Stopped into Harvest for lunch today. My brother and SIL have lived in Danville for forever, and I'm pet sitting this weekend and finally get to try this restaurant after passing by it for, literally, decades. It's a beautiful day, so the place was packed for the outside seating, so I sat at a cute table inside. Fine by me! Plus, I'm by a window so really, just lovely. They offer the brunch menu on Saturdays, and everything looked delish, but I was in the mood for a salad. With several tasty-looking salads, and I selected the Superfood Salad with the grilled shrimp as an add-on. First bite provided me with a taste explosion of pleasure! The ginger-lime vinaigrette is simply delicious and the salad was perfectly dressed. This salad has arugula, baby kale, fresh berries including strawberries and perfectly ripe blackberries--I found one blueberry, too. It also has jicama, avocado, crunchy cucumber, and some sunflower and sesame seeds. The menu said it had mango, but I didn't have any. No worries, if the mango wasn't ripe, I wouldn't have wanted it anyway. The shrimp add-on was lightly grilled and seasoned (you don't need to add salt to shrimp and this chef knows that!) and very moist and juicy. You get 4 shrimp for $11 as of this writing. But the added protein made the salad a meal for me and I would have been hungry had I not added them. As you can see in the photo, I also had a glass of their still rose, which was a perfect pairing for my fruit-filled salad. The atmosphere is a warm farmhouse style with a beautiful bar. I see there is a back room which is likely the main dining room, but I didn't get back there for pics. Service was friendly and warm from reception to waitstaff. I look forward to returning and trying some more dishes! You should come, too!
Food: We were here for brunch and ordered the Caesar salad, mimosa, and tomato salad. The Caesar salad was quite different from the traditional version, with fried chicken underneath. Still wondering what happened there. The tomato salad, on the other hand, was pretty good, with sweet, juicy heirloom tomatoes paired with creamy burrata cheese. The orange juice in the mimosa was quite sour and didn't have much of an orange flavor. Service: Pretty good overall. Ambience: No music, and the place was very busy. We are still looking for our "go-to" place in Danville.
I've been here several times and I love them! The service is always wonderful and friendly. And the food has always been really good and fresh. Today I got the Cheddar biscuits with the Salmon Toast off their brunch menu. And the Easy Beachy cocktail. In the past I've have their Farmhouse salad, deviled eggs, millionaire bacon, banana bread. All delicious. Looking forward to next time!

Nicholas our server could not have been friendlier and knowledgeable of the food and cocktail program. I love this place for HH, out with friends or on a date. The price point given the value, quality, ambiance and service is more than a fair value. This place is definitely on our must return list. I recommend without reservation.

Had an amazing dinner at Harvest- the food was great and the service was even better! I sat at the bar and Nicholas was very attentive and even made me a special mocktail! Had to be the best mocktail I ever had, not too sweet and perfectly balanced. I highly recommend the summer ravioli and the spicy margarita mocktail.
Service was good , fast and polite. The menu is very good, get what fancies you . There's lots to choose from . I learned a lesson- go with your first choice - I've been trying to practice that - I find when I do t do that- I wish I got what I wanted first . I got the herb crusted halibut - good - yet I was wanting more - the short rib bites were that- short . I was wanting more - and my guest got the Superfood salad with chicken- that's a huge win- it was so good - my first choice was the braised short ribs- mmmmmmmmmmmmm. I like the place. It's an old house converted and it has rustic charm. Outside seating is cozy with a fire and warmers - it was a little too chilly last Sunday for us- we were out all day and inside was nice .. it was a slow and cozy Sunday- it started to pick up when we were finishing up- unlike it here and we will be back. The staff is very nice - the food is good and easy parking - it's a win .
It was a warm Saturday afternoon, I found street parking across the street with plenty of other parking. We were meeting some family with a total of 13 of us. They were not super busy and I made reservations for us in advance. I had the short rib hash and split it as I wasn't that hungry. The hash was so tasty and delicious. I would come back just for the hash. The hush puppies were good but I would try other things on the menu. I didn't get to try the berries and croissant but it looked good. I forgot to take pictures everyone else's food. If you're in Danville looking for a brunch spot try the short rib hash. We will be back to try a few more items.
Had not been here for a long long time, so decided to take my friends there for lunch. Had made reservations and they had set up a nice table inside. However, it was a lovely day on Wednesday,so requested outdoor seating. They were not too busy and happily organized a table for 10 outside. We ordered drinks, appetizers, mains and shared beignets for dessert. Our server Carla was kind and efficient. She patiently met the multiple (sometimes unreasonable!) requests of the guests. We had a looong lunch, and enjoyed it! Great ambiance, delicious food and excellent service! Highly recommended!
Danville Harvest is a small restaurant near Bridges. Menu is somewhat small but elegantly executed. They have a good local following. The menu changes with the season. Being small, the setting feels quaint and special. They have nice outside eating that is popular when warm. Service has always been attentive and friendly. A great find of you want more intimate casual dining.
Service and ambiance was very nice. I got here towards the end of happy hour and ordered two $5 plates. It was quite comedic when the plates arrived. One tiny chicken sandwich and one empanada. It was good, but I expected to have at least 2 of each. For the entrees we got the braised short ribs and the danville burger with truffle fries. These entrees were also very good. The best part was the truffle fries.
Came here for brunch and loved the cute aesthetic--it feels like you're in a farmhouse-inspired barn. The food was wonderful. I had the fruit salad, which was both delicious and gorgeous (it's now my profile picture!). I also ordered the fall superfood salad made vegan and was able to have the dressing since it didn't contain alliums. Such a delicious spot and very accommodating when it comes to allergies.

