Does anyone have the Amex Platinum? That's how I found out about this place! With the card, you get $100 Resy credits per quarter and this restaurant is on the Resy site! My fiancé and I came here for New Year Eve lunch and the place was packed! I didn't know how to change the reservation on Resy but we were put at an outside table. If you remember, it was pouring rain on NYE and we asked if we could sit inside. They shuffled some things around and found us a cozy corner spot which we were so thankful for. Staff is very friendly and kind! The place is super modern inside and has a nice ambiance. We ordered the appetizer wings, a coke, a Hugo spritz, and a wagyu burger with bacon & upgraded the side to truffle fries for us to split. The bill and tip came out to $100 so the whole bill was covered by the card benefit (yay!). I accidentally forgot to take a picture of the burger because I was so hungry lol but the wings were really good and not too spicy. I don't like blue cheese but he does and he said the blue cheese aioli that came with the wings were insanely good. The Hugo spritz in the picture was also really delicious! They have a parking lot behind the restaurant, street parking can be difficult. We parked behind the restaurant on a cold rainy Saturday night. It was busy but we had reservations. Our table wasn't ready yet, so we waited around 10 minutes then we were seated. It is a restaurant and bar. A tad loud if you're looking for a quiet dinner but it was fine. We were seated across from the bar with a tv so I could watch the tail end of 3rd quarter and 4th of the warriors winning the game. We started with mussels, a light sauce with bread to dip and it had a few pieces of sausages. Light and tasty! Next I had the shrimp and grits. I didn't realize the grits are pretty filling. The shrimp was perfectly cooked with mushrooms and small pieces of ham. I did try a bite of the pork chop and the Brussel sprouts but not the wagu burger or short ribs. The dessert, I had the warm brownie with ice cream and caramel. The toffee cake was ok and I did not trying to the pudding. I would go back and try a few more items. Came here with a co-worker just a little while ago and left extremely disappointed. First, I do want to say the bartender was great and very friendly. We ordered a $75 bottle of sparkling wine and the biscuit chicken sliders. Unfortunately, the food was completely mediocre and lacked flavor altogether. What really upset me, though, was the experience at the bar. An Ecolab rep came in to service/check the dishwasher behind the bar and ended up spraying me all over my face, top, and the bar area. I sat there shocked waiting for someone -- anyone -- to acknowledge what happened. Not one manager or employee asked if I was okay, offered napkins, apologized, or even addressed it at all. It was simply ignored like it never happened. As someone who is a bartender myself and works in the service industry, I can confidently say that if I allowed a patron to endure something like that without acknowledging it, there would be hell to pay. Service recovery and basic hospitality matter. Our bill was nearly $125 for lunch, and the only thing the manager said to me on the way out was, "Have a great day." We walked an immediately were seated at the high top table. Which was perfect for having drinks. Our server Luca was amazing she took excellent care of us. This is one of the few restaurants that have outdoor seating year round, including heaters and overhead protection. I'm immunocompromised, so only eat outside in restaurants. Revel has seating outdoors in two areas: in front of the restaurant and a patio in the rear. I prefer the rear patio, as it is less noisy and more sheltered. read more
