My friend and I checked out this place this afternoon, and we had a great experience! We ordered two mocktails, the crispy chicken, and the fried wontons (chicken & seafood). The food was delicious, and the mocktails were fantastic. They even gave us the extra ginger beer that didn't fit in the glass, which was a nice touch. The service was excellent, and the staff were warm and friendly. I especially loved the outdoor seating--it was relaxing, comfortable, and such a fun place to spend the afternoon. We'll definitely be back!

If you have been thinking about this place, do it. You will not regret it. The menu is curated with love and attention. I couldn't make up my mind, I wanted to try everything. We tried the spring rolls, fusion 3 bites special, vegetable gyozas, and Dragon Enoki Mushroom. All so delicious. Of course the wine was delicious. Stoped by to watch the FIFA game and of course they had it going! The team is very friendly and attentive. Thank you Tammy and team! I will definitely be back.

Not only did she make some excellent recommendations (which were all smashing hits!) my wife and I both agreed that both her energy and personality were so refreshing and frankly becoming more the exception than the norm in the service industry. We had excellent interactions with her throughout the night and she really helped make our date night experience there a pleasant and memorable one. The food and ambiance were both great no doubt, but the service we received is what will have us coming back for more date nights and family dinners in the future!

We sat outdoors on a beautiful day--the atmosphere was lovely with great vibes, and we even caught some World Cup soccer on the large TV while we dined. It felt casual yet upscale, perfect for unwinding. We started with glasses of wine--my wife loved her Aperol Spritz, and I enjoyed a crisp Pinot Grigio. For our appetizer, we ordered the zucchini florets (fiori di zucca) stuffed with ricotta cheese and served in a marinara sauce. They were delicious and a fantastic way to begin the meal. For our mains, we both went with salads: the Salmon salad for me and the Caesar salad for her. Both were fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we wanted--light but satisfying. We enjoyed every bite of everything we ordered. The service was excellent and attentive, which really elevated the experience. Big thanks to the team for making us feel welcome and taking such good care of us.We'll definitely be back to Locanda Wine Bar. Highly recommend for a nice date lunch, happy hour, or casual dinner with good wine and Italian-inspired plates in a charming downtown Livermore setting.

I loved the entry way like and old italian villa with palm trees. Service was nice and the staff attentive but not bothersome. The seating area is comfy and has views of the winery and where they make the wine. Totally cool out door seating that was full but not so close that you feel tight. The wine was nice and my cousin gets to pick as she knows more about me in regards to wine and I trust her choices. She is like my sister so I trust her. We both liked what we got and what we got to taste. Overall we both Liked Rubino and we would go again. Highly recommend visit if you like a nice intimate place, beautiful sights and awesome wine.

We were seated in the very cute outdoor patio, there was plenty of shade so even though it was pretty warm out we were pretty comfortable. We shared the BBQ platter which was perfect for 3 meat eaters and my partner had the vegetarian mushroom pasta. The platter was great, the beef especially was perfectly medium rare and was tender thru every bite. The roasted vegetables included in the platter included Brussel sprouts and cauliflower which were also beautifully caramelized. My partner enjoyed her mushroom pasta, the ridges on the pasta absorbed every bit of the delicious white sauce. Happy to come back, I think the patio space makes it perfect for families of all ages. Looking forward to trying some cocktails next time.

We were there at 5:45pm on a Saturday and only a couple tables were taken up so we got a spot no problem. I ordered the dirty Greek martini with no vermouth, which was basically a dirty vodka martini with feta brine and olive oil. It was smooth and mellowed out with the savoriness of feta and olive oil. Savory girls, this one's for you! My friends both enjoyed their tamarind tequila cocktail and the non-alcoholic blackberry sage smash. We ordered the whipped feta which came topped with wine-soaked pluots, aleppo pepper, and fermented honey. This was absolutely to die for when scooped up with the fluffy, warm pita on the side. My friends and I have not been able to stop talking about this appetizer. It is what every bread and dip should strive to be - simple yet well-executed, with layers of contrasting flavors and textures. I can't wait to come back, our waitress was so friendly and fun, the food and drink menus have much to be explored, and the ambiance is intimate yet relaxed. What a great spot in downtown Livermore!

Almost every time I've been to a beer or wine bar or even a cider house they always serve drinks in a chilled glass. This isn't the case with wine of course. So I was surprised an establishment in Livermore that serves many beers and ciders would do so. The atmosphere of the place was decent. The bar is in the back and you have to pass an area in the front to get to it. If you didn't know it was there or wasn't sufficiently curious you might turn around and leave without finding it. Overall if you're on the square and specifically wanting wine then this is the place to go. If you're looking for beer or cider and wanting it served correctly then you should look elsewhere.
