The store is filled with every variety of wine you could think of. Just chat with whoever is at the desk and they'll help you find whatever you need. Head upstairs for the wine bar. It's always a great time. Taste flights of white or red and explore wines from all over the world. They also sell wine by the glass if you prefer that. The wine list is always changing which we love. There is bar seating and tables. Go check them out.

I continue to enjoy the wine clubs, wine selection, and live-tasting events put on by The Wine Steward. If you're in the area, it's worth a stop in.

The scene: You walk along a relatively quiet downtown street in an idyllic small town, where are you run into this building that houses a purveyor of fine foods and wines. As you walk in, you are greeted with the smells of various items you can use on a charcuterie board, as well as some of the friendliest folks that you have ever come across. I seriously felt like I was in some sort of movie or something. I didn't spend too much time in there, but you had a variety of delicious looking cheeses and cured meats. Along with an assortment of different types of baked goods. It's a pretty big space, and the food only takes a small piece of it. The rest of the store is filled with different wines from different countries. Oh also, there is the stair case to the second floor towards the back... There's a space upstairs where you will start being able to buy flights of wines and/or have a beer on tap. Is a very cool looking bar area and possible event space. Would love to stop by for a beer the next time I'm back in the area. But definitely a cool shop. It's hard to find places like these days.

Quality/Quantity - Good, huge selection. Flights only on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday; we were a day too early. Cheese and meat platters available. No corkage fee for $25+ bottles purchased downstairs to be enjoyed upstairs; this would have been a better choice for us as we spent much much more than that on 4 glasses of wine. Actually our first glass was $20 each... Atmosphere - Relaxing, as I guess we were the only day drinkers in this area, LOL. Had the whole place to ourselves; except the vendors that kept coming in to sell more wine to the manager/owner. Huge place. Upstairs bar, downstairs retail space. Bar, table, and lounge seating. I think they had outside seating during the pandemic...? It is gone now. Open 7 days a week, see specific hours via Yelp or website. Street parking. Service - Good. Especially since the bar is closed on Wednesdays. Maybe this would explain why we were the only customers, LOL. Price - Expensive, but expected. Next time we will buy a few $25+ bottle wines to drink upstairs. Owner Comment - Congrats to Jim and Cathy on your success since 1999.

Service was exceptional. This was our first time and we can honestly say it won't be our last time. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome smile. We were free to walk around and just look at all their goodies, cheeses, condiments, glasses, and of course wine. The set up is on point, so much to see and very inviting. After our lunch engagement we came back and had made ourselves at home. We took home some great cheese and wine to enjoy later. We will be back!!!

Fantastic wine store with varieties from all over the world. Plenty of accessories, cheeses and food. Upstairs has a tasting bar. The staff is very knowledgeable. I would go here to learn about wine and get different wine from other parts of the world that most stores don't carry.

Don't fret during the shelter in place( SIP). The Wine Steward has your back. I emailed them today with a list of my next 6 dinners that I will be cooking at home and Jim the owner paired my wine order accordingly to my dishes. He has an incredible pairing skill - hits the mark nearly 100 % of the time. I got a case with 12 different wines. Ordering and pick up was effortless and they will deliver in town as well. This will help ease the shelter in place knowing that my cooking will be complimented with an appropriate wine that makes my cooking taste better ! Ha! #YELPNightDineIn

I just love The Wine Steward. It is a perfect place to relax and grab a nice glass of vino. Jim is great, love talking to Jim. The place itself is chalked full of wines galore mixed with Italian-ish influenced & other speciality grocery items, mostly to to compliment your vino selections. The Wine Steward puts on great events throughout the year, wines from around the globe, great walk around parties with a charcuterie type & goodie table to compliment the tastings. Great place to grab a wine out on a date or after work.

Given our table map, the room was a bit cozy for forty but no problem for the waitstaff. The room itself is private, lots of windows, big buffet table and wine area, so it was all good. Waitstaff and venue were great, but what made the event special was the very high quality of the food: gourmet shrimp appetizer, flatbread, salad, chicken kabob, filet mignon kabob (no exaggeration), and Oasis salmon, plus rice, asparagus, mashed potatoes, chocolate mousse cake for dessert, coffee, tea, sodas. AND... they sent our family home with the leftover food, quite a lot that we've polished off since. Charge was $69 per person, three kids counted as one person for a special pizza, 20% service, tax, poured wines from a reasonably priced wine list. Total bill came to $4,000. So... Five stars. And whatever we asked for, Efren and Sadaf said, "No problem," and it wasn't. THANKS to Oasis!

We ordered their Brusselsprouts and short rib sandwich to share and the proportions were perfect, just enough food and we didn't leave a morsel behind. If you're torn about ordering a full shareable of the habanero fries, here's an insider tip: we asked for a side of their habanero sauce to go with our side of fries so we would still have enough room for their short rib sandwich! We started with some appetizers of Crispy Cauliflower, Habanero Fries, and Empanada Trio. They were all very yummy and were served with various dipping sauces. The empanadas had a nice crispy pastry and flavorful filling. I had the Salmon eggs benedict and really enjoyed it. The salmon was smokey, but the eggs could have been just a tad runnier. The salad that came with the dish was really fresh and I really enjoyed the slightly sweet dressing. I was really impressed by how quickly our dishes came out considering the size of our group (12). Because my friend's band (shoutout to Bored of Directors!) was performing and of course that means I'm there to support him. The scene was everything I would normally avoid like the plague (or the "razor throat" strain of Covid-19 as it may be). Nevertheless, this place is cool! Very chill, not pretentious at all. Glad I scoured previous reviews so I knew what to expect: go past the front door and tables, down the alley to enter at the backyard; order drinks at the left side of the bar, food on the right. Picnic type tables scattered about for shared seating. "Stage" area set up in the corner. The beer selection was great, servers were friendly and helpful (and patient with us newbies). We did not have food so I can't comment on that. The band was awesome and played a mix of songs from 1970s thru 2000s. People were dancing, singing along. It was a great night! Not something I would choose to do if Bored of Directors wasn't playing, but when they come back around, I wouldn't hesitate! So go, have fun! There was a birthday celebration happening at a few of the tables in the front yard. Guests looked to be in their 30s to early 40s so I'm guessing that's the regular clientele here. Oh, and we found parking across the street in a center where a lot of businesses are. Some of the spots are reserved for the businesses but there are plenty that aren't.
