My one star is based solely on how an incident there was handled because I love the food here and the ambience and I've been coming for decades. This has been in my top 5 restaurants for at least 15 years and we celebrate a lot of occasions here, or at least we used to. We came with a party of 6 for Mother's Day, had a reservation and were seated quickly at a nice table. Had the sweetest waitress who took our food and drink order (it was prix fixe so you order appetizer, main and dessert all at once). The waitress delivered me my diet coke on a tray that also had my brothers red wine glass on it and it tipped and fell all over my shirt and my skirt. Everybody was very quick to respond, especially since the glass broke under my chair and at my feet. I was without exaggeration SOAKED. They offered me a chefs jacket because I was going to head home, not to be dramatic, but I was way too wet to enjoy lunch and I didn't want to wear a restaurant jacket. My brother had a t-shirt under his button down and I went and changed into that and dealt with the soaking wet skirt all through lunch. Again I want to emphasize the waitress and staff were attentive and apologetic. The part that leaves me with one star is that nothing was comped and nobody offered to pay for my dry cleaning. It's inexcusable in every way. At least comp my meal, the drinks, something, but if you don't want to do that you should offer to pay for my cleaning and be grateful nothing spilled on my Oran sandals or Rodeo bag because I wouldn't have left without saying a word if that happened. Bridges, do better. You lost a long time customer because not one person thought to try to make this right. Please see attached pictures of the red wine stains on my clothing.

The restaurant of Mrs Doubtfire fame changed ownership late last year. While looking for a venue to throw a surprise baby shower, this place popped up in our google searches. It was nice to see a fellow pinoy now owns this place. Eduardo was really nice over the phone while hashing out the details of our party. We were setup outside on a nice spring late afternoon. Weather was nice for an outdoor gathering. There was a pianist playing some background music. We preordered all our food and was pleasantly surprised when everything came out without a hitch. Everyone raved about the food. I had the pork chop, which was excellent. Pork chops are easy to mess up (ask me how I know). One minute too long on the grill can mean the difference between excellent and dry. Salmon was great too, and risotto was delicious for those that don't eat meat. Saw a friend there and she had the burger, which she said is one of the best in the area. Desserts were fantastic, especially the creme brulee. I loved this dish, perfect ratio of sweet top and creamy bottom (the dessert). Service was top notch as well. No complaints at all. Apologies, Eduardo, for the kiddos running around. They got antsy after dinner and the pianist was gracious and patient with the kids. Definitely will return!

came here on a Saturday night with no reservations and was seated immediately the place was busy but had ample seating. Service was quick and friendly. They often checked up on us and kept our drinks filled. Food was amazing. If you appreciate sadness and dishes you will love their menu. Serving size is slightly larger than usual so sharing between two people is encouraged. We did not stay for dessert however the menu looked inviting. This is the perfect place for a small party, but maybe a stroller could fit in the outside seating. I will definitely come back to celebrate on special occasions.

Just about this hot inside the restaurant too...

Happy Hour menu was diverse and reasonably priced. The food and drinks we ordered were tasty. But the temperature in the bar? Inhumane. Sunny and hot with a heat advisory today. Current temp outside? 91 degrees. Felt like it was close to that inside. No fan or airflow in the bar area during happy hour. Literally ended up using our cloth napkins dipped in ice water to cool off. By the time we hurried thru our meal and paid the bill, we were both sweating profusely and were so uncomfortably warm we were on the verge of passing out. Would likely return on a day when it was overcast and/or raining. But never again on a warm day.

Food was mediocre at best. Everything tasted sweet. We didn't even want our leftovers. Restaurant was nearly empty. Not what it used to be.

Ask the Community - Bridges Restaurant & Bar

Is this a white tablecloth restaurant? Celebrating an anniversary, and noticed some pictures show white tablecloths, and others a plain hardwood table with what looks like some hardwood chairs.

This is a white tablecloth restaurant! And it is perfect for special occasions.

Does anyone know what the corkage fee is?

$20

Is the original sign from the movie mrs.doubtfire still up?

The sign out front looks the same, although we went during the day. Don't know if it's original. It was amazingly nostalgic!

Do they have their own parking lot? Where can you park?

We found some free street parking for 3 hours.

Please tell me they serve jambalaya?

I came to their Yelp right after watching Mrs. Doubtfire with the same question!!

Any corkage fee?

