This place is great! My experience was wonderful. Big Thanks to Corey, our waiter, he provided excellent service and was friendly and courteous during our meal. My recommendation is mushroom ravioli, it's absolutely delicious!

We casually stumbled upon this place after our evening stroll down candy cane lane which was just around the corner of main Street. We chose this after viewing their menu as we passed by. This is our first time eating out at a restaurant since having our first kid. And there was plenty of patio seating and room for our stroller. The twinkly Christmas lights and space heaters were really adding to the holiday spirit. We ordered the farro salad and fettuccine Alfredo to share. The salad was good. Fresh. The Alfredo was good too. It wasn't overly savory or too cheesy and heavy like most chain restaurant pastas might taste like. Also the shrimp/prawns were cooked perfectly and VERY generous which I appreciated. I also had a Shirley temple. I just got so used to not drinking alcohol anymore since before trying getting pregnant. And they used the good cherries, NOT the maraschinos. Would definitely come back. The food was good . The prices were fair. The wait staff was very attentive and checked up on us a few times even when we were the only guests eating outside on the patio. The staff even changed the space heater gas tank for us which helped keep us to stay warm because it WAS chilly outside.

Nice small outside front patio with good service. The breakfast plate was simple, nothing noteworthy. The bacon hash was ok. Plenty of bacon and sausage but seemed to lack flavor balance- maybe some onions and garlic would have helped. Enjoyed the side fresh fruit but could have been cut a bit smaller.

Right in the middle of Downtown Pleasanton, it is at a perfect location for a dinner during the holidays. The service was great and the staff was welcoming. They easily accommodated a group of 10 for a reservation on a Thursday evening, but I am sure on a busy weekend it would be hard to get in without a reservation as it is a smaller space. The appetizers were yummy and a wide variety. Warm artichoke bruschetta and tempura shrimps were my favorite. The bruschetta was the perfect amount of flavoring and texture was not runny, the arugula and cherry tomatoes were a good touch to add a balance. The tempura shrimp was crunchy and not the usual japanese style, which made it unique and a good twist. My main meal was the ribeye steak and I ordered medium rare and unfortunately, my plate was very undercooked. A colleague of mine also had the same order and hers looked just right. The staff was very understanding and took my order back, it did get cooked a little more but still very rare. For dessert, ferrero rocher chocolate cake was decent, but more of a chocolate mousse cake. The key lime pie was very tart. The drinks we ordered were peach violette gin sour and pompei martini, both of which were unique and a solid addition to the entire meal. Great environment and prime location. Food was good and if I do go back I definitely want to try the chicken risotto

    Crunchy French Toast

I came here thinking this brunch spot would be great due to the reviews. I have passed by this place many times and it looked like people were enjoying themselves. The restaurant was packed and had a cute atmosphere. I appreciate the nice service There is even outside patio seating for people watching. You can't go wrong with complimentary bread, which was a nice for them to offer while waiting for my food. While the menu offered typical items you would see at a standard American diner, I found the brunch menu to be mediocre. The food was okay, but I was not a fan of the presentation of other dishes. I decided to settle for the Crunchy French toast. I thought I'd give it a 4/5 because it was something different from the menu. I liked the whipped mascarpone cheese topping with fruit on the side. Overall, delicious and crunchy hence the name. The combination between cereal and French toast is genius. Probably better than standard French toast I have had.

Tri-valley Bistro seemed like a somewhat upscale place when we first ate there years ago. We revisited recently and we're not so impressed this time. I had a salmon dish, which was underwhelming, and The Wife's chicken was merely adequate. It wasn't bad, just Melo's level, for a much higher price. We love eating along Main Street, and visiting other stores nearby, but we likely won't be stopping in here again.

Came here on a Saturday because my husband was craving french toast. We walked in with no reservations but were able to be seated and served quickly. Bread and butter is complimentary, bread was simple but it was soft and warm. For our appetizer we ordered arancini, they were crispy outside and creamy and rich inside. I would order again. I ordered bacon hash with over easy eggs and my husband had the french toast. My bacon hash tastes how you would expect, lots of big pieces of bacon and sausages too! The french toast was very crunchy-it reminded me of cinnamon toast crunch cereal (yum!).

