shown genuine love and care toward our daughters. From the moment you're greeted by Lauren or Coco, you know you're in for a great experience. They are warm, welcoming, and effortlessly kind. Sidney and Daniel are truly special. They are incredibly attentive, thoughtful, and genuine in a way that cannot be taught. Our daughters, especially our youngest, absolutely adore them and ask for them by name. That kind of connection speaks volumes. And then there's Z. Our Friday nights at the Revel bar simply would not be the same without him. Z IS THE reason this became our tradition. What started as great service turned into a friendship, and now feels like family. Z has an incredibly kind heart. He is attentive, intuitive, and deeply cares about the people he serves. Beautiful decorations still in place. I have been here many times, but this is the first time I tried the fish tacos. This is easily one of the best items on the menu. Light and tasty fish with colorful cabbage slaw on top made for a gorgeous display as well. I also tried the ahi ceviche, and the presentation was equally awesome and the taste...chef's kiss! Last but not least, every time I e been here the waiters and all staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. When it comes time to tip you won't hesitate, which is exactly where you want to be as a diner. Parking out front. Indoor and outdoor seating. Hugh bar with tons of seating. Open kitchen. A great place all in all.

Which is a shame since the food was excellent. The classic margarita was delicious and made with Arette tequila, which is one of my favorites. It was fresh tasting and well balanced. I would have had a lot more if I wasn't on a work budget. We split the Molotitos appetizer which was fried corn masa with a hodgepodge of fillings and toppings. They were good and bigger than I thought they would be. Definitely good for sharing, or even for a meal. They were a little dry, but they were topped with lots to goodies. I ordered the Shrimp Asados for my meal which was a fresh tasting grilled shrimp dish with veggies and quinoa... only they forgot the quinoa. After over an hour of waiting for it, I wasn't going to ask for some... not that I could as the waitress didn't really come back to the table that often. My colleague got the Mole Chicken and wow, that mole sauce was delicious. It also came with freshly made tortillas which made all the difference in that dish. The place was pretty big with outdoor dining and we were lucky enough to snag a table outside with very little wait... but ended up waiting a lot for the food. I think we were there for over 2 hours and left shortly after we finished our meals. Good food thought but man... figure out that service!

The menu is extensive enough for most tastes, and we did order a variety of foods to test that theory! The ones we ordered and have photos for include: Pear Quesadilla (Pears, brie cheese, flour tortilla, pear chutney); Calamari Fritti; New York White Cheddar Fondue; Bishop Ranch salad (Baby greens, pear, candied walnuts, blue cheese, balsamic vinaigrette); and for dessert: Warm Pear Tart (Puff pastry, vanilla ice cream, caramel), and a Seasonal Bread Pudding. The food came quickly and hot from the kitchen - except the salad and desserts! The food was very tasty, and the pear quesadilla and fondue were favorites for the uniqueness and the taste. The fondue had sliced pears along with the bread, a great change in the usual fondue take. The salad was also liked, fresh and a good variety of tastes and textures. They subbed the dressing for ranch. The desertas were also a hit, being shared. The warm pear tart was best liked, and very sweet and traditional in taste, but the bread pudding was also a close second. The pear tart was new to us, though. The service was great, and Cesar R. took good care of us. Overall, a great time! Can't wait for another excuse to be in the area for dinner.

We came late on a Saturday evening. I tried to French onion soup and lamb shank. Both were ok but seemed to be lacking something. The servers were really friendly and I will come back again. Their wine list is reasonably priced and heavily dominant with Wagner family wines. If Belle Glos, Caymus, and friends are your jam, this is the place for you.