Yes! You'd need to call the restaurant for current price. I believe it's $20-25. Food and service is excellent.

Are mimosas really $4?

At brunch yes

Came here with friends/compatriots for a dinner after a long day of work. The ambience is great,…read morethe staff very friendly and we were seated quickly. The menu is extensive enough for most tastes, and we did order a variety of foods to test that theory! The ones we ordered and have photos for include: Pear Quesadilla (Pears, brie cheese, flour tortilla, pear chutney); Calamari Fritti; New York White Cheddar Fondue; Bishop Ranch salad (Baby greens, pear, candied walnuts, blue cheese, balsamic vinaigrette); and for dessert: Warm Pear Tart (Puff pastry, vanilla ice cream, caramel), and a Seasonal Bread Pudding. The food came quickly and hot from the kitchen - except the salad and desserts! The food was very tasty, and the pear quesadilla and fondue were favorites for the uniqueness and the taste. The fondue had sliced pears along with the bread, a great change in the usual fondue take. The salad was also liked, fresh and a good variety of tastes and textures. They subbed the dressing for ranch. The desertas were also a hit, being shared. The warm pear tart was best liked, and very sweet and traditional in taste, but the bread pudding was also a close second. The pear tart was new to us, though. The service was great, and Cesar R. took good care of us. Overall, a great time! Can't wait for another excuse to be in the area for dinner.

We came late on a Saturday evening. I tried to French onion soup and lamb shank. Both were ok but seemed to be lacking something. The servers were really friendly and I will come back again. Their wine list is reasonably priced and heavily dominant with Wagner family wines. If Belle Glos, Caymus, and friends are your jam, this is the place for you.

Service was good , fast and polite…read more The menu is very good, get what fancies you . There's lots to choose from . I learned a lesson- go with your first choice - I've been trying to practice that - I find when I do t do that- I wish I got what I wanted first . I got the herb crusted halibut - good - yet I was wanting more - the short rib bites were that- short . I was wanting more - and my guest got the Superfood salad with chicken- that's a huge win- it was so good - my first choice was the braised short ribs- mmmmmmmmmmmmm. I like the place. It's an old house converted and it has rustic charm. Outside seating is cozy with a fire and warmers - it was a little too chilly last Sunday for us- we were out all day and inside was nice .. it was a slow and cozy Sunday- it started to pick up when we were finishing up- unlike it here and we will be back. The staff is very nice - the food is good and easy parking - it's a win .

However, it was a lovely day on Wednesday,so requested outdoor seating. They were not too busy and happily organized a table for 10 outside. We ordered drinks, appetizers, mains and shared beignets for dessert. Our server Carla was kind and efficient. She patiently met the multiple (sometimes unreasonable!) requests of the guests. We had a looong lunch, and enjoyed it! Great ambiance, delicious food and excellent service! Highly recommended!

To drink, we had passionfruit mimosas, the maitai (the non-classic one), the chi chi, and the painless (mocktail). All were delicious and beautifully presented. To eat, we shared the Spam musubi. Another lovely presentation! The ratio of Spam to rice to seaweed was balanced and came with a tasty sauce drizzled overtop and a different one on the side. For brunch entrees, we had the ube waffles (one as is and one with chicken katsu), the kalua pork breakfast sandwich? And the poke bowl. The ube waffles are unique and delicious! They are topped with whipped cream, ube syrup, and a fresh fruit salsa; all complemented the waffles well. The chicken katsu was perfectly coated in panko and fried well. The poke was refreshing and came with crunchy pickled vegetables, edamame, and avocado; which was a healthy and tasty brunch dish! The Kalua pork breakfast sandwich was hearty and savory, and the potato salad completed the plate nicely. We finished our meal with the Hula pie. Must get, even if you don't have room! If you're looking for a great brunch spot with delicious island inspired food and a lovely patio (dog-friendly), make sure to check out Kaia's!

As the afternoon went on it got really packed both outside and inside. Our server was super friendly and bilingual which was amazing because my kid only speaks Spanish. I couldn't decide what to choose so I picked the pulled pork sandwich which was great for this not being a bbq place. The pork was tender and some pieces were crispy. The slaw was perfect- not too sweet and not too moist. My kid loved the pretzel bites, I just wish they had more kid menu options because thankfully, my kid doesn't eat nuggets and cheese pizza. I paired my huge sandwich and fries with their crisp and clean pilsner. My spouse loved their hazy ipa and took a four pack home.