We don't live in the area, but throughout the years whenever we visit Pleasanton, we love coming to this place for lunch. The food never disappoints: fresh ingredients with great flavor. Everything's so well cooked. Friendly staff too! Definitely will be back again and again.

Presentation was unappetizing. Salad was slimy. Salmon was good but the rest was not. Hadn't been there for a while. I won't go back.

They gladly welcomed us by rearranging some high top tables in the corner which allowed for space for us to have great conversations. Our server, Felix, was extra nice and patient with us. For starters we shared the Wood Oven Acme Bread served with European butter and the Crispy Brussel Sprouts which I really enjoyed. It had an extra crunch with peanuts mixed in and just flavored perfectly with lime, chili, and a hint of ginger. Most of us had their Smash Burger served with a side of fries. The burger was this delicious hearty portion of beef topped with their sweet and savory Billionaire's bacon, American cheese, and caramelized onion. I took home half of my burger and my husband found it rather satisfying. Someone had the Penne Pasta with chicken and she said it was really delicious but she also had some to take home as the portion was quite generous. Another one in our party had the Fish Tacos made with wild cod which she found to be tasty but the chipotle crema may have been a little much for her. Felix was on point with refills on our Iced Tea, a couple of us found their Lemon Drop cocktail refreshing and another one in our party enjoyed their sparkling Chandon. A great spot with personable service, delicious food, and refreshing drinks. It's the perfect place to unwind at the end of the day.

I was shocked to see the restaurant pretty crowded for so late on a Thursday night. It was loud and busting in here. We sat at the bar. At first the bartender was attentive. Got our first order of rinks and food. Once the food came out she came by to ask if everything was fine and it was. We noticed a lot of regulars came in as she knew people by name. However, we finished our first drink and wanted a 2nd, but she never came back. We see her attending her regulars and neglecting us on our side of the bar. She walked by a couple times and we tried to get her attention by raising our hand and saying "excuse me" but she ignored us or did not notice. 20 mins of this and we were frustrated. The regular next to us noticed and saw us this whole time. So he said "JULIE!" and she came over and he said they need you. And at this time we just said give us the check and a box. We did not want another drink anymore and just wanted to get out of there. The guy said to just call her name next time if this happens again. I just felt like she enjoyed talking to her regulars a lot more and catering to them. The food was only okayyyy. The chicken lettuce and too much of that cheep crunchy thing and not enough meat and other stuff. I liked the tater tots though. Maybe I will go again, idk. We will see.

Great selection for menu offerings. Sharing the tri-tip steak and eggs with my daughter. And an ube latte, ube matcha iced coffee and mango matcha. When it comes to the Bay Area's ube drinks, I'm always let down and I surprise myself when I do order it. Like tell me I'm lying when Starbucks' ube was a massive fail for me as a Filipino. Post- meal: steak was medium rare and juicy. My younger daughter was in heaven with her tri-tip and A1. Country potatoes were well seasoned. My daughter had club sandwich which she ate voraciously. She's not typically a sandwich person so this was a good sign! Our specialty drinks. Now, with the ube. The ube foam had the tiniest hint of ube flavor but it was more of a purple foam and didn't satisfy my craving. My younger daughter had the ube matcha and although she liked the ube foam, she kept asking me to ask for more because her drink only tasted like matcha. It was more of the same for my daughter who thought there wasn't enough mango in the mango matcha. If we don't finish our drinks, we usually take it home to go but we decided to leave ours. It's not enough to have a good presentation of specialty coffee drinks but the taste leaves one wanting. I want them to do good. There are better foams and syrups out there. Check out the syrup that Porto's uses for their ube matcha. There's great small batch syrups as well. Our waiter was lovely. You get the sense that this is possibly his family's business. If not, he definitely had pride in this restaurant and his work which leads me to believe that I would give this place a try again to eat their food and see if they've improved their coffee menu.
