Enjoyed a good lunch here. Our sever was really nice and helpful. The food was pretty good. I had the chicken parm, and the pesto noodles were soooo good. The pesto was super fresh and the noodles were perfectly al'dente . The chicken needed a little help. It was a huge peice of chicken, but other than the pasta sauce and the cheese on top it was well seasoned. This is the only reason I took off 1 star! My son devoured the pizza, so it was obviously good, as were the fries. Dessert was good. The creme brulee was tasty, the tarimisu was just OK. It looked to be a nice restaurant for families or friends. Ill definitely be back!

Came back to Market Tavern last night. Felix, Pat, Jalen and the staff welcomed us with open arms remembering our usual drinks and how we like them on the fly. The food was excellent, prepared and cooked to our likings. It's such a great vibe being here lunch or dinner, the atmosphere has that low lighting, vintage, charming theme to it that never gets old. Thanks again Market Tavern for a wonderful experience. See ya soon again!

Erica made fantastic cocktails! We had a wonderful time, and will happily come back when we are in the area again!

We've seen this place many times driving by and saw the Yelp reviews were good so we popped in on a Saturday night to try it out. It's on the edge of the shopping center by the theatre so the parking was pretty easy since there are not a ton of shops around it. It's got a slightly upscale but still casual vibe to it, I thought the market area in the front was a unique feature. We were seated immediately and we got into the menu. I ended up ordering the fish tacos with a side of fries, my wife got the king salmon special, and the kiddo got mac and cheese. The fish tacos (2 tacos) were alright, my wife enjoyed her salmon, and the mac and cheese was your basic staple. Decent food but I thought the price point was pretty high. Not sure that I'd come back here again as the food is decent but the value received is not enough to draw me back.

Review #1,002 Posted on 2.17.26 We came here for Valentines Dinner on Saturday the 14th. I booked a reservation a few weeks back and was able to get a 2 top at 4:45 pm. We got there and were sat immediately. This location is near the IMAX theater at Hacienda Crossings in Dublin. When you come in, they've got a bar area to the left, and a little mini market to the right, it's a unique idea for a restaurant. The market has all kinds of little items for a small area, including an area that's refrigerated to keep items cool, like puddings/desserts. They've got fresh loafs of cornbread or muffin type loafs, sweets, wine, & more. Our server was awesome. He took good care of us. We split the wedge salad and crispy brussel sprouts to start. The brussel sprouts were excellent, they had sliced or slivered almonds I think it was in that recipe too, but for sure one of the better ways I've had that item at a restaurant. My wife got the lobster risotto, I got the ribeye. The ribeye was cooked a perfect medium, and had great flavor, my spinach with it was awesome too. We were a bit too full for dessert but will for sure return.

I met up with a friend after work for dinner. There is ample parking. The restaurant has a cozy vibe to it. We had an attentive server, even though the place was very busy on a Wednesday night. I ordered the short ribs which came with barley (seems like a strange choice). The waitress recommended I switch it out for mashed potatoes, which was a better pairing for me. We split the crème brûlée for dessert which was delicious. I look forward to coming back again.

This place nails the balance between polished and approachable. It feels elevated enough for a date night or business dinner, but the menu stays friendly and familiar. The space is a big win. You've got options: a cozy outdoor pergola with heat lamps and a fire pit, a kitschy bar if you want more energy, or seats near the kitchen. Great for different moods and occasions. Food-wise, the main entrees are noticeably more $$$ than the rest of the menu, so I gravitated toward pizzas, tacos, salads, sandwiches, and apps. Most were solid, enjoyable, and well-executed. The khachapuri was the one truly memorable dish. Flavorful, comforting, and the kind of plate you keep thinking about after you leave. Service was friendly, attentive, and on top of things without hovering, which really elevated the experience.

Went here for a work lunch with my team and we had a great time! Our server was very attentive and thoughtful, which is amazing for a party of 10! The restaurant itself has ample parking, and has a cozy ambiance. For my food, I ordered the sausage and rigatoni pasta and it was delicious! The sauce was this creamy tomato sauce that I couldn't get enough of. The sausage and broccolini was yummy too. I had the large portion and took some home as leftovers, which heated up quite nicely! Will definitely want to come back again, I'm still thinking about that pasta!