Delicious. We sat outside, which was very nice on this hot day, even if the leaves were falling on the table, but I never fell on our food. Our server, Juana was very friendly, attentive, and went back multiple times to the kitchen to get us condiments. She did it all with a smile on her face, to me that's an A plus. Now for the food. Got the cinnamon roll. with a caramel sauce and pecans, which was delicious. But for nine dollars, a little steep. We had the hush puppies, not my favorite, but it was delicious. The cornbread outer was a little dry. Now I got the breakfast sandwich without the arugula, the waitress's suggestion. I ate the whole sandwich. I didn't even stop to talk. The egg was fluffy, the croissant was flaky, and the bacon was nicely crisp. The best condiment they had was a sriracha butter. It's not spicy, it's sweet. I will be back. read more

My husband and I came for dinner on Sunday night, and it was our first time at this location. Our server, Mari, was amazing! She greeted us with a big smile and made us feel very welcome. When we told her it was our first time, she took her time helping us with the menu and gave us great recommendations for food and drinks. Everything she suggested was delicious! Mari was so friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. She truly made our first experience at this location memorable. We will definitely be back, and we hope to have her as our server again! read more

Came here for a quick lunch. The menu is definitely HEALTHY! There is indoor and outdoor seating. The inside is very clean. The lunch menu in my opinion was very small. There are a lot of shareable appetizers, but as far as a full meal the menu seemed pretty sparse. I ordered the smash burger. My burger was cooked great on a nice brioche bun. Food was alright but overpriced, and the waitress who took care of us (I don't exactly recall but I think her name was Rhea?) was not the most delightful. She sounded sarcastic and passive aggressive at times when serving us so the dining experience felt uncomfortable. On top of that, with our party of 6 there was a 20% service charge so it's a bit unfair to be treated this way. read more
Brunched with a group of friends at Danville Harvest and we all left happy (and full). The menu had something for everyone, and we each tried different dishes--everything from avocado toast to short ribs--and not a single complaint in the bunch. Everything was delicious here at Danville Harvest! I went for a baby shower and they placed us in a room in the back. It was pretty private since they closed it off with a curtain. Our waitress was kind and very helpful! I ordered the breakfast sandwich! We also ordered the banana cake, mini donuts, and fruit. The mini donuts were nice and warm. They also came with two dipping sauces. For dessert, my aunt ordered a bunch of different things, chocolate chip cookies, a peach cobbler, passion fruit pana cotta and a couple of ice creams. Came here for the Father's Day brunch buffet and was seriously impressed. I don't usually like buffets, but this one was on another level. Everything was delicious! The bacon was perfectly crispy, the fried chicken was juicy, the French toast and waffles were spot-on, and the ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender. Every single dish was top-tier. Also the lady helping our table was so nice and polite! We made a reservation about a week in advance and had no issue getting a spot. It was $55 per person, which felt completely worth it given the quality and variety of food. Relaxing but fancy little place in downtown, not too loud or overcrowded even for a holiday. Overall, a fantastic experience. I'll definitely be back for future special occasions! read more

Hows the parking?
Parking can be a little tough during Thursday/Friday/Saturday evenings since a lot of people hangout there. Other than that is usually not bad.
How are the vegan options?

I'd assume they're serving the tables, making the drinks, seating guests etc! Most restaurants are super understaffed these days

I personally don't need it to be vegetarian. However, I found the staff very accommodating and creative, and they can suggest a vegan option if requested.
Are there any designated parking spots for this restaurant? If so, how many spots? Thanks !
There are no dedicated spots but there is a huge municipal lot behind the restaurant with free parking. Our elderly guest had no problem getting to Harvest.
Are reservations for friday dinners not available?
I thought any night was available but they get snapped up usually 24 hours+ in advance especially for weekend brunches and dinners. I usually try to book a few days in advance. One time I had a late reservation on a Tuesday but they decided to close…
Has anyone had any experience here with large groups (e.g approx 24)?
They can accommodate large groups. My girlfriend had a large celebration here and had 40+ guests.
Do you guys not take a reservation on Saturdays?

Is brunch/breakfast served every day?
Brunch at Harvest is served on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Harvest does have lunch every weekday though!
