Food was good and very reasonable and I like the atmosphere too! I cannot wait to go back!

    Black & Blue salad

When a friend from out of town wanted to meet here, I was excited and said yes! It is across the street from the Yin Yin and kitty corner from the Donut Wheel, both longtime establishments. They open at 11:30 and we were the first guests to walk through their doors on this Thursday. The host sat us way in the back. Their menu is intriguing with starters, soups, salads, burgers and entrees. We ordered: Black & Blue salad - romaine, filet tips, bleu cheese crumbles, tomato with crispy onions on top, a very pretty salad. My friend is a huge fan of bleu cheese so this was the salad for her. She especially enjoyed the protein, tomatoes, bleu cheese crumbles as well as the bleu cheese dressing. She mentioned the crispy onions added an extra crunch. The meat was cooked medium like she requested. Sedona chicken sandwich - chicken breast, green chili, cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato with choice of soup or salad. My sandwich was just okay. It was missing that wow factor that I was expecting. Chicken unfortunately did not have much flavor and the bun fell apart so I had to eat it with knife and fork. Service was okay. No one came back to ask how our food tasted nor did they refill my water. The place did get busier closer to 12:30 and perhaps they needed more help? The interior is pretty and tastefully decorated but it gets noisy as the restaurant fills up. My other friend that lives in Livermore gets take-out often from here and she loves their BLT and mac and cheese.

Yum! Yum! Yum! Brought my parents here after a day of shopping, it was delicious! Our waitress was friendly and helpful, she was very knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, they also have outdoor seating. I can't say enough about the food, everything blew our minds! So delicious!

It feels like a very average downtown spot - not terrible, but nothing that really stands out either. The space is pretty tight, the design is forgettable, and the overall vibe doesn't leave much of an impression. Sitting near the entrance was especially uncomfortable since it was drafty and chilly, which isn't ideal on a Friday night. Loved the giant pictures on the walls though. The pricing is on the higher side for what's being offered. Snacks felt overpriced, and drinks being close to $20 set expectations that just weren't met. Food-wise, the loaded bread was left behind on the table and didn't get much attention, and the hush puppies came out a bit dry. Service was all over the place throughout the night - sometimes attentive, other times disorganized which made the experience feel inconsistent. Overall, it's an okay option if you're already in downtown Livermore, but the value and experience don't really match the prices.

This is a tough review. We arrived at 6 pm with a party of 20 (reservations had been confirmed at 4 pm that day) only to be told that our table was given to another party. But they made it right after about 20 minutes. I had the Salisbury steak and my wife had the butternut squash ravioli with brown butter and sage. The Salisbury steak was okay. The brown gravy had no flavor. The ravioli was oddly sweet. We did share the pear quesadilla, which was really yummy.

Went to The Bourbon Pear with a group and had such a wonderful time. Our service was great the whole night. The waiter was attentive and helpful answering menu questions. Drinks were strong, but complimented the garlic fries appetizer well. Our table ordered the Mac and cheese, salmon, fried chicken and short ribs. Yum yum the short ribs were maybe one of the best I've had. Everything came out quickly even though it was a busy Friday night.

In short: all the food was delicious, ambience delightful, and a great dinner all around The appetizers were great- the fondue and the pear quesadilla were particularly delicious. The pear quesadilla had a chutney sauce that is a must to put on as it pears (pun intended) perfectly with the Brie cheese. Dinner was good as well- but the one caveat is the names for the foods are.. generous. The cat fish po' boy for instance is not a po boy but rather a cat fish burger, and the French dip is not what you would traditionally thing and instead is was a whole piece of steak. Both of which were very tasty but perhaps now that you would expect. One last nice part was we had some very delightful live music. Often times background music can be distracting but this was the perfect balance and a great list of songs. The music was by BryceAMusic

The food was excellent! I got the short rib. It was tender and very tasty. The piece was larger than any short rib I have gotten before. The potatoes and carrots which accompanied it were fabulous. My friend got the shrimp and grits. She said they were good as well. It was very crowded and the waitress was running. She was friendly and polite. We ate outside. The seating area was shaded and comfortable.

This is our first time to this restaurant. I went with the Nashville chicken sandwich and a side salad. I like the fact that it was breaded chicken and not grilled for this particular order. The heat was average for a Nashville, hot chicken and the flavor was more in the buffalo sauce as an appetizer we ordered the hush puppies. The only downside was when I got the bill. It was $69 and they charged me for $85. When I questioned it, they added somebody else's wine to my order even after they brought me the ticket I found this to be a little disturbing and unorthodox. They were nice and fixed the mistake but I kind of felt like it was a mistake that shouldn't have happened and had I just signed and gave a tip. I would've never caught it until later.

Amazing Restaurant and 12 min away from the Outlets! Everything here is knock out the park. I mean the cocktails were tasty and had the right amount of kick. The cheesy appetizers were all gooey and very comforting. Paired well with their signature cocktails. But their mains were to notch. I love seeing a big plate and loved the huge portions here. Went here with friends and we all got something different. They had a bunch of southern style cuisine and we definitely tasted the southern comfort here. Staff was super friendly and helped us decide which items to get. Definitely recommend coming here after a full day of shopping in the outlets!

I met up with my ex-wife and my daughter and her boyfriend for dinner to celebrate Christmas. We chose the Bourbon Pear in Livermore because we've known the chef/owner Rodney since 2001. Rodney's first cafe/restaurant was called the Peasant and the Pear located in San Ramon. Boy has Rodney come a long way since then. My first impression of the Bourbon Pear is the ambience. Nice and quaintly located in downtown Livermore. There is both indoor and outdoor dining available. We sat outside since it was an unusual warm night in December. The second impression was the menu. Everything on the menu looks very appetizing. Our order included Cajun chicken pasta, Salisbury steak, NY strip and a Pork Chop. Appetizers was a warm loaf of sourdough bread and crispy Brussel sprouts. Rod's wife Cindy took our order and checked on us frequently with great hospitality.

The Buzzed & Bougie was very floral, and The Cusco Comb had a nice balance of flavors. Out of the 3, the Electric Nectar was probably the strongest in terms of tasting the alcohol. I don't particularly prefer sour drinks. If I were to re-order, I would get the Cusco Comb, as it fits my taste profile the most. We also ordered the Burrata to share. It came with 6 pieces of toast, which was perfect and divided evenly among the 3 of us. The burrata was delicious. The cherry gastrique added a nice touch of sweetness without being overly sweet. First off, this is NOT on the staff working. We genuinely felt bad for them. Management thought it was a good idea to schedule ONE bartender and ONE server on a packed Saturday night. The entire place was chaotic, customers were visibly irritated, TVs throughout the restaurant stopped working, and the poor employees were drowning trying to keep up. The stress was palpable that made the experience stressful and not enjoyable. Absolute management failure. At one point I used their self-pour beer wall and poured myself half a Modelo only for it to come out warm I was able to find another beer that was actually cold... but still charged for the warm one. The food was somehow even worse. We ordered the barbacoa nachos, wedge salad, and a kids burger with fries. The kids burger was the only edible thing. The wedge salad was drowning in ranch like someone emptied the whole bottle on it. Tomatoes tasted old and gross. Then came the nachos... tiny portion, bland chips, barely any cheese, no mango salsa like the menu claimed, and the "barbacoa" -- if you could even call it that -- was tough, fatty, and completely inedible. $74 later for one appetizer, one salad, one kids meal, and 1 1/2 beers. We only tipped because we felt bad for the server. We will NEVER be back. Thanks for ruining our Mother's Day dinner.