Always fun at this Market Tavern's bar. Felix is a great bartender and always takes care of us. The service is good. They always check on you. There was a little hiccup with my soup as they gave me the wrong soup but it was an easy fix and they were apologetic about it. When at the warm and inviting bar area, we usually just order a bunch of appetizers. Meatballs - so good Furikake Fries - great flavor you don't see everywhere. Mushroom pizza - amazing fungi flavor! Brussels Sprouts - combination of textures makes this one of my faves Butternut Squash soup - fall goodness in a cup. Chicken Wings - sweet glaze

I really love this restaurant and can't believe I have not reviewed them yet! I have been here several times for dinner and recently for brunch. This is one of the few places my kids eat super well at which is such a relief. They love their pizzas which even the kids size is so large and delicious! They have regular pizzas that are also so very good. Compete with local pizzerias. I have had the pork chop which is so good and again a large portion. The salmon is great and so many others. However, brunch really surprised me! My husband ordered the steak scramble and it was so surprisingly good. It has this nice smoky salsa on it. We went for my birthday and my parents both loved their entrees. I chose to get the shrimp louie salad instead of breakfast and really enjoyed it. Great sized shrimp and great dressing. Should have taken pics! I also need to comment on their drinks, I have had the Pineapple Express and Runaway Bride. Both are really good drinks! We love this place so much, wish them well so that we can continue to come back!

Definitely a good date night place! Low lighting and open areas, a few dining rooms so very spacious. I ordered the rigatoni with sausage and absolutely loved it! Even made for a great next day lunch leftovers meal! Good portions. We also got the shoestring fries and those as well were delicious. Staff were super nice and service was fairly quick. It was a short visit for us as we were awaiting entrance to an event nearby. Definitely will be back again if in the area!

The ambiance, and most importantly the food absolutely scream to be located on Washington St in Yountville where they could make a billion dollars. Menu changes daily, not usually posted on their website until around 3pm so check often and if you see something you like on said menu, book a reservation immediately as it fills up quick. Bar and inside dining are great, but the outdoor patio is the spot. Lovely in the sun and if it gets chilly they have heaters and blankets (nice touch with the blankets). Back to the food, it's phenomenal. Every dish well thought out with the freshest ingredients possible; elevated and executed to perfection. Pasta is perfectly al dente and has that "chew" everyone tries to get, but rarely pulls off and rarer still, as well as Range Life does it. Servers, bartenders and host make for a truly welcoming environment. A place you want to sit down; eat, drink and be merry. It's akin to being transported to a place that you'll never want to leave. To hell with Disneyland, when I win the Super Bowl, I'm coming here. I assure you if you haven't been yet, you'll be back time and time again. Consider yourself warned. If you have experienced it before then you know exactly what I'm talking about and no further explanation is needed. Last night I went there for the 5th time. I've been there on dates and with big groups. Most of the time it has been amazing. This last meal, however, was flawless, and it inspired me to share today. First off, we did not have reservations on a Saturday night, and they were still able to get us 2 seats at the bar in 45 minutes, which was a relief. I was open to going to other downtown Livermore highlights such as Bourbon Pear or Il Campo, but was hoping on a whim we could get a seat at Range Life (which would typically require a reservation), since my date had not been there before. Once we got our seats, we were met with amazing service. At the moment I am not drinking, so I was wondering what kind of mocktails or non-alcoholic beers they had. Beforehand I was also wondering if they had a non-alcoholic aperitivo, since I know they have a lot of amaros and bitters. To my surprise, they did, so I had a non-alcoholic spritz, which was amazing. From there, we were only looking to get the highlighted entrées -- a black cod and a flat iron steak -- but we were also talked into getting one of their tartare/crudo options. We decided to go with the Amberjack crudo, which was absolutely amazing. It had mustard greens, fig leaf oil, and fresh early-season cherries, each ingredient something you were able to truly appreciate. The fig leaf oil, the fish, and the cherries were stunning, with the mustard greens providing a nice balance. From there we shared both the black cod and the grass fed flat iron steak. The flat iron steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful (despite being grassfed) that came with an amazing herb butter, mashed potatoes, and a porcini mushroom sauce that was absolutely to die for. The black cod was cooked to perfection as well -- tender, flaky, reminiscent of the butterfish I always have in Waikiki at Roy's. Accompanied by Iocopi English peas, bok choy, and turnips with dashi butter. The peas were, for what it's worth, probably the best peas I've ever had, and the vegetables were perfection. Light but amazing. The combination of both entrées was outstanding. Lastly, we had the famous Milk and Honey -- burnt honeycomb, olive oil, and malted milk ice cream. I've had it about 4 times now, and yet it was still surprisingly mind-blowing. I know something is truly amazing when I have to close my eyes and imagine the flavors bursting like a scene from the movie Ratatouille. I had to close my eyes to truly appreciate the crispy, sweet but slightly savory honeycomb, the fresh ice cream, and the olive oil for balance. The meal was absolutely flawless, and with the aperitivo, the Topo Chico, both entrées, and dessert, it came to $150 before tip. Honestly, it's a steal. I spent $300 at LB last weekend for a birthday dinner -- granted, I did get some A5 wagyu, an $80 14-ounce ribeye, a bunch of sides, and a couple of non-alcoholic drinks, which was amazing, but hardly a fair comparison. And if you go to the city or Oakland, you can easily spend $300-$500 on a meal, more if they have a Michelin star or two (or three). But for the quality you get, Range Life is an amazing deal. The fact that you can get this quality in Livermore is both convenient and remarkable.
